Stepping out of the shower, Sakura gave a tiny shudder at the cold air that hit her wet naked body. The mirror in front of her was covered in condensation, so she swiped it clean with her hand as she marveled at her image. Light bruises sprinkled her body, old and new, and random scars marred the creamy flesh. Her drenched pink locks clung down her back, droplets dripping off the ends, and her nipples puckered at the chill of the bathroom. A deep blush radiated off of her cheeks.
She had just taken a shower in Naruto's bathroom. And now she was naked. In Naruto's bathroom. With Naruto just down the hall.
Forcing down a dirty grin, she snatched the towel off the counter and rubbed herself as dry as she could manage, and hung the damp cloth on the empty towel rack. She reached for the tiny pile of clothes at the other side of the sink, and her flush deepened. Her boyfriend had insisted on choosing her pajamas, and he had chosen one of his shirts and a pair of her night shorts. Of course.
Slipping into the clothes, she opened the door to the hallway, and followed the sliver of light down the end of the hall. With a soft breath of self encouragement, she padded inside.
Naruto laid on the bed, one hand behind his spiked head and the other occupied with what she identified as a missions scroll. He was shirtless, as he tended to be lately whenever she was around, and was laying on the cover, so she could see he was in his shorts. Upon her entrance, he glanced up from his scroll. It was a quick flicker of his eyes, but it was all he needed to allow a look of complete hunger to dance in his gaze. Sakura silently prayed that she'd be able to look at him again without wanting to melt in a puddle of excited goo...ok, maybe she hoped the feeling would never end.
She was now thoroughly confused with herself.
Naruto reached over and set the reading material on his nightstand, and shoved himself upright to look at her fully. He was composing himself, she could see, but the ghost of his recent look lingered in his oceanic eyes.
"You know, you look absolutely beautiful in my clothes." he rumbled, raising a golden brow.
Sakura bit her lip, forcing back a smile. "Even better than you?"
"A thousand times over." he responded, giving her his lopsided grin. He reached a hand forward, beckoning her towards him. "Come on. I don't bite unless you want me to."
The pink haired medic rolled her eyes, ignoring his outstretched hand but flopped on the bed next to him. "Keep your teeth to yourself."
"It has been eternity since I've seen you and you still haven't changed. Wow." he laughed, leaning against his headboard and staring down at her.
Her hair covered her face from where she had fallen onto the bed, and she blew it away from her mouth as well as she could manage without touching it. "I don't want to change."
"I never said I wanted you to."
Leaning over, he brushed her hair away from her face, her nose and eyes crinkling playfully. Naruto chuckled, brushing the backs of his knuckles down her now hair-free jawline, and her stomach did a little flip. How long has she been waiting to get back so they could have moments like this one? It seems like their entire relationship, they've been away from each other. Sakura figured they'd have a little time in between waiting for something to happen, and whatever investigation they could manage. She intended to use it wisely.
The Kunoichi wiggled onto her side, tucking her elbow underneath her head, and watched him. For a small moment, they said nothing at all, only spent it in comfortable silence as they smiled at one another. Finally, Naruto poked her in the ribs and mimicked her position.
"You know, after all this time away from each other, we're supposed to be all over one another." he said.
Sakura snorted. "You haven't even taken me out on a date yet."
Naruto pouted playfully. "That's no fair. You and I both know I haven't had the opportunity to."
"I know." she said, grinning deviously.
The blonde haired man rolled his eyes, and tentatively slipped the arm that wasn't supporting his head onto the small of her back. His hand splayed right at the end of her spine and was warm, and comfortable, and excited her. She relished in the little electric tingle that shot up her body. Subconsciously, she slid closer to him, her body molding against his slowly, taking time to find her place next to him. Naruto sighed contently, his warm breath tickling the strands on the top of her head.
"Kami, I missed you, Sakura-Chan." he mumbled, resting his whiskered cheek against her cranium.
"Mmmmm." she agreed, suddenly feeling very sleepy. With a deep breath, she burrowed her face into his chest.
Naruto frowned, inhaling the scent of her hair. "You smell like me."
"Yes." she agreed, because she was wearing his clothes, and used his towels, and is in his bed. "So?"
"I don't want you to smell like me. I smell me all the time. I want to smell you."
Sakura stiffened briefly. "You sound like a freak."
