Release Me
Chapter 09
It had been a few days since Vegeta brought the insentient woman back to the cabin home and had to resort to pre-chewing the food in order to help the re-feeding continue. The process took longer and there were times where the prince thought that she wouldn't make it through the night in her condition. He had thought of taking her back to Bulma and ensuring she got the nutrients that Goku needed another way, but he recalled the fear in Goku's eyes when she was in the capsule house. He knew if he had taken her back and if she snapped out of it while she was there, she would have gone ballistic.
Since that day, he had rarely taken her inside of the capsule house; only for a brief time, he did so in order to wash her body. She failed to respond to the running water, but then again, he knew if she had, she would have snapped at him again for possibly going against his word. After washing her, he checked on the wounds on her back and he noted that the scratches that littered her back were healing slower than average. From his experience, Vegeta knew her body was divided by the task of re-feeding and recovery.
Every time he left to hunt, he kept a constant watch on her chi which remained almost steady with the occasional dips; the latter being when she fell into a nightmare of some sort. He slept beside her every night and purred to ensure that she wasn't alone; yet, it seemed none of this was working. He resigned himself to tend to the female Saiya-jin despite lacking the knowledge of tending to one in her current state.
It had been almost two weeks later when Vegeta was awakened to a growl. His arms were empty and he sat up to see Goku active; however, the blank look was still in her eyes. It was almost though she had only partially awakened in order to defend herself from the intruder that attempted to intervene in what she wanted. He noted the low crouch that she had taken and knew this wasn't a normal fighting stance. Had she had any sense, she would have chosen a stance with more offensive properties, but he realized that she had emitted a musk; a sign that she was calling for the man Vegeta had long-since killed. If Vegeta ever told Goku that he killed Yamcha, then he would had lost any marginal trust he had with the Earth-raised Saiya-jin.
"Kakarrot…" Vegeta muttered softly, releasing musk from his tail to try to soothe the frayed instincts that flared wildly inside of her. The growl from her only deepened and he knew that she wanted nothing more than to find the man that Vegeta killed.
Without warning, Goku lunged at the Saiya-jin prince; knocking him to the ground and raised a claw-like hand to attack him. Vegeta quickly retaliated and grabbed her wrist before turning them over and pinned her to the ground under his body weight. She struggled while Vegeta focused on the telepathic link he had with her to bring the Earth-raised Saiya-jin to her senses.
'Kakarrot…' Vegeta spoke to her mentally. 'Snap out of it…'
'…you are… enemy… I belong to another… I have devoted myself to…' Goku's fragmented mind was torn in such a way that Vegeta wondered how she functioned after what transpired.
'You belong to me…' Vegeta called out to the female.
'Lies!' The mental voice practically hissed. 'If you truly own me, you would have long since proven it…'
'I do own you… you just choose not to believe or trust anyone…'
'Trust is such an easy thing to break… for all I know, you could be conspiring with Yanish to ensure that I am impregnated by the Destroyer…'
'The Destroyer would have taken you without your consent…' Vegeta argued mentally with the other Saiya-jin. 'I on the other hand wouldn't do it knowing you have been screwed with repeatedly…'
'Screwed repeatedly? That's an understatement…' Goku scoffed with doubt clearly written in her eyes. In a sense, they held more emotions than she tried to convey normally. 'You know nothing.'
'You're right, I don't…' Vegeta answered in return. 'But the Kakarrot I know wouldn't be acting like a bitch in heat right now…'
A growl escaped Goku's throat and she struggled beneath Vegeta. 'Just let me go so I can…'
'You can't even leave this fucking island let alone fly to whoever put you in your current condition.'
'I can if you just let me go!'
'Kakarrot I'm not an idiot… now hold still…' Vegeta grabbed both of her wrists in one hand while the other trailed down to where her stomach was. He felt the energy pooling beneath his hand; the very energy coiled where her womb was awaiting the creation of life. Sending his energy into the targeted area, she winced before her own energy was forcefully dispersed throughout her body again along with some of his own.
