Drink, Drugs and Snapped Neck
Stefan and Elena have gone to her parents lake house, and Damon is hosting a dinner party that I have to attend. You would think I have nothing better to do than sit around a table with that Elijah dude, John Gilbert, Ric, Jenna, Damon and Andie - Damon's latest conquest - listening to them all chat shit!
"What's going on?" I ask as I walk in on Damon and Ric, both of them talking in hushed tones.
"None of your business," Damon says, pointing towards the kitchen. "Go and check on dinner."
"No way! Who do you think I am?" I question him, falling into the nearest chair.
"I think you're a little brat who is about to get an ass whooping if she doesn't do as she is told!" He retorts.
"Oh my God!" I exclaim, getting out of the chair and stomping towards the kitchen. "Why do you always have to play the spanking card?"
"Just go. Now." He commands, ending the conversation.
The doorbell rings as soon as I step into the kitchen.
"I'LL GET IT..." I yell as I run to the front door. I'd do anything to escape chef duties, even play butler.
John Gilbert's smug face is smiling at me as I open the door.
"Oh, its you." I take a step back, away from the door, to give him extra room to enter the house.
"It's good to see you too, Sophia." God I hate this dude!
"Yeah, whatever! The girls are in there." I gesture to the living-room where Jenna and Andie are conversing. I would've sent him to the study, to Damon and Ric, but I'm sure they hate him as much as I do.
I sneak off to my room, rather than going to Damon and having more duties put on my plate. Putting Deadmau5 - Gerard way, on half volume, I fix my makeup before having a dance around my bed.
Hearing a knock on my door, I turn the music down until it is just background noise.
"Who is it?" I ask the closed door. I already know it isn't Damon, as he wouldn't have knocked!
"It's me," Ric says, opening it and walking in.
"Hey! What's up?" I ask him.
"Damon wants you to come downstairs." He tells me.
"Does he now? Well, tell him I'll be down in a bit," I say whilst turning my back on him.
"Sophia, he wants you to come down, now!" His voice taking on a tone of authority.
"Yeah, no. Tell him to suck on my big toe! I will be down when I am good and ready, got it?" I reply, turning my music up louder than it was, and taking a seat at my dressing table, applying yet another layer of lip gloss.
Ric wastes no time in walking over to me and lifting me right out of my chair. Damn he's strong for a human.
"What-what are you doing?" I ask, confused and insulted by his intrusion of my personal space.
"I'm saving you from getting in to trouble with your brother!" He states, carrying me to the top of the stairs before dropping me to my feet.
"Awww. My knight in shining armour..." I laugh at my joke. "You know, I'm not really bothered as I am sure I will get in to trouble at some point this evening - I might as well start now." I once again laugh.
"Just get down the stairs before I spank you myself!" He threatens in a joking tone.
"Sir, yes sir!" I salute him and give him a wink with a smirk before stomping down the stairs.
"Sophia Salvatore, at your service." I announce with a courtesy, as I walk in to the living-room.
Damon gives me a 'don't take the piss' look whilst everyone else sports an amused one.
"Soph..." Damon is cut off by the door bell.
"I'll get it..." I have a feeling of déjà vu as I escape Damon's glare.
Opening the door, the first thing I notice is the suit.
"Ah, Elijah!"
"Good evening, Sophia! Is your brother home?" Wow, he is such a stiff!
"Yep. He's through there," I say, pointing my thumb like a hitchhiker, motioning to where everyone is gathered.
"Thank you!" He says as he walks passed me.
"Um, you're welcome!" I close the door behind him.
After all the pleasantries are out of the way, we head to the dining-room to eat dinner. We all take a seat, I opt for one furthest away from Damon, and wait for him to bring in the food. Jenna and Ric are helping him.
I sneakily pull out my phone under the table as Damon hates me "playing" with my phone when I'm supposed to be eating, because he says it's rude! Hmmmm whatever! I'm just about to text Stefan when I hear the door separating the kitchen and dining-room open. I immediately drop my phone on to my lap and look towards the oncoming plates of food.
I eat my dinner - silently cursing Stefan for leaving me in this predicament, and scroll through Facebook - secretly of course - when I am interrupted by Damon's rather loud voice shouting my name.
"SOPHIA!"
"Huh? What?" I look up from my phone to see everyone staring at me. "What are you all looking at?"
"Phone..." Damon says, holding out his hand.
