The 14 villains charged at our heroes, while Sonic and Shadow were smashing robots left and right. Tails used his arm cannon to fire at Jayne, but she dodged it. Knuckles beat her to a pulp, while being under attack by swarms of Black Arms, Iblis creatures, Nega robots, and Eggman robots. Knuckles went right for Eggman, flying and smashing his Eggmobile, sending Eggman flying to the ground.
"Very clever of you!" Eggman taunted, calling for his Chaos Buster suit. He put it on.
"Chaos Control!" Eggman shouted, freezing Knuckles in time. Eggman walked towards Knuckles, with a laser gun, ready to end his life.
"OH HO HO!" Eggman laughed. "READY TO DIE?" Before Eggman could pull the trigger, Silver, Blaze, Suna, Aurora, Fang, Jet, Wave, Storm, Marine, Mighty, and Ray came out of a portal created by Blaze. Joining Aurora were the SWORD forces, with black and grey suited human soldiers and red and black robots which were repainted versions of the GUN robots. Joining Blaze were the Sol Dimension Warriors, soldiers of the Sol Dimension who wore red armor and carried bolt action rifles. The White Aliens, or White Arms joined Aurora as well, and her mother, White Doom, who looked like a white Black Doom and had an Egyptian headdress in white and green and a white female head, led them.
"Soldiers, Attack!" White Doom said in a soothing female voice.
"All units engage the enemy forces!" Aurora ordered.
"Charge!" Blaze shouted. The heroic soldiers charged while GUN soldiers came out a portal created by Shadow.
"For the United Federation!" An elite GUN soldier chanted. While the heroic soldiers were fighting the villainous soldiers, Eggman was challenged by Amy, Cream, Rouge, Blaze, Marine, Wave, Suna, Aurora, and Tikal.
"Time to face girl power, Doctor Eggman!" Rouge taunted. Amy, Cream, and Wave made wind guts, forming a wind beam. Rouge made a darkness beam, Suna made a sand beam, Marine made a water beam, Aurora made an ice beam, and Tikal made a thunder beam, and the beams combined into one super beam, sending Eggman rolling around on the ground, while his Chaos suit was destroyed in the process.
"It's no use, take this!" Silver snapped, pushing Eggman with telekinesis, while Sonic and Shadow were going to finish him.
"Don't kill him Mister Sonic!" Cream spouted. "He may be evil but there is still good in him!"
"Silence, Cream!" Shadow barked. "He's evil and he's the enemy, so stay outta our way! In fact I got a better idea!" Shadow was clearly up to something.
"I don't know if I can pull this off, but I will give it a shot." Shadow used the seven Emeralds to amplify his power, took off his inhibitor rings, and snapped his fingers. All the villains from Zavok to Black Doom, and even the robots were turning to dust.
"Cubot, I don't feel so good..." Orbot said to Cubot. Both robots turned to dust, vanishing away.
"NO WAY, I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS!!" Eggman screamed at the top of his lungs, seeing his own inventions and his own empire turn to dust before his eyes. Eggman turned to dust himself, disintegrating into sand particles. The particles blew away in the wind.
However, Shadow was not ok, because his heroic act resulted in his eventual death.
"Shadow, are you ok?" Sonic asked.
"I made a promise I intended to keep, and I fulfilled that promise. There is no longer a need for me anymore." Shadow's eyes closed, and he was officially dead.
Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Rouge, and everyone was in tears rolling down from their eyes. They were mourning someone who had been in their life since the Adventure days.
It was a sad day at Shadow's funeral. Everyone was dressed in black attire, mourning the loss of the black hedgehog. The Shadow Memorial statue was built off the coast of Westopolis, where the funeral was held. Shadow's coffin was cast away on the ocean, and burned by Blaze's fire arrow.
"Rouge, I am hungry." Cream said. "I want some chocolate!"
"Oh how Shadow used to love chocolate." Rouge told Cream sadly. "I will get you some."
At the GUN base in Savanna Falls, Big and Rouge stood in front of a waterfall which was the entrance to a GUN base.
"So, which one of us is going to be GUN commander?" Big asked.
"I would say yes, but I have other things planned." Rouge answered.
"Such as??" Big asked.
"My ride." The Babylon Rogues ship descended down on the savana, and Rouge boarded the ship.
"What do we have here, a fellow jewel thief!" Jet said, reacting to Rouge joining their team. "Where do you want us to go?"
"Doesn't matter, as long as I can get whatever a girl wants and needs!" Rouge remarked. The ship took off, headed for the skies.
Meanwhile, Sonic was back in his old home in South Island, relaxing in his hammock, enjoying nature.
"With Eggman gone, I guess it's time I stopped running." Sonic said to himself. "It's time I just sit back, relax and enjoy this nice world of ours, and forever be at peace." Sonic closed his eyes and fell asleep.
