Chapter 10-Memories of the Crownless King part 2-Memories of the Abyss
During the days before his rise of his Kingdom, during the days before he a became powerful warrior. He was a man, a man on a journey through the lands of the Great Lords.
Naruto found himself in a different world as he was within land of the Gods, but rather not where but when? Somehow he found himself traveled three hundred years in the past after being taken through a black portal by an unknown giant being with large animalist hand.
Naruto wearing the elite Knight armor set for protection, he held the Black Knight sword and elite knight's shield.
He stood in front of a bonfire, he looked around and found himself within a forest, but the question was what is this placed but then he heard a voice. He turned his head and gasp for where the voice was coming from.
The voice came from a Mushroom, a giant mushroom.
"Oh what do we have here? From what far-away age has thou come? They scent is very human, indeed. But, not intolerable…ah Princess Dusk's savior. Thine aura is precisely as she described. I thank thee deeply, for rescuing her Highness."
"Dusk…" Naruto said her name, a young princess Naruto save during his travels. She was an interesting person, with a cute personally and beauty of wonders.
"Is Princess Dusk here?" He asked, curious to see the princess once more.
"However, Princess Dusk is here no longer…snatched away by that horrifying primeval human. And so I must ask. Could thou once more play the savior?"
"Yes, yes I will. I own Dusk as much. Thanks to her I…I remain…myself after I lost so much." He nods his head.
"Thank you. I am Elizabeth, guardian of this sanctuary, where you stand. Something of a godmother to Princess Dusk." Elizabeth introduce herself "I shall assist thee, to my utmost, for I am one with the sorceries of Oolacile."
"Could you tell me…more about this beast that kidnap Dusk." He asked the Mushroom woman.
"An abyss was begat of the ancient beast, and threatens to swallow the whole of Oolacile. Knight Artorias came to stop this, but such a hero has nary a murmur of Dark. Without doubt, he will be swallowed by the Abyss, overcome by its utter blackness."
"The Abyss…I know of its…ill." He frowned.
"Indeed…the abyss may be unstoppable…but still I have faith, that Princess Dusk may be rescued yet."
"I will save Dusk, you have my word she will be saved."
"Thank you warrior…"
'To think Princess Dusk has a Mushroom for a godmother…strange…'
"Hah hah…was thine eye, glancing hiter. Thou needst not hide thy wonder. I am a mushroom, after all." Elizabeth laughed.
'It's not that you're a talking mushroom, I find it interesting. It's interesting you're a mushroom that hasn't tried punch my lights out. Could those mushroom men from my time be her children? If the men have knockout punches…I hate to see what the females can do.'
Naruto left Elizabeth as he started his journey to save Princess Dusk.
Somewhere later…
Naruto came across an interesting character while travel through the unknown forest.
"Hm…Oh, let me guess. Snatched by a shadowy limb, and dragged off to the past?" The interesting man said, the man wore a top hat and a classy style long coat, he wore black gloves that matched his long boots.
"…So this is not where but when…" Uzumaki sighed.
"Yes, of course. Exactly what happened to me, we are both strangers in this strange land. But, at least now there are two of us." The man said.
"Did you happen across Knight Artorias? The legendary Abysswalker, from the old tales. Well, if you haven't, it just as well…he's a colorless soft, if you ask me. Mwah hah hah!" The man laughed.
"So, what did that giant mushroom make you do? Not that I care. It's none of my business." Naruto only glared at the man as he laughs.
"Anyway, believe me or not. Oolacile has brought the Abyss upon itself. Fooled by that toothy serpent, they upturned the grave of primeval man, and incited his ornery wrath. What could they have been thinking? But to you and I, it's all ancient history. you have to ask yourself. Does it really matter?"
"Thanks for the information whoever you are." Naruto walked pass the unknown man, but the man said one more thing he left the area completely.
"I'll be seeing you…if you survived."
Later on…
He stood in front of a long fog gate. Naruto couldn't help but felt a strong ill of sorrow behind the fog wall. However, this was the first fog gate he felt such emotion he travel far and long. But here this one would change his mind.
