Hey! I told you I wasn't giving up on this story. I love you all too much! Anyways a lot has happened since the last time I posted. My English class has already been pressuring me into some contests. I'm nervous, but my friends and family say I don't need to. They tell me I have a writing talent, but I still can't help but be a little self-conscious... Ehh. I have also turned sixteen in the last month. Yay!

On another note, I hope to be writing a lot more frequently. I am still in a confusing time with moving, school and work. So please be patient with me.

I will start answering reviews next time. Speaking of which, 211 reviews! That makes me feel so happy! Thank you all so much! You guys make my busy life worth it. :))

"Bubbles!" Baby blue orbs fluttered opened reluctantly. Instantly they clenched shut due to the painful beam of the sun. It was times like this that the young blonde hated having the white satin curtains. They let the sun in too easily. Groaning in aggravation, she turned her head to face the opposite side of her room. Trying again to open her eyes, she brought up her hand to wipe the sleepy out of them. That was when she heard it. The giggling. Their giggling.

Bubbles sat up and looked outside of her door. (Which was wide open, due to her sisters trying to wake her.) There, right at the frame, was her two eldest sisters and her mother. They were laughing at something. What ever it was, Bubbles didn't know. She probably would never know.

Her eldest sisters, Mary and Josephine, were the closest with their mother. Ever since they were old enough to walk, they stayed under her shadow. This even included schooling in the same practice their mother worked at. Every day after school, the two would go to the Townsville's Children Hospitial to study the practice of medicine. Both were determined to become great Pediatricians like their mother.. Bubbles had went to the hospital a couple of times, but she wasn't recognized as Mrs Delacruise's daughter, she was known as Mary and Josephine's sister. That showed her just how respected they were there, and how much she was not.

"Good morning, Bubbly." Josaphine greeted when she finally saw her baby sister's head pop up. Bubbles let out a big yawn, telling her good morning in the process.

"Bubbles." Her mother, Lucille, scolded. "How many times do I have to tell you that you must cover your mouth when you cough, sneeze, or yawn. Plus, please refrain yourself of talking while yawning. Your words come out incoherently."

"I'm sorry Mommy. I will remember next time." Bubbles apologized. Her mother smiled and nodded.

"Good, now come down to eat. Adrian has fixed a great breakfast for us." She informed. She looked down towards Mary and then started into a fit of giggles."So after she dropped off her child, she ran out of the office, obviously in a hurry. Through my window I could see her still running. She was going so fast that I swear she a mere blur. Anyway,..." The conversation started to fade as the two of them started down the hall.

Sighing, Bubbles tossed her cerulean blue comforter off of her lower torso. She shivered as the cool air caressed her bare skin. Gossebumps rose upon her arms and legs. Feeling herself about to fall asleep again, Bubbles shook her head. Despite the cold, keeping her eyes open was turning into a hard task.

"Oh, Bubbly. You are just too cute." The sound of Josephine's voice made Bubbles jump out of her skin. This gained a snorted chuckle from the older girl. She came walking into the blue themed room. Getting right in front of Bubbles, she brought her hand up and caressed her face. A sigh of contentment passed through Bubbles' lips. A soft smirk graced the beautiful girl's face as she gazed lovingly down at Bubbles. "Let's pick out your clothes and I will do your hair, M'kay?"

The only answer Bubbles gave was a nod, before she stood up and headed to her closet. From the corner of her eye, Bubbles watched Josephine walk to her vanity and pick up a brush and three small barretes. That was one thing that she could say about Josephine: She tried to give as much attention as she could to Bubbles.

Mary was the absolute favorite of their mother. It was not said, but it didn't have to be. It was shown. Josephine was a right behind Mary, however. Then Bubbles other sister, who is the second to youngest, was Thea. The unspoken favoritism for her came from their father. Thea was and will always be a die-hard daddy's girl. Her family loved her, she knew they did. It was just that Josephine showed more love to her than anyone else.

"So, how was the game last night." Josephine asked. She tossed her long blonde hair over her shoulder. Her dark green eyes were focused only on the youngest of the family. Bubbles shrugged, still very tired. Josephine frowned slightly, but kept a steady smile on her lips. "Nothing exciting happened? No new boys that have caught your interest?" Again Bubbles shrugged, finally finding her favorite white blouse. "I'm sorry I couldn't make it. I bet you did amazing."

