A/N:It's been forever since I updated this story. My interest in Code Geass has waned considerably. However, I still wish to work on it and at least try to update some stories. I know my reviews have taken over the portion of my stories and for that I apologize, however I want to at least try to finish some of my stories. Something that seems impossible now but might seem conceivable in the near future. Yup, this is a short-ass chapter, because number one, I'm lazy. Number two, I have other stories I have motivation for. Number three, my ear is hurting me badly right now and I just want to sleep. Number four, I have forgotten how to write this, so you'll understand why the story suddenly sucks.

Also, a lot of my earlier Geass fics fucking suck. Especially the Prince and the Alchemist. Especially Rolo of the Rebellion. I died of laughter reading them, they're just so bad.

Anyhow, um, on to the story.

Nearly two years, fuck, I'm sorry for the late update. Thanks to TTY7 for helping me get back on track with this silly story.

Chapter 10 The heart remembers what the body forgets (memories linger)

He was in a nice, soft place.

That's what he recognized when he woke up.

There was a figure draped over him, a blanket over both of them.

Wasn't it...S-Suguha?

Why was she asleep next to him?

Quickly, Kirito panicked, thinking of something, anything to do, when his cousin turned over, mumbling stuff in her sleep, that he almost didn't catch.

Gently, he pushed her aside before letting out a loud yawn himself and sitting up.

"Sugu, don't sleep on my bed, sleep on your own." He groaned.

She awoke, and then her face flushed beet-red upon seeing her uncompromising position, at which point she moved away.

"Sorry!" She yelped, running out of the room.

'Are all siblings this weird?' He thought, trying to think of the image of the sweet little girl he'd met in his dream and hold onto it, but it was slipping faster and faster from his mind.

There was an image of a sweet brunette girl with blue eyes as bright as the sky, who chirped, onii-chan, before she looked just like Silica-chan, before she looked like Suguha, before changing into the image of that odd green-haired girl. Who the hell was she and why did she keep on appearing in his dreams?

At least that odd eye pain of his had gone away, that had been extremely cumbersome.

He sighed, wondering what other oddities would come his way.

Would he be ready for them, whatever they may be?
