Percy`s POV

It`s kind of creepy when a person continuously keeps changes his/her expressions. The speed at which Annabeth`s expressions changed… and I thought 3G was fast. When I told her what happened, she was having a blank expression on her face. When I completed, she put up the thinking expression as if she was replaying what I just said. Then there were different expressions on her face. From shock to horror to unbelievable in just 10 seconds as if she was replaying what I said in fast forward and she just realized the importance in it. It was really, really creepy. All in short, she looked beautiful in every expression.

"She made you her champion?" she asked.

"yes."

"her first ever champion?"

"uh-huh."

"The fates came?"

"Yup."

"they smiled?"

"um…yeah."

"Your life span grew longer?"

"hmm…"

"and it turned a greenish brown color?"

"yeah…"

"Hestia blessed you?" Typical daughter of Athena…

"yes."

"so that means you`ve got new powers….."

"Um… I guess you could say that….." Annabeth`s eyes lit up.

"Did you use your new powers?"

"No not yet, but I will soon find out how to use them."

"Wow….."

"I know." I said as I kissed her. It was a small and gentle kiss, but from Annabeth`s expression, I could make out that she loved it.

"I can`t believe it." She finally said.

"Believe what?"

"That you are a Champion. Hestia`s Champion. HESTIA`S FIRST CHAMPION!" She said fully excited.

"I know right? Now I can save demigods and bring them safely to camp. Then no one will have trouble, we will have more demigods at camp, more fun, then slowly maybe even the gods will start meeting their kids once in a while, more fun in capture the flag, no demigod will be hurt, they will never be alone, they will never lose hope, they will-" I was stopped from my ranting with a furious and long kiss from the most beautiful girl I knew. Her soft curls fell on my face as she leaned in. I gently tucked them behind her ear not wanting them to block my view. I didn't want to miss the view of Annabeth`s beautiful face even for a second when I had the chance.

"Oh Percy, no doubt your fatal flaw is loyalty." I just smiled sheepishly.

"Annabeth?"

"Yeah?"

"I Love you. A lot."

"I know Percy. I love you too. More than you love me." I was about to complain that I loved her more but then I didn't. Because Annabeth was always right. And even she was wrong (which is highly unlikely), it would hurt her pride if I complained. So I just pouted. She laughed a small laugh, told me "good night" and went to sleep. I lay back thinking about what just happened and fell asleep pretty fast.

Jason`s POV

"Oh Jason! Come in." Piper said as she opened the door.

"Hey…"

"Hey…?"

"I don't know what to talk about. I couldn't sleep so I just thought id talk to you is you were awake."

"Well, I am awake."

"Yes, looks like you are."

"Anyways, I was thinking that we might have to give the head mistress of Goode tomorrow a very reasonable reason as to why so many students have bunked the FIRST day of their school."

"Yeah, I was thinking about that too. I actually have a few reasons but I don't think they are going to work out."

"What are they?"

"No, it`s ok. They are pretty stupid."

"Just tell me."

"Well, we can say we all caught swine flu.

"And then…?"

"We had medicine, and we are alright."

"Jason have ever caught a flu?"

"no."

"Wait, did you ever study in a mortal school?"

"When I didn't have my memory, I attended half-day for my first mortal school, but due to some godly interference and technical problems, I had to abandon that school." I told her remembering the first time I saw her. She laughed lightly.

"Any other reasons? Reasonable ones?" she asked.

"Well, we could tell them Chloe starting feeling sick so we went to drop her back home."

"Chloe was feeling sick and ALL OF US went to drop her? Nah, a more reasonable one."

"Um….We could say we got a message that a person in our family had an accident and he was badly injured so we went to the Hospital to check on him.

"hmm…. Not a bad idea! Actually it is a good reason!" she said, her eyes sparkling.

"Um…yeah I guess it-" I was cut midway by a sweet kiss on the cheek.

"What was that for?" I asked. She frowned a little but then smiled.

"What was I even thinking. You see…" she said slowly leaning over to me. "…I, officially being your girlfriend…" I don't know why but I blushed a little at that. She leaned in closer. Ready to kiss me. She closed her eyes and so did I, getting ready to kiss her. "…have all rights to kiss you." She said. I waited but the kiss never came. I opened my eyes to watch Piper rolling on the bed trying stop herself from making noise by laughing.

"Hey! That`s mean!"

"Good, next time, remember not to ask me why I kissed you when I do." I just pouted.

She then got up from the bed. "I`ll go get myself a glass of water." She said as she walked to the door. Before she could go out of reach, I caught her hands and yanked her towards me. She fell on top of me, her lips touching mine. Without wasting a millisecond, I started kissing her. It was a vigorous kiss. My hand slowly went up her back as her hand rested behind my neck. We broke up, when we had the dire need of breathing in air.

"You don't just raise your boyfriend`s hope and try to destroy them like that." I said smirking.

"Jason Grace, you've got some nerve." She said.

"I guess I do."

"Jason, I love you." I looked into her eyes. They were changing shades at a fast pace. The way they did when she was happy.

"I love you too."

"You better go to bed."

"Yes, I better do." I said before getting up.

"Good night, beauty queen."

"Good night, sparky."And with that I went to my bed and had a good sleep.

Leo`s POV

"So, why were you so upset in the afternoon?" Reyna asked me.

"It`s nothing."

"Leo, tell me. It`s Ok."

"well, Looking at Chloe and Percy, it reminded me of family. And looking at Percy and Sally or mom, as I call her that now, it reminded me of mom, my mom. I still remember, she always used to relate everything with machines and mechanism. She once told me this. "The whole word is a machine. Everyone in here are the parts of this machine. You, me, everyone is. And every part has its own worth. Its own function. We all have our own worth Leo, Our own function. We just need to know what our function is. And you Leo, you have a very big function. A very big one. You are worth a lot. You can make a difference between life and death. This machine, this world has been put in a few hands and you are one of them. I trust you Leo, I love you so much. Remember that." Reyna wiped a tear from my cheek.

"Those were her last words Reyna, her last words. It`s like she knew she was going to die. Looking at Percy reminded me of Family. All I ever wished for was a family and now I have one. A big family. So big that no human could even think a person could have that big of a family. I used to hate myself Reyna. Now, I hate myself for hating myself at that time. But still, I miss her, I miss her so much." I then started tearing up. Yes I know, great Leo Valdez tearing up in front of a girl, but hey, she is my girlfriend there is nothing wrong in it. But the fact is, I felt more peaceful and calm after sharing it. It was like an elephant was lifted from my shoulders.

"It`s ok Leo. You have a mom now. Don't forget. I am going to sleep. Have a nice sleep. Night, repair boy." I couldn't help but smile.

"And I thought I was the one who could make people laugh easily. Good night. I love you."

"I love you too. Remember, I am there whenever you need me okay?"

"yeah. Bye."

"Bye." She said as she closed the door behind her.
