This is chapter 9.5! Yep, that's right! I throw a filler in this mess! I hope you enjoy this short one! ^^;

Rukia was having a busy day.
It wasn't that she had everyone booked in a single day. As a matter of fact, she only had a couple of appointments and those were in the afternoon. Yet today seemed to be the perfect day for people to come and have their teeth checked-up. Not only that, but she had a few very difficult clients. That old lady for example.
Rukia rubbed her temples as a migraine started growing. That old woman had come for a check up, but oh Kami...
Rukia was raised in a graceful, rich and polite environment. Her parents had made quite a fortune in business with her brother succeeding their father's empire while she followed her dream in medicine. She was polite by nature and quite proud of her name, family and work. She rarely showed signs of discomfort or annoyance, always hiding her emotions behind a polite smile or a scowling mask (a trick her brother had trusted her it helped). She had never physically attacked anyone, save when she was young (she was quite uncontrollable back then) and sometimes now and then, and she never thought she would in the future.
How wrong was she.
The woman was relentless. Rukia was sure she had met her match at her. She went on and on about her life and sons, daughters and grandchildren, babbling on and on telling stories Rukia didn't care about. And now that she thought about it, she wasn't even sure if they were appropriate for her to even know! Like that particular story about one of her grandsons. Rukia's face grew grim and pale; actually she didn't even want to remember it. And don't get her started on the husband. Rukia groaned slowly; she had given the old woman all the tissues and handkerchiefs in her drawers, just so the woman stopped crying.
Thankfully Rukia had stopped listening before her brain decided to have a total break-down while holding the syringe and poke somebody's eye out. Not that it hadn't been a great idea, but it would look bad in her records and she had a reputation to keep in dentistry. In between that, she was sure she heard her say that she was perfect match for her youngest grandson; she had figured it would be best to ignore the woman and get on with her work. Which thankfully she did and now she was free from that woman's evil clutches.
Feeling her brain swelling, she massaged her head and decided it was enough thought about that old hag. Unless she wanted the headache a permanent thing and trust her she had enough in her life as it was right now.
She glanced at the wall clock and quickly stood up. Mentally she cursed as it was way too late than she thought. Putting on her coat and taking her purse she walked out of her office. As she was about to open the front door and exit, she was thrown back stumbling.
"What the-"
"Ooooi~! Anybody here?" the voice was loud and bounced off walls and windows, making veins pop at Rukia's forehead. Gripping her purse tightly she quickly swung it to the monkey that had just entered. A rather tall monkey.
A slam and an ugh later, Rukia found herself glaring at the fallen man, "W-W-What the fuck!" Wild red hair flew and deep brown eyes stared up at her as if she was crazy, "Are you insane? You could have killed me!"
The petite woman rolled her eyes, "Shut up, will you?" her fingers touched her temple lightly, "I have a headache, don't yell."
He clenched his teeth, "And was that a reason to hit, you control-freak midget." he all but hissed, making Rukia open her eyes. The glare he received was enough to squeeze the life out of him.
"Huh?" he soon found a shoe at his face, "What the hell did you say, you tattooed-freak gorilla?"
A huge vein popped in his forehead, "Ah, you see..." Rukia raised a brow as he hissed out the words, his eyes glaring daggers at her, "I would punch you right now, but you are a woman and I learned to respect women."
Rukia rolled her eyes, "A true gentleman, I see."
"And I also take it you are bribing me by flashing your panties at me." Rukia felt her cheeks heating up, "But you should know that you are bribing a young man and not a boy. Seriously though I don't even know if kids fall for panties with rabbits anymore."
A few kicks and a bloody nose later, Rukia was fixing her coat and placed her black scarf around her neck, "So." She turned around to the man who was at the ground holding his bleeding nose, "Why are you here, Renji?"
"Ah cahn ta sea ha ya gohn wit ma hahna"
Rukia blinked, "...enlightening as always, I see."
Whipping some blood from his nose and mouth, Renji tried again, "I said, I came to see how it went with my grandma."
'Grandma?' Rukia frowned in thought. She didn't have any elderly people today. Of course, there were three old men, but she didn't have any-... Rukia paused right there. And then her eyes grew in recognition.
"That old hag was your grandma?!"
Renji scowled at the twitching woman in front of him, and then sighed. Clearly this called for a drink.