"You know what I mean." he said, poking her side. The blonde paused, suddenly remembering a question he meant to ask her before he got distracted. "Why did you want to sleep over here tonight anyways? You've been gone so long, why not sleep at your place, in your bed?"
"Don't want me over here?" she pouted. "I could leave."
"Sakura-Chan."
Said woman sighed. "I shut my water and electricity off until further notice. We were gone for longer than expected, so I figured I would save myself the money. I didn't expect to come back so soon, so everything hasn't been turned on quite yet."
"So you're over here mooching?"
"Yes. Among other things. Like, I wanted to see the new house and all, which you totally suck at nesting." she smirked, gesturing towards the card board boxes littering the bedroom. All that was adorning the room unpacked was his bed, a nightstand, a dresser, and a pile of dirty clothes in the corner. She shook her head at her boyfriend's choices. "And most of all, it has you. So yeah, I would like to sleep here tonight."
Naruto felt his heart leap into his throat. "Wanted to see me that badly, did you?" he asked playfully.
Sakura tried to hide the evident flush that blossomed on her cheeks. "No. Not at all."
"Lying is a sin, Sakura-Chan."
"Was going to hell way before this, Naruto. I think I could live with that."
The blonde tilted his head to the side and chuckled. "You are positively something else, you know that, right?"
"Is that something else a good thing?" she asked, a silly grin broken out on her face.
Naruto said nothing to her question, so in curiosity she lifted her head from it's place on his chest, and was met with a feathery touch against her lips, so quick that she almost thought she imagined it. Still, the light brush excited her. The more time they spent together, and the more they were intimate like this, the more she found herself wanting to go further. To do more. It was like she was being fed drugs in increments, and the more often she got it, the more dosage she needed. She was finding that she just couldn't get enough of the blue eyed man in her arms, and that thrilled yet frightened her.
"I do believe I answered your question." he whispered, his mouth barely a breath away from hers.
It was her turn to give him silence, her verdant eyes hooded, still staring at his lips. Hesitantly, she leaned forward, pressing her mouth firmly against his. She felt him sigh contently, his hand pressing her hips to his by her lower back. Sakura slanted her lips against his, deepening the kiss as she trailed one hand up his spine to tangle in his soft spikes. Naruto slipped a leg in between hers, leaving it there, as if to give her the option of pushing him away. When she didn't protest, he lifted it higher, dangerously close to her underwear. A knot formed in her stomach, one of excitement, fear, and nervousness. She wasn't sure if she liked it or not.
Sakura's entire body felt alive, every cell buzzing in uncontrollable appeal. Where ever he touched he left a path of burning need. Every bit of her screamed that she wanted him, and she did. Her thoughts were fuzzy, yet crystal clear at the same time. Nipping lightly on his lower lip with her teeth, she felt him jump slightly, pulling back briefly to stare at her. Her face was still covered in crimson, and she watched him gaze at her, an unreadable expression on his face before he slammed his mouth back against hers with more fever than before.
Naruto pushed off of his mattress with one arm, and used the other to slide down her thighs, gripping them and putting either one at the side of his hips. Sakura let her fingertips drift over his bare chest, relishing in the way his muscles would bunch and relax at the slightest brush of her hand. Naruto rolled his hips against hers, and maybe it was because she was so heated, maybe he rolled against just the right spot, but she moaned out loud.
Sakura Haruno moaned. Out. Loud.
For whatever reason, the pink haired medic couldn't bring herself to be embarrassed, and chose to instead lightly scrap her nails against his shoulders. Naruto groaned against her lips in response, and rolled his hips against hers again, enticing a very sudden gasp from her. He trailed up her borrowed shirt, splaying his hand on her stomach and gliding it up, stopping just short of her breast. He rubbed little hot circles underneath her mound, but when he moved slightly upward, almost cupping it, Sakura gave a hard shove.
Wide eyed, Naruto pulled back completely, staring down at her in surprise. Sakura was lightly panting, flushed all over, her shirt still rose to display her entire abdomen, and had her arms slightly thrown over her torso.
"Too much." she swallowed hard, no longer breathing heavily, but her heart beat still racing. "Too soon."