"What? Why?" I close my app and lock the screen as I ask.
"Phone. Now." He repeats, ignoring me. I roll my eyes before throwing it across the table at him. He catches it without even looking.
I know I am in trouble, and if wasn't for the fact we have company, I would be getting punished right now. I look at Ric and raise my eyebrows at him, wordlessly saying 'I told you so'. He just shakes his head from side to side, a disapproving look marring his handsome face.
I yawn my way through the rest of dinner, daydreaming about a time when Damon wasn't around and it was just me and Stefan.
As soon as everyone has finished eating, I attempt to get back in to Damon's good graces by helping to clear the table. Damon and Elijah wander off to another part of the house, whilst Jenna, Andie and I clear the plates and prepare dessert. Jenna tells us that it's going to take longer than expected, so I return to the dining table until it is nearly ready.
Elijah once again takes his seat, as does Damon, John and Andie. For the first time tonight, the topic of conversation - the witch massacre - intrigues me. I listen intently up until the point where Elijah threatens to kill everyone if things don't go according to his plan. I scoff out loud, making everyone who is present, turn their gazes towards me.
"Um... sorry! I, er... dust. Yeah, dust." I lie.
Andie gets the attention away from me by asking Elijah if she could ask him some questions. Thank you Andie! As he agrees, Andie asks Ric to fetch her note pad from out of her bag. He complies.
I didn't see what happened next - as I was picking the chipped nail varnish off of my thumb nail - but I heard it. The sound of Elijah almost screaming had my full attention. As I focus my eyes on him, I see him turn grey and veiny with a dagger protruding out of his chest. Ric was behind him so it obvious that it was he who daggered him.
"Holy shit, Ric... you killed him. You actually killed him!" I exclaim, shocked by what has just transpired.
"Now get rid of him before Jenna gets back with dessert!" He commands of Damon. He does as he is told, and carries a lifeless Elijah down to the basement.
I sit frozen to my seat, hating the fact that I have just watched Elijah's life drain out of him. I hate seeing death - even if it is the man who has just threatened all of our lives. As soon as I come to my senses, I bolt for the front door, mildly aware of Ric calling after me as I leave the house and run to the Grill as fast as my vamp speed will take me.
A few hours had passed before I decided to head home. As soon as I walk in the door - I wish I hadn't!
"Where the hell have you been?" Damon's furious voice bellows at me.
"The Grill. Why?" I ask him in a nonchalant tone.
"I have been ringing you for over an hour. Why didn't you pick up? You must have heard me ringing you!" He says in an accusatory tone.
"Actually, Brother, there is two things wrong with what you just said. Number one..." I hold my pointer finger up in front of us. "My phone is on silent, so I couldn't possibly hear it ring, even if I tried. And number two..." I bring up my middle finger to join my pointer one, "you took my phone off me, remember?"
I walk passed him, not even looking at him. I can mentally visualise the scowl he is pulling, so I don't have to actually see it to know it is there.
"Yes, well..." I keep on walking as he scrambles for something else to say.
Upon hearing Stefan's voice coming from the kitchen, curious as to why he is home, I open the door and see he is also with Elena.
"Why are you guys here? I thought you were both staying at the lake house?" I ask neither of them in particular.
"We had to bring Elijah back, so we had to cut our trip short."
"Wait a minute... what? Elijah is dead downstairs, I watched Ric kill him. How could you have brought him back?" I am completely confused right now.
Stefan and Elena share a fleeting look, and as I look at Elena, I notice how exhausted she looks. Stefan must notice it too as he looks back at her with a worried expression.
"Quick summary," he says as he walks over to Elena. "Ric daggered Elijah, the dagger was removed, Elijah came back to life, came to the lake house to take Elena, Elena stabbed herself to make Elijah give his word that no one was to be hurt, then she daggered him again. He is once again in the basement, with the dagger firmly in place."
Stefan looks at me, probably expecting a response, but I just stare at him, mouth slightly open, feeling even more confused than before.
"I'm going to take Elena to bed. If you need anything, ask Damon." Stefan leaves, pulling Elena along with him.
I follow him soon after, wanting to get a shower. I have tried to process what Stefan said, but I just don't get it. Damon has staked Elijah, Ric has daggered him, and finally Elena has daggered him. How is this dude not properly dead? I just don't get it!
As soon as I am all PJ'd up, I go in search of Damon. Maybe he can shed some light at this anomaly. As I'm looking, I hear a strange noise coming from the basement, so I creep down to investigate.
