Hello readers! I missed you all so much. Gah, I'll leave all these formalities for sometime later. Lets go ahead with the chapter.
I don't wanna live
I don't wanna breathe
'les I feel you next to me
you take the pain I feel
I don't wanna sleep
I don't wanna dream
cause my dreams don't comfort me
the way you make me feel
BUTTERCUP
"Don't you dare tell me you forgot about them!" I gaped at him, horror-struck. "Um, sorry?" Butch rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. I growled, of all the things that they could have forgotten, of all the BLOODY things that they could have forgotten, they chose to forget our weapons and clothes. I mean I knew that the situation was dire and all but how could they forget about the most important things of our requirement. I wanted to wail and cry and punch the living day lights out of the grinning idiot who sat before me, but I had a reputation to maintain.
"Boomer, I cannot wear this, this filthy thing around." Bubbles motioned to her plain white piece of clothing in disgust. "Just look at it, it is not comfortable, I can't move freely, I don't have footwear, I don't have weapons, and this makes a horrible fashion statement because it is so transparent." She wailed and a pink hue dusted the boys' cheeks as they looked down at our garbage that we called clothes.
"Now that you mention it, it is quite transparent. I wonder what will happen if I accidently drop a little water on it." Butch smirked and rubbed his hands together. I smacked him over the head and glared at him saying "Don't even THINK about it."
"Aw, you ruined my fun babe." He winked but I turned away, I was still very annoyed at the fact that he did not think about our clothes and weapons. "You guys, did you find anything?" Boomer asked and I looked up to see Brick and Blossom appeared out of the trees dusting their hands off.
You see, when we came here panting and huffing Brick wanted to follow and find out where the faint jingling of water that we were hearing led to, so he had gone off with Blossom trailing behind.
"Yup, there is a stream a little far off and deeper in the woods. The water is pure and soothingly cold so if you girls would like to freshen up and change then you are most welcome." Brick smiled and handed us some bags. I raised my eyebrow and turned to Butch who face-palmed. Bubbles bounced off and took our bags, sticking her tongue out at Boomer and Butch who exchanged high-fives. She opened the bags and took out the basic necessities, giving Boomer a mischievous look.
"Thank you Brick, at least one of you is a darling and caring enough to think about our wellbeing." Bubbles smiled widely and gave the stunned boy a kiss on his cheek.
"Uh, you're welcome?" he smiled but confusion clearly shown in his eyes.
As she bounded off, I side hugged the red haired teen and spoke in a taunting voice "Yeah, thanks, at least one of you is not a jerk." He smirked and nodded as I dragged a confused Blossom away. My smirk just widened as I felt two pair of eyes burning a hole in the back of my head.
"What was that about?" Leader girl asked, her tone held a hint of annoyance and confusion. "Jealous much Pinky?" I raised an eyebrow and she turned to face me "Not even close." She huffed out yet smiled none the less as I recounted the incident that had passed in her absence.
"Girls, I am bored." Bubbles whined as she picked up a few scented flowers along the way. "Plus, the boys are so mean; they lied to us just to tease us." We walked further into the dense growth with chattering. But the gears of my mind were turning and the path they were taking was not a sweet one. Oh definitely not a sweet one. I smirked devilishly and cleared my throat "Boredom has only one solution my darling sisters, let's have some fun. If they think they won then they are bloody wrong."
"Are you thinking what I am thinking, that you are thinking?" Blossom's mouth curled into a smirk as she ran a hand through her waterfall of hair. "Even though that was very confusing but yeah, it is time for payback. I'll teach Butch such a lesson." I winked.
BUTCH
I would be lying if I said that the letter did not please me. A few minutes back we found three pieces of white cloth with something scribbled on them using berry juice. That something was an invitation inviting him and his brothers for an evening together with the girls. Boomer had left for the hot spring while Brick had been instructed to go to the waterfall. I thought that Buttercup would have chosen something wild and more appealing compared to the river she had chosen, but oh well, who was I to complain, I was getting my fun filled evening after all.
As I looked down at the piece of clothing I got a weird feeling in the pit of my stomach as excitement rushed through my veins imagining just what part of the dress had Buttercup torn off.
I shook my head of all the dirty thoughts as I reached the river. I looked around for the Black Beauty who was nowhere to be found, but what I found made my stomach churn. It was a pile of white gown and her green dress with brown robe and boots on a patch of dry grass. The mud around it was wet and the footprints that led from the pile of clothes to the river were deep and a clear give away of where the girl would be.