Three glasses of scotch and five shots of tequila later, Rukia found herself face-first on a bar stool in a dim-lighted bar three blocks where she worked. It wasn't anything big and flashy, rather more homey and welcoming. In the back of her mind she wondered how hadn't she found this herself sooner.
Her violet eyes slid to her left where Renji sat, straight up and leaning like the graceful ass he was on the stool, mouth set to a frown, not even blinking as he drowned more and more alcohol in his system. A glare came upon her face. How the hell could he stand drinking and she couldn't? Who did he think he was? Sitting there, all hot and handsome and drinking like he owned everything in the world..! Oh, and now he was looking at her. Who did he think he was? He was an idiot! A monkey! A gorilla dressed human! He wasn't allowed to look at her like that, all concerned and cute and hot and oh boy, had he always been so muscular?
"Uh, Rukia..?"
Renji was frozen as the petite woman next to him started poking his arm. She had a thoughtful frown on her face, her brows drawned and her lips tight together.
Poke, poke, poke.
Renji felt his eye twitch.
Poke, poke, poke.
A vein popped to his temple.
Poke, poke, poke.
"Oi..." he hoped she would stop as she raised her eyes at him, but hell... The poking didn't.
Poke, poke, poke.
"Oi, I said..!" he grabbed her hand and shot her a glare, "It hurts you idiot!" She merely looked at him, eyes wide yet narrow and unfocused. Renji scowled at her; was she drunk?
"Were you always a hulk?"
Huh?
"I mean, you are so big.. How you fit through the door?!"
Renji blinked and eyed the woman he knew almost his entire life hiccup twice before calling for another drink, "O-Oi... Maybe you shouldn't have another."
She shot him a sharp glare, "Are you calling me soft?"
"Huh?"
"I said are you calling me fat!"
"What, no!"
"Did you say I'm pretty?!"
A vein started popping in his forehead, "No, I called you drunk, damn it!"
"You made me drunk?!"
"No!"
"Aha!" she pointed him a finger, "You just admitted you are drunk!"
"..."
"..."
"..."
"..."
"...you should stop drinking now."
"Did you call me light-weight?!"
'Oh brother...'
.
.
.
He knocked twice on the door in front of him. Adjusting the weight of the unconscious woman on his shoulder, he waited patiently for someone to open the damn door. It was chilly and hell he had forgotten his jacket at the bar. He had to go all the way back just to retrieve the damn thing.
And all because of the dead weight on his shoulder... He felt her twitch and a soft moan escaped her lips. Renji's eye twitched; damn woman... she was a moving hurricane when drunk. If only she didn't have that last drink... or the two after that... and the three shots of tequillas later...
Hell, Byakuya would kill him.
And as if luck was spitting on him again the door was opened by Byakuya himself. The stoic man stood by the door and looked at Renji with indifference. His dark blue eyes moved from the sweating face of Renji to the butt of his beloved sister that hanged shamelessly from his shoulder. When his eyes returned to Renji's, the red haired man was sure he was a dead man.
"What is the meaning of this, Renji?"
Renji gulped hard, "Um... well you see..."
"Is that Nii-sama I hear?!" Oh crap..., it was all Renji could think before Rukia started moving around, "Nii-sama! Nii-sama! Where art thou?" He could see Byakuya's face unchanged looking deeply at him, "Nii-sama! Nii-sama!"
The man didn't bat an eye. Renji on the other hand, he was sweating bullets.
"Nii-sama~! Byakuya-sama! Where is my beautiful brother?" Renji's eyes bugged as Rukia turned sharply around causing them to trample to the ground; Renji fell, yet Rukia landed on her knees. She looked up and her dazed eyes sparkled as she met the blurry image of her brother. Gracefully, she took Byakuya's hand and brought it to her face, "Byakuya-sama. Thou grow more beautiful by the day. Even though thou are a man, the feminine side of thou is winning me over..."
Renji could only stare with bugged eyes as Rukia kissed her brother's hand. The man on the other hand remained stoic as ever, though his scowl seemed to tighten. Probably because she called him a woman...
"Renji." his eyes snapped to his boss, "I'll be waiting for an explanation in my office tomorrow morning." Renji would have groaned if Rukia hadn't interrupted them again,
"Thus the wedding is tomorrow, then?" her sparkly eyes never melted Byakuya's scowl.
"...yes." Rukia's face broke to a smile, "Did you hear that, my prideful gorilla?" she turned to Renji, "Byakuya-hime will marry me!" she run up to him and hugged him in a bone-crashing way, he was sure he heard some bones popping from the pressure.
"Rukia, let's go."
Brightly she turned to her brother and smiled happily, "Of course, Byakuya-sama!" then she turned to Renji and grabbed his chin and glared him, "I trust the safety of the castle to you, my noble gorilla." Renji could feel his eyebrow twitch; twice this night... I'll hit her next time...
Then she did the unexpected. Tightening her fingers on his chin she slammed her mouth to his in a sloppy mannered kiss. Renji's eyes bugged out and stayed wide even when she leaned back and looked him with determined eyes, "Do not fail me, gorilla." she winked at him and then stood up and left, taking Byakuya by the hand and skipping away in the house.
He stayed there, kneeling on the ground for a couple of minutes more. His mind hazy as only one thought circled in his mind.
What the fuck just happened?

So, exams are here again, that's why I was so late to update. But because times are hard for us, college students, it might take sometime for the next update to come up. I'll try to put a chapter or two, but please don't hold me on just that.
I hope you enjoy this surprise RenjixRukia filler chapter. Sorry if it was silly and awful, I really suck at making funny-drunk-dialogue-scenes... Anyway, please read and review! And hope for an early update!