Naruto enter as he found himself within what appears to be a small but around arena. There in the middle of the room was a ugly creature. Naruto draw his sword and shield ready to battle the creature.
But just when he was about to battle the creature, Naruto saw a large shadow overcast the creature.
THRUST!
Out from above a Knight jumped down and impale the creature in the face with his long sword. The Knight wasn't any normal Knight either, his armor was different from the other Hollow Knights. He wore silver helm with musty azure-blue tassel. His face was cast in shadow, the armor set was darken silver with tattered azure-blue cape. The gauntlets were dark silver, the leggings were silver as well.
Naruto looked and notice the Knight's appearance, he was very large and tall, there he saw the Knight's left arm was broken as it stood there hanging as a lifeless limb. He held his long great sword with his right hand.
The Knight notice Naruto and slowly turn his head looking at the Uzumaki.
"Whoever thou are…stay away…" Naruto took one step back.
Then suddenly the Knight was surrounded by black smoke slowly turned into black fog. The Knight gripped his sword and let an animalist howl, a howl that close to that of a wolf.
The Knight turned around, while the creature still hanging on his sword. He then dashed toward Naruto and swings his sword throwing the dead creature at him.
"Are you…Artorias?" Naruto asked the large Knight.
The Knight was indeed him, Artorias he is known through Legend. The one that was known as the Abysswalker, he who walk through the dark.
Artorias came to Naruto with the a powerful down slash, Naruto blocked with his shield but however since the blow was powerful it broke Naruto's guard.
"Ugh, ah, ragh!" Artorias grunt as he slashed his sword at the Uzumaki, Naruto dodge the Knight's attack with dodge rolls.
"Wait…if you're Artorias, THE Artorias why are we fighting? I have no reason to fight you." Naruto saw an opening to strike but however, he used that moment to get away from the Knight warrior.
"Soon…I shall be consumed…by the Dark…"
"Thou are strong…human. Surely thine are more than pure dark." He ran towards Naruto and surprise him with a drive kick. Naruto couldn't react in time and was kicked across the area until he hit the wall.
"Gah!" He fell to his knees dropping his sword and shield. The impact was powerful, so powerful it shatter Naruto's helmet, his face expose to the Abysswalker.
Naruto wipe the blood off his mouth, grabbing his sword he ran towards the Abysswalker. Naruto held his sword two-handed.
CLASH!
The two Knights clash blades as the two struggled over control as their blades grind and spark. However, Naruto felt Artorias's might overpowering him.
Naruto looked at the ground and notice there was black fog slowly circling around him and Artorias as if it was alive. Naruto felt the black fog slowly rise up, he felt it touched him as if, it was a hand.
Then an image appeared in Naruto's mind, an image he wished he could forget but he couldn't. within the image, Naruto down on his knees letting out a bloody cry as he held within his arms a woman, in the image the woman seem to be dead.
The images flash within the Uzumaki's mind.
"No! No! No! NO! I REFUSE TO LET THE ABYSS HAVE ME AGAIN!" Naruto yelled in anger, Naruto's eyes became malice red, Artorias felt new found strength was flowing within the Uzumaki.
Naruto broke the clash struggle with Artorias and deliver a quick slash to the Knight's left side of his chest. Artorias backed away, he was surprise to as the blow Naruto deliver cut through his armor.
"Heh…heh…heh…" Artorias chuckle.
"What is it?" He asked.
"So…you were touched by the Abyss as well…but seem you escaped before it could consume you completely…but it bears its mark upon you."
"Never…never again will that darkness touch me. It took what I hold dear…I may never have…"
"Say no more. I beg of thee. The spread of the abyss, must be stopped…I cannot stop it…it is too much to bear…I…ugh."
Artorias was soon surrounded by the unknown black fog again, however this time Artorias held his blade close to his chest as if he was trying to summon or channel something? Naruto watched as Artorias was absorbing the black fog that surrounds him.