Naruto, on the other hand, was still excited to no bounds. The woman he's loved for years is underneath him. In his bed. Her lips swollen with his kisses, hair disheveled by his hands, and he could still see her heart thumping harshly in her chest. It was enough to make him want to pin her wrists above her head and just have his way with her.
But again, this is the woman he's loved for years and he was a good man, so he nodded vigorously, sliding off of her and onto the floor.
"Yes, yes, you are absolutely right." Naruto announced, pushing himself off of the carpet and turning his back towards her. He heard the rustling of the blanket as she sat up, watching him with confused eyes. "So uhm, I will be right back, ok, Sakura-Chan? Will only take a second."
Sakura blinked innocently, her mouth pursing in a concerned manner. "Are you ok, Naruto?"
The blonde flashed her a thumbs up, still not facing her, and headed out the door. Kinda hurt, Sakura laid back against the pillow, furrowing her brows as her thoughts raced. Was it something she did? Or was it because she stopped him? A flash of anger pulsated. If it was because she wouldn't go that far yet, she ought to-
Her train of thoughts were cut short as she heard the shower running, then Sakura put two and two together.
Her laughter could be heard ringing across half of Konoha.

Sasuke strolled down the road, hands shoved in his pockets, streetlamps buzzing lazily above him. It was a tiring day. After training with Naruto and letting him be with his-god it was still so weird to say it-girlfriend, he had planned on heading home and going to bed. He was a good two hours into the latter (which with his insomnia, was a miracle) when a message hawk pounded on his window like some demon of the night. So instead of being nestled in his warm bed, dreaming his rare dreams of tomatoes and jutsu, he got called to the Hokage tower.
That's his freaking luck alright.
But, being the dedicated ninja he was, he still dragged his ass out of bed and trudged grumpily down to the tower like a good little Shinobi. Scoffing, Sasuke stuffed down the urge to kick the pebble in front of him. As sleepy and unhappy as he was, he was still an Uchiha, and Uchihas do not go around kicking tiny rocks in frustration. So, he made sure to step on it, grinning his foot a little as he continued on his way. Feeling slightly better with this tiny victory of the world, the raven haired man turned the corner.
About halfway through the path, Sasuke halted, feeling the familiar prickle of foreign chakra itch up his spine. Spinning to the wood line, he snarled silently, feeling the chakra rushing towards him. Dropping down to a defensive crouch, he watched as the brush snapped apart, a man breaking through the brush. Sasuke flipped out a kunai from his pouch with one hand, extending the other across his chest in defense, while building it with a steady stream of electricity. He was prepared for a strike, when the man completely blew past him, taking off down the street.
Blinking stupidly, Sasuke stood, staring down at his kunai briefly. The man was running so fast, he was nothing but a blur, and the raven haired man couldn't get a good look at him. Sighing, the young Uchiha figured he had to postpone his sleep even further and chase this idiot down before he made his way to the tower, just in case it was some ballsy enemy. Just great.
Whipping around, Sasuke sprinted down the road after him, pumping chakra into his legs, feeling himself propel forward in a rush. The buzz he felt from running leaked into his body, and slowly he felt himself reach full awareness, sleep no longer a pushing need. As he ran, he saw a blob ahead already, and he pumped a little more chakra. About twenty feet away from the man, Sasuke could hear his heavy panting, and about ten feet away, the Uchiha could visibly see a trail of sweat pouring from his body. Wrinkling his face in disgust, Sasuke decided to call out.
"You do realize that running like this at two in the morning will make people think you're a criminal." he yelled, his voice almost being lost in the wind. The man didn't even look back. Sasuke frowned. "Hey!"
When the man still did not answer, Sasuke cursed, and weighing his options. Deciding to go for it, he lurched forward with a giant surge of chakra, and slammed into the man. As soon as he made bodily contact, the man fell, skidding on his front down the street. Sasuke flipped him over, the man struggling, but weakly, against him.
"Who are you?!" he inquired, trying to hold him down. He noticed the Konoha headband wrapped around the man's arm, and he relaxed, if only a tiny amount.
The man was covered in sweat, as he had noted previously, and his entire body was shaking. There was dried vomit on his front, which Sasuke noticed in mortification, and he was paler than the moon itself.
"Do you need medical attention?" Sasuke asked in concern.
The man opened his mouth slightly, and a few strangled noises came out. He stopped struggling against the raven haired man, and was now breathing heavily.
