Step 10: The almighty beard!
When Mikoto was still a toddler, she had grown used to seeing her father with facial hair. It was long and it made her tickle whenever he pressed his lips on her chubby cheeks. Her brother admired it, he thought that this is what it means to be a man… to grow an awesome beard like his dad! He checks the bathroom mirror every morning to see if he had grown any which always ends up with him in disappointment.
His wife, was being reasonably patient with him. She hated the beard but can't help herself to think that it looked really sexy on him. Damn his hot manly goatee making her hot and bothered! But every time they attempted sex she ends up ticklish because of the beard which is kinda ruined the mood. They were both on their bed with Kai typing away on his laptop. Hilary felt the urge to ask him "Kai"
"Hn" Kai responded, his eyes are still on the screen and kept typing.
She turned to his side to look at him "I was thinking... What's up with you and Tala with the beard? You've been growing it ever since you came home from Russia."
Kai stopped, turn to look at his wife and said "tell me. Does this beard make me look manly?"
"What?"
"I was dealing with local businessmen in Moscow and one of them mistook me for a woman." When his wife began to make an amused smile, Kai left out the part where he was also got hit on by men in a bar where Tala hangs out a lot.
"Pfffttbbhh!" Hilary has to suppress her laughter. Kai didn't mind her reaction and continued with his story "so Tala came up with the idea of us growing a beard when I get back again to finalize the dealership." He recalls Tala telling him that they would be beard buddies when he gets back.
Hilary moved closer to lean on him and ran her hand on the hair of his cheek "so that means you'll shave it when you're done?"
From his angle, he got a close view of her breast. Kai once again tries to push his luck tonight and with that idea in mind he closed his laptop "you haven't answered my question"
"I'd say you look like a lumber jack" Hilary answered
Kai at the moment was suggestively rubbing his hand softly on her thigh "Hn. what else?"His wife is already familiar with this pattern before and decides to have fun with him "but if you wore glasses. I'd say you would look like a hipster." She giggles when he stopped and got a blank expression on his face.
"A what?"
Neither got any that night since Kai sulked. Even though his wife said it was only a joke.
After Kai finally landed the deal for expanding his business in Moscow with Tala as his partner. Hilary was happy enough that he shaved when she was waiting for him at the airport and the two got really frisky once reunited and they did it in an empty restroom. It has been too long, long enough that they broke the toilet. Afterwards, they discreetly got out the restroom "No one saw us right?" Kai said and took a look around and see if there were CCTV cameras anywhere.
"Nah! don't think so. Let's go grab a taxi"
It's been weeks and Kai misses his kids. To his surprise, his tiny daughter doesn't recognize him without his bushy face and would cry every time he could be near her. It almost came to a point where he's torn to grew it back again or else he can never get to carry his baby girl.
Of course Hilary won't allow it and Mikoto slowly grown to recognize her father, though it took a few weeks.
Hilary hoped this would be the last time Kai would grew another beard.
PRESENT DAY
Tyson urged his friends to 'NO SHAVE NOVEMBER' and it was for a good cause. Everyone was game for it but Kai hesitated but eventually went on after the former champion successfully persuade him by boasting that he'll have a better beard than his stoic bestfriend.
He was challenged by a beard-off and there's no way he'll back down.
"I'll take that challenge Granger"
A week gone by...
His wife sighed and mentally notes 'Oh god... this is gonna be a long month'
Gou once again checked the bathroom mirror to see if he had grown any so he can face Rin who once commented that beards are cool and for Gou can finally call himself a man. He hangs his face low in disappointment "darn it! still nothing"
His daughter keeps rubbing her hands on his rugged cheeks "hihihihi! feels like sandpaper." Her father looked amused as his daughter played on his facial hair. They were in the living room. Kai had this smug look on his face "see? Even Mikoto likes it"
Hilary rolled her eyes "Kai, she's five years old"
(A/N): No I won't post in detail on what they did in the airport restroom. Try guessing they got really raunchy *naughty wink*
