"How's a wooden stick supposed to help me against a gun?" Rene complained as Roy handed him a wooden escirma stick.

"You ever hear of Slade Wilson? Well, he trained the first Green Arrow and both of them could kick your ass in less than ten seconds with a wooden stick," Roy told him.

Before Rene could respond, the elevator doors opened up. The trio looked over to see Laurel walk out. Her eyes wondered over to Rene and Rory.

"So, you do have a new team," Laurel said casually.

"Uh, why does the DA know where our hideout is at?" Rene asked.

"Because I'm the Black Canary," Laurel announced to Rene's shock.

"At least she was. What do you want Laurel?" Roy asked.

"Tobias Church just raided the ACU," Laurel said and the thee vigilantes started.

"How is that possible?" Rory asked.

"That evidence you recovered from Kord Industries, Church modified it to explode," laurel explained.

"You were right. Church wanted us to get it back so it could go to the ACU," Rory said as Roy growled.

"With the weapons in evidence lockup, Church could start a war," Roy growled as he paced back and forth. "And that's without the weapons he does have."

"We need to find out what Church is planning to do with those weapons. Because whatever it is, it can't be good," Rene noted grimly.

"Rory, Rene, hit the streets. If you hear anything about Church, call me first," Roy ordered before turning to Laurel. "You should mobilize the SCPD."

"Good idea," Laurel said as she walked out, Rene and Rory headed to suit up.

As they were gone, Roy looked towards the Green Arrow suit on the display, wishing Oliver was here to give him some advice on how to deal with this.

Oliver was putting on his suit when Anatoly walked in.

"Averin is on the move. We should head to police station," Anatoly said as Oliver zipped up his jacket. "Oliver, thank you."

"For what?" Oliver asked as he turned around.

"For everything you have done for me. I know I had no right to ask anything of you once you awake," Anatoly said.

"You saved my life Anatoly. If it weren't for you, I'd be dead right now. Come on," Oliver put a hand on Anatoly's shoulder. "Let's go. It's time to end this brother."

"We didn't find anything on the streets," Rory said and he and Rene walked back.

"It's fine, I think I know where they're going," Roy said as he turned to his team. "A friend of mine looked at the traffic footage and had some associates compile probable locations. There's almost a ninety perfect chance Church is headed for Eighteen Mill Road."

"Why does that sound so familiar?" Rory wondered.

"Because its where the ACU is bunkered," Roy pointed out.

"Church is planning on taking them out," Rene realized as he paled.

"Laurel is there to. I'll call her, warn her," Roy said as he pulled out his phone and dialed.

Same time

"Thank you for your help," Boris told Anatoly as they walked inside the police station.

"Thank me by helping me take down Diaz. We have suffered under his reign for too long," Anatoly said and Boris nodded in agreement.

"Where is your hooded friend?" Boris asked as he looked around, finding no sign of Oliver.

"Waiting," Anatoly said simply.

On the roof, Oliver was in his suit, bow in hand as he looked down at the street, trying to find any sign of Diaz.

Same Time

Laurel declined the call from the unknown number before looking up.

"I'm not rolling on Church," Sergio said as he sat across from Laurel. "You think you scare me more than him?"

"I know I don't, but I should. I'm the DA, and I can use that to put you in the deepest, darkest hole imaginable. Where no one can hear you scream, until you beg for help. But no one will hear you. Or you can give me what I want on Church," Laurel said and Sergio laughed.

"You're talking about the trust," he said and Laurel was confused. "You can't stop it, you can't even come close."

Suddenly, all the lights in the room went out. Laurel looked around in confusion as she heard gun shots outside.

"Well, we know where Church is now," Roy said grimly as they watched a security camera of Church shooting the camera.

"What do we do?" Rory asked and Roy sighed.

"I know you two are probably scared, you'd be crazy not to be. I won't blame you if you don't want to come with me. But I am going, because there are people there who need my help. So, are you two ready or not?" Roy asked.

