After a chat with Yusei and Griger, Miles began to drive Leo and Luna back to the apartment. Whatever was bugging him had intensified tenfold, the pain in his stomach like that of a thousand knives. He grunted every once in a while on the way back with sweat was running down his face. A migraine starting as he kept his breathing steady and just focused on how much further he needed to drive.

3 more miles…. Just 15 minutes keep it together man keep it together!

"I bet his runner is huge!" Leo said

"For all we know it's probably just a standard, plus its not like it makes a difference for the duel tomorrow" Luna said. Both of them talking about Griger's runner, something he had mentioned he couldn't wait to bring out tomorrow when he dueled Yusei.

"Are you kidding it totally does Luna, if he falls off or if Yusei overlaps him too much he could lose the duel that way"

"Leo how many times has that actually happened in a duel" She pointed out as Leo was left without words, resting his chin on his hand as Luna sighed then looked to Miles. She let out a short gasp when she saw how much he was shaking, Miles not realizing he was, and even the glisten of sweat on his now pale skin. She then tapped Leo on the shoulder, he unresting his head, and pointed to Miles. He looked shocked when he saw how pale he was, looking ghostly.

"Uh you ok Miles?" Leo asked as Miles kept his attention glued to the road.

"I'm…grrr just fine Leo" he said through his teeth trying to compensate the pain in his stomach by biting down. Of course neither Leo nor Luna bought his bad lie. Luna was about to say something when Miles runner began to swerve, the first catching the siblings off guard.

"WHOA!" Leo and Luna said in unison as Miles quickly shook off his woozy feelings and tried to readjust his runner.

Almost there, He thought as to his salvation his garage was in the distance. Opening up he parked his runner, badly though practically still going 20 as he entered in there and stopped on a hard break that almost lurched his siblings out of their sidecar. Leo and Luna jumped out quick while Miles tried to crawl off his runner. When he managed to get off his seat he fell, his legs feeling too weak to stand. Leo and Luna quickly jumped to him, and helped him on to his knees.

"Miles what's the matter?" Leo asked worried, Luna just as frightened. Miles just silently moaned in pain, both of them could see that he wasn't going to get up on his own anytime soon. Luna looked at Leo

"You grab him on his left I got his right" Luna said as Leo nodded as they got under his arms quick.

"1, 2, 3" Leo said as they heaved him up, his knees being dragged as they took him to the elevator. Both of them grunting at how heavy he was, as they hit the button for their penthouse Miles mouth began to twitch as he lurched and jutted a bit.

"Oh no Miles don't" Luna told him as he forced back whatever was coming up, keeping his tongue plugging up his throat. "Ew!" Luna said in revolt as Leo felt himself getting a sick feeling seeing Miles like this.

"Gross what the heck happened dude!?"

Earlier at the snack bar

"Ok here's your pretzel" the cashier said as he handed Miles his delicious salty snack. Miles thanked the man with a nod and smile before walking away. But just as he turned around he could swear he heard someone sneeze. He didn't think anything of it but unknown to him that cashier was the source of his future sickness.

Now back to what matters

Miles was forcing back the urge to puke the whole ride up, he getting dangerously close to when the door opened to their place. Leo and Luna rushed him to the trash can in the kitchen and let him go at it, Luna holding his hair show it didn't get barfed on. Helping him out of the trash can, Leo and Luna looked at Miles who's eyes were watery and his nose getting runny.

"Geez you look worse than before" Leo said as Miles looked at him angerly, in no mood to hear it from Leo.

"Get him on the couch" Luna said as they dragged him to the living room and hopped him up on the couch, Leo grabbing his legs and Luna his front to get him up. Luna knelt down and put her ear to his chest, with no mom or dad to kiss her boo boo's growing up she knew a little bit about medicine. She listened to his heartbeat it was steady, his skin was clamy, and from the way he was scrunching his eyes Luna could tell he had a headache. "Go get him some asprin and water Leo" she said as he nodded then ran back into the kitchen. Luna started taking off Miles jacket, throwing it aside, then peeled off his soaked grey T. Miles was cringing in pain but eased as Luna set her hand on his chest "Take a breath Miles" she told him as Miles gripped his hands to fists, to keep him from cringing anymore, and took a deep breath. Leo hurried back with the bottle of asprin and glass of water. Luna took them and set the water down, opening the bottle of asprin. "Thanks Leo" she said as she got 3 asprins out and made Miles swallow them. Just then the phone rang

"I got it" Leo said as he ran over to the video phone as Luna grabbed the water and began to make Miles drink it. Miles looked a little eased, even though the medicine hadn't done its job yet. Luna knew the reason why, he just felt comfortable when she took care of him. "Yeah… Okay I'll be there in a few" Leo said as he hung up. "Luna!" He said as he began for the elevator.

