Just a little amusing scene about what exactly Beast Boy does with his new information. Also, I have another story up! It's called "Before Reality," and it's currently a fluff filled one shot. But I'm considering doing more with it. Anyhows, I should have another chapter up soon. Thank you Thank you Thank you to everyone who consistently reviews, I absolutely love hearing feedback on my writing and just your thoughts on the story in general. R/R~ Love, Sam.

In the Dark
"There's a double meaning in that."
Beast Boy woke up to the sound of knocking on his door. Rising groggily from his bed, he stabbed his fingers through his mussed hair. He finally opened his door with a yawn, only to find Raven standing in front of him with one hand propped up on her hip.
"Against my will, I was sent to get you for dinner."
With that, the empath turned around and started down the hall. But before he knew what he was doing, Beast Boy grabbed her arm, ignoring her incredulous expression.
She loved him, right?
"Hey, um." Beast Boy rubbed the back of his neck and offered her a half-smile. "Thanks."
Confusion with a hint of annoyance swam in Raven's violet eyes as she stared at Beast Boy. "You're welcome." Pause. "And get your hands off me."
"Oh. right." Beast Boy quickly placed his arms back to his sides. "Like, I bet it's kind of a lot of work wakin' me up and all, although if Star is cooking I guess it's not that bad because well, you know…But if it's Cy, then I know you love his cooking so it must seem like a drag to come get me."
"What the hell is up with you today?"
"Nothing. It's just…" Beast Boy grinned and pecked Raven on the cheek. "It's just been a really good day."
Almost immediately, the sound of her hand hitting his cheek echoed through the hallway. Her eyes split, glowing an eerie red as she leaned closer to him, her voice ground out through her teeth. "Don't you ever do that again." And with that, the empath whirled back around and disappeared into the common room.
Beast Boy could only stare for a few moments before his hand came up to touch his stinging cheek. But Cyborg's words still rang in his head.
"Well, Robin. Raven told me in absolute confidence that she still loves Beast Boy, but she's too shy to admit it because she thinks he'll turn her down."
So Beast Boy did a little jig before joining the others for dinner. He found them already seated and eating when he walked in, so he took his usual seat, grabbing a slice of pizza from the box. It didn't last long before his eyes wandered to Raven. She was still beautiful. Still proper and reserved and so damn cute. Oh yeah, he was definitely still into her.
"What do you think you're looking at?"
Beast Boy was brought out of his thoughts by Raven herself, who had put her pizza down and was currently arching an expectant eyebrow at him.
"Heh. Nothing."
She seemed to accept the answer with only a tiny bit of suspicion, and as Beast Boy eyed the stoic empath across from him, he smirked and thought to himself, "She totally digs me."