As I make my way down the stone steps, I hear a female voice, that sounds like Elena, speaking. Katherine. I rush in just in time to see Damon holding a flamethrower in her direction.
"You wouldn't..." Katherine says with a smug look on her face.
"Ooooh I would," Damon returns. An even more smug look on his face.
"Damon, be smart..." she tries to convince him not too, a worried look replacing the smug one.
"Give it to me, I'll do it!" I walk over to grab it off of Damon, only for him to swat my hand away. "Ow!"
It is only then that I notice Elijah's corpse laying on the floor, his suit all burnt.
"OMG! What are you doing?" I exclaim, rushing over to him. I put my hand on his stone-cold face.
"Get away from him, and get back upstairs." Damon orders me. I ignore him, transfixed by the fact Elijah has been able to withstand the fire and not been burnt to ash. "Now!"
Without any warning, Damon grabs a hold of my upper arm and roughly drags me away from Elijah and pushes me from the room. I stand still, staring at Damon.
"Go on, run along like a good girl." Katherine mocks me.
Damon turns towards her, "shut up, Katherine."
"Yeah, shut up, Katherine." I flip her the bird, knowing Damon can't see me, and grin at her before walking away.
I wait for Damon in the living-room.
"What is she even doing here? How is she out of the tomb?" I ask as soon as I see him.
"Apparently, when Ric daggered Elijah, his compulsion wore off so she was able to leave." He answers me, walking over to pour himself a glass of bourbon.
"Yeah, so what's she doing here? Why hasn't she run for the hills? More importantly, why are you allowing her to be here?" I question him, seriously pissed that she is in my house.
Damon drains his glass and pours another before answering me.
"I don't know why she is here or why she hasn't ran. And I haven't exactly said she could stay here - she just is. Plus, it's not like she has got anywhere else to go." He once again drains his glass of bourbon.
"So that's it then? You're just going to let her stay here?" I ask in disgust.
"For now." Is his only reply.
Anger takes over me before I can control it.
"You're such a dick!" I kick away the coffee table in front of me. "Why does that bitch have such a hold on you? You're like a love sick puppy, willing to do anything for a bit of affection off of her!"
"You have got until the count of three to get your ass up them stairs, or you will not like what happens next." He warns me, but right now, I couldn't care less if it results in me not being able to sit for a month. I am going to say what I have got to say, consequences be damned.
"No." I fold my arms over my chest.
"No?" He repeats, raising his eyebrows, looking shocked that his threat hadn't had its usual effect.
"I hate her and I don't want to live under the same roof as her. She has just admitted that she was willing to let you die, just so she could escape the tomb, and you're just going to let her stay here?" I shake my head in disbelief. "Just because you are willing to bend over and let her screw you up the ass, after everything she has done to us, doesn't mean that I will!"
After many, many years of seeing Damon's feral look, usually given to people other than me, I know I have pushed him too far. A sense of dread instantly washes over me. I manage to vamp up to the top step of the stairs before he catches up to me.
"Where do you think you're going?" He says in a tone that implies that he isn't mad, but his face says otherwise.
"Damon... I'm sorry, okay?" Right now I am beyond scared.
"Aww. You're sorry? Does that mean you haven't got anything else to say?" He does a sideways smirk as he takes a deliberately slow step towards me. "Because you sure as hell had a lot to say a few moments ago."
I shake my head no, whilst backing away from him.
"You know, three words you just said stand out to me. Bend, over, and ass." He instantly has me bent over the banister rail, my ass up in the air, my arms and legs dangling either side. I immediately grab hold of a couple of the rails, fearing that I will fall over. I know it wouldn't hurt if I fell, not much anyway, but I fear it anyway.
The pressure of his hand on the small of my back, pinning me in place, is harder than it needs to be then I hear his first smack before I feel it. Before I have a chance to react, more follow in quick succession.
I try my best not to show any sign that he is getting to me, but it's harder than you think. After around 50 swats, and still no tears from me, Damon decides to up his game.
My struggling really starts as I feel him yank down my PJ pants and wedgie my panties up the crack of my ass, effectively baring my ass ready for further onslaught. The difference in the sting of flesh on flesh is unbearable. The tears pour freely now, along with the sobs and begging and pleading for him to stop. My butt doesn't even feel like a butt anymore.
