Hey guys sorry it's been a while but here is a new chapter.
Chapter 10
Thalia's POV
This is just great. We finally capture someone who knows where Liz is and Maybeck knocked him out.
"Look I'm just saying you shouldn't have knocked him out," I yelled at Maybeck.
"Well sorry. He just pissed me off."
That's when Percy, Annabeth, Jason, Piper, Hazel, Leo, Travis, Amanda, Willa, Liv, Preston, and Jonas walked in.
"Hey guys. What happened to Jess? Why is Stosh knocked out?" Jonas asked.
"Jess got beaten by Stosh therefore Maybeck knock out Stosh," I said.
"And Stosh knows where Liz is," Macey added.
That's when I saw something cross Jonas's face that I had never seen before. Hatred and anger. And boy was it scary.
Jonas walked over to Stosh.
"Bex get me a bucket of ice water," Jonas said calmly. This scared me even more. I have never seen this side of Jonas.
Bex came back with a bucket of ice water and handed it to Jonas.
"Uh Jonas, what are you going to do with the bucket?" Charlene asked.
"Wake this up," he responded throwing the water and ice on Stosh.
"Uh…what the..?" Stosh stuttered, getting up.
"Alright I'll ask nicely once. Where is Liz?"
Stosh chuckled, "Go to hell, Anderson."
"Alright," Jonas said acting like he was going to walk away cocking his head to the side and shrugging a shoulder, "I asked nicely." And with that he turned putting his full force into a punch that nailed Stosh, breaking his nose.
"Next time it won't be the nose I break," I was the only one shocked by Jonas's behavior the rest of the group was, including the ones from Gallagher, "Now where is Liz?"
"Not here." Oooh Stosh is not the smartest.
Jonas started for the leg when the door opened. Jonas kept Stosh pinned against the wall.
Maddie's POV
We walked into the hotel room, after going to the hospital, to see the weirdest scene. Jess was lying on the couch with bruises on her and Jonas had some guy pinned to the wall with a broken nose.
"What the hell is going on here?" Cammie demanded.
"Yeah, what happened to Jess?" I asked.
"How do you know Jess?" a girl who had Jess's head in her lap asked.
"Uuummm… Jonas why do you have some guy pinned to the wall?" I asked dismissing the girl's question.
"He knows where Liz is and being a smartass. He's been working with Drew and Nick," Jonas answered.
"Oh ok. Proceed," Cammie said.
"Maddie what happened?" Preston asked.
"Drew found us. Josh is working with them, too. Drew shot her," Cammie seethed.
"What?!" some blonde, Macey, and Bex shouted.
"Yeah," I said not really sure how to respond.
"Hey Maddie, can you go put Matthew down for his nap?" Cammie asked.
"Sure," I responded, "Come on, little man nap time," I said picking him up and taking him to Cammie and Zach's room.
Cammie's POV
"What happened to Jess?" I asked Amanda Lockheart while we were waiting for my mom to come take Stosh to interrogation. Jonas knocked him out a bit ago.
"We thought Stosh just wanted to talk to Jess privately about their anniversary coming up, but he thought something was going on between her and Connor. Maybeck came barging in when he heard Jess telling Stosh to stop and pinned him to the wall," she said.
"Is she going to be ok?" I asked. Then Jess started to wake up.
"Hey Jessie, how are you feelin'?" Amanda Lockheart asked.
"Oh fantastic," she said sarcastically. Then she tried to sit up and took a sharp breath, "Okay not good.
"That's what you get for being sarcastic when asked a serious question," Amanda retorted.
That's when Maddie came back in.
"Jess!" she screamed running over to her and giving her a hug.
"H-hey kid. Not so hard. In pain here," Jess said.
"Sorry."
"It's alright." Amanda and I looked at each other then sent questioning looks at the two.
"What?" they said at the same time.
"How do you two know each other?" I asked.
"We were in the same foster home at one point," Jess said.
"Guys," I heard Percy say to the room, "Chiron said that only 3 of us can stay the rest have to go back to camp."
"Thalia, you're staying right?" Jonas asked.
"Yeah."
"Alright two more," Percy said.
"Connor and Travis," Jonas said, "We could use your tricks later on."
"Okay. The rest of us have to go."
There were a lot of "goodbyes" and "laters" going around. Then they left.
Five minutes later my mom came and took Stosh. After my mom left we continued talking and planning.
Jess's head started to lull. Oh no. This can't be good.
