Kagome knew it would only be a matter of time before she saw him again. She was hoping to avoid it, but he was not someone you could avoid. She was at the end of her first year of college, she knew now what she wanted to do and his company was in the back of her mind. Sesshomaru's father called her often and reminded her often that she had a job with them.

She tried, she didn't talk about him, people didn't talk about him to her, well people that knew her anyway. But today, today was the day that she knew would come. She had just got out of class and went to her coffee shop to get coffee, and there he was, on the front page of the paper. She had been frozen in place for a moment.

"Miss, did you want a paper to?"

She knew better than to say yes, but she said yes anyway "Yes" She paid and quickly left the shop. Normally she would say and sit at the shop, but she wanted to get to her room quick so she could read the paper alone. Her heart raced as she raced home, but it was not from running. She lived on the school grounds and had her own room.

Kagome threw down her bag, jumped on her bed and opened the paper up.

"Gosh" He looked taller and he was so handsome "Wow" This guy used to be her friend. "Sesshomaru" She whispered, he had all but left her, broke his promise, hurt her feelings, what had she done to him. It was like he was staring right at her, like he knew she would be looking at it, he looked cold, mad, pissed off. But he looked so good. He wore a nice suit, his hand in his pockets. "Your suck a jerk!" She yelled, she wanted to call him and yell at him for looking so smug.

Her phone rang and she picked it up "What!" She snapped,

"Crap, you saw it" Inuyasha spoke,

"Saw what" She said a little lighter,

"Really Kagome, are you gunna make me say it, is it me or does he look like a smug bastard"

She was silent for a moment "Have you talk to him" She asked, she didn't want to seem sad, she didn't want anyone to think she thought about him still.

"Na, just in email, why you got something you want me to tell him"

"No" She quickly said "I have nothing to say to him, and your right, he does look smug"

Inuyasha smirked, she was being hard "Glad you see it my way" He laughed "I was actually calling to see if you where coming home for spring break or not"

Kagome sighed "I, I don't know"

"Come on Kagome, we are still your friends even if he isn't, I don't care that you wrote him off, but don't write us off!"

"I didn't write anyone off!"

"Fine whatever,come home!"

"I'll think about it"

"Well, dad will come after you so whatever"

"Ugh!" Kagome slammed the phone shut "Stupid Inu demons!"

On the other end Inuyasha laughed, it was to great, now to have a little more fun! Inuyasha picked up his work phone and dialed his bothers office, it didn't even ring 3 times "What" He snapped,

"You know, it still amazes me how you two still have the same mood swings"

"Half breed what are you talking about"

"You and Kagome, damn, I just got off the phone with her, she picked up the same way"

"Perhaps neither of us wish to talk to you" His voice held a sigh to it,

"Anyway, have you seen the paper"

Sesshomaru rolled his eyes, he was looking at it right now "Yes Inuyasha"

"Psh, what where you thinking, man you look smug"

"Says the half breed"

"Says Kagome to" Inuyasha laughed lightly "Man, I about died when she said it"

Sesshomaru was silent, he knew she would see it, he thought about it the moment they took the photo, his eye burned into the camera as if he were looking right at her.

"What is the point of this call"

"Oh, just a brother calling another brother, dad likes the photo, he wants you to do more PR"

"I don't do PR"

"So are you going to take a vacation or no?"

"What does it matter to you?"

"Just wanna make sure your not coming home"

Sesshomaru looked at the phone "Kagome is coming"

Sesshomaru closed his eyes, he wanted to see her, but he knew he could not, they could not "Goodbye Inuyasha"

"Bye ass!"
