A/N : I loved this story when it started, I did have to go back and re-read it to remember what I was doing :) So if it is a little rough please be gentle. And if you want to review with snide little remarks be an adult and do it under your username.
"She is beautiful, my darling," Philip held his newborn daughter close as he rocked her.
"I would like to name her Katherine after my mother." Mary fell in love with her daughter instantly. She had so wished her mother could have been here for the birth of her first grandchild but she was trapped in Greenwich due to the winter storm that swept in overnight. Mary wasn't due for a few weeks according to her physicians but little Katherine was so eager to meet the world. She was born on Christmas Day 1537.
"Henry, sweetheart, is it not the most wonderful gift." Anne beamed as she held Katherine. "She is just as beautiful as her mother."
"Yes it is the most wonderful news." Henry was content with a granddaughter, for he had his own beloved sons and heirs. "I think we shall call her Katie, so not confuse her with our Princess Katherine." Henry said matter-of-factly.
"Anna, sweetheart." Henry Percy pulled his new bride to him kissing her softly on the lips. Anna relaxed in his arms as she kissed him back. She had never truly known happiness. Their courtship had been a whirlwind, but now Anna had joined the English nobility as Lady Northumberland. "You have made me so happy. I love you, my Anna."
"I love you too." Anna and Henry would make their debut at court for the first time as a married couple in a few days time, and Anna could not help but dread being thrust into the English court.
Jane's eyes filled with tears, he was so handsome her little boy. She could not believe it when Anne had told her that the King granted her permission to see her son again. It took so much courage for her to walk through the gates of Hever, she was so light-headed she almost fainted into Mark's arms.
"Darling, you must breathe." He put his hand on her growing belly. George greeted the couple, as his wife sat next to the fire rocking little Cecily to sleep. She was only a few months old now, but she had fill Jane's world with happiness. When she saw George playing near Jane Boleyn, she wanted to run to him and pick him up telling him that she loved him with all her heart.
"He is well loved." Jane Boleyn looked over at Jane, her heart pulled into two directions. She felt sorry for Jane losing her son, but she could not help but fear that one day little George would learn who his real parents were and he would hate her for keeping this secret. George leaned down and kissed his wife on the forehead lovingly.
"I would like you to meet our daughter, Cecily."
"She is beautiful, like her mother." Mark replied, pulling Jane to him holding her as she fought back the tears. The four spend the afternoon having a picnic by the lake. It was odd how well they actually all got along given the circumstances.
"I hear the Queen is once more with child." Jane was still shocked that even after her actions, the Queen had taken pity on her and even fought for her right to see her son. But she knew today was not something that would occur often, she could see it in Jane Boleyn's eyes. Her baby boy was hers by birth only, he loved George and Jane. She could see that as he pretty much climbed all over his father and giving his mother and baby sister kisses.
Katherine looked over and Charles and smiled, she still could not believe after all the years believing her happiness was in being the Queen of England that she would be so happy just to be the wife of Charles Brandon. He had changed over the years, he hadn't taken a mistress for quite some time. The last mistress was shortly after he had married Henry's sister all those years ago. And for the first time in a while the house was empty, no children were running around laughing and playing. She missed the laughter, but she knew that the children wouldn't always be at Richmond with her. They were at Hampton Court as Henry and Anne prepared a royal pageant in honor of the children.
"Sweetheart." Charles caressed her face before leaning down and kissing her softly. "Come back to bed, it is too cold to not be under the covers with your handsome husband." Katherine giggled softly, that man always knew how to get her to come out of her moods.
"Well, I would not want to keep my most handsome husband lonely." She kissed him passionately as he picked her up, carrying her off to be like a pair of young lovers. They fell asleep in each others arms. She was at peace. Katherine loved Henry once, but he destroyed that love due to some desperate need for a son. He loved Anne now, even though everyone knew that his love was fickle.
Kitty Howard walked behind her Lady Aunt as she walked into Hampton Court, she had been summoned by her cousin Queen Anne Boleyn. She was only sixteen and spent most of her life in the country raised by her old aunt.
"You may leave, Lady Agnes."
"Your Majesty, I ..."
"I said you may leave." Anne repeated in disgust, she had heard from her sister of how Kitty was being treated in the care of their rich Aunt Agnes.
"You are sixteen, correct?"
"Yes, Your Majesty." Kitty was in awe of Anne, she was so regal and elegant.
"I would like to offer you a place in my household." Kitty beamed she would be at court, a place where she knew she would shine. But more importantly she would be far away from her Lady Aunt. Anne told her that she would be expected to be virtuous and that while a Lady in her household she must remain true. Kitty's new life was starting, but would she be able to put her past behind her. Would the Queen one day discover that Kitty was not the sweet little girl she portrayed?
