Disclaimer: As always I want to thank you all for the reviews as well as Jackpot 2 for adding it to the favorites. Also, AKA99 gets extra points for pointing out the Arc-V reference lol! Now here's the change of pace for this week's update, they won't be watching anything at either of their homes and you'll find out why, so they're taking it to the theaters to pay for watching Frozen & Jersey Boys. Now I didn't watch either of these films but in the case of Frozen, it was so popular and everywhere-you-looked that you could pretty much sum up what it was about. It might sound a little clichéd coming from me especially because it's a Disney movie but from what little I've seen it's still a beautiful film worth seeing. As for Jersey Boys, didn't see it either but Christopher freakin' Walken is in it! That alone should be enough to see it! The reason I picked it was because of the music, namely Big Girls Don't Cry, Walk Like a Man & of course Sherry(my favorite one of the three). Special thanks goes to The Little Black ROse for the suggestion! Let's get started on torturing the boys, enjoy chapter 10!

Chapter 10: Heartland Boys

"I'm disappointed in both of you," Kaito scolded Yuma and Ryoga over their D-Gazers, "you underestimated the girls and now we're here!"

"Shut up Kaito, it's your fault too!" Ryoga responded, "if you'd have shown up like you were supposed to we wouldn't have had to face Rio and Kotori in Duel Period!"

"And lose to them in the bet?" Yuma chimed in.

"Shut up Yuma, you're not helping!"

All three boys made their way to the Heartland Movie Theatre in their motorcycles while Kaito flew there via Orbital 7. Apparently Kaito couldn't make it to the school to practice dueling with Yuma and Ryoga due to him and Chris having a duel of their own during their break. Losing track of time, he didn't make it so Rio and Kotori stepped in for a tag team duel. Rio was feeling confident so she placed a bet that should the girls lose then they would treat the boys to a movie, but if the boys lost then they'd still see the movie, alone. Worse, not only would they have to pay for it, but they had to watch the film of the girls' choosing, which meant nothing good to them. Yuma was still too nervous around the girls after watching 'Sleepaway Camp' so Ryoga had to accept the challenge for them. If Rio was feeling confident then Ryoga was cocky.

Yuma received a motorcycle of his own like Ryoga's, his father saw that he had no way of transportation and also noticed how late to school he always was so he bought him one from Crow's Shop & Repair. Now he was able to get to school a lot quicker, he would still arrive late but not as late as he usually was. There were times when Yuma would challenge Ryoga to a race but after countless rejections the Water duelist finally gave in, only for them to be met with another detention to add to their growing pile. They never raced again after that. Instead, Yuma tried a new tactic he learned in class, he actually tried dueling on the bike! That ended as soon as it began but only Yuma was crazy enough to give it a try.

With the three of them heading to the theatre, Kaito continued to scold his companions, "you underestimated your sister, you never underestimate your sister!"

"Yuma chocked when it was his turn!" Ryoga defended himself, "he's been keeping his distance from Kotori all week! Do you know how annoying it is havin' to hear her complain about her problems with him?!"

"I keep seeing Angela in my dreams!"Yuma wailed dramatically, "that face! That sound! That-"

"Alright, I've heard enough!" Kaito noticed that they were finally there and they got off their vehicles.

"Well if Rio and Kotori aren't coming with us then how do they know we'll do this? Can't we just leave and say we watched this, what was it called again?"

"Frozen," Yuma replied, "typical Rio, she would make us watch a movie named something like that!"

Kaito spoke up again, "if it's anything like MLP-"

"Just be glad it's not MLP," Ryoga stated, "and yeah, go right ahead and ditch us, ohh what Rio will do to you when she finds out-"

"Oh you'd like that, wouldn't you? What, are you going to rat me out?"

"No but someone will."

Both boys turned their gaze to Yuma munching on two corndogs, he eventually noticed they were glaring at him, "what? What I do now?"

"Where did you get those corndogs?!" Kaito asked, ignoring that Yuma couldn't be the rat.

"Mmm, bought 'em, they're pretty good," Yuma continued munching on his pre-show food. The two boys shook the idea of how he got the food and not any for them.

"Oh they're really good?" Ryoga sarcastically asked until he made his move by struggling with the young duelist for the food, "they're really goo-let's just see how good they really are when I-"

Before they realized it, they were already at the counter when a familiar voice spoke to them.

"Hey guys!"

All three turned to see Tetsuo with his confident smirk.

"You," Kaito growled, "you're the rat."

Tetsuo looked confused and he shook it off, "I saw you guys lose to Rio and Kotori so she asked me to make sure you guys watched Frozen, saved you the last three tickets."

