Chapter 9 is finally up
Chapter 9: Solving the Problem
As Yugi slowly opened his eyes, he looked around the room to see two concerned eyes looking at him. Yugi slowly smiled at them and reached his arms out to one of them. Tan arms gently picked him up and kissed his forehead.
"Atem," Yugi mumbled.
"I'm here Kkwy," Atem mumbled as he kissed his little light's forehead.
Yami gently kissed his aibou's cheek and rubbed his back with a small frown. Yugi slowly reached his arms over to Yami and Yami gently took him out of Atem's arms to hold him.
"Yami, I'll be alright. Don't the both of you worry so much," Yugi whispered softly.
"Aibou we're so sorry. We wanted to protect you so bad and we want to leave these titles so badly right now," Yami said, shaking as he held his little lover closer to him.
Kurai Kitsune walked over to her masters and slowly took on her humanoid form so she could sit on the bed with Yugi.
"I am sorry about this master Yugi. I should have stopped them," Kurai Kitsune said sadly as she gently soothed Yugi's hair gently.
"It's ok Kurai, it's not your fault," Yugi said with a small smile.
"Rest now Master Yugi, you will need it," Kurai Kitsune said as she gently mumbled a sleep spell in her mind.
Yugi smiled softly as his eyes closed and he drifted off to sleep in Yami's arms. Kurai Kitsune looked into the eyes of her Master's partners and gently placed a gentle hand on their shoulders.
"Kurai Kitsune, try to protect him a bit better please. We don't know what will happen if we ever lost our little one," Atem said in his Pharoah-like tone.
"Do not worry the ones responsible are still knocked out and Master Yugi is sleeping peacefully now thanks to my sleep spell," Kurai Kitsusne said as she kissed Yugi's forehead.
"Lets go home," Yami said softly as he picked up his and Yugi's things.
Atem nodded his head as he lifted up his things and slowly took Yugi back into his arms so he could carry him.
They walked out of the nurse's office and stopped when they saw Joey, Seth and Seto in a heated argument with one another and Byakko watching with a frown on her face.
"Let's stay for a while to see if this will work out," Kurai Kitsune mumbled.
With Seto, Joey and Seth
Seto had one of his hands on the wall and tried to get Joey to look at him.
"Mutt look at me," Seto said in his cold tone.
"Seto, I don't think you're doing it right," Seth said as he gently took Joey's hands into his own.
Joey looked away from the both of them, causing Seth to frown and Seto to growl coldly.
"Joey please talk to us," Seth said soothingly.
Seto gripped Joey's chin and turned him so Joey looked into his cold blue eyes. Seto's blue eyes looked into Joey's honey-brown eyes to search for the problem. Seto slowly leaned in and kissed Joey on the lips, their eyes never closing or leaving one another's gaze. Joey leaned back and looked away from him.
"Joey don't shut us out," Seth said as he gently wrapped his arms around his lover.
Joey slowly wrapped his arms around Seth's neck and Seth kissed Joey's cheek as he slowly got the both of them to sit on the ground with one another. Seto slowly kneeled on the ground beside them with a frown.
"Talk to us Joey," Seth said softly.
"You yelled at me and told me to get out. You became like my father without the alcohol," Joey said softly.
Seto stiffened and looked away as Seth frowned and placed his forehead against Joey's.
"But Seto's nothing like your father. Seto loves you Joey and he worries about you. You and I both know he doesn't show affections easily," Seth said.
"He yelled at me ove' his work and Mokuba being up. You both were gone and I had no one to spend time with so I woke Mokuba up to keep me company. The work mess was an accident but he didn't even wanna hear it," Joey said in his accent.
Seto slowly reached out to touch Joey's hand but was stunned when Joey slapped his hand away.
"Don't touch me," Joey said with an upset tone.
"Joey," Seto said softly.
"Just leave me alone. You hurt me over the fact that the both of you didn't tell me where you were goin'. Ya left me," Joey said as he struggled out of Seth's hold.
Seth held Joey tighter, not letting his lover go. Seto glared and held Joey close as well. Joey stopped his struggling and slowly started shaking.
"I'm sorry….Puppy," Seto said with a frown and a bit difficulty.
Joey looked at him with tears in his eyes as Seto leaned down and kissed him. Joey closed his eyes and kissed back. Seth gently kissed Joey's cheek and neck to help soothe him.
With Yugi, Yami, Atem and Kurai Kitsuine
Yugi was still asleep as Atem, Yami and Kurai Kitsune smiled at the loving moment.
