It had been about an hour since Pitch left. Or at least, that's what it seemed like. I had no way of knowing for sure. I had been pulling, kicking… anything I could do to break the bars… but it was no use. There's gotta be a way out of here… To be honest, I had no idea if that was true. I fought against those bars so hard, I knocked a tooth out. I could taste a little bit of blood in my mouth. After a while, I began to lose hope. No one knew where I was. Hell, they didn't even know I was missing. Even if anyone did, the only person who could do anything to help was Jack but he had to find me first. Please find me… That's all I could do at that point… hope Jack would find out I was missing and find a way to get me out of that horrible prison. After a few more minutes of tugging on those damn bars, I heard a noise. He's back! I quickly moved to the back of the cage. I didn't want him to know I was trying to escape. It would have just made him angry… The noises kept getting closer and closer. I pressed my legs against my chest and put my head down, hoping he would just leave me alone. With every sound, I cringed. Then they stopped… I waited a minute before looking up to see if he was in the room. What I found was a lot more… interesting. On the other side of the bars was what looked like some kind of humming bird. Upon closer inspection, I saw it's face. It's... human... like face. What the Hell is that?! Whatever it was, it looked worried. And just as quickly as it appeared, it disappeared. But not before taking something with it… my tooth. What was that about?...

Jack's POV:

I had been looking all over Burgess for any sign of Pitch or Emily. There was nothing. I first looked for his old hide out in the woods but it was gone. After that, I absentmindedly flew around the entire town, hoping something would show up. I was about ready to leave and check all the other cities I had seen Pitch in when I ran into Tooth. I had asked for her help in searching the town so we could cover more ground. Flying by her side was one of her fairies.

"Did you find anything?" I demanded. I hated to sound so rude but I was really on edge.

"Not exactly…" She was going to say something else but my anger wouldn't allow her to finish.

"Then why are you wasting my time?! You should be out there looking for Emily!" Instead of looking angry or hurt like she should have, she looked worried.

"Jack, calm down. We'll find her. And please… let me finish." She said, placing a hand on my shoulder.

"Sorry…" I whispered without so much as looking in her direction.

"I didn't find anything BUT… one of my fairies did" She said, gesturing to the little guy next to her. My mood instantly lightened. After that, she grabbed my hand and placed something in it. Something small. I didn't see what until she pulled her hand away… it was a tooth.

"A tooth? And this is news how?" I had no idea why it was important. She handled teeth all the time. She was the Tooth Fairy for crying out loud!

"She found it in a cave. There, she found a girl locked up in some sort of prison. We think it might be Emily" I took a good look at the tooth. It was covered in blood. My anger then rose higher than it had been before. If Emily lost it, she must have been hurt. I then looked to Tooths helper.

"Lead the way"

Emily's POV:

"Why am I here? I'm not gonna be useful until next month, right? Why take me now?" Pitch had just gotten back and he hadn't said a word. It was creepy and annoying.

"Because you need training" Training? I didn't even want to think about what his idea of a good teacher was.

"What makes you think I will even listen? I don't care what you do to me, I will NEVER help you." After that, he just smiled. He then entered my prison and leaned in close.

"It's not what I'm going to do to you. It's what I'm going to do to your precious family" And with that, my heart sank. After everything Pitch had done, I had no doubts that his threat was sincere.

"You can't! You wouldn't!"

"I can and I. Will… unless you do what I say" His smirk grew wider. The thought of harming innocent people gave him so much pleasure. It was sickening… I was about to give in when…

"Don't listen to him, Emily!" Jack?... My suspicions were confirmed. I looked over to see Jack and a larger version of that bird thing flying towards me and Pitch. As he was flying, Jack used his staff to shoot a blast of ice at the bars in front of me. The black sand instantly became brittle and shattered. I wasted no time in getting up and running towards my savior.

"Emily!" Jack nearly choked. Just before he spoke, I attacked him with a huge hug. Tears were rolling down my cheeks. I was about to thank him when something grabbed me and pulled me back. It was more sand pulling back towards Pitch. Once I was there, Pitch grabbed me by my hair and held some sort of dagger to my throat. The feel of the sand against my throat and the fact that I couldn't do anything about it made me feel helpless and scared.

"Let me go!" Did I really just say that? Come on! That NEVER works!

"I'm not done with you yet" He hissed in my ear. He then gave my hair a strong tug, causing me to scream. That made Jack angry.

