Sick Day
Rose slowly entered the kitchen wrapped tightly up in a warm fuzzy robe with slippers and socks, her blonde hair dissolved from her sleep. But what stuck out was her pale face and red nose. She covered her mouth and coughed as she slowly made her way to the counter to fix herself a cup of tea.
"Rose, where do you want to go today? I mean New Earth, it could have turned out better. Oh, I know we can go hiking or-" said the Doctor rambling off place but stopped when he saw Rose's place face. "Are you sick, love?"
Rose stuck her hand inside her robe pocket and pulled out a tissue and blew her nose. "No, I'm just coughing, achy and feel horrible. I feel fantastic." She said sarcastically. She leaned forward slightly onto the counter into a coughing fit.
"Come on, let's get you back into bed." said the Doctor wrapping his arm around her waist.
"But I just got out of bed." said Rose. "I want a cup of tea. Oh, my head is killing me." She rubbed her temples.
"Come on, now Doctor's orders. I'll get your tea. But first lets get you tucked in the bed."
"Ok," mumbled Rose as they made their way down the hall. "I still won't to go to bed."
The Doctor opened the bedroom door and helped Rose out of her robe. He touched her face gently and found she had a slight fever. She sat down on the bed and laid down, and the Doctor pulled the covers over her body.
"I'll be back with your tea. Try and rested," said the Doctor and left the room to fix two cups of tea.
Rose rolled over onto her side and let her tired eyes slowly close. She slowly fell back to sleep. She hate being sick. It now, meant missing out of adventures instead of missing other things.
The Doctor returned to the bedroom with to mugs of hot tea. He sat Rose's cup down on the bedside table. He looked down and saw her asleep curled with his pillow. He gently touched her slightly pale cheek. He kissed brow gently before left the bedroom leaving Rose to her slumber.

The Doctor laid on his back under the TARDIS's console fixing a few loose wires that had been shaken loose by their last landing. He twisted several wires and put them in the holes. He moved out from under the console when he heard slippers slide across the crate floor. He removed his reading glasses when Rose sat down in the captain's chair.
"What are you doing out of bed?" He asked.
"I'm lonely, and you're down here, and I'm up there. Can't we do something? You know I don't like being sick. Will you read to me?" asked Rose.
He put his glasses into his breast pocket and reached out his hand to Rose. She took it and they made their way to the library. Once they got settled on the couch. The Doctor pulled out his reading glass and slipped them onto his nose.
Rose moved over until she had her head resting on his shoulder. He leaned his head down and placed a lingering kiss on the top of her head. He opened an old Gallifreyan book of childhood fairytales.
Rose smiled, it had taken her the longest time to convince him to read her some of the old Gallifreyan stories. She knew it was still hard for him to speak of his home or his people. She told him it would get easer, even if it was to read old stories. That it might bring a small bit of closer to his hearts.
Rose covered her mouth her hand in hope to fight the sleep that threaten to take over. She didn't want to sleep. She wanted to hear another fairytale. The Time Lord looked down and smiled, when he saw Rose had fallen asleep in his arms. He closed the book and sat it down beside him. He picked up another book. He had been reading. A book of old Gallifreyan customs. He didn't care for them when he was in the Academy, but now that he had Rose, he wanted something that would last. He knew he wanted Rose Tyler in his life. It wasn't because she had came into his TARDIS those years ago, it was because he loved her.

It had taken three days for Rose to get over her cold. She stepped out of the shower with a bright smile. She was ready for another adventure. She quickly got dressed and made her way to the kitchen for a hot cup of tea.
Rose walked into the kitchen only to find the Doctor wrapped up in his robe, hair messier then normal, face pale and red nose. He drug his feet slowly to the table with a cup of tea. She couldn't help it, her lips curled up into a smile.
"Stop smiling. You gave me your cold." said the Doctor and dug for a tissue in his pocket. He coughed.
She walked over to the man and held out her hand. "Come on, let's get you to bed."
He groaned not wanting to go to bed. Rose wrapped her arm around the Doctor's waist and they went to the bedroom. Once they reached the room she tucked the Time Lord into the bed.
"We're washing the sheets very soon." said Rose. "As for now it's my turn to be the doctor."
