Monday morning
Veronica,Logan, Keith were waiting for the doctor to come out of Leann room.
Veronica got up when she heard the doctor speak "Mrs Echolls."
"How's she doing." Veronica answered. The doctor smiled "physically she's fine and shell recover How ever she seems to have
memory loss. She doesn't remember the past month or how she got to Neptune. "
veronica took a breath "can I see her?"
The doctor nodded "she's asking for sheriff Mars. " they all turned around to face Keith who said "fine I'll go in."
Veronica looked at Logan as he put his arms out for her.
Inside hospital room
Keith walked in and said " hi Leann."
Leann looked up at him "Keith can you tell me what happened and why I'm here in Neptune? "
Keith shrugged " I don't know. My deputies went to the hotel to get your things there here he pointed to the closet and they found that scrap book of articles on Veronica's life from the FBI to the announced their third baby and me getting sheriff again. "
Leann nodded and how did I get here?" You were meeting Veronica at Luigi and a silver BMW hit you and took off. It was driven by a for hire criminal."
Keith replied trying to act more like the sheriff and less like the angry ex husband that he felt like. Leann trying to make sense of things just nodded. Keith looked at her again "how much do you remember?"
She looked up "nothing since I left new Mexico. I read about Veronica in people Logan sisters was giving interview and she talked in length about the next Echolls baby and how her and Logan have kept up the Echolls name. I remember booking a flight to see you and that's it. "
Keith looked at her skeptical "how's your drinking theses days?" Leann opened her scrap book I started this in a rehab this is my first year chip. And this is my ten year chip. I take it day by day but I'm trying Keith I am." she took a breath "I want to get to know are daughter and I'd love to meet my grand kids. I just want to see if I can have a place in her life. I missed so much."
Keith nodded "that's up to our daughter. " Leann smiled "can you ever forgive me?"
Keith shrugged "probably not. But I will get over that and let Veronica decided how she feels."
He walked to the door but turned around again and said "if you hurt her again I promise you. You will pay. Logan might seriously make you pay he doesn't do well with her getting hurt. "
Leann smiled at Keith's try at a threat and replied "is he good to her. I mean he treats her well."
Keith nodded "he's paid his dues. He worked really hard to gain my trust with her and he's a great father. There happy Leann. "
with that Keith opened the door and yelled for Veronica.
Outside the room
Logan grabbed her arm. "Are you sure you feel okay and your up to this?"
She leaned into his arms and kissed him " I'm fine I promise. "
Veronica kissed him again "I might even let you take me out for lunch after this. " she laughed.
He looked at her seriously "were right here if you need us just yell?" She smiled at him "thank you." She replied as she went inside.
Keith looked at Logan "she'll be okay. She'll never forgive herself if she doesn't hear her out." Logan just looked at the door.
Face to face
Leann looked up at the door "look at my gorgeous daughter."
Veronica gave Her a look "you don't get to do that."
Leann looked confused "I'm sorry. I don't know what To say I had this conversation in my head so many times."
Veronica sat next to the bed "how did that go?" Veronica asked
Leann laughed and looked at her stomach. Veronica looked down to see what she was looking at. Leann looked up "I'm sorry its just my baby's pregnant." Leann put up her hand to stop Veronica" I know you have two kids already but I didn't get to see you pregnant before. Which I know is my fault. "
Veronica laughed "there's a lot you missed mother. From high school graduation to college graduation. Two kids a weeding. I'm not even Veronica mars anymore "
Leann looked at her pleadingly "I will always be sorry I missed all that. I'm just hoping I can get to know who you are now. " Leann smiled at her "if you will let me ?"she said laughing.
Veronica looked at her its not just me anymore I have two kids at home. Veronica replied. Leann smiled again "will I ever get to meet them? She asked .
Veronica took a deep breath "I don't know Logan and I have to discuss it. Then talk to them. " Leann nodded her understanding.