"Let. Her. Go!" Jack said through clenched teeth. The dagger that was pressed to my throat disappeared. Pitch ran his now free hand down my cheek and then my neck. Whatever skin he touched turned cold and… grey. But when his hand left it, it soon went back to normal.

"Why do you want to leave, pet. You just got here and I thought we were having fun" Pitch whispered but was loud enough for Jack to hear. His tone was enough to make my stomach turn. He wasn't serious in the least but he did sound serious. He was trying to get to Jack. To make him angry… and it was working. Jack looked like he was about to explode.

"You sick bastard!" Jack then leapt towards us, his staff and hands almost glowing. When he collided with Pitch, frost went everywhere. Pitch's grip on my hair was gone and as soon as I was free, I ran. I ran towards the bird err… lady. I looked her up and down.

"Wha… Umm who are you?" I asked just before turning around to witness the fight that was now going on between Jack and Pitch. Jack was blasting ice right and left and Pitch had made two whips out of his sand.

"My name is Toothiana but you can just call me Tooth" She said, looking towards the fight as well. She looked ready to jump in and help but I don't think she wanted to leave me alone. Tooth? Wait a second…

"The one that found me… it took my tooth… are you… the Tooth Fairy?" She just smiled. Oh. My. God.

Jack's POV:

I threw my hands forward, sending a large blast of ice towards Pitch which he dodged easily. I wanted to kick his teeth in for what he did to Emily. I took a quick look back at her. She had cuts on her hands and a bruise on her cheek. He's a dead man! Pitch must have noticed my rise in anger.

"What's the matter, Jack? Can't stand to see my handy work?" He laughed. He LAUGHED at the sight of her!

"You're going to pay for that!" I shouted before covering my fist with a thick layer of ice and giving him a good punch in the jaw, leaving him unconscious. A state that wouldn't last long.

"Jack, we have to go!" I assume that came from Tooth but all I could focus on was Pitch. He was just laying there. So many thoughts ran through my head. I could do some serious damage. I couldn't kill him, but he will wish I could. I walked up to him… and began kicking with everything I had. Mostly in his stomach. Who knows what sort of damage I could have done if a hand on my shoulder hadn't stopped me. I turned around, ready to yell but something stopped me. In front of me, stood the most terrified girl I had ever seen. In front of me… was Emily. Before I could say anything, she wrapped her arms around my waist and squeezed me as tight as she could.

"Jack, please…" she whispered. I gave her shoulders a reassuring squeeze and gently pulled her away.

"I'm… I'm so sorry. Let's get you home" I whispered, hoping she would eventually forgive me for my actions. I had Tooth lead her out of the cave. When they were gone, I turned back towards Pitch. His eyes were open but he still couldn't get up. Immortal or not, we can still do a number on each other. And it takes time to recover. Just not as long as it would take a normal person. I knelt down, close enough for him to hear everything I had to say to him. "I know you can hear me. I know you can't get up. Which leaves you no choice but to listen to what I have to say." I could have hit him. I could have kicked him hundreds more times. Believe me, I wanted to. But I knew better.

"Then by… all means… talk" He could barely speak. The fact that he was so damaged didn't please me, but it did reassure me… That if he tried anything like that again, I could put him in his place. I then grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and pulled him up.

"If you try this again. If you come anywhere near Emily again. I. Won't. Hold. Back." I then dropped him back on the ground, got up, and began to walk away. I was halfway to the exit when Pitch decided to speak.

"Big things... are coming, Frost. Things… that will scare... even you." He croaked as he slowly got up. I didn't bother turning back around. I had collected myself and there was nothing he could do to bait me. "Things that involve your entertaining little friend" Scratch that. I turned around with lightning speed. My teeth and fists clenched.

"You shut your mouth!" I thought I could handle it…

"You, the guardians, and every ounce of hope in the world… will be gone. And it will be all. her. fault. She'll have nothing left. Eventually she will turn to me. And if she doesn't, I'll simply kill her." What he said did the job… it hurt. But I still didn't let him get the best of me. So I used my built up energy to cover him with ice so he could not follow. At least, not for awhile. Then I left.

Author's Note:

Since I took so long to update, I thought I would make it up by giving you guys this chapter early. SUPER early. As always, though, I hope you enjoy. Please let me know what you think with a review and don't forget to follow and favorite this story. Thanks for sticking with me. I'll try to update on time from now on. Anyway, happy reading and see you next week (hopefully Lol)!

PS- I know I have different points of view in these chapters. This is the last chapter like that. From now on, there should be one POV per chapter (usually Emily's). Let me know if you like that idea or if you like the way I have been writing.