"Sir?"
All breathing stopped together, and Sasuke's eyebrows crinkled in alarm. Staring into his eyes, he noticed his pupils enlarging significantly before the man opened his mouth and screamed loud enough to make Sasuke go cross eyed. The man thrashed wildly, bucking his whole body, trying to throw the raven haired man off of him.
"Calm down! Sir!" he hollered back, people starting to emerge from their homes. Noticing a watchman with a lantern sprinting down towards them, Sasuke waved his free hand, the other arm filled with chakra, stretched across the man's chest beneath him. "You! Go contact Sakura Haruno. Tell her it's urgent and Sasuke Uchiha requested her. Go! Now!" he pleaded, keeping the panic he felt under wraps. The watchman nodded, running towards the opposite direction. Sasuke looked down, onyx eyes wide as he watched foam dribble out of the man's mouth.
This is bad. Really bad.

Sakura Haruno loves a lot of things. She loves sunny days and sweet treats. She loves medical scrolls and S Class missions. She loves her boyfriend (not that he knows that yet) and her teammates. What she doesn't love, is being woken up at 3:14 am. At. All.
So when she stomped into the hospital, her boyfriend stumbling behind her as she cursed the world and all it's unfairness, she had her reasons for it. As exhausted and annoyed as she was, she was worried. Why would Sasuke summon her of all people? Why did he request her service? The only times he requests her at the hospital is when he is hurt, and he is too stubborn to let anyone else treat him. So maybe she was snappish because she got woken up, but it was mostly because she was scared.
"Where is he?" she growled at a nearby nurse, who squeaked, pressing her chart as close to her as possible for protection.
A wave of guilt washed over her as she watched the terrified expression on the girl's face, but Sakura was too tired to care. She made a mental note to apologize the next morning and buy the girl coffee.
"O-Over there, Haruno-San." she said quietly, pointing a manicured finger to the room down the hall.
The pink haired medic nodded to her in thanks, and stormed into the designated room. Naruto trailed tiredly, arms folded across his chest as he watched his girlfriend march in and sweep the area with her eyes. Sasuke was slumped in the windowsill, but wasn't in the hospital bed, which was a wonderful thing. Sakura let out a long breath that she didn't even know she was holding. Clicking her boots up to him, she yanked him down in a huge hug, which she knew he was silently fighting, before pulling back to slam her fist into his shoulder.
"You ever scare me like that again, Sasuke, I swear to Kami I'll break your rib." she growled, watching in satisfaction as he rubbed his shoulder tenderly.
"Hn." he grunted, fighting a small smile. "Nice to see you too, Sakura."
Sakura returned his sorta smile with a full watt one of her own, before she furrowed her brows. "So why exactly did you drag me from what little sleep I get to the place I typically use it all on?"
Sasuke's face fell, and he jerked his chin towards the bed. "This guy."
Sakura turned her head to where he had gestured, and her bloodshot eyes widened in horror. The man in the bed was the same teammate from the previous mission, the one that vomited in the woods. Rushing over, Sakura snatched a mini flashlight from a cart, pulling apart the unconscious man's eyelids to notice his partially blown pupils.
"My god." she whispered, twirling the light around his eye. Without looking at the men behind her, she continued while checking his vitals. "Who brought him in?"
"I did." Sasuke said grimly, watching intently as his teammate rounded the bed. "He was running from me. Or something, I don't know. I found him like this. He was dripping sweat, and shaking, and foaming from the mouth-"
"They sedated him?" Sakura frowned, flipping a paper in the chart she grabbed from the foot of the bed. "A pretty strong one too."
"Did I mention the screaming?"
"Screaming?" This time the pink haired medic gazed at her teammate in concentration.
"Yeah, he wouldn't stop thrashing and screaming."
"Peculiar..." Sakura muttered to no one in particular, leaning back over and probing along his body with her chakra filled hands. A few more moments of silent observing, and she sighed, leaning back, and shaking her head. "I have to run tests. I'm not finding anything with my chakra, but it's obviously something."
"How long will that take?"
"Not sure. But I will put a rush order on it." Sakura nodded, putting the chart back on the edge of the bed and pulling the blanket up further on the man. "People tend to listen to me around here. I'll take a few samples and hand them to Shizune. You did good to summon me, Sasuke. Thank you."
