Spring Break-Part 5

Two days later, it was the Cherry Blossom Festival in the City of Pallet. The flowers bloom all over the town and the trees had the sweetest cherries in the region. The smells of the sweet fruit in the morning with the juice on your face makes anyone feel a sense of joy in their lives. The trees are all organic and the cherries are the biggest this year. Everyone from near and far will travel to the city for this special day.

"This is great!" Odd said. He cuts into his cherry pancake with ease. "You said it!" Ash said. He eats the whole pancake in one bite. "Ash! You're going to choke!" Yumi said. "No way!" Ash said. "Where did all of these cherries come from?" Aelita asked. "Before you get an answer, you should wipe the cherry jam off your face!" Elizebeth said with a chuckle. Aelita blushed. "The cherries came from the backyard." "There's a cherry blossom tree in the backyard?" Clover asked. "Two!" Sam said. "I'm taking some for the road!" Alex said. Sam starts to yard. "You look tired?" Moxie said. "We cooked this whole thing so our parents won't have too!" "You didn't have to do that!" Daphne said. She came down stairs with Fred. "Back to bed! You are not to come out!" Judy said. "Mom! We're hungry!" Fred said. "And your children made this whole breakfast for you to eat in bed!" "Well, it looks like they need to go back to bed." Fred points to Allison and Gary. They each have a bowl of rice porridge with cherries in them. Brad goes to wake them. "Go back to sleep," he said in a soft voice. "I'm too hungry to sleep!" Allison said. Gary pushes his bowl aside and places his head on the table. "Poor kids, they woke up early in the morning and they can't even enjoy it," Nedley said. "They do this every year!" Fred said. "They do?" Dawn asked. "I know the last tow years they fell asleep an hour before the party and we had to wake them up." "And when they were younger..." Daphne started. She noticed that all four of them were sleeping. Ash J snuggled next to Gary. "Get a picture of that! These two said that they're too old to this!" Elizebeth said. "Mom! Stop it!" Daphne said. She and Fred get up to move them but everyone stops them. "We can do it!" Thelma, Shaggy, and Scooby said. "We're fine!" Fred said. "No! Stay and tell embarrassing stories about them!" Rocky said. Shaggy and Scooby move the four to the living room. "Now spill it!" Ulrich said. "They're going to be mad," Daphne said.

Ash sits underneath a tree and sighs. Allison walks up behind him and covers his eyes. "Hi, Ash!" Ash doesn't respond. "What's wrong?" "My mom can't come. She's stuck with my grandfather." "That's not fair!" "I know! I don't want to be here anymore!" Ash gets up but Allison pulls his Kimono and drags him back down. "Let me go!" "No! We're all your family. I know you miss your mom but you're not alone!" Ash barely cracks a smile. "This is something that my mom and I do. We would always go and enjoy the festival. "Well, just the two of us can do that. It's not the same but you said besides your mom, I'm the most important girl in your life." Ash blushes but doesn't want to go. So Allison gathers cherry blossom petals off the floor and blows it into Ash's face. "Hey you!" Allison gets up and Ash chases her. The Pokemon are all enjoying the petals on the floor. The thing is, the petals are edible for the Pokemon and gives them strength. Nearby, Rocky thinks about something. "What are you thinking about?" Ash J asked. "Nothing!" "I can see it. When you think, you get wrinkles!" "Hey!" "What is it?" "I was just thinking about something your mother said." "Did she tell you all embarrassing stories about us when we were sleeping?" "No!" Rocky said. "But...how do you sleep when you are hanging from a tree from your pants?

As the festival went on, people started to gather for the parade. "This year, there are more blossoms than ever!" Brad said. "And these are the tastiest!" Scooby said. Everyone laughed. "This is my favorite part of the year!" Daphne said. "And we almost missed it," Fred said Daphne smiles and kisses him. "We're lucky! I don't want to leave our children!" "Neither do I!" They kiss again. "Please! Stop it!" Gary said. "You're feeling better!" Sam said. They kiss again. "They're doing this on purpose!" Sam said. "It's cute!" Alex said. Nedley takes out a camera and takes a picture. "It's a good thing that their Kimonos match with the scenery!" As the parade started, the Pokemon start to dance along. "Look at Piplup!" Dawn said. Then someone taps Ash on the back. "Hi, son!" "Mom!" Ash runs to his mother. "Don't forget me!" "Grandpa!" Ash hugs him. "Sorry had to lie to you!" Ash's grandfather said. "No problem!" The petals blow in the wind and a mist of pink dust flies in the air. Everyone is amazed. "This happens every year but I never understood why." A woman said. Another woman stands next to her holding a baby girl. "Whatever the case, I'm glad we are here with our daughter." They kiss and Yumi and Aelita smile. "Cute! And their baby can enjoy the festival!" Yumi said. Ash's Winged Heart starts to glow. "What does this mean?" He said. He looks up. He can see that Latios and Latias are flying above the town. "Look up!" He cries. Everyone looks up and cheers. "Look at the Pokemon!" "Yeah! Latios and Latias!" The children said. "Could it be?" Jeremy asked. "Maybe?" Brock asked. Then two big ripe cherries appear in Daphne and Fred's hands. "Big cherries! Where you get those? They look good!" Moxie said. Iris grabs Jackson and they go to find so cherry vanilla ice cream. When Daphne and Fred ate their cherries, their respective pendants starts to glow. "Seikatsu Cherry Blossom Cherry Tree!" Allison asked. Latios and Latias each make a sound and a field of mist fills the city. Everyone smiles. Latios and Latias give a slight smile to Allison and Ash and they smile back.