"Wait wait," Yuma finished his last corndog, "so Rio asked you to watch over us like children?"

"Yep, they wanted you guys to keep your end of the bet!"

"And why did you agree to it?" Ryoga threatened.

"Well…she asked me nicely, I guess."

"So let's see if I got this right," Kaito crossed his arms, "the girls asked you to keep watch on us while we watched Frozen…and you ended up getting a job here?"

"Weeellll…yeah, that sounds about right."

Kaito blankly looked at him until he turned around to see Ryoga and Yuma.

"Sounds legit to me," he sarcastically stated, "what do you two think?"

"You don't wanna' know what I think," Ryoga responded.

"Well I-"

"And no one wants to know what you think either, Yuma."

The young duelist stuck his tongue out at Ryoga. The three boys paid for their tickets and went inside, each with a thought of his own.

"I'll be keeping a close eye on this one," Kaito thought.

"Hope he trips over a chair or something," Ryoga thought to himself.

"Later!" Yuma exclaimed, once he turned around he saw the banner with 'Frozen' printed across the characters. Within them, he saw two females standing in front, leading him to realize that they were the main characters. Feeling nervous around girls again, he turned to Kaito and Ryoga.

"Uh, guys? Is it okay if I stay at the food court while you wat-"

"No!"

"Now get over here, you're watching this too!"

40 minutes in…

"I hate that snowman," Kaito muttered.

"I want to take that carrot nose of his and shove it up his-"

"Aw c'mon Ryoga," Yuma smirked, "he's not melting your cold heart? He-he-ow!"

"SHHH!"

The Water duelist responded with a smack to the back of Yuma's head, "what did I tell you about the ice puns?"

"Leave 'em in the cooler so they stay fresh?"

The young duelist was met with another slap to the back of his head.

"What?! I can't help it!"

"SHH!"

"Sorry."

Kaito turned back to the two boys and rolled his eyes, "and just like that, Olaf is tolerable."

2 minutes later…

"So this Elsa has ice powers," Ryoga recounted, "no wonder Rio loves this character so much, she's practically the embodiment of her."

"Minus the cold attitude," Yuma spoke up.

"Shut up Yuma."

"Who does the Troll King remind you of, then?" Kaito asked them only to be met with the simultaneous and figurative answer, "Vector."

30 minutes later…

"Aw what a scumbag," Ryoga stated, angrily, "are you serious?"

"He was actually going to marry Anna to control that kingdom?" Yuma asked rhetorically, "why? It's a winter wonderland, building snowmen can get boring at some point."

"That explains why we're here from dueling," Kaito sighed, "well, he had me fooled, I'll admit."

"Yeah, I'll agree with you there, so you better not tell Rio!"

"I won't if you won't."

The two boys agreed and turned to face Yuma so he'd agree too but saw that he was munching on two handfuls of popcorn.

"Where'd you get that?!" Ryoga retorted.

"From the guy in front, he didn't even notice."

"Why can't you be a normal human being and just walk out of here to go buy some-"

"Ryoga, shut up," Kaito halted him, "you let him walk out of here he will not come back."

Just as he realized what he meant, the Water duelist returned his focus on Yuma only to see the young duelist already slowly walking out.

"Get back here!"

He grabbed him and sat the kid back down, in between him and Kaito. Yuma crossed his arms and huffed in annoyance.

Another 30 minutes later…

"Okay Tetsuo, you can go on break now."

"Thanks, Boss."

Just as Tetsuo left his booth and stretched his legs, his D-Gazer rang and he answered.

"Hey Rio!"

"Hey Tetsuo, did the guys show up yet?"

"Yeah, they've been here for a while now, I directed them to the movie just as you asked!"

"Well we're gonna' go check them out."

"Okay, how long until you're here?"

"Me and Kotori are already here, look up ahead!"

Tesuo looked up and saw Kotori smiling and Rio waving at him as they hung up.

"I saw them go in," he said, "the movie should be over right about-"

At that point, the doors swung open and out popped a singing Yuma.

"Feel the floooooow, feel the floooooowwww, all over the dueling field!"

"Ohh," Kotori face-palmed, "I really don't know what to make of this."

"I attaaaack, play a caaaaaard, protect me, XYZ shield."

At that point, Kaito and Ryoga walked out, frowning.

"So," Rio curiously asked, "how'd it go?"

The boys just glared at her and turned everyone's attention to the singing Yuma.

"I don't caaaaare what the challenge may beeeee!"

"You see what you've started?" Kaito growled.