"Damoooon... pl-please... no-no more... I'm so so-sorry...!" My begging is pitiful, but I just can't help it.
Damon's only reply is to change him aim to the tops of my thighs and sit spots.
"AARRGGHH... Dam... OOOW! Ple... AAHH! Stooohohop..." I can barely breath, let alone speak right now.
He finally relents and stops my spanking, gently pulling me back over the banister and steadying me on my feet.
"Go to bed, and I'll come and check on you in a minute." I do as he says, bending down to pick up my PJ pants I had earlier kicked off, choosing to leave them off and just walk to my room with my cherry red ass on show.
I sneak a fleeting look at Damon's retreating form as he walks down the stairs, and I catch sight of Katherine smiling like the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland, obviously amused by what she had just witnessed. I bite my tongue and keep walking.
Once in my room, I head straight for my ensuite, wanting to check out the damage. My bum feels like it has swollen to twice it's normal size. Upon inspection, it looks as bad as I had thought. I carefully de-wedgie my panties, stretching them as far away from my behind as possible, and carefully slide them off of me, before replacing them with a loose pair of pyjama bottoms.
Not long after, I hear footsteps heading towards my room. I quickly lay, face down, on my bed and pretend to be asleep. Seconds later, Damon enters my room.
"Sophia..." he waits a few seconds for me to answer. When I don't, he carries on with, "I know you're awake."
"No I'm not. I'm asleep." I counter, wanting him to just leave me alone. He chuckles before taking a seat on my bed next to me.
I let out a loud huff before turning round to face him.
"What do you want, Damon?" I ask, sounding less annoyed than I wanted to.
"I said I would come and check on you, so here I am... checking." He is so lame sometimes.
"Yeah, well you've checked so you can go now."
"Come on, Soph... don't be like that..."
"Don't be like what? You have just beat my butt raw, and you're letting 'IT' stay in our house, knowing how much damage she has caused our family... you know what, forget it. Just go."
Damon is silent for a moment, probably considering what I have just said, before finally saying something.
"I spanked your butt, not beat it, because you deserved it. Your language and disrespect more than warranted it. And I am allowing 'IT', as you called her, to stick around as she has information that I need. As soon as she has fulfilled her usefulness - she will be out on her ass."
I don't believe him, as I know how obsessed he is with her.
"Yeah, I'll believe it when I see it." I turn over to face the opposite way from him.
"Soph, trust me..."
"Right know, I trust you about as much as I trust her."
"Low blow, little sister. Low blow!" He sounds hurt. For a second, I feel bad. I never want to hurt him, or make him feel bad because I love the big oaf.
"I know. Sorry." I try to make him feel better.
Damon walks around my bed, stopping once he reaches the top where my head is.
"Goodnight, baby girl. Sweet dreams!" He kisses the top of my head before walking away, towards my bedroom door.
"Night, Damon."
The following morning, I am up before the crack of dawn. Mainly due to the fact that I was in bed sooo early last night. I have already showered, got dressed and ate my breakfast. I am back in my room, getting my school bag ready, when I hear a thudding sound downstairs. By the time I finish packing my bag, and leave my bedroom, I just about see Stefan vamping passed me and rushing into his room.
It takes me all of three seconds to drop my bag and follow after him. I make it there just in time to see Stefan slam Elena against the wall.
"What are you doing?" Elena asks him whilst he wraps his hand around her throat.
"How could you do this?" He demands, inching his face closer to hers.
"Stefan you're hurting me..."
"Stop it, Katherine," he roughly shoves her again just as Katherine appears at his bedroom door.
"Stop what?" She asks like she doesn't know what she has just caused. "It's getting really easy being you." She smirks at Elena as she leans against the door frame.
Damon appears behind her and he, Stefan and Elena all share a look.
"Oooooo shits going down..." I say, making Damon frown at me.
"You. School. Now." He snaps his fingers in my direction then points towards downstairs.
I roll my eyes and storm out of the room, deliberately knocking Katherine with my shoulder as I pass her.
"Hey!" She exclaims as I just keep on walking away.
The last few days have been a joke! Everyone is flapping over this Klaus guy. Damon is on a mission to save Elena - reading journal after journal to try and find some useful information and Stefan won't let her out of his sight. At least I have the decade dance to look forward too. Oh, and Katherine is finally gone. Yay! We think Klaus has her.