"Hn."
Sakura rolled her eyes, turning around to face him fully. "Glad to see your vocabulary is the same since I left."
"Ah."
"Ok, you can stop now." she laughed softly. He smirked. Pursing her lips, she looked behind Sasuke to find her boyfriend curled into the tiny chair, snoring lightly. "That man can sleep anywhere." she said plainly, and Sasuke glanced behind him, noticing the sleeping blonde and frowning. "I envy that about him."
"Yeah..." the Uchiha agreed, before getting a rare dirty smirk on his face. "I wonder what made him so tired?"
"What?" Sakura blinked dumbly, and her teammate nodded towards her torso. Looking down, she noticed that she was still in Naruto's T-shirt, and a hand flew to cover her lips. "N-No! Absolutely not! Sasuke, you pervert."
"I'm just saying-"
"Well you shouldn't be saying anything."
He looked at her knowingly. "Something must have happened for you to act like this."
"Naruto tells you about his sex life, I blab mine to Ino. That's how this works."
"So there is a sex life?" There was a moment of silence. "Sakura?"
"I'm going to break your rib now." she growled, balling up a fist.
Sasuke chuckled, shaking his spiked head before looking back at the man. His demeanor changed entirely. "What is going on, Sakura?" he said so softly, it was almost a whisper.
She let her hand unclench slowly, and finally let it drop like dead weight by her side. Giving a tired sigh, she shoved her fingers through her uncombed hair. "I don't know. I'm suspected something neurological. I didn't see anything with my chakra, so there's no injury, but I'm guessing it's a virus, or a disease or something. I'm going to get a bit of cerebral-spinal fluid and see where that gets me."
"Hn." he grunted, the crease in his brow showing obvious worry. Stress was etched in his face, bags under his eyes like shadows reflecting his ongoing insomnia. The pink haired medic's mouth slanted, knowing that the pills she prescribed for him wasn't working like they were supposed to.
Sakura walked over to Sasuke, standing by his side and watching the man for a little. Frowning, she leaned her head against the front of his shoulder, and she felt him tense. A moment passed, and she finally felt him relax. She smiled, just enjoying his warmth and listening to her boyfriend snore. There was nothing romantic between them. This wasn't a heart pounding moment. Sasuke has had a hard time dealing with people, ever since she met him. Now that he's back, he's still adjusting, but physical contact that wasn't violent was still a tad foreign to him. The Uchiha is a scarred man, and she knows this, but she's his friend and she's here for him. Everyone is. And the day will come where he will let someone who isn't Naruto or Sakura or Kakashi touch him, and he won't tense. But tonight, it's just Sakura. And that's ok too.
So they stayed there a while, just leaning against each other, listening to the quiet buzz of the fluorescent lights of the hospital and the distant shouts of medical staff. Sakura felt the wave of exhaustion hit her, and her eyes almost drooped shut. Suddenly, a thought came to her, and she leaned away, almost sorry for doing so when she saw Sasuke nearly asleep against the wall. When she leaned away, he jerked, eyes opening lazily and he inhaled sharply. He needed sleep, and she knew, not only as his friend but as his doctor, but he needed to do it in a bed.
"Sasuke?" she murmured, tapping his nose.
He swatted her hand away. "Annoying."
She ignored it. It was second nature to her now. "What were you doing out at 3 am?"
Sasuke's hooded eyes snapped open, mouth slightly agape as he nearly ran her over in his attempt to get to the door. Sakura stumbled back, whirling around to follow his receding back out of the room. Frowning in confusion, she merely shrugged, thinking to herself that she always did befriend weird people, and looked over to where her boyfriend slept in possibly the tiniest, most uncomfortable chair in the world. Laughing softly, she approached him, sticking a foot out and nudging his leg.
"Oi, Naruto." she called out gingerly, and he groaned. Rolling her eyes, she leaned over him, poking a whiskered cheek. "Naruto, it's..." She glanced at the clock and almost cried. "It's almost five in the morning, and I'm about to die of exhaustion. Can we please go home and sleep?"
In a blur of tanned arms, Naruto scooped her next to him, dragging her down to drape across his form. She squeaked, splaying out on him and cursed his name. Naruto merely laughed beneath her, shaking both of them as he fought to keep his laugh as quiet as possible. She snapped her head up to glare at him, her face scrunching up cutely, and when she opened her mouth to hiss at him, he kissed the corner of it.