'What the hell did you do?' Goku questioned.
'The same thing I did the last time you were in heat: I used my energy to realign your natural energy to your body…' Vegeta explained. 'Now stop acting like a slut.'
A low whine escaped the female's throat. Her hazy eyes began to come into focus and awareness crept back into the Earth-raised Saiya-jin. Gasping for air akin to being underwater for a long period of time, she suddenly felt uneasy being in his presence; especially this close to him.
"…Vegeta?" Goku whispered softly. Her body demanded that she get away from him and fast, but she couldn't even move.
"About time you came back to your senses," Vegeta kept a firm hold on her body, but allowed her some room to breathe.
"W-what happened? Why do I feel so warm?" Goku questioned. She felt rather awkward in her current state and looked to the side so she wasn't looking directly at the other Saiya-jin..
"You were in heat again," Vegeta answered. "Somehow, you did this outside of the red moon and your chi had migrated to your womb…"
"Why didn't you just fuck me so I wouldn't have to deal with it anymore?"
"You wouldn't have let me; you kept calling out for the scar-faced bandit that made you go into heat unwillingly." Vegeta didn't like the idea that the Earth-raised Saiya-jin's former rival was convinced that he would stoop to Yanish's level and take the female unwillingly. The prince already had a mate and it wasn't with the only other Saiya-jin on this world sitting across from him. Goku would probably sooner castrate the Saiya-jin prince in her former condition before she would allow him access to her body.
"Y-Yamcha?" Goku stuttered before realizing in her hazy memories that he did come onto her rather uncomfortably, but… "Where is he?"
"He's gone," Vegeta replied; not wishing to pursue the topic any further. He did not want to disclose the fact that he killed the former desert bandit and hid part of the truth from her.
"Oh…" She fell silent and still seemed uneasy around Vegeta. "Why the hell were didn't you let him just screw me then?"
"You are bound to me Kakarrot," Vegeta reminded the female Saiya-jin.
"What the hell are you talking about?" Goku hissed in confusion. "You don't own me!"
"You owe your life, blood, body and soul to me since you have given me everything with your consent."
"You DON'T own me!" The female Saiya-jin practically yelled at him.
"I do Kakarrot, so you cannot die unless I order you to do so."
The female glared coldly at him. "Then let me die already!"
"I refuse," Vegeta proclaimed. He saw that she was shivering and pulled her closer to his form; their chests were touching by this point and she seemed uneasy. With what strength she could muster, she tried to push him away, but it was a futile effort due the fact that she was weaker. "Letting you die outside of battle would be a final act of dishonor you shouldn't have to go through Kakarrot."
"I have already died and gone to hell where I suffered Vegeta," Goku growled. "Dying hasn't brought back the person I once was and it's pointless to try."
"Are you still suffering from pain Kakarrot?" Vegeta questioned. "And I don't mean emotionally."
A pregnant silence filled the room. For a time, neither said anything. The only sound was her erratic breathing and uneven palpations from her heart. He felt her shivering against his powerful frame. The god-like being could destroy planets and snuff out a universe in due time, but he was incredibly gentle with the dark-haired woman in his grasp who seemed far removed from the person she used to be.
"N-no…" Goku answered. Her voice was almost that of a child, but the word itself held such a pain that it seemed there was more to it than she was letting on.
"Yanish took a lot from you, but I won't let him take what's left," Vegeta comforted her in what way he could.
"I hate you." Goku muttered against his chest; not bothering to look up at him. She felt tired and vulnerable that she didn't want to give him the satisfaction of having the upper hand.
Vegeta chuckled at her confession. "I believe the feeling is mutual."
"So Vegeta took her to an island?" Goten repeated the information that Bulma shared with the two half-breeds.
"Yes, Goku's been there for almost a month now and I hadn't heard from Vegeta for a couple of weeks now," Bulma explained. "I'm sure she's doing better."
"But you hadn't seen Vegeta in a couple of weeks," Gohan asserted. "I think we should go there and see how she's doing."
