"Why in the world would you do that?" I demanded.
"What?" Lucy frowned as she and Emmett broke apart.
"He kissed you!" I gawked. "And you kissed back!" "What's wrong with that?" she asked.
"Mclaggin… you kissed Mclaggin! Of all people…"
"So what if I did?" she snapped harshly. "I'll kiss whoever I want to, and it'll be none of your business."
With that, she pulled him into another kiss.