Veronica smiled and handed Leann two pictures this is Logan Keith echolls (Lo) in his baseball uniform from his last game. He's a pitcher. His first love is surfing though my little fish is his father completely.
sometimes I swear they share a brain." She stooped a second then pointed to the other picture "that's Lynn Alicia echolls she's smart loves computers, dancing,fashion. She has my eyes and attitude. She looks so much like Logans mom with her Brown hair."
Leann smiled "there amazing Veronica. I'd really love to meet them?" She asked as Logan knocked on the door.
Veronica smiled and said "hey you."
Logan looked at Leann "sorry to interpret Mrs mar. He started to say then tried Ms Reynolds. "
Leann smiled "I'd rather Leann."
Logan nodded and turned to Veronica "Lo's practices is over and Lynn wants to come home from the mall and you haven't eaten anything since breakfast at six it's twelve now."
Veronica looked at Leann then him and said "I'll come by tomorrow."
Leann frowned "okay. Um Logan can I talk to you for a minute? Leann asked.
Logan looked at Veronica who gave him a pleading look. Still looking at Veronica he answered "ya okay."
Veronica looked at them both and said "be nice you two." As she left.
Leann looked at Logan for a second. Then replied " I see how much you love my daughter and how in love she is with you. I just wish you and I can be friends. I'd like to try and be apart of her life. "
Logan took a deep breath and replied " that's entirely up to my wife Leann but if I do have to step in because you hurt her. I promise you that you will wish you never came back." He said in a tone that sent chills up leans spine. "Have a nice night." He said over his shoulder as he left the room.
Veronica
Veronica was sitting by her huge pool in her back yard. Lo and Lynn were in there rooms doing the last of their homework. Logan went to pick up Terrence and Angela from Wallace house. Then to pick up the Chinese order she placed. Veronica had ten minutes alone finally. So she thought as her cell phone rang she grinned "hi q how are you tonight. that's great. no I haven't heard anything important yet. Okay let me now if anything comes back odd in her back ground thanks."As she hung up Logan walked in with the two kids and the food. T and Angela went upstairs as Veronica walked in behind Logan and hugged him from behind for a second but let her hand drop.
Logan laughed and looked at the stairs before he turned around and kissed his wife. The kiss depend and he picked her up and put her on the island in the kitchen as he stood between her legs. He kissed her neck as lo and t walked down stairs
Lo being just like his dad always had a remark "that's just gross we eat there." Then he looked at his dad "you got the vegetable dumplings with extra sauce right. "
As Veronica got down Logan handed him the dumpling and vegetable rice then handed t the ribs with pork fried rice. Then he looked back at lo
"Walk up stairs and tell Lynn and Angie to come down. And I mean walk up there don't yell. thank you."
Veronica smiled at him. Logan looked at her "what" Veronica laughed "when did you become such a dad? She asked.
Logan looked offended and put his hand on his heart i'm hurt, wounded offended and it happened to be the second this blond hurricane blew through my hotel room with I'm pregnant."
Veronica laughed then looked at him seriously " Logan you are happy with ... " she trailed off because she didn't know how to say it.
Logan pulled her to him " If you dont know how much I love you. Im not showing you enough." he whispered into her ear.
Veronica kissed his neck then gently bite his ear and said "when the kids go to sleep. You can make it up to me."
logan groanded and grabed the counter hader and yelled "bedtime" veronica giggled as the kids looked at them.
Wallace
Wallace sat in dotes coffee house waiting for Jackie holding the divorce papers going over in his head on what to say to her. Wallace looked up when he heard Jackies voice
"hi Wallace.I'm so glad you are willing to meet me. The kids and I had a great night the other day. " then she noticed the papers in his hand "whats that?" She said as she pointed.
Wallace replied "this is why I wanted us to meet. Jackie we tried and tried but you and I don't want the same things out of life." Wallace tried so hard to just say what was in his head but he couldn't think if it now he just new it had to be done.
"Wallace I don't want a divorce can't we compromise please." Jackie pleaded.
Wallace just shook his head "I'm sorry Jackie. I just can't compromise on are family." When Jackie opened her mouth to say something. Wallace put up his hands "please just sign the papers and let's try and make things easier for Terrence and angie."
