O Lord of Darkness!

Such a worrisome situation you have

For your bride has turned his back on you

abandoned you at the same place where you walked out on him

O Mate of Lord of Darkness

Be weary!

That veiled frustration has turned into madness

Should you are the only one who can pacify it!

Fuck.

That was the only word his shocked mind could come up with as Kagami watched the match between the red midget and Kuroko. Considering the fact that Kuroko was absolutely a badass when he worked with them, and a terrifying fighter when he worked with his old team in the forest, they shouldn't have been surprised at all. But, as they watch him spar against the supposedly 'Emperor', this Kuroko was definitely the incarnation of the devil himself, hands down.

Time seemed to have been frozen as Kuroko moved and attacked his leader with such lethal grace, like the angel's devil. His movements were precise, calculated, none went to waste with unnecessary moves as he both defended and assaulted. His face set on deep concentration all while maintaining the cold, detached mask.

Kuroko was already sweating slightly even though the match had just begun ten minutes ago. The atmosphere was tense and thick with high concentration. In contrast, Akashi was still perfectly calm and composed although there was a small wound on his back side, courtesy of the blade of his partner. At the moment, they were currently fighting in a close-up battle; Kuroko directly tried to land some hits on Akashi while the red haired man always defected the attacks in time.

With a loud clank, Akashi broke Kuroko's x-position hands with his knives, successfully parting the bluenette's two slightly angled guns that were pointed to him earlier. His right hand held his modified gun-blade, a similar weapon which Kuroko was currently wielding in both hands, while his left hand held his trusted blade.

Without missing a beat, Kuroko quickly reformed his hand's position and fired some shots at Akashi, who dodged the bullets easily. He saw Akashi bended a little before he suddenly stood right in front of him, crouching in time to avoid the blade meant for his neck. It only managed to graze a small portion of his hair. Quickly, he sprung and dodged the line of bullets Akashi shot at him before he attacked him with equal fervor.

Akashi ducked under the blade and with a powerful round house kick, disarmed Kuroko's gun-blade on his right hand and landed a quite jagged and bloody wound on his forearm. Kuroko was forced to back off a few feet as he took a blade out of his pocket and held it on his right hand. With a flick of his wrist, he tilted the blade so the tip would face backward instead and let his body took the stance he used to take. His left arm, which was holding the gun-blade on horizontal position, was positioned into a forty five degree stance while his right hand held his blade underneath his left forearms.

"Are you finally going to get serious, Tetsuya?" Akashi smirked as he held his own weapon in similar position; in fact, he mirrored Kuroko exactly. Kuroko just emotionlessly stared at Akashi before he ran to him.

"Could it be…," Riko's whisper caught the attention of every entranced Seirin member. She turned her head to Momoi who smiled slightly. "It seems that I finally understand what Sei-kun is trying to convey."

Aomine let out a chuckle as the realization dawned upon him too. "Damn, he's such a possessive bastard." Aomine's eyes glinted in dark amusement, though contrary to his cursing, hid his high respect.

"Do it, Satsuki," Midorima pushed the frame of his glasses with his bandaged fingers.

Kise was just smiling rather creepily in approval while Murasakibara decided to not comment but instead, stared at the member of his ex-teammate's sub.

"Well, at least we don't have to run away from Tetsucchi," Kise hummed happily. "After all, it seems they," Kise slightly sneered, "will never understand that Tetsucchi was never theirs to begin with."

"What the fuck-" Kagami's snarl was interrupted by two, loud claps from Momoi.

"Light rain, activated."

Out of nowhere, water fell from above and wet the grounds where Kuroko and Akashi were standing.

"What the…" Kagami thought as he watched the rain start to drench Kuroko's clothes. His eyes, along with his teammates, was definitely searching for the sources of the said water, all while observing the intense fight between Kuroko and Akashi. Though, they had all missed the smirks each member of the Generation of Miracles had formed on their faces.

"They're on the ground, at the sidelines," Izuki pointed out. Truth be told, the water on the sidelines of the area was barely noticeable.

Both Kuroko's and Akashi's perfectly tailored white shirts were completely drenched underneath the artificial rain, making their body completely visible under the heavy stares of some eyes. But, as soon as their eyes caught up with the swift movements between Akashi and Kuroko, all of them froze in shock.

They didn't realize it earlier, but now….

To them, they felt like watching a man fighting his own mirror self; for every offensive attack, even the calculated defense, the movements were exactly the same.

Even Kiyoshi seemed to be in a stupor as well. His eyes narrowed in sharp observation and brows furrowed together in frown.

Not to mention-

"Both Kuroko and Akashi-san supported exactly the same red tattoo on their back," Izuki said slowly; curiosity and wariness filled his tone. "But, it's mirrored."

"What's the meaning of this?" Hyuuga demanded coldly.

"Pay attention," Midorima snapped. "They're sparring to educate all of you, not to amuse you." Midorima frostily remarked.

They paid their attention back to the fight, and their eyes widen in shock once more.

"It hasn't even one minute since I took my attention away from Kuroko, and I swear he was equal to Akashi earlier, so why-" Mitobe thought. "It looks like it was Akashi who's now in control of the pace."

"Akashi's pushing Kuroko," Riko said grimly. "The weapons, the stance, the fighting style… they're… mirroring each other? What's going on? What does the tattoo mean?" Riko thought out loud, frustration evident on her face.

The tattoo is exactly the same, Kiyoshi noted in his head. Could it be it works the same way like Aomine and Momoi? He wondered as he casted a glance to the couple right beside him.

He has seen the black butterfly tattoo on Aomine's waist in the past, but he has just noticed the same tattoo on Momoi when she accidently concealed her waist with her short shirt back when she picked them up. He never questioned them. He thought it's just Aomine's and Momoi's way as a couple, but to see Kuroko and Akashi also supported the same tattoo, albeit different pattern and colour, it made him curious.