"How could you? You've never seen me actually perform before." Bubbles mumbled. Yes, Josephine tried, but not hard enough for Bubbles satisfaction. The smile on her sister's face faltered, but proved determined to stay on her face. Picking her mid-length jean skirt, Bubbles decided to wear her white Toms. Done with the outfit, Bubbles grudgingly made her way to her sister, sitting of the stool in front of her mirror. She watched as her sister quickly brushed her hair and pinned it up.

"Do you want me to help with your make up?" Josephine offered, staring a Bubbles' face in the reflection.

"No, Mom is probably ready to take you to school anyway." Bubbles stated, reaching for her concealer.

"She wouldn't mind giving you a ride. Or dad, he has room too. You don't have to ride that smelly bus."

"Well, I like the smelly bus!" Bubbles snapped. "Besides, I am meeting a new friend today at the stop along with Buttercup."

"So you did meet someone new?" Josephine asked excitedly, ignoring the first sentence. "Is it a boy or a girl?"

"What does it matter? You'll be asking the same thing tomorrow and then again the next day. Anything I tell you isn't important enough for you to remember. There's no point." Before Josephine could object, Bubbles got up. "I am going to use the bathroom, I would prefer if you weren't in my room when I'm done." She said, walking in the direction of the bathroom that was connected to her room. "Oh, and please shut my door on the way out."

That was the end of it as Bubbles closed her bathroom door behind her. Instantly she slid to the ground, curing into a tight ball. She listened intently, and only when she heard the footsteps leaving and the door closing, did she start to cry. She wept silently into her knees, telling herself that it was for the best. If she didn't keep her distance, she would get hurt. She did not know that while she was crying, her sister was doing the same.

"Earth to Bubbles." Buttercup called, snapping her fingers in Bubbles face. She blinked several times, trying to regain focus to the present time. She peered around the lunch table. Boomer was seated across her, besides Blossom. Buttercup was to her right, Butch next to her. Brick was across him and besides Blossom. All of their eyes were trained on her. Two sets were full of questions, another two sets were full of concern, but only one had an emotion that Bubbles could not determined.

"Are you okay?" Blossom asked in a soothing voice. Bubbles gave Buttercup a side-ways glance. Knowing that the confused face she held was just an act. Buttercup knew. Bubbles knew she did. Some how. Some way. Buttercup always knew.

Bubbles nodded and looked back down at her food. She had gotten a ceaser salad today, figuring she should start eating healthier. It would certainly make her mother proud. She scooted some crotons around, showing her distaste. She felt a hand on her back, knowing that it was Buttercup. Resting her head on her shoulder, Buttercup leaned slightly to her ear.

"You can tell me later, but acting like your depressed isn't going to stop them from asking for themselves." Bubbles nodded and then put on her brightest smile as she faced in the direction of Butch and Brick.

"So you guys are going to start schooling here?"

Everyone knew what the blonde was trying to do, and decided for her sake (and for the fact Buttercup had a look to kill if they didn't) to play along. Brick nodded and looked at Blossom, his eyes full of affection.

"Yep, we will be seeing each other a lot. I hope this means we can further our friendships." Brick stated. Butch agreed instantly looking in Buttercup's direction. Both girls rolled their eyes.

"I doubt it highly." Blossom answered, scooting closer to Boomer.

"I couldn't agree more." Buttercup said, scooting closer to Bubbles. The two blondes smiled and tried not to laugh at the two love struck boys.

The group had not noticed the up coming danger until, Princess slammed her tray onto the table, making all six of them jump. When seeing it was her, however, Buttercup instantly puffed up. Her teeth barred as she managed to let out a deep growl. Butch tried to ignore the shiver that went down his back from the sound.

"What do you want, Whorebucks?" Buttercup asked menacingly.

"Oh Can it, Dyke. I am not here for you." Princess' dark eyes than shifted to Blossom. They turned into thin slits as she balled up her fists to the side. To make it worst, Brick was the one who stood. Not only did he stand, but he was standing next to where Blossom was sitting. He was defending her yet again. "You whore!" She screeched. This gained the attention of the cafeteria.

At the the insult, Buttercup and Boomer stood as well to defend their friend. Buttercup for the fact that she was tired of Princess' shit. Boomer stood because he would be damned if anyone as corrupted as Princess would insult his friend. He was not the fighting type and did not believe in hitting women, but he was willing to go against it just for Blossom.