Jackie nodded "okay I'll sign if that's what you want but I will always love you Wallace." Jackie handed him the papers and he got up kissed her head " I hope you find what makes you happy." He replied as he walked to the door. Wallace made it five steps not watching were he was going and banged into someone. "I am so sorry ma'am I really didn't see you. Wallace apologized.
The women looked up smiling "it's fine Wallace. I wasn't watching were I was going either." Came a familiar voice.
Wallace smiled "Parker I'm so sorry to hear about you and piz. "
Parker looked down we just wanted different things."
Wallace smiled back "I know the feeling Jackie just signed the divorce papers."
Parker looked at him simpathicly "I'm so sorry Wallace. "
Wallace smiled again "you know what v and Logan have the kids tonight so I have sometime can I buy you dinner. I did just try to run you Down. Maybe we can talk a little." Parker shook her head " I'd like that." She replied.
He walked her to his car and opened the door. "Were would you like to go?"
Logan and veronica
Veronica was sitting on there king size bed trying to listen to the bug she had Mac send in a package from Neptune high. It was a small ceramic Polly the Neptune pirate mascot. They figured that Isabella or celest properly would think Jake or Duncan gave a donation. So far there was a lot of fighting and silence. As Veronica listened to the recordings
Logan walked into the room talking to her. When she didn't answer Logan smiled and crawled into bed next to her and started kissing her neck.
Veronica smiled and leaned into him as she hit what she thought was the stop button. "Hello my perfect husband." She said looking at him.
Logan smiled "what was so interesting?" He asked
" nothing important. How are the kids?" She answered.
Logan smiled "all sleeping."
Veronica turned towards him and said "good " as she sat up on her knees and untied her robe. "Because I bought something at the mall today thinking about you! wanna see it?" She gave him a second to look over her two piece teddy. "Well what do you think?"
Logan helped her shed the robe and toss it on the ground "have I told you how hot my wife is."
Veronica pretended to think for a second " talk talk that's all you authors ever do. you really should show her."
Logan laughed and looked her in the eyes " I love you Veronica Echools."
Veronica smilled I love you to Logan Echools." Veronica replied as she started to kiss Down his chest.
Logan groaned and put his hands in her hair. as they fell on the bed the bump undid the pause button she hit. He closed his eyes for a second and he swore he could hear Duncan's voice. Logan shook his head trying to clear the voices and enjoy what his wife was doing. Veronica looked up at him and realized he was in his own zone Once he opened his eyes she worked her way back up to his ear . Veronica frowned "should I have gotten it in blue or something?" She asked.
Logan looked at her with lust in his eyes "no baby you look amazing. It's just I swear I can hear Duncan's voice. I must be hallucinating."
Veronica thought for a second and cursed herself she left the recording from earlier playing right near him. She raised her hand to turn it off when he saw her.
Logan got out of bed " nothing interesting huh? You lied to me veronica. " Veronica looked pleadingly at him "Logan you knew I was trying to find out what happen to my mom and what Isabella and Celeste were up to."
Logan grabbed a t shirt from the dresser then fixed his sleep pants. "So you bugged his bed room? Do I even want to know how you did it?"
Veronica gave him another pleading look " I sent something with a bug in it." She answered. "
well you will happy to know Duncan calls out your name during the once a year sex with his wife. Why don't you let know if you hear anything more. I'm sure he has vivid dreams of my wife to. " as he headed to the door she called out his name " Logan! Your just going to leave. Seriously ?" She said putting her robe back on starting to tear up. He stopped by the door " Duncan's been back a month and already your lying about stupid things Veronica. Your pregnant and Celeste has already sent your mom to the hospital. Why can't you just let it go. Your going to get hurt " Logan laughed and put his fingers up " wait I haven't heard this line in years I'm just not made that way." Logan Mimicked her. " did I get that right? I'm going to my office." He said as he closed the door.
Veronica sat on their bed and closed her robe tighter as she started to cry.