"You said home." he noted in mirth, resting on hand on the middle of her back and the other behind his head. He toyed with the ends of her hair. "You called my place home."
Sakura's face heated up, and she rolled her eyes defensively. "So?"
"So, I find that unbelievably, just..." Sakura raised a pink brow. "I don't know."
"Yeah." she sighed, and just laid her head against his chest. Her heartbeat quickened. He smiled. "Now can we just go there so I can fall asleep in your arms there?"
"I love the sound of that. Let's make this a nightly thing."
"I plan on it."
Naruto shifted, sitting up as Sakura slid off of him. They both stood, clasping hands and walked out into the hallway. The receptionists looked up from their desk on their way out, smiling to say their goodbyes to Sakura, but instead gaped at the couple. The pink haired medic fought a giggle, biting her lip and leaning her head against the blonde's shoulder.
"Well, now that I think about it, we don't have to get to sleep just yet, you know." Sakura whispered, and could practically feel her boyfriend's grin.
"You know, I think I'm beginning to realize why I keep you around so much."
"Shut it."

Sasuke burst into the Hokage's room, panting as he stumbled in front of the desk. Tsunade looked up from her paper work, surprised, but with recognizing who it was disturbing her peace, she glared.
"Uchiha." she growled, and he nearly gulped.
"Hn."
"Don't you "hn" me, you little shit." she said, standing and slamming her hands on the oak surface and relishing in the tiny jump he tried to hide. "I sent that hawk hours ago. Where were you?"
"I was-"
"When I send a hawk I expect you to come running."
"There was an emergency."
Tsunade raised a golden brow. "Emergency?"
"Yes. I had to take a Shinobi to the hospital. Sakura tended to him."
Narrowing her eyes, the Hokage frowned. "What was wrong with him? What did Sakura say?"
Sasuke glared down, looking frustrated and tired. "She doesn't even know. But she said it was one of her teammates from Kumi."
Tsunade swore, looking out the window quickly. The sun began to rise, the sparks of it's flames licking the sky with pink and orange. The twilight was receding, and morning condensation was spreading on her window.
"Does she think it has anything to do with the situation?"
"She doesn't know."
"Damn it." she wore, shaking her head and biting her lip. "What the hell is going on here?"
There was a short silence, before Sasuke cleared his throat. "What was I summoned for?"
The woman just sighed tiredly, falling back into her seat. "I need you."
"Ok, I figured that out." he said. "What for?"
"Someone was caught messing around Konoha's border." Tsunade said, folding her hands over her recent paperwork. "Our tracking team is still in Kumi, and with your sharingan, you're the best person for the job."
Sasuke nodded, and then his stoic face broke. "I have to go now?" he said miserably, and Tsunade ignored the pang of guilt.
"The sooner the better."
Scrubbing his face with his hand, Sasuke groaned and looked back up. "Got any magic pills?"
"Yes, you drug head." Tsunade said gently, opening a drawer in her desk and tossing him a bottle of soldier pills.
Sasuke chewed a few of them, placing the bottle in his pocket without even asking. Tsunade didn't say anything. "I better be getting a hefty bonus for this."
"Maybe if you're a good boy, Uchiha."
Sasuke rolled his eyes, already heading for the door. As he reached for the handle, the Hokage called back for him. "Hn?"
"I don't say this often, Uchiha, so I'm only going to say this once." she said. "I work you hard. And you don't complain. When I call for you, you come, even if you're a few hours late. So, thank you."
"Ah."
"Now get the hell out of my office, Uchiha."
Sasuke did just that, walking down the corridor to the wall of the village. The small, rare smile on his face was hard to miss.

Yawning, Sakura opened blurry eyes to look at the sun that was shining through the slightly ajar curtains. The smell of coffee wafted through the air, invading her nostrils and tempting her to get her ass out of her bed. Upon looking closer, she noticed the 'curtains' were actually sheets, and that the bed she was sleeping in was definitely not her own. She smiled softly to herself, pushing off the bed and pouting at the fact that she was all alone. So much for her romantic wake-up-in-her-lovers-arms scene.