Every Seirin members were too engrossed in the fight and their own musing that they never noticed the slightly paler complexion of Kagami. His friends and teammates may not know it, well, he would be surprised if they do, but there's only one, ancient tradition within the elite clans, regarding tattoo markings.

As far as he concerned, when he was tutored by his father about old customs of their ancestors, the bride of the crown heir of a noble clan will bear the same tattoo of her betrothed. The tattoo itself depended on the clan and the crown heir himself, but once placed, it would be impossible to remove the tattoo no matter what methods used. The tattoo will forever etch on the bride's body to show the world that she was taken and proudly marked by the crown heir. This custom was rarely performed anymore since the process was antagonizing painful and slow to ensure the permanence of the tattoo. It was also said that once marked, the bride will be unable to get another suitor, even though her betrothal is called off: the bride will be forever the crown heir's, whether she/he wants it or not.

"That tattoo….. So Kuroko is…" Kagami thought as his chest tightened rather painfully at the revelation. "But, no one noticed it…So how?"

"At this rate, he's going to lose," Kiyoshi said calmly, though the clenching and unclenching of his fists said otherwise, hinting that he wasn't as calm as he appeared. His comment snapped Kagami back to Earth.

True to his words, Akashi was clearly pushing Kuroko to his defeat. Kuroko repeatedly fell to his knees, and every time he managed to stand, Akashi would always assault him relentlessly until he fell again. With his remaining power, Kuroko backed off a few feet from Akashi and regained his breathing.

"What's wrong, Tetsuya? Tired already?" Akashi half-mockingly said as he walked slowly to where Kuroko currently stood.

"It seems that you're slacking off in this past year," Akashi said rather coldly as he threw a meaningful glance to his lover's current teammate.

"Leave them alone, Sei," Kuroko coldly remarked as he put his stance once more.

"Can't do that," Akashi smirked as he got closer and closer to Kuroko.

"They're my responsibility, and I would appreciate it if you don't meddle in," Kuroko briefly jabbed before he tried to slash Akashi with his blade. Akashi counteract with his own, making another loud clash sound as two identical blades went against one another. Traces of blood were visible from the two blades, each from their respective owners' opponent for the day. With every seconds that ticked by, they were on a stalemate. The blades wouldn't move as the holders were putting an equal amount of power to push the other blade away from their line of vision.

"What are you trying to do, Sei?" Kuroko hissed indignantly as the blades moved an inch closer to his body. "It's not like you to just coming down for a spar for anyone. Never in the past, and I doubt in the present either."

"I'm just drawing the lines," Akashi smirked at his lover's frustrated face. "And the boys don't mind either."

With a hidden snarl, Kuroko pushed the blade away with his might, causing the clash of the blade to break and made a narrow slit on Akashi's cheeks.

"I'm not yours, Sei," Kuroko growled deeply as he watched Akashi wiped the blood away from his cheeks and licked his rather bloody fingers.

"I know you are fond of my possessive side, Tetsuya. What's the difference now?" Akashi amusingly asked.

"Being possessive and controlling is entirely different thing," Kuroko openly glared at Akashi.

"I'm merely giving them some valuable lessons about you," Akashi shrugged.

"We're just skirting around the edge with the spar, Sei. Do not give me that crap," Kuroko hissed.

"But I'm sure Daiki and the rest are already briefing them of what should they know about your abilities from this "playful" spar, love," Akashi teased as his eyes motioned to the railing. Kuroko followed his line of view and he saw Midorima openly talked to his teammates, though he didn't bother to hide his scorn to his teammates.

"They should've suck it and accept that I won't budge about my choice in my teammates," Kuroko said fiercely. "That includes you, Sei."

Akashi just tilted his head. "They're hardly proven to be worth of you, Tetsuya. If I have the power to do so, I would only pick Kiyoshi and ship the rest of them to hell."

"And you think that you are worth of me?" Kuroko mocked.

"You're just still bitter about my wrongdoings to accept the fact," Akashi unabashedly admitted. "I regret my actions deeply, and I would never let you slip away from my grasp anymore, Tetsuya." His eyes turned sharp and dangerous to Kuroko. "Never again."

Their staring contest broke when Akashi suddenly made a small, melancholic smile before he disappeared and reappeared in front of him. With swift, strong moves, Akashi pushed Kuroko down of his position, straddled him before pointed his gun-blade to his forehead.

"I win." Akashi said curtly.

"Seicchi won," Kise commented; cutting the small, one-sided briefing of Midorima.

"That's to be expected," Momoi commented as she assessed the injuries her leader and her best friend's supported from afar.

"Do you realize it now?" Aomine's haughty voice took the attention of Kuroko's teammates. Aomine let go of his hold on Momoi and put both of his hands in his pocket instead. Predatorily, he walked towards the stairs.

"Tetsu is the shadow type of fighters. His strength and power depends on his partner," Aomine said with a scornful voice as he stared at his ex-partner's members one by one.

He let his sneer widen as he neared Kagami.

"And, you're too dim to be Tetsu's proper light," Aomine whispered the insult on Kagami's ear, and disappeared up towards the arena, leaving behind the shocked red haired man.

"I'll take care of their injuries," Midorima sighed before he walked into the building to get his kits.

"I and Ryouta-chin will take some drinks and clean clothes for them," Murasakibara said before he and Kise also went into the building.

"Do you understand now?" Momoi softly asked Kuroko's teammates. "We do not approve most of you to be with Tetsu. I hope all of you can remedy the situation soon, or we would be forced to actually intervene in this matter," Momoi gave them a small bow before following her boyfriend's steps, leaving the speechless Seirin behind.

"Fuck us all." Hyuuga whispered.