"AHHHHHH!" Artorias let out inhuman howl as a blast of dark wave pushed Naruto back. Once he pick him off the ground, he looked at Artorias who stood there staring at him.
"Artorias?" Naruto said his name, but no answer was given.
Artorias suddenly jumped towards Naruto with a mid air roll before he brought down his sword which cause a shockwave.
"Damn…did…buff himself?" He asked himself.
Artorias perform the same attack again but this time three times in a row, Naruto had to dodge the attack with a dodge roll in order to avoid being smashed to the ground like a pancake.
Naruto ran away keeping his distance away from powered up Knight, however that would be one mistake Naruto will never forget.
Artorias howl at him, Artorias leap into the air about twenty feet in the air before he flew toward Naruto with a down stab attack.
However Artorias missed due to he was an animal controlled by the darkness of the Abyss. Naruto used this moment to channel his sword with fire. Artorias perform the air leap attack again.
"RAHHHH!" Artorias roared.
"ARTORIAS!" Naruto cried.
SLASH!
In a bright white flash, both Naruto and Artorias swing their blades as each one hoped their blade made their mark.
Naruto stood there in a position he swing his sword as Artorias stood behind him. The two waited for someone to make the first move.
"Gah." Naruto fell to right knee. He stabbed the ground using his sword as support. Artorias didn't missed as armor fell apart, there was a long cut mark across the right side of his chest.
"Ah, Sif, there you are." Artorias cough. Naruto looked over his right shoulder and saw no one there. Artorias was seeing things or was he?
"All of you, forgive me. For I have availed you nothing…"
"Heh…ah Ornstein…you were right, but so was I. Strength what you do with strength if you don't have something to protect…"
"Human," He called out Naruto "What is thou's name?"
"Naruto, Naruto Uzumaki." He said his name.
"Go on…Naruto. You and I…are alike. We both touched by the Abyss. I see it in your eyes…you lost someone dear. I failed my lord, my King. Ah Lord Gwyn. I couldn't save Princess Dusk, please save her human. She's just beyond the town…but beware…"
"The Abyss is unkind and shows no mercy to those who disturbed his slumber…Sif, Ornstein, Gough, Ciaran…farewell my friends…" Artorias fell to his knees he let out a screaming howl that sent chills of death down anyone's spine.
"RAGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
The darkness burst out from Artorias's body and took aim towards Naruto, the dark wave of energy however shot right through him.
"GAH!" Naruto screamed.
Naruto gasp for that very moment, he saw images popped within his head. However this images were not his memories but rather Artorias's. He saw the Abysswalker fighting dark creature alongside what appears to be a large wolf. He saw Artorias a giant creature he couldn't see what the creature was.
Then another image that was shown was Artorias laughing with three other people, one of the people Naruto knew, the Dragonslayer Ornstein.
Artorias crash down to the floor he fell on his back as he finally let go of his sword.
Naruto stood up after he rested for a moment. He looked at the corpse of the Abysswalker, it looked so sad as he looked at the corpse. Naruto placed his right hand on Artorias chest.
"Rest in peace Sir Artorias…"
Naruto saw his right hand slowly turned black, his eyes widen in fear. He gripped and spoke to himself.
"Keep it together, keep it together Naruto. You are strong, you are stronger than this. You beat the Four Kings…this dark you can overcome…you can overcome it."
"That may be…" The voice of a woman was heard behind him.
Naruto didn't say anything he just stood there looking over Artorias body.
"I saw the battle…I thank you for saving Artorias. Artorias was consumed by the Abyss, he was weaken from his battle with the Abyss. Artorias was known as Gwyn best left hand Knight."
"Left hand?" Naruto noticed in the fight, he using his right hand.
"So…he was using his right hand. He was already weaken too."
"He knew the Abyss would take over…he left this task to you now, human." The woman said.
"Fighting Sir Artorias, the Knight of Legend, he was holding back or rather he wanted me to win." Naruto was unsure.