Scratching the back of her head, she shivered as she threw the blankets off of her, cursing at the cold and standing on the carpet. Her toes curled at the change in temperature, and the thought of the hard wood floors made her shake with dread. So, looking around the way too huge room, she noticed her boyfriend's pair of slippers and took them happily. Trying her best not to stumble in the slippers two times her size, she padded down the hallway, finding her way around the home to where she heard humming, she solved the case of her missing boyfriend.
Naruto was humming some simple tune, frying something in a pan while the coffee pot gurgled in the corner of the counter. He was shirtless, as always, and she tried not to watch his body move around the kitchen. His blonde hair was tossed messily from sleep, a slight layer of hair dusted his face as well, and his whiskered grin was just as bright as the sunshine coming in from the giant bay windows across the room. A loose pair of ninja pants hung off his hips, teasing her with his pelvis line, and a small line of blonde hair. Sakura bit her lip, trying to stop the heat from pooling in her panties this early in the morning. God, she was pathetic.
Looking around to take her mind off of Naruto, she noticed that the kitchen looked like the rest of the house. No decorations, no signs of even wanting to stay. The bar minimum was unpacked to function, and the rest of his stuff was shoved against the walls, still in boxes. She shook her head.
"You know, one day you're going to have to unpack your crap." she chirped brightly, hopping onto the single stool at the breakfast bar. He turned around, throwing that delicious smile her way, and she couldn't help the giddy bubbling feeling she had. "I didn't even know you had this much crap." she smirked, popping the 'p' just for fun.
Naruto scoffed, but kept the happy expression. "I don't. Well, I didn't. Most of it is ass-kissing 'house warming' gifts from the council." he said, turning the stove off. Sakura peeked over his muscular shoulder to see a plate of eggs. Surprisingly, they weren't bad looking. Noticing her impressed expression, Naruto stuck his tongue out at her. "Forewarning, I only know how to make three things: ramen, coffee, and eggs."
"Ah, the bachelor's diet. I'm honored to get in on this." she laughed as he placed a plate of eggs in front of her, before pouring her a cup of coffee. She took a bite of eggs, and smiled. "Beautiful. Much improvement."
"Thank you." he nodded, hopping up on the bar in front of her with a plate and cup of his own.
They ate in light conversation, and when they were done, Sakura did the dishes, much to Naruto's protest. Deciding she didn't want to get dressed just yet, Sakura walked into the living room. There were more boxes, and one unfolded futon, so she threw herself down on it. Naruto followed suit, and rolled on top of her.
"Umpf!" she grunted, and started shoving on his body. "You..gah, squishing...me!"
"Wow, my futon talks." he laughed, wiggling back and forth.
"Naruto! You moron!"
Said man took pity on his talking futon, and rolled over to his side, and ignored her dramatic intake of breath. He draped an arm across her stomach, which she allowed, and they both laid there for a moment.
"What are you doing today?" he asked, pulling her closer to him.
Sakura shoved down her dirty thoughts, and sighed. "I have to go to the hospital and see about those test results. Then I have nothing."
"Well, I have training with Tsunade, and then we're going to see about the decorations and jnk for the festival next week."
Sakura shot up, looking down at him. "Oh, shit. That's next week?!"
"Uh, yes."
"Crap." she moaned, covering her eyes with her hands. "Crap crap crap crap crap crap."
"Ok, this is a dilemma, I recognize the signs, but what for?" he asked, puzzled, playing with strands of her long pink hair.
She took her face from her hands to toss him a look. "I don't have anything. No hair stuff, no dress, no makeup, nothing. Zip."
"So?"
"So! I just..." she trailed, shaking her head. Naruto sat up and tucked a lock of hair behind her ear.
"If it were up to me? I would rather us just spend the night in my room, and you wouldn't have to worry about anything because you'd be naked underneath me."
"N-Naru..." she gaped, crimson blossoming over her body.
"What?" he gave her a sloppy grin. "Too forward?" Pouting at him, she wrinkled her nose when he gave her a light kiss on her forehead. "Now get up and get dressed, you mooch. We have work to do."
Making a noise in the back of her throat, Sakura dragged herself off of the couch. "Remind me when I get home to help you nest."
"Nest?" he asked, following her lead.
"You know, make a place your own."
"Oh." he said. "Then move in with me."
