THIS IS JUST A FOLLOW UP ON WHAT HAPPENS A COUPLE OF MONTHS DOWN THE ROAD, JUST BECAUSE I KNOW YOU CASKETT LOVES ENJOY A HAPPY ENDING!
She is absolutely ecstatic that she is about to be guided down the isle with her father. Only a couple of months before, she honestly thought they weren't going to make it to this moment in their lives. She's so thankful that she was wrong, because this moment is something she has wanted since he has told her he loves her.
Kate tries not to tear up of the over powering feeling of emotion washing over her body, her heart.
"You ready Katie?" Her dad is waiting for her in a grey tux right by the ancient wooden church doors.
She turns to her dad with a watery smile that brightens up her whole face, as if it wasn't lightened enough.
"Yeah, I think so, yeah" She's nervous, what do you expect. She's never done this before. Hell she's been to hundreds of weddings, but never her own. She has never walked down the isle, she has never felt the nerves rushing through her body from the anticipation of seeing her soon to be husband.
Castle is playing with his hands nervously, trying with all of his sensibility to get a grip. He can't seem to calm down though, the nerves winning over his self control. He looks over at Lanie, seeing as she is waving her hand his way.
"Calm down writer boy, she's on her way"
That gets a shaky laugh at out of Castle. Just when he's about to say something the bells start to chime, informing them that the ceremony is beginning. Rick takes deep breaths.
In, out, in, out, in, out-
His breath catches in his throat at the sight of Katherine Beckett (Soon to be Castle) walking down the isle elegantly. The way the multi-colored windows let the light in and how they reflect off of her gorgeous dress makes her look heavenly. Like an absolute goddess. It accurse to him that he has stopped breathing completely. The oxygen not making it's way to his brain, making him feel light headed. He's smiling, an all too goofy smile. And just as he thinks his legs are about to give out, she's there by his side to bring him back to reality.
The smell of her perfume wafts through his senses and leaves him in a blissful haze of love. She's smiling that smile that she reserves for him and him only.
"I don't have words for how magnificent you look today" He whispers into her ear.
She's grins shyly, looking down at her dress (her mothers dress).
"You're not so bad yourself, Rick" The dazzling smile that appears of her lips when she looks back up at him, blows him away. This is the women he is spending the rest of his life with and he couldn't be happier. What makes him laugh the most about the situation only a couple of months ago, in that hotel. He doesn't know who fell madly in love harder that night, her or… him…
