Laney's POV:

Finally, I was able to leave the hospital. Honestly I felt more sick than good in there, but I could manage to survive. Once outside I took a big breath, and smiled. I was with Walter, Dan, Josh, Kin, Kon and Corey outside.

"It was about time!" I rejoiced.

"I'm so happy for you Laney, you finally got out of that place!" Dan agreed.

"Yeah! We should go an celebrate!" Kon cheered. "What do you guys think?" He looked at Corey, Walter and Josh.

"I guess it is alright." Josh shrugged.

"Come on Josh, be more cheerful." Walter said. "I'm in."

I looked at Corey. "What about you Core?" He smiled.

"Of course!" He said. "So, where are we going?"

While I was in the hospital, the bands got to know each other and know they can hang out with each other with no problem, even though I know that Core and Walter don't get along very well, I could see that they were trying.

"So, let's go to Belchies!" Kon suggested.

"Never been in there." Dan commented. Kin and Kon stared at him with wide eyes.

"Never been in Belchies?!" They both exclaimed.

"Well, we are kind of new here..." Walter said.

"Then you need to come!" Core said.

And so, we went to Belchies. When we got our food I could see that Dan was delighted with the food, Walter was enjoying every bite and even Josh, who doesn't like to go to places like these said that the food was pretty good.

"So why did you leave England?" Corey asked Walter.

"Well, we wanted to know other countries and cities and I lived here for a while, so we came here." Walter answered before taking another bite to his hamburger.

"So you'll leave Paceville?"

"Not for the moment." Josh said. "We've just arrived and we want to make us known before leaving."

"Yeah, and this place is awesome!" Dan cheered.

"Actually, there's a festival coming soon here, so we need to get ready for that." Walter commented excited.

We kept talking until it was sunset, it was time for us to go home. We said our goodbyes and went back to our apartment.

"Anyone up to a movie?" Dan asked.

"Maybe tomorrow Dan, I'm pretty tired." I yawned. Dan smiled and sat on the couch.

"Tomorrow then, I'm thinking on watching some horror movies, I mean, if you can handle it." He smiled.

"Challenge accepted." I said and went to my room.

After I changed into something more comfortable, a simple white t-shirt and shorts. Then I went to the kitchen to get something to drink, only to find that Dan was already asleep. Josh came into the kitchen too and took two glasses.

"He will wake with a headache, like every time he sleeps on the couch." He sighed. "Well, it is his problem." He shrugged and filled both glasses with water. "Goodnight Laney." He smiled.

"Goodnight Josh." I said. "Where is Anubis?" I asked.

"I think he is in the balcony." He said as he went into his room.

I walked toward the balcony, but I saw Dan on the couch sleeping soundly. I sighed and put a blanket over him.

"God, you'll catch a cold. Seriously it is like having a little brother." I laughed and walked outside.

Walter saw me and smiled. "You should be resting. You just got out from the hospital." He smiled. I hugged him and rested my head on his chest.

"Yeah, yeah." I said. He put his arms around me and kissed my head.

"How are you feeling?" He asked.

"Huh? I'm good, better now that I'm out." I said.

"Good to hear that." He said.

"Actually, I want to get back to practicing tomorrow." I commented.

"I think it is a great idea. We've missed you." He smiled.

"Cool, but for now, I'm going to sleep." I kissed him. "Goodnight Walter."

He smiled. "Goodnight Laney."

Corey's POV:

Once at home I went to the garage and tuned my guitar. When I was finishing I heard a knock on the door. I looked at the hour: 12:37am 'Who would be up at this hour?' I walked to the door and opened it, outside stood a tall boy with blonde with golden eyes. He smiled and stretched his hand. I shook his hand.

"Hello, my name is Set." He introduced himself. "Are you Corey Riffin?

"Yeah." I answered.

"Good, I'm looking for a girl called Laney, I've heard that you two are good friends, am I correct?" I frowned, he was hiding something behind that smile.

"Why are you looking for her?" I asked.

"Oh, do not worry. I just have business with her." He replied.

"Sorry dude, but I don't know where she is." I said as I started to close the door.

"It is ok, but if you happen to see her, just call me to this number." He gave me a card with a number.

"Whatever." I said and closed the door. "God." I sighed.

What does he want with Laney? It was obvious that he didn't want anything good. Well, tomorrow I'll talk to Lanes about it.

Unknown POV:

"Did he give the location?" Bradley asked. I smiled as I sat on the back seat of my car. He had black hair, tanned skin and a scar that crossed one of his eyes making him half-blind

"Not yet one-eye. But he will, people like him break easily." I smiled.

"You need to proceed carefully, Set. You know Anubis, he'll come up with something. He always does." Bradly warned.

I laughed. "Yeah, but I won't let that jackal run away." I said. "This time we'll catch him. I'm sure of it."

"How can you be so sure?" He asked.

"Oh, because our little dog has fallen for someone." I laughed. "When we get her, he'll come with his tail between his legs and beg for us to give her back."

"Can't you be a little bit more original Set?" He asked. I smiled.

"I like your way of thinking, I'll think of something else, but for now... Let's bring Anubis down."

Bradley nodded and laughed.

"The god of death, falling." I sing-sang. "It is a beautiful time, don't you think?"

I'll try to write faster, but it is hard because I started school and I have to study :(

For the Guest who asked for a Danny Phantom, I'll write it but I had to watch a few chapters first, because I forgot a lot about that show, but I'll do it ;)