"Ha. Ha. Ha." she rolled her eyes, and upon looking at his face, smiled. "I'll think about it." Looking around, she pursed her lips, noticing the crack in the window. "What happened?"
"Don't even ask."
Shrugging, Sakura went upstairs, Naruto following her lead. As she brushed her teeth and her hair in the bathroom, Naruto used the bedroom to change. Once they were finished, they switched, and Sakura bound her chest wrappings and dressed into the clothes she brought with her, tying her headband around her hair as Naruto entered the bedroom, shrugging into a Shinobi shirt.
"What ever happened to your orange jacket? You haven't worn it in forever." she asked, her face falling slightly. "It's so weird seeing you without orange for so long."
Naruto's response was unexpected, because he smirked knowingly. "You'll see."
"What?"
"Never mind. Anyways, I need to get to the Hokage tower, and you need to do your sexy little medic thing." he said, swooping down to kiss her fully on the lips. "Lock up for me when you're done?" he asked, slipping a lone key into her hand. With a final squeeze on her hand, he walked out of the bedroom and out of the house.
Sakura unfolded her hand, looking down at the key that gleamed up at her in the morning sun. A huge smile broke out on her face. Everything about them was amazing. They did things like this like it was everyday. It all just felt so right. Last night and this morning. They haven't gone beyond kissing, but she an only imagine what that would be like.
A blush creeped up on her, and she shook her head to get rid of the dirty thoughts she was having. She's never been such a perv before, not until she began her relationship with Naruto. How could she have not noticed this before? Sighing happily, she secured the house and slipped the key into her pouch, walking on clouds to the hospital.

"Good Morning, Haruno-San!" The receptionist greeted.
The nurse next to her behind the counter perked up at the mentioning of her name, eyes widening as she busily snatched a nearby chart and handed it to Sakura as she marched to her office. "Haruno-San, here are the rush order results you wanted." she said quickly, before she stopped another doctor, informing them of a problem patient down the hall.
Flipping through the folder, Sakura read in a concentrated manner as she opened the door to her office and slid into her white coat. Clipping her hospital ID on, she nearly dropped the folder as she continued reading.
"Oh Kami." she whispered in disbelief.
Nearly sprinting down the hall into the lab, she burst through the doors and grabbed the nearest microscope with the red tag on it. Adjusting the petri-dish, she fought a wave of nausea. She was right. There was a medic on their side—there just has to be—and they were talented. Extremely talented. On her level, or even her Shishou's. Stepping away from the microscope, she grabbed the nearest black tag and marked it. Trying not to seem alarmed, the pink haired medic quickly made her way to her office, throwing her medic coat back onto her chair. On her way out, she tapped the receptionist desk.
"Yes, Haruno-San?" The woman greeted with a smile. "What can I do for you?"
"Give my rounds to another doctor, I'll be gone for awhile. Tell them to pay special attention to the patient in Room 309."
The receptionist furrowed her brows. "Is everything alright?"
Sakura plastered on a fake smile. "Just running a few errands."
The pink haired Kunoichi sprinted from rooftop to rooftop, finally slamming into the Hokage's office, ignoring her boyfriend's alarmed face and staring into the eyes of her master.
"Shishou!" she panted. "I know what's wrong with the man. I know what's causing the no-struggle disappearances!"
"What?!" Tsunade screamed, shooting across the room so fast she was a blur and gripping her student by the shoulder roughly. Naruto followed suit, setting a reassuring hand on her lower back. "What are you saying Sakura? Are you sure?"
Sakura nodded feverishly. "It-"
"Hokage-sama!" A Shinobi burst into the room, carrying something huge on his back.
The older woman shot him a dirty look. "Not now! This is very important." she barked, glancing back down at Sakura, who's verdant eyes were wide with panic. "Continue."
But as Sakura opened her mouth to speak, the Shinobi cut in again. "So is this, Hokage-sama."
"Trust me, there is nothing more important than-"
Before she could finish, the lump that was on the Shinobi's back fell to the ground with a sickening thump. All four heads snapped back, and the three who were previously in the office noticed that it was a human. A man, and he was violently thrashing and making little noises now, his eyes rolled to the back of his head, foam oozing from his clenched teeth. Concerned, Sakura flew to the man's side, rolling him to the side and staring him in the face. Her heart dropped to her toes.
"Sasuke!"