I spun around as I heard a splash of water and it took all my will to keep myself from fainting on the spot. In the middle of the fast flowing river, with water reaching her waist stood a white skinned maiden with pure black hair dripping wet and bright green eyes shining in the silver moonlight. She looked like an angel even with the contradictory evil smile that graced her face. My eyes ran up and down hungrily, consuming in her curvaceous waist, arms that rested on her hips, the exposed white neck and obviously the figure that was hidden by the green wraps.
She invited me to join her motioning with one finger. Needless to say, I had already bounded off to the river fully dressed with a demonic smirk on my face.
As I entered the river, I staggered because of the rapid flow of the water. "Do you not know that it is bad to make a princess wait?" Buttercup came closer to me talking in a sultry voice. "My apologies princess, how can I be of service?" I whispered huskily as I pulled her closer. "Now, now Butch, try to keep your hormones under control." She said as she put her hands on my chest "We wouldn't want your shirt to get wet, would we?" she pushed me away but I pulled her closer.
"I seem to have my hands occupied with your bands so why don't you be a dear and do it for me." I smirked as her face turned red, from embarrassment or anger I do not really know, but I guessed both. "WHAT?!" she screamed and I laughed as I splashed her, pushing her away.
"Butch, you DOG. I'll kill you."
"Catch me if you can babe." I laughed challengingly and in a second the atmosphere had changed from lustful to playful arguing.
We splashed each other and laughed hysterically screaming alongside. Soon she disappeared but I was prepared when she tried to pull me underwater so I went down willingly and after a few seconds, again emerged with her sitting on my shoulders spitting and coughing madly. She started hitting my head and I dropped her into the water.
That evening with Buttercup, I had experienced true pleasure. Oh now you dirty minded people just took it the wrong way didn't you? An innocent pleasure! After all, I didn't lie when I said that I would have fun tonight. Plus, Buttercup is still just an acquaintance to me.
BUBBLES
I shivered as the cool night breeze blew against my bare arms and legs. The clouds were slowly darkening and casting their gloomy shadow over the forest and even though I had a hot spring readily available, I waited for Boomer to arrive. I closed my eyes and soon felt two strong arms wrap around my waist and warm breath on my cheek.
We did not speak just stood there silently cherishing the feeling of warmth that our bodies shared. He pulled me down into the spring and I squealed and jumped into his arms as the hot water came in contact with my foot. His chest rumbled in silent laughter as he caught me and slowly went in deeper. The water reached his waist and he was careful not to let it come in contact with me again. I nodded in agreement to his expecting gaze and he settled down slowly, with me clutched to him.
After a few more minutes of silence I said "Beautiful night, isn't it?" he turned to look at the sky and nodded. "So, what to do next?" he shrugged in reply. "Are you okay?" and again I received a silent nod. "Boomer, say something will you?" I touched his shoulder and he tensed at my touch. I sighed, I knew he blamed himself for my capture, torture and all that and he was still sad about leaving his home but he should not bottle up his emotions.
I squeezed his shoulder and looked at him, willing him to meet my stare. When he made no move to react or turn or speak something, I slowly got up and walked to get out of the pool of hot water. "I am sorry." He whispered so low that I barely heard it. Turning to face him, I settled back down into the spring as I kneeled before him and turned him to face me.
"I am sorry too." He looked up at me confused and I continued "I do not know why you blame yourself when I forgave you, I am weak and can't defend myself without you protecting me, I want to make you smile yet I am the cause for your glumness, I do not know why you came back for me, why you sacrifice for me or why I need you so much. I am sorry for all this and everything."
I held the chain with lapis lazuli that I had gifted him and a traitorous tear silently slipped down my cheek. He raised his hand and brushed the salty water away, holding his fingers to my lips. It was so gentle and light like it was just another one of my wistful thinking, a dream just made up.
People say time doesn't wait for anyone, but for the next few moments time froze as Boomer touched his forehead to mine. He held my bare waist underwater and brought me closer, so that I sat in his lap with my arms around his neck. "I care for you Bubbles and that is why I'll always be your protector, that is why I will always come back for you and can make a hundred sacrifices as long as you are happy." He murmured.