Instead of standing up, Bubbles shifted her attention to the red-head across the table. She was silent. Her facial expression masked any emotion that she held within her. Blossom even seemed out of focus some how. As if she was remembering something awful.

Buttercup had started yelling, trying to pounce her. Butch, however, held her back from doing so. As much as he felt that he should just let Buttercup go and let her beat the shit out of Princess, he just felt that this wasn't the right time. His eyes also seemed to gaze over to Blossom. She was staring straight at Princess and yet she was disconnected from the world. He began to wonder if she even could hear Buttercup screaming.

"You are a home-wrecking slut!" Princess yelled, completely ignoring Buttercup and the boys. Her eyes were on Blossom. Nothing else mattered but her. "If you think you had it bad at your other school, you best believe I will make your life here a thousand times worst. I bet everyone would love to here about the days of Topsail's Witch."

That was when Blossom finally reacted. Her head snapped to attention. Light pink eyes began to widen as the became full of tears. Her body began trembling. She began to feel a painful stab into her heart. Princess' words were the only thing that she could hear.

"Princess! Leave her alone! She didn't do anything to you. You have no right to do this to her." Brick yelled. Princess glared in his direction.

"She took you away from me!"

"He wasn't yours to begin with, you stupid slut!" Boomer yelled. Many people gasped. Princess was taken aback. She had never heard him speak. Then her anger started to grow. She had been around the boys since they were in the first year of Middle school. Not once had Boomer spoken to her. Not once did Butch sit down at her table. Not a single time did Brick stand up for her. And yet, Blossom had been here a DAY and all of those things have happened.

What made her so special!

Just then, Princess screamed. Not like she would when she was yelling at anyone. Not a scream like when she didn't get what she wanted. This scream was in pure anger. Pure hatred. Anyone near her, flinched and instantly covered their ears. And just like that, she ran out of the cafeteria.

Everyone was silent. No one moved. They all just stared at the door that Princess had run out of.

"I hate you." Blossom whispered. Five pairs of eyes looked at her. Her eyes, however, were one person. Brick. "I hate you!" She yelled. "I told you to leave me alone! I told you to just leave me be. But no! You wouldn't listen. You just continued bothering me, when I told you I don't like you!" Blossom then stood. Boomer stood, prepared to follow her. Blossom just gave him a stern glare. "No Boomer. I will talk to you later, but right now I just want to be alone."

Boomer nodded and sat quietly. His eyes focused on his food, which at this moment didn't look so good.

Brick was torn. He wanted to find Princess and yell at her, but what would that do? He wanted to chase after Blossom, to kiss her, to hold her, to make all of her pain go away. But, she hated him. She would just push him away. Right now, at this instant, Brick didn't know what to do.

The five teens sat in silence. A few people chanced glances in their direction, wondering what had just happened. No one knew what to do. It all had happened so fast. What could they have done? Buttercup slammed her fist on the table, and snarled. Standing she headed in the direction where Blossom had left.

"She said she wanted to be alone." Boomer called, sadly. He was still hurt that Blossom would not let him follow. He wanted to be there for her just as she was there for him. Buttercup looked behind her shoulder.

"No one wants to be alone." And with that she left the cafeteria. Again the silence gave in. Smothering the four left. Bubbles looked up at Brick, who was just staring at his plate. His eyes barely blinked. His mouth formed a thin line across his face. So many emotions-dreadful emotions swam in his deep red orbs.

Bubbles knew that look. Pure sorrow. Unbelievable sadness. She had felt that many times. One being that morning. She didn't like seeing it on someone's face.

Without saying a word, Bubbles stood and moved over to Brick. She ignored the stares she was receiving from his brothers. She sat next to him, wondering if he even noticed. Hesitantly, she put a comforting hand on his back. Brick flinched from the contact, and stared at her in shock.

"She didn't mean it." Bubbles spoke. Brick hung his head.

"Of course she meant it. Didn't you see the look she gave me?"

"Yes I did. The look she gave was from fear." Bubbles tried to explained.

"I don't know, Goldy Locks. She looked really pissed." Butch added on, not really thinking. He quickly became quiet when he saw the look he was receiving from Boomer and Bubbles. Brick moved his tray away, and placed his head on the table.

"It was fear. Yes, anger was the emotion she was letting off, but it was her fear that ignited it. People do and say things that do not mean when they are afraid." Bubbles said. Her words became soft, as she started to fade into her sentence. "It's like backing an animal into a corner. They will bite, and scratch, even though they could be the sweetest things."