"I'm not sure that would be a good idea," Bulma confessed. "I found that one of the labs was raided recently and a valuable sample of pheromones was stolen."
"Who would steal pheromones from your lab?" Gohan asked.
"What are pheromones?" Goten innocently questioned.
"First off Goten, this isn't something you should be hearing," Bulma spoke with irritation in her voice. "As to who, I suspect it could have been Yamcha since he had been poking around here as of late."
"I suppose that makes sense, though I'm concerned about dad…" Gohan admitted. While his former father was now a woman, she still sired them both and he thought of her no different despite the changes she had to endure.
"I'm worried too Gohan, Goku's never had to deal with these things before and I'm starting to wonder if she'll ever be the same person we all used to know." Bulma walked to the window and looked out at the compound. There were still signs of the battle weeks ago in the areas of the building that had yet to be patched up. 'Goku, I hope you come back to us whole…'
"We're going to eat bear tonight," Vegeta suddenly commented.
"Bear? Why are we hunting a bear?" Goku questioned before looking at him in confusion.
"There are two reasons why we are hunting the bear tonight," Vegeta stated while looking at the large bear near the stream. "First, you still don't trust me…"
"No shit I don't trust you," Goku spat in an offended tone.
"…and the second is for you to get the proper nutrients after you spent twelve days out of it," Vegeta continued. "You won't do this alone Kakarrot, you need to start learning to accept that there are still people out there you can trust."
"I don't trust anyone period; not even after what happened to me," Goku sneered in anger before pushing forward. Vegeta followed in an attempt to prove the Earth-raised Saiya-jin that she needed to trust others again.
There was hardly a sound besides their breathing and the bear, sensing danger, raised its head at the two Saiya-jins that entered its territory. It growled a warning at them even when Goku drew closer at a quicker pace than the bear. Lunging suddenly, she rammed right into the upper torso of the bear with all of her body weight as it staggered backwards. It raised a paw at the female and was about to strike when Vegeta attacked from behind; snapping its neck in the process. It fell to the ground in a lifeless thud.
"I could have taken care of it myself!" Goku huffed angrily at Vegeta.
"No doubt you could Kakarrot, but this is about trust, not bravado." Vegeta countered. "Besides, I don't want you getting injured again!"
Goku glared coldly at the Saiya-jin prince and turned away. Her tail swung in frustration and Vegeta knew that he would be fighting a difficult battle trying to persuade her otherwise.
"I am taking this back to the camp," Vegeta lifted the bear on his shoulders. "Do as you like if you are still angry at me for interfering."
Footsteps were heard retreating and Goku found herself alone in the woods once more. She walked to the stream when she noticed her reflection in the almost picture-perfect stream of water in front of her. Batting at the water, she distorted the image; she hated herself and what she had come to represent in front of every man with a libido that couldn't be tamed unless it happened to be within her.
'Why am I so fucking weak? I used to be the strongest without question,' Goku vented her frustration mentally. 'Now, I feel I can't trust anyone, not even Vegeta…'
'Such a fiery spirit… I can't wait to break it…' a voice echoed in her head.
Grimacing, Goku walked into the stream; allowing the sound of the water splashing to help dismiss the voices before they started again. Right now, she didn't want to go back to where Vegeta was and continued to make sounds to keep herself distracted. Eventually, she sat down on a rock in the middle of the stream and started kicking the water; making waves without anything else to do.
The fire licked the bear's dead carcass and it was almost done cooking, but Goku had yet to return to eat. Vegeta was growing more concerned about the Earth-raised Saiya-jin since she had awoken from the coma-like condition she was in for a time. He decided to seek her out and drag her back if the circumstances happen to come down to it.
'Kakarrot, why the hell are you trying to run away? There's no one left to threaten you, not while I am around.' Vegeta mentally summarized.
He reached the stream where he left Goku and noticed that she was sitting in the middle of the stream still splashing in the water. Irked, Vegeta moved in front of her and she glared coldly at him. Her movements stilled and she noted the glare he was sending. She was tempted to splash him with the water, but thought better of it.