Russia

Not long after

"Please state your name for the record," a cop said as he sat in the interrogation room with Boris.

"My name is Boris Averin," Boris said.

Suddenly, the lights blinked out and they looked around in confusion.

"Oliver," Anatoly tapped the comms piece in his ear. "The lights went out."

"Diaz is making his move. Get Boris out of here, he's too valuable to lose. Protect him and his son. It's time to end this," Oliver said, opening the door on the roof and making his way inside.

Diaz and his crew made their way inside the building, shooting some cops at they made their way in. Anatoly sent Boris and his son with Bratva and cops in order to protect them. Anatoly then pulled out a gun and jumped out from behind a corner, opening fire. Anatoly got some of Diaz's men before Diaz shot him. Anatoly cried out in pain as Diaz had managed to get him in the shoulder, his gun clattering to the ground.

"Go after Averin. Make sure none of them get out of here alive," Diaz ordered and his remaining men immediately followed the path Boris and his entourage had left. "You know Anatoly; you could have just stayed out of my way. I would never have come after you. But you came after me! And now you're gonna pay for that."

Diaz was about to pull the trigger when an arrow flew out, knocking the gun out of his hand. He looked up as Oliver jumped down, aiming at Diaz.

"Get out of here Anatoly. Make sure Boris and his son are alright. I'll deal with him," Oliver said, not taking his eyes off Diaz.

Anatoly grabbed his gun and ran after the others, leaving Oliver and Diaz alone. There were several tense seconds as neither of them made a move.

"We've never been properly introduced, have we Oliver?" Diaz said and Oliver stiffened. "That's right, I know all about you. When you attacked my guards at the hotel, it didn't take much to put it all together. You're not gonna stop me Oliver. This is my city."

"Not anymore," Oliver sneered before he fired.

Star City

Same time

"Is there another way out of here?" Laurel asked as they all took cover in the back room.

"You might want to uncuff me before they kill you," Sergio said smugly.

Angrily, Laurel whirled around and slugged him. He was knocked out as Laurel shook his hand.

"Nice," everyone turned around to see Rag Man standing in the room.

"Don't worry, he's a friendly," Laurel assured everyone. "Green Arrow send you?"

He merely nodded before putting an explosive on the wall.

"Are you crazy, the blast from that thing will kill us!" one of the officers said startled as Rag Man stepped in front of the wall.

"I'm in place. Blow it," he said.

Laurel and everyone else stepped back as a hole was blown in the wall. However, miraculously, Rag Man seemed to absorb most of the blast. He stepped away and Green Arrow and Wild Dog walked in through the hole.

"Come on, let's get you guys out of here," Green Arrow said.

Diaz threw a knife and it hit a light on the ceiling. The light came down and Oliver jumped back, losing his bow as he avoided it. Diaz then rushed Oliver before he could retrieve his bow. They began exchanging blows before Oliver grabbed Diaz, tossing him across the floor. Diaz hit his back against the desk of an officer and stood up as Oliver pulled out a flechette, throwing it at him. Diaz barely dodged the projectile before Oliver rushed him. They exchanged a few blows before Oliver grabbed him, slamming him down onto the desk.

"It's over Diaz," Oliver snarled.

"Not yet!" Diaz sneered.

Diaz pulled out a knife and Oliver jumped back, just barely avoiding the cut Diaz would have made. Diaz then jumped back to his feet and rushed Oliver.

Star City

"There's a fire exit left at the end of this hallway," one of the officers said as Green Arrow led them through the doors.

"Copy that," Green Arrow said, notching an arrow and firing as Wild Dog opened fire on Church's men.

"Easier said than done!" Wild Dog said as they had to take cover.

"Rag Man, cover me!" Green Arrow ordered.