Ryoga turned to Kototri, "good luck with that, he's your problem again."

They then made their way to the singing boy and began to haul him away as he continued his verse.

"I will high-five the sky, I overlay this song with Kotori-"

"I don't even want to know what that means!" Ryoga yelled.

"Hey! Wait!" Rio exclaimed, "what about us? We took a bus here and we're out of money, how will we get home?"

"That wasn't part of the bet," Kaito responded, "we saw Frozen, this happened, and now we're leaving."

Rio fumed, "Kaito, Ryoga, you guys give me a ride home right now!"

"Yuma!" Kotori joined in, "if you don't give me a ride home right now-"

"I don't think he'll be giving a ride to anyone at this point," Ryoga sarcastically replied, this just made the girls angrier. Tetsuo was just watching the whole thing in the sidelines, amused.

"If you don't take me home, Yuma, I won't cook you anything for a month!"

This terrified Yuma even more so than Sleepaway Camp, this caused him to quiver in fear.

"Be a man, Yuma," Ryoga encouraged him, "just let it go."

"Aw shut up Ryoga!" Kaito snapped, "that song is going to be stuck in my head all week!"

"Hey, it's better than what that Derulo idiot came up with, did you hear what he said about the girls here? He has no idea what the fu-!"

"Can you guys just please take us home?!" the girls yelled, but the boys responded by leaving the place.

"I'll take you girls home," Tesuo said cheerfully, Rio and Kotori just sighed in defeat.

"Could you give us a minute?" Kotori asked, Tetsuo obeyed and left the girls while he went to get them snacks from the food court. She then turned to the Ice Queen.

"Rio, call Anna."

They boys were riding off as Yuma wailed due to him not getting food from Kotori for the month.

"This is worse than when he was singing!" Ryoga thought, "Yuma, let it g-"

"Ryoga I swear on all my Galaxy-Eyes cards!" Kaito yelled out, "I will make the worse ice pun-"

"Alright! Fine!"

"Hey guy! Look!" Yuma pointed at another movie theater, this one looked rather elegant in appearance, "it looks so cool!"

Ryoga read the film names as they stopped, "Jersey Boys?" he stopped at that one, "sounds like a mafia movie."

"Good," Kaito landed and joined them, "exactly what we need to melt the cutesy stuff from Frozen."

"What did I say about the ice puns!"

"What did I say about the song?!"

The boys decided that they would watch Jersey Boys and even bought snacks to keep Yuma in his seat. After paying for their tickets and entering the movie booth, Kaito offered Yuma his bag of popcorn and even a corndog.

"No thanks," Yuma said, "I'm not hungry."

Both Kaito and Ryoga turned around in amazement, not only was this the first time they heard him say that but after all the food trouble they went through, the young duelist was full? Before they could even come up with any kind of reaction, the movie started.

2 hours and 24 minutes later…

"Not what I expected," Ryoga said as they walked out of the theater, half intrigued and half dissappointed, "there was a mafia but-"

"But what?!" Kaito sarcastically asked, "you didn't like it because you saw a doo-wop version of One Direction?"

"I think they sound good," Yuma casually stated, causing the boys to look back at him in confusion. They shook it off and turned back to each other.

"Well," Kaito said, "I know which song I'm dedicating to-"

"You will do no such thing!" Ryoga argued back.

"Too late, I'm calling dibs for Sherry."

"Are you hearing yourself? I get Sherry!"

"I'm older-"

"So you get Walk Like A Man, fits you perfectly!"

"Guys, guys," Yuma stepped in the middle, "I'll be taking Sherry."

"Over my corpse!"

"You can say that again."

"Shut up, Ryoga! You can take Big Girls Don't Cry!"

"You baka! Do you know what Saichi will think of that title?!"

The three boys continued arguing for a while, mostly Kaito and Ryoga while Yuma occasionally stepped in only for them to yell him out of it. After a while it continued and until it ended, Yuma gave up so he ended up sleeping on the ground.

To be continued…

A/N: Thanks for reading guys! Review and leave a suggestion, always open to hear some! Now, the boys saw one of the most talked-about films from this past year as well as one of the most, if not the most, heard song. So they might've had it a little easier here, aside from which song they'll dedicate to their respective girlfriends, but next week they'll deal with someone who can make their OPTIMALly lives seem dark, make them SCREAM to the STARs, and childhoods AUTOBOTically DECEIPT-aaahhh screw it, I suck at puns. Anna will join them to watch Michael Bay's Transformers franchise! And yes, the most recent one will be included. The Queen of Machines will be joining our terrific trio so don't miss it! Until next time!