"What the hell do you want now?" Goku growled; not in the mood to deal with his antics in the slightest.
"You need to eat," Vegeta reminded the female.
"I don't want to," Goku huffed and looked away.
"Kakarrot, we already discussed this, you need to eat or you will grow weaker again and die…" Vegeta warned, his anger slowly simmering to the surface.
"What if that's what I want?" Goku challenged.
"I already told you that you are not going to die," Vegeta growled. He grabbed her despite her protests and was dragged back towards camp.
"I'm not going to follow your orders!" Goku yelled at him. She didn't like the way she was being treated as he continued to drag her back to the place they lived.
"You don't have a choice. You either live or I will find a way to prolong your life; even if I have to go and gather the Dragon Balls," Vegeta spoke in finality.
"I'd sooner destroy them than let you make a selfish wish like that!"
"You can't even fight anymore and it's all because Yanish made you who you are…"
"Stop it…" Goku whispered. By this point, they were back in front of the cabin and the fire where her meal awaited her.
"Or what? You'll make me pay by finding some strong human to fight me? You're nothing Kakarrot. You're a shadow of your former self and a bitch that needs a good fucking…"
"No…" the words Vegeta were saying seemed cold and she knew he was right. She knew then and there she could never learn to trust him in the slightest as well. 'Everyone's betrayed me, even Vegeta…'
The energy crackled around her frame and Vegeta was taken by surprise when her hair turned gold for a fleeting instant. The once deep chocolate colored eyes became a lifeless pair of teal orbs that gazed in pure anger and frustration at him. He knew that Goku could at least power up, but knew that without recovering, the power was an empty threat and would eventually fall low enough that she wouldn't be able to have a hissy fit. The only thing he needed to do was bide his time until it blew over.
"You know this to be true Kakarrot," Vegeta reminded her; egging the female further since he wanted to provoke her in order to have her let out any frustration she was holding back. "You didn't seem to bother fighting against the men who wanted nothing but for you to spread your legs and…"
"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Goku cried out angrily; the golden aura gathered around her and fully elevating her power to the first level of Super Saiya-jin. Vegeta was caught off-guard when he was suddenly punched in the face and sent flying into the line of trees; his body cleaving them in half.
Panting, Goku seemed to glare coldly at where she sent the Saiya-jin prince's form and waited for him to attack; to continue mocking her, but he rose up silently and walked back to where she was standing. She was breathing ragged breaths and felt every fiber of her being quiver from the energy that she spent dealing that one blow. She saw that he didn't power up or continue to degrade her the way he had been. Already, he was sporting a developing bruise from the sudden blow to his face and a part of her blood screamed that he deserved much more pain than that, but another screamed at her for being so callous at attacking him for no reason. In the past, she wouldn't have given into his demands and lashed out without thinking.
"Are you satisfied now Kakarrot?" Vegeta spoke to her calmly. His voice did not hold the same malice it had only a short time ago.
"No," Goku hissed. "Why don't you just leave me the hell alone?"
"You can't survive for long out here. Not in your current state…"
"I'm fine! Why don't you just go back to Capsule Corp and just go fuck Bulma if you're not going to fuck me?"
"As tempting as it sounds, I prefer being here." Vegeta smiled so smugly that he almost thought he would end up being punched again, but she ended up growling in frustration.
"Fine, do whatever the hell you want as long as it doesn't involve using me," Goku powered down and went over to eat the bear. She had to admit that she was ravenous and that her recent emotional outburst had made her feel like she was slowly starving to death. She already knew what it was like; ignoring her own needs for the needs of those who only wanted to use her body as a means to an end.
'Kakarrot, you still don't trust even your prince… no matter, I will see to it you learn to do so even if it means honoring your request…' Vegeta silently thought while watching the female warrior eat without any reserves whatsoever.
