"Mitch, is everything alright in there?" Jerome questioned, banging his fist on the bathroom door. The male in question, Mitch, had been in the bathroom for at least twenty minutes, and Jerome was starting to get worried.

"Huh, oh yeah. Everything's fine. Donz worry!" Mitch laughed nervously from behind the door. He quickly flushed the toilet, washed his hands, and exited the bathroom. On his way out, he flashed Jerome one of his smiles that can melt anyone. Jerome wasn't fooled, and grabbed Mitch's arm before he could get away.

"Don't lie to me, Mitch." Jerome warned. The two stood still in silence, Jerome's eyes focused on Mitch. Mitch's head faced the ground. The American still had a grip on his arm, but not hard enough to hurt him. They stayed like that for minutes, but it seemed like hours.

"I'm not letting go until you tell me." Jerome finally said, breaking the tense silence. Mitch sighed and handed him the piece of plastic he was hiding in his pocket. Jerome looked at it, his eyes wide in shock.

"Wha-?" He looked at Mitch, whose head had not moved.

"I'm pregnant, and It's yours."

"B-but how?! You're a guy!"

"I don't understand it, either.

Again, silence filled the apartment the two shared.

"Why were you trying to hide it from me?" Jerome asked. He finally let go of Mitch's arm.

"I didn't know how to say it. I thought you'd leave me." He murmured. Jerome shook his head, and small smile on his face.

"You should know better," He pulled Mitch close to him. Mitch's head rested on Jerome's chest. "I'd never leave you."

"Never?" Mitch asked, staring up at Jerome. The taller of the two connected their lips together.

"Never."

Nine months later, Mitch and Jerome found themselves at the hospital. Mitch laid in the hospital bed, cradiling the baby girl. Both males had huge smiles on their face. The baby slept soundly. Their baby. A nurse walked in, and asked what the name for their daughter was. They turned to each other and instantly knew.

"Betty."