"But that is something you do for someone you love, and we are born to be enemies. One of us has to shed the other's blood, Boomer don't you understand?" I cried clutching him to me and hugged me back as tightly as I was to him. "I do understand that Bubbles, trust me I do. But…" he trailed off and I looked up to him. "You don't love me Boomer." I stated and even though I wanted him to contradict it, I knew it would just make it harder for both of us in the end if we were made to stand against each other.
He pressed his lips to my forehead and replied "You don't know that Sweetie."
After a long pause he said "Oh and Bubs, it is a beautiful night but not more than you." I giggled and he smiled but behind the happy masks, both of us pitied the love that would never get a chance to bloom.

I sighed. The silvery, crystal clear water gushed down rapidly with deafening yet comforting sound. I walked deeper and closer to waterfall as I let the soft sprinkles of water spray my face. I just wanted to relax, be free of all problems and just enjoy life. But life loves throwing my fun right back at my face. My hands lifted up the white gown as the water reached my knees.
I kept walking and took no notice of the person trailing me until I felt someone tug at the string of my dress. I stopped not even turning to look back as the small pulling gradually undid the knot. My eyes fluttered close and I was jerked back into Brick as he pulled the string with such a force that the back of the thin, good for nothing gown tore off. I felt the ruined cloth slip away and the sudden warmth of his bare chest made sweat trickle down face.
Please don't let him come so close, I thought as I shut my eyes tighter. Brick brought his hands to my neck making me shiver as he slowly rubbed soothing circles at the base of my neck. My posture relaxed and I leaned towards him as massaged my back, leading me to the waterfall. Before I stepped in, directly under the rushing water he trailed his fingers lightly down my spine, but it left a trail of burns. My back had felt so hot like he had burned me but I was too dazed to notice the dark look in those red eyes.
It felt like stones were constantly hitting my head but I enjoyed it, crazy right?

"Hey Pinky." He said
"Don't call me that" I replied harshly "only my friends can call me Pinky."
"Blossom…" I raised my hand to silence him "You broke my trust Brick. And I don't sell my trust it is won by the most worthy, which I once thought you were. But you know what Brick, for the first time in my life I was wrong and you should be so happy that you proved me wrong." I barked coldly.
"I don't lose Blossom and I'll sign it in my blood if you wish that I WILL win you back." He stated with such an authority and ferocity that it stunned me into silence.
He walked closer to me pulled me into him. As his lips caressed my ear and his breath tickled my neck he whispered "Stay away from me Honey, it will be safer for you." I shivered and blinked but as I opened my eyes I saw him standing 5 feet away with an eyebrow raised. Shaking my head I knew I was going crazy, imagining bullshit.
But what I had missed was the small smirk that graced his face and the twinkling of those devilish red eyes. Oh if I had noticed, it would have saved me from a lot of trouble.

THIRD PERSON
"I am telling you it is a bad idea." Buttercup grumbled
"Since when did that stop you." Butch said, which sounded more like a statement than question.
"But sometimes I do listen to my mind." She huffed
"Go say that to someone who believes you." He waved her off.
"Hey, does that mean you don't trust me?"
"Exactly when did I say that?"
"Well, you are implying it."
"Your misinterpretation"
"Shut it, I said we should not go"
"More like you, because you are scared babe."
"No I am not!"
"Prove it."
"Fine"
After this argument Buttercup bore in mind that one should never argue with Butch if one cannot stay calm. Her shoulders sagged in defeat as she was pulled by her sisters and their acquaintances into a goddamn carnival. Yeah you heard it right, a CARNIVAL.
Bubbles squealed and pulled Boomer away towards the fortune teller and the rest of them followed.
BLOSSOM
Inside the violet tent, behind the circular table that was covered with red satin cover, sat a woman who was maybe in her mid twenties. Her lavender tinted eyelids were closed in concentration, hands moving over the crystal ball in circles and the candles around her flickered at her silent murmurs. The tent was plain on the inside except a big cupboard where, I suspected, all that gypsy and fortune stuff was locked away.
"Have a seat, my friends." She motioned with her hands and got up, walking to the closet to bring out a tea set. What amazed me was how she did all her work from brewing the tea to serving it with her eyes closed. All of us sat silently drinking away the tea as she continued to mutter something under her breath.
