On with the story…
A Man with a Lust for Power
"XENO" A voice yelled loudly.
The cyborg, who was inside the room that he had been activated in, turned around to face the door. Shunji came walking in infuriated.
"What did I tell you to do?!" Shunji yelled.
Xeno lowered his head and sighed, "To kill X…" he said softly.
"What was that?" Shunji questioned.
"TO KILL X!" Xeno suddenly yelled.
Shunji looked at the cyborg in disgust, "You have failed me, Xeno. I created you to out do X; you have more power than he does. Let this failure serve as a driving force the next time you fight. Fail me once more and I will throw you out with the rest of the failed experiments."
Xeno nodded, "Yes sir" he looked back up at Shunji with disgust and hate running through his body, "but what about his elemental powers. By the looks of it, you didn't plan on him having so much control over it." Xeno said with a voice of attitude.
Shunji sighed and rubbed his forehead in anger, "Don't remind me. X was never intended to use his powers like that. Yes he has state of the art systems allowing him to do such things, but we never gave him the knowledge to control it like he did."
Kevin then walked in, "Something must have happened that drove him to finding such control. If he wasn't given the information, then something triggered it."
Shunji shook his head, "And I know exactly what did." He then looked at Xeno.
Xeno cleared his throat, knowing full well that he had been caught, "I thought that he would let his guard down if he knew anything." he said referring to when he had revealed to X his name and past life information.
Shunji then pulled out a stick type weapon, similar to that used by police. The baton was charged with electricity. Shunji then took the weapon and smacked Xeno across the face. The incredible electric charge stunned Xeno and caused him to fall to the ground in pain.
Shunji put the weapon away, "X has his elemental powers. You have increased armor and skill." he paused, "Use what I gave you." With that he walked out of the room.
Kevin waited for Shunji and leave and looked at the downed cyborg. Chuckling, the Storm Cyborg spoke, "Shunji really is an asshole. Why do you just take it?"
Xeno coughed and looked up at Kevin, "He gave me a second chance. If that chance allows me to kill the one responsible for my death then I will do whatever to make it a reality. Regardless of what Shunji asks of me, I will do so long as I am guaranteed the chance to avenge the squad Xavier killed."
Kevin simply looked at Xeno with a blank expression, "Interesting" he said. He then turned to walk out of the room, "Just hope that it is you that kills X and not me." Kevin said, attempting to stir and mess with Xeno.
Xeno shot his head back up, "What?" He didn't like the words Kevin just spoke; he hated them with a passion.
Xeno then jumped up and unsheathed one of his blades, bringing it up above his head ready to strike down on Kevin.
The Storm Cyborg quickly turned and parried the attack from Xeno. Before Kevin could counter it, Xeno had already brought his blade back around. Kevin brought his up and deflected the attack, holding the blade in place as Xeno pushed against him.
Xeno, with an angered look on his face, sneered at Kevin, "I am the one that will kill Xavier. If I find that you did… then you pray to God that I don't find you."
Kevin was surprised by the sudden action of Xeno, but was nonetheless calm. He knew Xeno had no power over him and that he could dispose of him whenever he wanted.
Kevin smiled, "Feisty aren't we?" He then pushed Xeno's blade back and sheathed his own, "Fine, but if you're no where to be found, I am the one killing X."
Xeno looked at Kevin with a disgusted look and watched as he walked out of the room. He looked down at his blade, unsheathed his other, and attached the two to make a dual bladed Katana staff. He grasped the middle hilt tightly and growled, "I will avenge the 71st."

