The day after the final competition, the results were posted. It read:

1 Mikan Sakura
2 Hotaru Imai
3 Yōichi Hijiri
4 Ruka Nogi
5 Aoi Hyūga
6 Tsubasa Andō
7 Misaki Harada

Everyone was swarming the board to see who the winners were. The contestants and their friends had to push through in order to get to the front of the crowd.

"Oh my gosh, Hotaru!" Mikan exclaimed while shaking her best friend. The inventor couldn't help but crack a smile (she was thinking of the money reward and deep inside she was happy).

By the time the commotion died down, the tardy bell rang and every student rushed to class. Once in class the students congratulated Mikan, Hotaru, and Ruka.

Natsume walked into the class and heads toward his "girlfriend". He told his friends he was happy they won and leans in to kiss Mikan. Instead of meeting her lips, he met her palm. He got DENIED!

"What do you think you're doing!" Mikan said frustrated that he thought he could still kiss her.

"Kissing my girl," was his arrogant response.

Their group of friends mentally facepalmed at the way Natsume was acting.

"Did you not understand my song last night?"

"I did and then I thought about what you were trying to say. I was shocked at first, but then I was like, 'she doesn't mean it, I mean who would dump me. I'm THE Natsume Hyūga! Women LOVE me.'"

"I would, I could, and I did." Mikan said with pride."WE. ARE. OVER!"

"Why are you doing this?"

"Don't act like you're so innocent. You forgot my birthday again, you been cheating on me for quite some time, and you've been attached to the biggest tramp in school ( 'Hey!')."

"Come on, Mikan. Those are trivial things, babe. Don't ruin what we have over stupid stuff."

"Did you not understand what I said? I mean, you're a smart guy. Don't call me, talk to me, call my name, touch my hair, or think about me." Mikan calmly goes to her best friend and sits next to her.

Everyone in the room was sweating bullets because Natsume's Alice was reacting to his emotions and he was pissed off. It was as hot as a furnace. He couldn't believe his girlfriend, ex girlfriend, told him off in front of their whole class. Heck, even Narumi was in the room, but he left because he was embarrassed for Natsume. (Do you get what I mean?).

Their group of friends were happy for Mikan and none of them looked at Natsume. Almost the whole class was rooting for Mikan, except Natsume's fan club.

It's a short chapter. I know. Just go with it.
