Arryn came back to the church and Garter was waiting for him and stared him down. "What do you want, Garter?" Arryn asked, feeling uncomfortable.

"Why the hell were you with two demons?"

"What? How did you know that?" Something bumped into the back of his legs and he turned around to find Chuck standing behind him with a pair of binoculars and a walkie talkie.

"You can understand what Chuck says?" Arryn asked skeptically. In response, Garterbelt picked him up by the back of his hoodie and threw him into Stocking's room before shutting and locking the door.

Arryn ran towards the door and slammed on it. "Let me out!" He stopped when he questioned why the doors were locked from the outside. Then he remembered that the church was Garter's and he was a weird man.

Arryn paced back and forth in Stocking's room. He couldn't break down the door. He didn't want to owe Garter anything. Not to mention the windows in Stocking's room weren't capable of being opened. If only Stocking were there, then he'd be let out soon.

"Hey, what the hell are you doing in my room?" he heard Stocking demand drowsily.

"Stocking? You're still here?" Arryn asked. She was buried under her blanket, a few pillows, and a few stuffed animals. No wonder he couldn't see her.

"Garterbelt threw me in here and locked the door," he explained.

"Were you hanging out with those slutty Demons again?" she asked. He nodded his head. With a sigh, Stocking rose out of bed and walked to her closet, grabbing a gothic dress and slipping it on.

"You're way too much of a goody-goody, Arryn. Just knock down the door." She gave the door a powerful kick that could have turned it to splinters…somehow. However, nothing happened.

"What the hell?"
"Arryn is not to be let out," Garter called out from the other side of the door.

"Damn Afro Priest," Stocking grumbled.

Arryn suddenly felt exhausted and stumbled back from the door. Stocking turned to him and quickly acted. As Arryn fell asleep and fell, she grabbed a large stuffed animal from her bed and put it behind him so that he'd have a soft landing.

Through war, one may become two

The light and the dark clash

And forge themselves more powerful than ever

They are, we are, I am

Nephilim.

"What the hell are you talking about?" Stocking asked kneeling down next to him. Just like in the café, his right hand clawed at the floor. His scarf was set ablaze with a blue flame.

X - Half 'n Half - X

Two halves engaged in combat. One, an Angel, the other, a Demon. The Demon wielded a black and red longsword while the Angel carried nothing. The Demon slashed at the Angel, but he quickly evaded it by ducking under the blade and retaliated by slamming his foot up against the Demon's chin. He jumped up and roundhouse kicked him, forcing the Demon to back away.

"You're doing better than before," he growled.
"I suppose I am, me," the Angel answered.

"We have to stop calling each other that. Just call me Oni," the Demon said.

"Very well, if you are Oni, I suppose you may call me Tenshi," the Angel said. "Not the most original names in the world, but they will do."

The two rushed each other. Oni turned the sword in his hands into a war hammer and swung down at Tenshi's head. He moved to the right and avoided the hammer before swinging the back of his fist at Oni's neck.

Oni used his free hand to block the strike and kicked Tenshi back before lifting the hammer up and running at him. He swung the hammer down, aiming for Tenshi's head, but Tenshi leaped back. Instead of hitting his head, the hammer slammed into his right leg, breaking the bone.
Tenshi let out a scream of agony, but continued to evade Oni as best he could by putting all his strength into his left leg to leap away.

X - Half 'n Half - X

A Demon man appeared from nowhere and kneeled down next to Arryn, placing a hand on the boy's head, an image of Arryn's two halves duking it out with each other. He held a hand out to Stocking.

"What do you want?" she asked. He pointed down at her stockings.

"Arryn needs a weapon. He's holding his own quite well with his bare fists, but they're both equally powerful. His dark half has a weapon though, so it's only a matter of time," he explained.

"Don't you have one?"

The man shook his head in response and said, "My weapon is long gone."

Stocking removed her weapons and placed one of them in Arryn's left hand, which he gripped tightly. Stocking kept her hand on Arryn's own and having her other sword ready. She glared at the man suspiciously. "If you try anything, you're going down," he threatened.

The Demon smiled sweetly and nodded his head in response. When he noticed Tenshi's leg was broken, his smile dropped into a frown. "Looks like he needs a little more help. Ms. Anarchy, I want you to lay your head down onto his chest and listen to his heartbeat."
She hesitated at first and it was only until the Demon backed away from Arryn and her that she complied. She pressed her right ear over his chest and listened for a pulse. Her eyes grew heavy and she passed out when she heard his heart.

X - Half 'n Half - X

The next moment, she was witnessing the battle between Arryn's two halves firsthand.
Tenshi was thrown to the ground, his right leg crushed, one of Stocking's swords in his left hand.
"Looks like I win," Oni said snidely, raising his weapon, in the form of an axe. When he swung it down on Tenshi, ready to kill him, Stocking moved in the way and blocked the strike.

"What are you doing here?" Oni demanded. He was immediately pushed back.

Stocking took her other sword from Arryn and held them in front of her defensively. "I'm here to save his ass," Stocking exclaimed.

"This close, you bitch, I was this close to victory!"

Stocking stayed in place, standing protectively in front of Tenshi. "Come at me, bitch," she taunted.
Oni charged at her and swung his axe, but before it could make contact with Stocking and her swords, her vision blackened. When she realized her eyes were closed, she quickly opened them and found her back in her room.

The Demon from before was fading away. "Ms. Anarchy, this is where I take my leave. Thank you for saving him. Before I go, you must promise me that you will not tell Arryn about me. It's not time for him to know about me."

"You're not worth mentioning anyways," she said. "Just go away."

The Demon chuckled and vanished from sight just as the blue flames emanating from Arryn's scarf extinguished and he woke up. "Took you long enough to wake up, you lazy bum," Stocking grumbled. She gave him a snide smirk when he responded to her wake-up comment with an irritated expression.

He gave a loud yawn before rubbing his eyes. "You know what's funny. I had a dream where I was fighting myself and you were there and you protected me. You were also fighting me too. I was happy, but angry too."
Stocking raised a brow and thought, "He thinks it was just a dream? Sounds like he experienced the fight from two separate perspectives too." She huffed and, with a teasing tone, said, "Isn't that adorable? You were dreaming of me."

He laughed softly before standing up, a little shakily. He stumbled to the door and kicked it down with Garterbelt still on the other side. He stepped across the fallen door, putting pressure on the priest's body before he headed out of the church to the city.

X - Half 'n Half - X

Panty sighed as she finished, but rather than out of satisfaction of the activity she took part in just a moment ago, it was out of apathy. For some reason, she wasn't feeling very well and it was starting to mentally exhaust her. Something was off about her.

The man lying next to her in bed looked at her with concern and asked, "Is something wrong?"

"I don't know," she answered, "I'm not feeling to hot." She didn't object one bit when the man sat up in the bed and placed a hand over her forehead.
"You certainly FEEL hot. I think you have a fever. Here, I'll drive you home, Panty." He helped her out of bed and once both of them were dressed, they got into See Through and drove off to the church. Garter and Stocking were in for an exhausting day.

Author's Note:

Sorry I took so long. For one thing, I've had a number of distractions lately. Some of them were justified, but most of them weren't. Like getting a new game for my PS3 or trying to unlock the secret story of Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep Final Mix on the 2.5 HD Remix. (Which I still haven't done, because I have to beat the Final Episode on the top difficulty to beat it! =_= )

I feel really bad for making you guys wait, so I'll try to pick up the pace.

The next chapter is going to be mostly for comedic purposes, but will have a bit of important story stuff, as it will be introducing a new character. However, again, it's mostly just for shits and giggles.

Thank you for reading.