Rag Man jumped out in front of the bullets, the rags absorbing them as the cops fled. Green Arrow then jumped out, firing an arrow. It hit the wall harmlessly until they noticed it beeping. The vigilantes and Laurel fled before the arrow exploded. They were running down the hall when the archer saw a projective. Instinctively, he pushed Laurel out of the way, taking the hit meant for her. He cried out in pain, falling to the ground. He groaned in pain as Rag Man and Wild Dog helped him to his feet.

'You idiot, why would do that?!" Laurel asked angrily.

"Because you're my friend," the archer said as if that explained everything.

"You really are just like him," Laurel said frustrated as she thought of Oliver.

A shot rang out and Wild Dog looked up as he saw Church.

"Probably should just shoot you but you've earned a little suffering," Church said as he tossed his gun to the ground.

"Get him to safety," Wild Dog said, giving Green Arrow to Rag Man.

"But-" Rag Man said.

"Go!" Wild Dog said.

Reluctantly, Rag Man and Laurel ran down the hall as Wild Dog and Church rushed each other. While at first he seemed to hold his own, it didn't take long for Church to throw him to the ground, knocking him out. Church smirked before looking over at three members of his crew.

"Don't kill him. He may have his uses," Church ordered.

Outside, Laurel and Rag Man had gotten Green Arrow into Laurel's car.

"I gotta go back for Wild Dog," Rag Man said.

"No," Green arrow groaned. "You'll get yourself killed. Get in the car."

"Where should I take you?" Laurel asked.

"Saint Mary's orphanage," the archer said. "It's where I grew up. It's also where I've been staying since I got back."

Oliver grabbed the knife, stopping Diaz from stabbing him it. As he fought to maneuver the knife away from his face, Oliver head butted Diaz. Taking advantage of Diaz's distraction, Oliver grabbed the knife from him before tossing Diaz across the room. Diaz hit a desk, taking a computer and other items with him as he then crashed onto the floor. Dazed, Diaz started to sit up before Oliver rushed over. Oliver punched him before kicking him twice, all in the face.

"This…this is my city!" Diaz shouted out of breath.

"Not anymore," Oliver said just as out of breath.

Before Diaz could make another move, Oliver used his own knife to stab him in the chest. Diaz gasped in pain before Oliver yanked it out. Diaz fell to the floor, bleeding out as the light left his eyes.

Outside, Anatoly and the police were engaging in a fire fight with Diaz's men, desperately trying to protect Boris and his son, who were taking over behind them. Suddenly, an arrow flew out, getting one of Diaz's men in the chest. Everything stopped as a few more arrows flew out, getting two more of Diaz's men in the shoulder. They all went down. The police looked up, seeing Oliver in his hood before he shot off an arrow with a line, disappearing into the night.

Star City, next day

Morning

"You never mentioned that you grew up in an orphanage," Laurel mentioned as she and Rory watched Roy put on his shirt after being stitched up.

"I don't like to talk about it. Where are we with Rene?" Roy asked as he got up.

"Well, the SCPD haven't found a body, so Church has him," Laurel said.

"Somehow, that's even worse. We need to find, fast," Roy ordered.

"Still as impatient as ever," a female voice spoke up.

The three of them looked over to see a blond woman lingering in the doorway. Rory didn't recognize here, but Roy and Laurel did, as both had a shocked look on their face.

"Ms. Di?" Roy said and she smiled softly.

"Hello Roy," 'Ms. Di' said kindly before turning to Laurel, her smile turning sadder. "Hello Laurel."

"Mom?"

I hope you guys enjoyed the fight between Oliver and Diaz. Honestly, in the show, I have no idea why Diaz survived passed season six. Oliver has been trained by and beaten some of the best fighters in the wo, so how he can't beat a common drug dealer who does not seem to have any advanced training is beyond me. And before anyone brings up the Longbow Hunters, Diaz calls them 'new friends' in 6x23, so he didn't meet them until the endo f season six.

Yes, Dinah Lance is here and she will have an import role in both roy and Laurel's Arcs.
