Roman had returned to the road only a day or so after he had saved Jade. On the flight back his mind kept wanting to go over what happened. He was still trying to piece it all together. How she looked...in the hospital and in...well Hell. He still couldn't believe it even though he experienced it. He couldn't believe how much different he looked. How did he look like that, why did he look like that?

How was he able to fool them, even if for just a short time? Surely they would be able to see through a disguise. "Stop beating yourself up does it matter? You succeeded." He told himself.
"Drink Mr. Reigns?" The flight attendant asked him.
"No thank you. How long till we land?"
"About another hour Sir, then you will have your debriefing."
"Okay thank you."

The small plane landed at a military base of some kind as was normal for him after this type of work. Stepping off with his bags he was greeted by the normal escorts taking him to some sort of room for questioning. He was used to most of this rundown. Being told good work, that he was not to talk about it to the outside. The normal...that was until...
"Whatever you saw when trying to bring Ms. Lindsey, it's best you forget it. Also her." The officer told him.

Roman lifted his head tilting it to look at him. "What do you mean forget her?" There was accidentally a faint growl to his voice.
"Calm yourself Mr. Reigns." He was told. "We know you & the subject travel much the same circles."
"I have hardly any interactions with her though. I didn't even know much till I reached the hospital."
"We know that is not fully true, such as the gifts you have left her. Your surveillance of her and her whereabouts."

Roman bared his teeth some his hands wanting to clench into fists. "You been tailing me?!"
"If you must know, more so her."
"Why is she so special? Or is it her father? Which one is your operative?"
"That's a need to know mater."
"I risked myself to get her back for you. Don't you think I have the right to know?"
"No...you are dismissed. A car will take you back to your group." The officer turned and left without another word. Roman fought not to punch the table before he stood up to leave. He was greeted right outside the room by his escort to take him off the base.

Roman got to the hotel and got to the front desk to find his room. Once he got the room & key he headed upstairs swiping the key to enter the suite. "Well if you ain't a sight." Seth exclaimed looking over from the couch.
"Who the fuck is it?" Dean called out from the separate bedroom area.
"It's Rome!" Seth called out.
"What the fuck?" Dean came walking out in grey sweats his lips pursed as he ran a hand through his ruffled hair. "So where the fuck you been?"

Roman sighed. "I can't go into it, I just had an emergency."
"Can't go into it? How many of these fucking things must we deal with Roman?" Dean asked walking closer. "We are suppose to be friends, a team...like brothers. You're keeping secrets though." He tilted his head looking at him. "This isn't the first time you just had to take off for an...emergency."

"I'm sorry okay. I wish I could say it would be the last but I doubt it. Wrestling is not my only obligation."
"Well it should be, or you won't ever reach the top. How do we know your lack of dedication won't keep the two of us down too?"
"Dean don't start." Seth stated. "Come on...we are like the most dominant force in the company in years. So we had to stand on our own two feet for a few days. It's not the end of the world."

"But as a family...a brotherhood we should be able to rely on each other. Yes we stood fine without him, but what if we would have needed him and he was nowhere to be found?"
"Just calm down. He's back, he's fine, we are fine."
"Fine." Dean huffed before heading back for the bedroom.
Seth shook his head before he stood up. He walked over patting Roman's shoulder. "Just relax, you know how Dean can be. He is suppose to be the unstable one, unpredictable. Order in chaos. I don't care why you had to vanish on us. Vince nor Hunter seemed to get pissed off when we said you weren't around, so why should we get pissed."

"I really am sorry. I wish I could explain." Roman stated.
"Whatever." Seth shrugged. "You took care of whatever though?"
"Yeah...for now."
"Good so come on & relax before we need to hit the gym later." Roman nodded taking his jacket off before joining Seth on the couch to watch whatever the smaller man had on.