Back at the headquarters of Maverick, Doktor was busy examining the internals of X. He had agreed to be tested for intel to be used in future cyborg designs, even upgrades for Raiden. Raiden was in the VR training and the others were hard at work tracking down where Xeno and Kevin could be. As of the attack at the R&D facility, the mission had shifted from finding and eliminating Shunji to finding and eliminating the two cyborgs affiliated with him.
Doktor was fascinated by the tech that was within X, "This is incredible. Such magnificent technology; and so well executed."
Doktor was looking at the electrolyte inhibitors that were within X. They were enhanced with some sort of device that produces all of X's elemental abilities. The ice was created directly by the electrolyte inhibitor while the fire was produced by the device and shot out through the small, microscopic nozzles in X's hands.
X sat up and smiled, "So did you find anything interesting?"
Doktor laughed, "I have found everything to be interesting. Your systems are unlike anything I have seen." He said, "Now about how you used your elemental abilities like you did." He cleared his throat, "By what I see, nothing seems to be really responsible for such control."
X raised an eyebrow, "What are you saying?"
Doktor nodded once, "What I am saying is that whatever Shunji made you with, it is technology that we are years from. Your brain must be enhanced with such control that you can bend the elements at your will."
X shook his head, "That doesn't add up. I can only use anything earth related when I'm in Tank form. I can't just make an earthquake. The same goes for my flame, i have microscopic nozzles that produce the flame, I can't simply control and shoot it from nothing."
Doktor nodded once more, "The nozzles I understand, however, you still made that immense fire blade. Also, have you tried creating an earthquake?"
X nodded and looked away slightly, "That seems fair, and no, I have not attempted to create an earthquake. I never really found any reason to try, nor did I even think of it."
Doktor chuckled, "Well the next time you are out, try it. If you can it will give us a much better understanding of what the technology is like."
X nodded and got up from the table he was sitting on.
"Go ahead and meet the others in the main control room. I will be here studying what I have received." Doktor added.

"Kevin, Xeno, get to the main hangar immediately. Both of you are being assigned to different location. Kevin will be going to the main base in Yuba City, while Xeno will go to the next base located in Santa Rosa." Shunji spoke over a loudspeaker for the entire facility to hear.
Xeno, whom was training in the VR simulator, exited and walked down to where the hangar was. Kevin was simply resting and did the same thing. Once the two were inside, Shunji greeted them with a displeased face.
"You understand your assignments? Good, I will be traveling with Kevin to Yuba City." Shunji said, "Xeno, do not fail me." he said sternly, "If you do, you will be deactivated and thrown out."
Xeno hated the man's attitude but knew that he was in debt to him for giving him his second chance. With a blank face Xeno nodded, "Yes sir"
Kevin simply looked over at Xeno with an eyebrow raised. He then looked back at Shunji and spoke, "We better get moving then. We don't want to be late to protect the company." The two then turned to the aircraft waiting for them.
Shunji sighed, "I fear X will succeed. Xeno is supposed to be better with skill, but I don't think he can handle the fact that X has full capability with his elemental abilities."
Kevin shrugged, "In all do respect, Xeno is not advanced. He doesn't have this elemental ability, and his weapons are prehistoric compared to mine."
Shunji nodded in agreement, "That is… true."
Kevin pulled out his blade, "A Katana blade with pure plasma running through it to make durable, unbreakable, and powerful. Along with a skill set better than Xeno, he isn't very powerful at all."
Shunji then shook his head, "No, I gave him an order, and he will not fail. He knows what is to happen to him if he does."

Deep down under the surface levels of the Research and Development Facility, more work was being done. Shunji had several teams that were beyond Classified working on something special.
Apparently, Shunji had known that X would use his powers like so and planned ahead. The research teams were close to perfecting Shunji Cybernetics next most powerful invention, a time machine. This wasn't a time machine one would think of, rather it was a device allowing for one to see slightly ahead in time. Shunji had planned for Xeno to be equipped with this from the start, though it wasn't finished in time. Along with this incredible piece of technology, the scientist were working on a new body for Xeno. Again, Xeno wasn't really finished. The new armor being made was the same material that made up X's and even had the same capabilities of shifting. However, this one was more like the infamous cyborg Sundowner from the legendary Desperado PMC. The armor, which covered Xeno's body, could be shifted off and in front of him to deflect anything.
Not only was that being perfected, but so was a new technology that Shunji had called ZD2. ZD2 was an update to a certain skill set. If ZD2 was to be introduced to even the most skilled fighting masters, their proficiency and overall skill usage would be set to the fullest extent.
Shunji was a mad man and was determined to stop Raiden and X. Using every bit of his knowledge and resources, he had perfected multiple things that had thought to be impossible.
No one would stand in his way for his bigger plan…

So here we go now. It appears that Shunji is one step ahead after all. I know you're thinking this time machine thing is a bit OP, but don't worry, I have the best way to use it.
