Amy and River walked into the shopping center and Amy immediately pulled her into a maternity store.

"Why are you bringing me in here?" River asked. "The clothes that I have are perfectly fine."

"They may be fine now, Melody, but you're only a few months along. You are going to get a lot bigger. And when you do, you're going to need new clothes. Ones that will actually fit you properly," Amy told her.

River crossed her arms. "Fine," she said, and they started to flip through the racks of clothes.

Meanwhile, in the TARDIS, Rory and the Doctor sat in chairs directly across from each other in the ship's kitchen. Neither were willing to speak quite yet, and Rory was still glaring at the Doctor, who was very pale, and had absolutely no idea what to say.

Rory was the one who finally broke the silence. "Alright," he said, "I Want you to know, that I am only doing this for Melody. Otherwise, I would not apologise because I honestly believe you deserved it. So, I apologise for breaking your face."

"You think I deserved to have my face broken?! Its not entirely my fault!" The Doctor protested.

"You got my baby girl pregnant at a party! I do consider that your fault!" Rory shouted. "Now, are you going to accept my apology, or am I going to take it back and risk upsetting my daughter?"

"Alright, I accept your apology." The Doctor said.

"And...?" Rory asked.

"And I'm sorry for getting River pregnant at a party." The Doctor concluded. "But I'm only sorry that it was at a party. I'm not sorry that I'm going to be a father!"

"... its a lot of work, you know." Rory replied. "Its not as easy as you would think."

"What do you mean...?" The Doctor asked.

"Being a father isn't always easy. But it's the best thing in the world."

Back at the shopping center, Amy and River have made it out of the maternity store, arms full of bags, and have made their way into a baby store. Immediately after they entered the store, River ran over to a rack of baby girl's clothes and picked up a little pink onesie that said "Center of daddy's universe."

"Oh, look at this!" She exclaimed. "Isn't this just the cutest, mum? The Doctor would love this!"

Amy laughed. "Its adorable! And I'm sure you're right. Come on, let's keep looking," She said, flipping through more racks of baby clothes. Soon enough, they left the baby store with even more bags of clothes, as well as some toys.

"Alright, lets head back to the TARDIS. I hope dad and the Doctor have made peace. Preferably without injuring one another this time." River said.