Yanish was growing annoyed of the lack of updates from his elite pursuers. They had been searching Earth for the past few weeks for the lost Saiya-jin woman that had escaped and sought sanctuary from him. They had attempted to blend in with the locals; however, he learned that those whose alien features were too bizarre encountered problems.
"…and Ritsu was lost recently after he encountered some random earth thugs…" a soldier reported. "Should we search where she was last spotted?"
"Another party has already done so and hasn't reported back," Yanish growled. "I feel if she is still at the location, she would have surrendered herself when the second wave attacked."
A crackling of the radio suddenly came in loud and clear.
"M-master… she's not at the compound… we were heavily overpowered… by some strange kids… and some young man…" a wounded soldier wheezed.
"What do you mean overpowered?" Yanish demanded.
"I… I don't know what to say… they're powerful and we couldn't subdue them…" the soldier managed to say right when the communications ended; leaving nothing but static.
"Fuck!" Yanish cursed angrily. "Attention all units: converge on the compound and capture those responsible for the loss of Unit Delta. I want those responsible for their deaths to be brought to me alive!"
The rancid smell of decay surrounded Goku as she lay on the bed with her arms shackled mercilessly above her head. She had no idea how long she had been there alone and bleeding out, but she knew that they didn't give a damn about her injuries at the moment. She was covered with cuts and bruises from the multiple aliens that had abused and ravaged her without her consent. She was a prisoner and was not entitled to the same rights as the ones who used her for their own perverted pleasures.
She heard a sound at the door and noticed another alien standing at the doorway. Like the others, his face was twisted in a form of pure ecstasy at the sight of her. Most aliens preferred her over the others due to her narrow hips and using her tail to invoke her screams of pain when she refused to cry out. While she was immune mostly to light squeezes, they found other ways to cause her agony. One had the audacity to stick acupuncture-like needles through her tail that it actually invoked a great pain whenever she was being taken.
"Are you ready to scream for me?" the voice slurred in wanton lust. Goku shivered; trying to hide herself despite the light falling upon her frail form. "Maybe if you perform well monkey, maybe I can feed you some of my cum…"
"NO!" Goku woke up from the nightmare. She found herself in front of the dying fire and noticed Vegeta was sitting across from her on the other side. "How long were you watching me sleep?"
"Long enough," Vegeta replied. "Those nightmares are still bothering you."
"No duh they're still bothering me," Goku looked away. "I thought I would have been strong enough to get over what happened, but every time I fall asleep, I…"
"Kakarrot, you need to stop pushing me away. I'm nothing like Yanish…"
"Liar," Goku sent a glare in his direction. "I know you've been resisting because of your fucking pride."
"Would you like it if you saw your sons in your position?"
The anger fell from her face and she looked at him with a helpless look in her eyes. "I… I'd never let Yanish touch either of them! The last thing I want is for him to corrupt them as well!"
"It might happen sooner or later if you end up not putting your trust in me," Vegeta stated.
"It will never happen!" Goku denied, but she felt fearful that her sons would probably get caught up in the mess she brought to Earth.
Vegeta's head suddenly snapped in the direction where he felt some high power levels. The female saw his expression change drastically.
"Kakarrot, I sense trouble, I'm going to check it out," Vegeta rose into the air.
"Wait! I can feel Goten and Gohan are fighting against them," Goku looked mortified. "I need to go as well!"
"You're not strong enough," Vegeta stated. "In your current state, you wouldn't last long fighting against Yanish's pursuers."
"I don't care! I'm not staying here while they fight alone!" Goku argued.
"I'll make sure they're fine and return for you," Vegeta flew off quickly. Goku found that she struggling to fly behind him and made it as far as the beach before she fell down on the soft sand. Water lapped at her spandex leggings and her hands dug into the sand.
'A year ago, I could have taken them all on easily,' Goku thought as tears ran down her cheeks. 'Now, I can't even fight because my body's been modified against my wishes and practically starved half to death… I can't do anything anymore… I'm weak…'
Helplessly, she sat on the shore crying and for the first time, she accepted that she couldn't do anything to protect her sons from the pursuers.
To Be Continued…