"What!?"

"Dex has my deck, I'm gonna go get so I'll be back soon"

"Okay I'll just be here" She said, hearing the elevator ding, signaling that Leo had left. She sighed as Miles began to snore lightly, scooting to his head she gave his forehead a quick peck before getting up. "You better get better" she said teasingly as Miles rested easy.

Sometime later…

If Miles had a dollar for every time he was awakened by food he'd probably have enough to gold plate his runner. Luna was in the kitchen eating some soup, it must've had a lot of noodles in it because Miles could hear Luna slurping alot. Then a big whiff of chicken brisked to his nose, his mouth starting to water as he sat up. Luna peeking her head over the counter when she heard him beginning to rustle.

"Hey sleepy head" she said as miles smiles as he stretched out his shoulders

"Hey Luny girl, I'll take a soup extra noodles" he said as Luna chuckled and hopped out of her seat at the table and went over to the pot on their stove. Miles sniffled a bit with a cough, his stomach feeling loads better than what it had been but he still felt a little fluish. Luna hopped over to Miles real quick and handed him his soup then his spoon. At first he ditched the spoon and just decided to drink it out of the bowl.

"Hey your going to get the couch dirty!" she said as he stopped and chuckled.

"Okay sorry mom I'll take the spoon" he said as he took the spoon and shoveled some noodles in his mouth, Luna smiling at her goofy brother.

"Should I take it your feeling better?" she asked

"I'd say I'm about twenty-five percent better" he said as he rubbed his hand over his head to wipe off some sweat. Luna a second later helping by rubbing her sleeve over his forehead.

"Well then I'd say I'm twenty-five less worried then" Luna said in response as Miles chuckled and hooked her into his arm and dragged her into the couch with him. She went into a laughing fit as Miles tickled her sides

"AH AH STOOPPP hahahhahaha"she pleaded as he in a snap he did and just held her on top of him, she still giggling a little. "You… big jerk…" she said through little bursts of laughter even giving him a light smack on the chest. He chuckled as he shuffled his hand through her hair, slightly messing it up but she didn't care. "What was that for anyway" Luna asked as Miles just ran his hand through her hair.

"Just because Luny just because" he answered as he swore he felt her smile on his chest. It was then Miles realized that the house was quieter than it should be, no sounds of video games, TV, or an even louder noodle slurping noise. "Luna…where's Leo?"

"He said he went to Dex's place to get his deck" she said as Miles got suspicious

"Is that really what happened?" he asked as Luna shook her head as Miles sighed. "Okay what did he do this time?"

"He broke into Griger's garage to see his new runner" His eyes widen when she said that, almost jumping off the couch.

"WHAT!?"

"Don't worry he didn't get in trouble"

"What how?"

"Yusei, Griger found Leo and he was with Yusei when he did and let him off the hook" Luna explained

"He'd better have his butt heading home right now"

"He would be but he's not feeling good either" Luna said

"Huh what?"

"Yeah he must've got whatever you have. So yusei and Griger said they'll keep him overnight and bring him to the tournament tomorrow" Luna said as she reached in her pockets and gave Miles a piece of paper with a phone number on it "I got their number in case you wanted to call"

"Smart thinking Luny" he said picking up his soup from the ground and resuming slurping it, Luna just giving up on making him use a spoon. Downing the rest of it in no time, having eaten most of the noodles on his first slurp, Miles smacked his lips as he set the bowl back down, Luna letting out another laugh as he did.

"What?" he asked as Luna composed herself and pointed at her brother.

"Your face" she said as Miles on nature just brushed off his cheek thinking something was on it. Luna shaking her head in response

"No dummy around your lips" she said as she stroked her finger under his lip, picking up broth and a noodle bit. "god your messy" Luna said licking her finger clean.

"Oh be quite or ill tickle you again" Miles teased

"Promise?" she said in response as Miles laughed then rubbed her head again.

"And you say I'm goofy" he said as Luna laughed into his chest and just laid on top of him, loving how warm he was. Maybe it was from him being sick, but at this point she didn't care if he was or if she'd get sick because of him. She wouldn't want to be anywhere but with her brother right now, and Miles felt the same way. Not that many people would care about him enough to take care of him when he was sick, especially Leo. He'd never say it aloud but Luna was his favorite out of the two.

The two watched T.V and movies till late at night, when It started to rain. Luna shook a little when she heard the storm begin to get worse, a fear she'd had for as long as Miles could remember. He held her tighter, letting her know that everything was fine even as the thunder began to crash down. He stroked the back of her head till he didn't feel her shake anymore only feeling the gentle snores of her sleeping then. Then soon enough he fell asleep as well, the two sleeping easy with each other's company.