I have been searching through our family storage room, looking for the perfect outfit, for over an hour. Ugh! We are such pack rats! The theme of the dance is the 60's - I know... Lame! But it's a good excuse to dress up and dance the night away.
I find a multi-coloured dress with knee high boots that I once wore in the 60's and decide to wear them.
As soon as I am ready, I make my way to the living-room. Damon, Stefan, Ric, Elena and Bonnie are gathered talking over plans for the night. The topic of conversation? You guessed it - Klaus. Yawn!
As I approach them, Damon suddenly vamps at Bonnie. Amazingly, she throws him across the room without even flinching.
"Well I was impressed," Stefan says whilst smirking. Damon scrambles to his feet glaring at Bonnie.
"Yep, me too!" I agree. "Can you do it again?" I joke.
Sitting down on a wooden chair, I try to pick up on the conversation. Apparently, Klaus was at our school today and compelled some girl to ask Elena to "save him the last dance". If he wasn't wanting to kill her, and she wasn't dating my brother, I would think it was quite sweet, but...
Anyways, I have a plan of my own tonight. With this whole Klaus distraction, no one will be paying much attention to me. I have a bottle of Damon's good bourbon in my bag and Sarah has managed to get a hold of a fat bag of weed. Tonight is going to be epic!
The party is in full swing by the time we arrive. Everyone is dressed up in tacky clothes, but they all seem to be having a good time.
I spot Sarah and a few others waiting by the refreshments table.
"Right guys, I'm going. Have fun!" I attempt to walk away, but I'm dragged back.
"Remember, Klaus is here." Damon tells me. "Keep a look out and BE CAREFUL! Do you hear me?"
His grip on my arm is like a vice. He seems kinda scared?!
"Yeah, okay. Gotcha." I walk away feeling slightly nervous. It's not like Damon to worry. All of the stories being told about 'The Originals' must have really gotten to him.
It's been less than an hour since We arrived at the dance, and I'm already feeling the effects of the alcohol and weed cocktail. Loving the tipsy feeling that has consumed me, I can't help but laugh at everything and anything that is going on around me.
My friends and I are making our way back to the gym, after smoking another joint in one of the unlocked English classrooms, when I bump in to Rik - literally!
"Oh, er, hey, Rik... I mean, Alaric... I mean Saltzman-Mr... ugh! Whatever!" Everyone in my group are trying to stifle their giggles with little success. One look at their red, puffy faces, I join them.
Rik, strangely, has an amused look on his face as he waits for us to get ourselves under control.
"Have you been drinking, Sophia?" He asks, his right hand placed on his right hip.
"No! Have you been drinking?" I mimic his stance.
"No," a smirk graces his handsome face.
"Well, that makes a change!" A chorus of 'oooos' come from behind me.
Rik shakes his head at me.
"You kids have got until the count of 3 to get your butts in that hall, or you will all have detention everyday for a month! 1..."
We don't give him a chance to count any further. We all plough through the doors pushing passed one another. The only thing worse than school is detention after school! Whose brilliant idea was giving kids detention, anyway? I'd like to compel that donut to never suggest it!
I get no more than 15 feet through the door, when I come face to face with Stefan.
"Hey! Is everything okay?" He quickly asks, scanning his eyes over me as if he thought I was hurt.
"Yeah, I'm good," I place my hand in front of my mouth hoping the smell of alcohol or smoke won't reach his nostrils. "Where's Damon?" I need to know so I can go the exact opposite way. There is no way in hell I'd be able to hide anything from him if he gets up close and personal.
"I'm not sure, I'm trying to find him. I thought maybe you had seen him?"
"Me? No, not since we got here."
I am so pleased with how I am conducting my almost drunken self, Stefan hasn't got a clue that I have been drinking. This is why I prefer living with him, he is far less vigilant than Damon.
Walking back over to my friends, I have a strange feeling in my gut. No matter how much I dance, or many more drinks I consume, I can not shake the pit I have in my stomach. Giving in to it, I say goodbye to the guys and go in search of my brothers.
There is no sign of anyone. Not Stefan, Damon, Ric, Elena, Bonnie or even Jeremy. What is going on?
Deciding to leave the dance and just go home, I walk out of the school to a sight that devastates me.
"What have you done?" I ask Damon, fearing his answer, as I see him putting Bonnie in the trunk of his car.
"Shut up and get in the car, Soph," he ignores my question.
"WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER?" I scream, not caring if anyone heard me.