"Amanda. Pen. Paper," she said, Amanda found some quickly and Jess started to draw. It was Liz in a place with no windows but a familiar design.
"Oh my gosh," Maddie, Bex, Macey, Amanda Morgan, and I said at the same time.
"It's Gallagher," I said.
"So who's ready to go to Virginia?" Bex asked.
Bex's POV
Great another plane ride. I wonder where Grant is.
Just then there was a knock on the door.
"I'll get it," Amanda Morgan said.
There was no one there, but a note was on the door.
"What does it say?" Jess asks.
Amanda Morgan just stared at the paper not able to say anything.
"Do you want me to?" Amanda Lockheart asked.
I wonder what's on that note that Amanda couldn't say.
Amanda Lockheart looked at it and took a deep breath.
"They have Philby, Grant, Zach and…Finn," she said.
What?! I ran to the bathroom and threw up. Great!
"Can I see that?" Macey asked.
"Sure," Amanda said handing her the note.
"They are getting cocky listen to this. You all are getting sloppy. You probably realized you're missing some people. But don't worry Finn, Philby, Grant and Zach are here in Virginia with Liz. Signed Drew, Nick and Josh," Macey read.
"UGH! Why can't this be over? I'm tired of it!" Cammie burst.
"Well Preston went with the group from Camp Half Blood because of campaigning, but we should be able to fit on one. We can leave when everyone gets packed," Macey said.
(On the plane)
Charlene's POV
Cammie, Bex, Macey, and Amanda Morgan were huddled around a laptop.
"You all should rest," I told Bex, Macey and Cammie, "Amanda can do this on her own, right?"
"Yeah and easier without 3 heads over my shoulder," she replied.
"Let's let the 3 tech people do their stuff," I said talking about Amanda, Willa and Maybeck.
"You need to rest too," Macey told me.
"I know. I'm going to," I replied.
"Good cause you're farther along than either of us and are showing. If I have to rest so do you," Bex said.
"Alright I'm going to join Matthew for his nap," Cammie said going over to where Matthew is.
(An hour later)
It's fun talking with Jess, Amanda Lockheart and Maddie. Maddie had a really shitty life growing up.
"Alright I'm going to sleep," Maddie said getting up.
"Where are you going?" Jess asked.
"To use Cammie as a pillow," she replied and we laughed a bit.
Maddie made it over there and started to lie down when Cammie woke up slightly at the contact.
"What's up, kiddo?" she asked.
"Um… I was actually going to use you as a pillow," Maddie said hesitantly.
Cammie looked at her for a nanosecond before she said, "Okay."
Amanda, Jess and I started talking again.
"So where did you meet Maddie?" I asked Jess.
"We were in a couple homes together. The last one we were at together was the one where Amanda and I met, but Maddie ran away the week before Amanda showed up. She's just a kid and a great one at that. She doesn't deserve the way she grew up," Jess responded.
Amanda Morgan walked over saying, "Cammie's going to wind up adopting Maddie. Just look at them."
"If anyone was going to adopt her I'm glad it's Cammie. She really likes Cammie."
"Not to mention they are two peas in a pod," I said.
"Yeah. Maddie needs a home. She shouldn't be in the foster system," Jess said.
"Amanda, what is it? You know something?" Amanda Lockheart said.
Amanda did look like she knew something she wasn't telling us.
"It's about Maddie. While we were looking up stuff about her we found out who her parent are," Amanda responded.
"What?!" Jess practically screamed.
"Shhh. We didn't want to tell either of them because of who they are. You all can't tell her." Wait either of them?
"What's going on?" Macey asked while walking up with Bex, Jonas and Thalia. Conor and Travis were asleep.
"Amanda knows who Maddie's parents are," I said.
"Yeah, so?" Jonas asked. He looked bad. Not that I can blame him.
"So? Who are they?" Jess whisper yelled.
Jess's POV
I can't believe they didn't say that they knew who Maddie's parents are.
"It wasn't so much the mom it's the dad we don't want to say," Bex said.
"It was on a mission, his job was to infiltrate a mob and part of doing so was dating the boss's daughter, Kelly. Well one drunk and stupid night they went a little too crazy and far. His mission ended a week later. He didn't know about the baby and I guess Kelly didn't want the baby and gave it up for adoption," Jonas explained.
"Wait Maddie's father is Zach?!" Charlene asked.
What?!
"How did you know?" Macey asked.
"How did she know what?" Maddie asked. Oh shit!