Brick's head rose slowly, and looked to her. All three boys looked at her with concerning expression. Noticing the looks, Bubbles cleared her throat and smiled at them. She then focused her gaze back on Brick.

"You should go find her. Talk to her, but instead of throwing your romantic feelings at her, show her you will be her friend first."

Brick nodded, and then smiled at the blonde.

"Yeah. You're right. I will just be her ear and shoulder. She needs to know that I don't just want to be her boyfriend, I want to be her best friend, her protector, her listener."

"Whipped." Butch mumbled under his breath. Boomer heard this and rolled his eyes.

Bubbles smiled and nodded her head. Brick stood and ran out.

"No one wants to be alone." Bubbles repeated Buttercup's words. "So stop fooling yourself."

"What was that?" Boomer asked. Bubbles smiled brightly at him.

"Oh nothing. Say, how about us three go to the patio. I'm sure Buttercup will bring Blossom and Brick back there. Plus, I can give you a slight tour around." Boomer nodded.

"Yeah, sure." Butch agreed. "Can we possibly start at the football field. I have some signing up to do."

"Blossom!" Buttercup yelled, in search for the pink-eyed girl. Buttercup looked around the empty halls. There was no sign of anyone around. She stopped and started to think. "Where is the place she would go if she wanted to be alone?" There were many places that people could go if they wanted to truly be alone.

Blossom, however, didn't want to be alone. She was too scared to be alone. An idea dawned on Buttercup. She quickly made her way upstairs. As she neared her destination, she could hear the voice of Blossom and of her father. Buttercup leaned on the doorway of their science classroom and stared at the girl before her.

"So if I carry this too over here, the equation will be become a completely different compound?" Blossom asked, jotting down the notes in her notepad.

"Yes, I was actually going to start a lesson on this next week. It's going to be a Pre-Chemistry lesson." The Professor stated. "I will answer more questions then, okay?" The Professor's eyes looked up, and he smiled. "Hello, Sweetheart. Can I help you?"

Pink and light green eyes met. Worry met defiance.

Buttercup shook her head, and smiled.

"Nah, I was just looking for Blossom. She just disappeared. I got worried." Blossom head hung in embarrassment.

"I'm sorry. I saw her in the hall, standing in front of the door. She said she had some atomic mass questions, and then it just evolved to general Chemistry." The Professor chuckled.

"they were questions that haunted me from my old school."

"Haunted? That's an interesting choice of words." Buttercup stated. Blossom became quiet and just stared at the ravenette.

"Is something wrong?" The Professor asked, looking between his daughter and his new student.

"Everything's great. Just a few complications we need to work out."

"Oh, well. I have some papers I need to print off, feel free to chat in here."

"Will do." Buttercup's eyes never left Blossom's as her father left the room.

"I told you I wanted to be alone." Blossom tried to say strongly, but it came out like a meek whisper.

"But you weren't alone. You with my dad, a Teacher. Is that how you cope? You drown yourself in your studies?" Blossom didn't answer. "You can't be alone. No matter how much you think you are, you will never be alone. I don't care what all those people said about you back there in Topsail. You belong with us now."

"I don't think you understand." Blossom stated.

"No, I completely understand. Before Bubbles, I made no effort to become friends with anyone. It was my dad and I. That was it. I didn't have a mom. But my dad tried. So that's all I needed to be content. Then, Bubbles forced herself into my life, so then I had two people. That made my life happy. Now look, I have you, and somehow, we got the Jojo brothers. So, why are you still dreading the past."

"Because- I don't know. I just can't let it go." Blossom started to cry. Buttercup moved quickly over to her and wrapped her arms around her. "It's like if I let it go, I will lose a big part of myself. Then I will be lost."

"Then, let us find you. Don't hide." Buttercup soothed. "Don't hide from us."

Buttercup and Blossom just sat there in the quiet classroom. Buttercup just comforted her and spoke soft words into her hair.

Neither noticed Brick, who stood in the doorway. He just watched the sad scene.

He made a promise to himself just then, as he watched the two girls. He will be Blossom's best friend, and he will never let her feel alone ever again. He knew it seemed like an impossible task, but for her Brick would do anything.

I tried to make this a long chapter for you guys. I hope you liked, please review. I will answer next chapter. Have a great day!