Again, Damon doesn't answer me. He quickly tries to usher me into his car, but I fight back, not wanting to go anywhere with him.
"Why...? Why did you do that to her? She was just 17 years old!" The tears start running freely from my eyes.
"I didn't do anything," he says through clenched teeth, "now get in the car."
"LIAR!" I once again scream. I can feel myself getting hysterical.
I shove Damon with all my strength, wanting him to get the hell away from me, and he falls to the floor with a loud thud. Unfortunately he is up again within a second, grabbing me and forcing me towards his car.
"NOOO! GET THE FUCK OFF OF ME, YOU MURDERER!" I scream, my arms and legs flaying everywhere. "HELP ME... STEF..." and then nothing.
I wake up on the sofa, back at the boarding house. I am all confused and my neck is really sore. It takes me a few minutes to remember what happened, but when I do, I am once again in hysterics.
Jumping to my feet, I scan the room for Damon and as soon as I see him, I lose it once again.
"YOU FUCKING BASTARD," I scream as I launch myself at him, knocking him to the floor. I continually swing at him as he tries to avoid my punches.
"SOPHIA, STOP!" Stefan shouts from behind me.
"NO! I HATE HIM!" I continue to punch him as I straddle his waist.
Feeling strong arms wrap around my waist, pulling me away from Damon, I hit out at him one last time with a kick to the face. His nose immediately pops, blood everywhere.
"Why did you stop me...?" I ask whilst trying to stop the sobs from escaping my mouth. "He killed Bonnie and snapped my neck!"
"He didn't," Stefan tries to calm me.
"Yes he fucking did! I saw her body!" I deflate in his arms. My body going limp as I give in to the sobbing.
"No he didn't, Bonnie is alive!" Stefan states, still holding on to me.
"Wh-what?"
Before I have a chance to understand what Stefan is telling me, I feel Damon wrench me away from him, practically lifting me up by my arm so I am standing on my tip-toes and start swatting my ass with ridiculously hard and fast smacks. No matter how much I twist and turn, or try to move away, the smacks keep hitting there target.
After umpteen swats, he releases my arm and I fall to the floor, landing on my very sore bottom. I hiss in pain and vamp to a standing position.
"Don't you EVER, do that again." Damon warns me, pointing a finger in my face. "Sit down, shut up and listen to what we have to say." Reluctantly, I obey.
My brothers fill me in on everything that happened at the dance - Klaus taking over Ric's body, trying to kill Bonnie by making her use all of her power and her using a spell to make it look like she had died. I am completely dumbfounded that all this went on at the same place I was and I didn't even know.
"So Bonnie is really alive?" Relief washes over me. It's not like Bonnie and I are best friends, but she doesn't deserve to die.
"Yes," Elena says, walking towards me carrying her laptop. "Here she is." She turns it around to face me, Bonnies face appearing on the screen.
Everything has calmed down now, but I'm still pretty pissed that Damon snapped my neck, I mean - what the hell?! I haven't spoke to him, preferring to act like he isn't even here.
Stefan and Elena go to bed as I go to retrieve a blood bag from the basement. When I return, it is only me and Damon in the living-room. I let out a long sigh before grabbing the TV remote and sitting down on the sofa.
"Er, I don't think so. Time for bed," Damon says, placing his drink down on the table and walking towards me.
"I'm not tired," is say, not even looking at him.
"Oh, my bad," he chuckles. "Did that sound like a question?" He snatches the remote from my hand, turning the TV off. "What I should've said is - get to bed, now!"
"What is wrong with you? First you snap my neck, then you think you have the right to boss me around?" He gives me a pained expression, before covering it with a stern one.
"Because I snapped your neck is the only reason why I am not taking a switch to your ass, right now."
"Huh?" I ask lamely, not understanding the reasoning behind his response.
"Don't act dumb, Sophia. You disobeyed me, got drunk, smoked and swore like a trooper."
Listening to Damon list my transgressions has me shocked.
"H-how did you know I was drinking and smoking?" It's a stupid question - I Know, but...
"You mean besides the fact that I could smell them on you? I know you, and you wouldn't have acted the way you did if you wasn't under the influence," he says, referring to my hysterics. "Now I suggest to go to bed before I change my mind!"
Knowing him, and how easily he could change his mind, I do just that. With a small nod of my head, I stand up and take myself to bed. I must have been tired after all, as not long after my head hit my pillow, I drifted off into the land of nod.