"We will take this up one at a time so please friends will you mind leaving." She motioned "Oh no, you young lady stay here." She pointed to Bubbles and she shrugged.
Ten minutes passed and we talked silently, that was until Bubbles rushed to us with a big smile on her face. "You know what?" she giggled "No we don't." Buttercup grumbled but the cheerful girl ignored it. "My life is a beautiful mix of smiles, tears and love." She looked at Boomer but turned back to face us all, I smiled knowingly. "She said I'll be respected and loved by all, treated as The Gentle Queen and an ideal to all girls." She went on and on and on about her future and Buttercup snuck into the tent.
"Bubbles, we get it." Butch threw his hands into the air impatiently and Buttercup walked out. I held the flap of the tent and heard bits and pieces of the conversation, something about valiance and admiration.
The silver locks of Lavender, as I had come to know her name, blew with the light breeze. It surprised me that she would be so tense around me. Her shoulders were pulled back tersely, her pale hands clenched in stark contrast against her dark robes.
"Sit, princess."
I opened my mouth to question her but her lips curled into a scowl and I obeyed. I still did not come to know as to how she could 'see' me with her eyes closed. "Why have you come here?" I frowned and replied "What do you mean? I …" she raised her hand to stop me.
"Reply in a yes or a no. Get it?" she said stiffly and I said "I.." on seeing her clenched hands I continued "Yes."
"I read your tea leaves and looked into your future, but I cannot say anything." I was about to speak but she pointed a finger at me warningly so I stopped myself and she continued "Do you know your companions?"
"Uh, yes"
"Are they your friends?"
"Yes"
"Should they be your friends?" I thought about that for a moment and replied "Technically speaking, no."
"Do you trust them?"
"Yes"
"Enough that you can follow him blindly?" somehow I got the feeling that she was referring to Brick.
"I think so."
"Wrong!" she slammed her hands on the table and stood up, circling me.
"Excuse me." I cried in indignation, who does this woman think she is, to state me wrong. She is supposed to be 'seeing my future' and not inquire like I am a culprit.
I stood up and she whipped around to face me. "You do not know what you are getting yourself into. You should not have met them, let alone be 'friends' with them." She said 'friends' in such a way that I had a feeling that she knew more. "You girls do not KNOW them and when you do it would be too late. They do not understand us, they do not understand anything but hate."
"That is not true, he understands me and he would understand my love, I WILL MAKE HIM UNDERSTAND." I pushed her away but she stood her ground.
"That is LUST, not love." She spat and walked up to me, her face dangerously close to mine. "I love him!" my exclamation triggered something in her, well I am regretting my action, but haven't I before.
Lavender's eyes snapped open, her eyes were unforgiving gunmetal grey and now they bore into me. I now know why people feel so safe when her eyes are closed and if you personally ask me, they should stay closed forever.
Her hand shot out and grabbed me by my neck, and she took a deceptively benign step towards me but I knew better. I should have tried to free myself because that would have been easy but her unrelenting gaze pinned me at my place.
Her long and elegant finger wrapped tightly around my neck as she lifted me up with the strength that I did not know she possessed. My hands scratched her hands and they bled as I dug my nails into her skin trying to free myself. I was short of breath and I chocked yet I felt fear course through my veins as I saw the cold eyes and a sadistic smile on her lips.
"Do you believe that legends are true?" I coughed and nodded quickly.
"Wise lass I suggest you think about what I am saying. Some things should be left in the dark and humans should not tamper with them." She smiled sweetly and her eyes shone with glee.
"You, little one should know better than anyone how those creatures from the dark realm are. You wanted to hear your future, didn't you? Well, lass you bring doom to the world, your life is short and your inquisitive nature will be the death of you."
"Do whatever you can lass, but your fate and destiny are engraved in stone because you have tampered with nature." Her voice now sounded distant to me as my vision darkened.
The Angel will call, and you will fall
Fire will burn within, here will the story begin
Shattering the trust, the Devil will lust
For Blood that will sedate, or Love shall battles fate
In the Battle of Doom, temptations will loom
One rises and shall fail, Mind or Heart will prevail
For in the end, the World will mend
What had been lost to foes, and here your chapter shall Close
I coughed one last time and she dropped me to the floor. Once again I was left with questions to ponder upon as I went over the prophecy again and again. I heard foot taps and someone picked me up and held me.
My Angel is calling to me, but right now I will just rest.
