All of Helix began the preparations for the ball. The winx were just as busy. Between makeup, hair, nails, and picking out the perfect shoes, they barely had time to breath. The Royal Pixie Messanger came by with invitations for all of the girls. They dawned their gowns and masks and headed out to limo Stella had waiting for them. But not before being stopped by the witches themselves.

"And where do you pixies dorks think you are going?" Icy asked in her usual annoyed tone.

"We are going to a party. My daddy is hosting it. And guess who isn't invited," Stella teased lightly with a smirk.

"Well, you pixies better not be going to the ball. Why would the prince want you there." Darcy taunted.

"Whatever Trix. We have a party to go to, and you are not invited so do me a favor and disappear." Bloom said as they walked outside and got inside of Stella's limo that she owned.

The Trix scoffed softly and used their magic to have a peek at what the girls were doing. An image of the invitation to the Royal Ball at the palace appeared, causing an angry snarl to escape their throats.

"Those pixies lied to us! They are going to the ball!" Icy angrily screamed while freezing the wall out of frustration.

"Agh! Why would Heila want those pixies at the ball? They are nothing more than goody goody fairies with overgrown egos,"

"I have an idea."

"Do tell Darcy."

"Well, we could go to Diaspor and tell her about what her fiancée to be is really up to."

"Wonderful idea. She could blow up like a volcano and kill them all."

"It would be glorious Stormy; so glad I thought of it."

Darcy sighed in annoyance while they transformed. They flew to the palace and set off to look for Diaspor.

The winx arrived at the ball and flashed their royal invitations to the guards. They went inside, and Flora got a funny feeling in her stomach as they entered. She could hear a voice in the room calling to her. Part of her wanted to follow the voice, but she was faced with the horn sounding. She and the girls stood at the bottom of the stairs for the Royal family being called.

"His royal majesty King Leon of Helix and our beloved queen Laura!" the king and queen walked down the stairs to their seats.

"Our prince, Heila!" he walked out wearing a blue suit and light blue cape and walked to his seat beside his mother.

The king stood, and the crowd soon settled.

"Today we are here celebrating my son's engagement to Princess Diaspor. Please enjoy your evening."

The party continued, and Heila came down to look for his real princess. He found her wearing an elegant pink gown with purple flowers around the puff of the dress. Her honeycomb hair was flowing behind her and a simple light violet headpiece with a gem. He came up behind her and held her waist.

"Now you are the most, beautiful princess in this room."

"Why t-thank you, your majesty" she strutted while he moved her hair to her shoulder to kiss her neck.

"May I have the honor of this dance?"

"Of course," she took his hand and allowed to be taken to the middle of the room.

They swayed gently to the music, the world disappears. All that matter was her smooth hand inside of his. His strong arms wrapped around her waist. Nothing to them mattered anymore. They had each other now. They didn't notice the eyes staring at them, or the glares of jealously princesses and servants and event he confused look of his father and Diaspor. They danced for what felt like an entirely, gazing into each other's eyes with pure love and devotion. When the song changed, she pulled away, but Heila grabbed her into a hug.

"I am going to make an announcement tonight. I hope it makes you happy my flower."

"As long as it is a good one."

"The best one of the night. Go and enjoy the night with your friends. I'll be watching you."

They separated, he quickly kissed her hand before they walked away. The reddest of blushes glazed her cheeks while the girls started to ramble about how cute they look. The guys took their girls by the hand and started to dance with them. Flora went wandering around until she found the garden. It was the most beautiful garden in the world. The beautiful reds and pinks and blues to the fresh grass lightly covered in dew, it made her fall in love with Mother Nature even more. She slowly strode to the cobblestone bench and stared at the garden. Flora started to softly hum while she stroked the petals of the lily gently.

"If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense

Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't

And contrary wise, everything what it is, it wouldn't be

And what it wouldn't be, it would

Cats and rabbits would reside in fancy little houses

And be dressed in shoes and hats and trousers

In a world of my own

All the flowers would have very extra special powers

They would sit and talk to me for hours

When I'm lonely in a world of my own

There'd be no birds, lots of nice and friendly howdy-do birds

Everyone would have a dozen bluebirds" her voice just trailed off, not knowing she had an audience.

Her secret audience were the Trix following her. They made their way to see a jealous Diaspor ranting on in front of the mirror. She jumped in surprise to see the Trix behind her.

"What do you want?" she asked whipping around to see them.

"We just wanted to congratulate the princess for her big royal ball," Icy taunted.

"It's not every day you get married to a royal prince," Darcy added.

"Especially to Prince Heila. Too bad he's in love with our dear cousin Flora," Stormy smirked at her.

"What!? He would never, not her, not the little weakling."

"It's sadly true. But we can help you out with that. All you need to do is make sure that she drinks this," Icy held a shard shape vial. "Once she does, poof, she sleeps forever."

"Nothing would and will ever wake her up. She would simply be sleep."

"No more flower child to stand in the way of your happily ever after."

"And out of our hair."

"And all you have to do is slip this into her drink," she held the slender bottle by its neck.

"Fine," Diaspor snatched the bottle out of her hand, "if it gets the throne out of my side I'll do anything."

"Perfect," Icy smirked softly.

"Enjoy your ball, princess," with those words the Trix flew out through the balcony, leaving a crackling laughter behind them.

They quickly changed their outfits royal white, magenta, and silver gowns and headed inside to watch the mayhem unfold.