"If you lose then all would be lost. Here take this." The woman toss a pair of armor beside him, Naruto looked at the armor set he was given.
"It may not be heavy as his, but it will suit you well. Abysswalker…"
'So we're playing that card huh? Whatever, I'll do this in his honor.'
Naruto was given a copy of Artorias armor set, the armor was just like Artorias but in human size.
Naruto walked over to Artorias and grabbed the Abysswalker's sword.
"I am surprise, human. You're able to carry Artorias's blade."
"I've carried heaviler things before this is nothing. Excuse me miss, but would you mind bury him somewhere nice? I'm off to save Princess Dusk."
"I will, but be carefully, human. You will find there is no light where you're headed."
"Not the first time I've travel into darkness." Naruto walked off.
Later on that day:
Naruto found a key which unlock a nearby tower, from the tower he heard a loud humming noise.
Naruto climb a ladder which lend him to a large room within the tower, in the middle of the tower was a very large giant man. The man wore broze colored armor with a large helmet, beside him was a very large giant bow.
"Hm? A visitor, have we?" The armored giant spoke, his voice was deep and strong.
"Thou must be the one who freed Artorias. An old friend he was, and thanks to thee. He left this world with honour intact. And here I am, retired and blind."
'He's blind?' Naruto thought, he found it hard to believed.
"Of little help to thee, I am afraid."
"No worries, I came to what was up here." Naruto explained his reason.
"If thou seeketh to explore this domain, be wary of a black dragon. I fear thee no match for this terrible beast."
'A black dragon?' He thought.
"Excuse me sir when I came here...I was attack by a monster...I could not see it. As if it was the abyss." The giant made a sighing noise.
"I suspect thou has taken a gander at it. But the Dark of the Abyss, which swallowed poor Artorias, threatens to devour our entire land of Oolacile. It seems that this dire fate is unavoidable. But, seduced by a Dark serpent or no. They awoke that thing themselves, and drove it mad…One's demise is always one's own making."
"The dark of the abyss…" Naruto shut his eyes as he felt his soul troubled by that word alone.
"If thine wish is to succeed poor Artorias, and challenge the spread of the Dark. Then thou must face Manus, Father of the Abyss." Naruto felt deep darkness of the feeling. A deep cold chill that felt Naruto remember, the darkness that he felt from Artorias and the same darkness he felt when he battle the Four Kings, however this dark was stronger, as something about it felt so…originally.
"The Dark emanates from Manus himself. Even if this land shall expire, thou may be able to prevent further corrosion. But…even so, one day the flames will fade, and only Dark will remain. And even a legend such as thineself can do nothing to stop that."
Naruto turned away and left the tower. He looked up at the sky as the skies turned dark and the sun set. He would need of rest, after dealing with Artorias wore him out and good rest he would need. Naruto headed off to the nearest bonfire and rested there.
The very next day:
"Hello Sir. The other day...I encounter a black dragon...and." He sigh hard.
"Good morrow...is the Black Dragon posing thee duress?"
"Yes, what do you know of it?" Naruto asked with a frown.
"Yes, I thought as much. He is called Kalameet. A ferocious dragon indeed, even mighty Anor Londo dared not provoke his ire."
'Wait…the dragon that fearsome that even Ornstein dare not to battle? That's one badass dragon!'
"I see little good coming from this, but…Thy intent is to persevere to the bitter end, hmm?"
"Yes I will challenge Kalameet!" Naruto rise his right hand in the air.
"Hah hah hah!" The large giant Knight laughed.
"Good, good. What is bravery, without a dash of recklessness! I have taken a liking to thee. And I owe thee much for they service to Artorias. Now watch, and see how Gough hunts dragons." Gough chuckled.
Gough reached for his giant bow. He found his bow and stood up, he stood still for a moment. He held his bow and steady his focus his aim to where Naruto stood, but Gough aimed higher into the air.
There the two heard the roar of the Black Dragon Kalameet.
Naruto had encounter Kalameet before he met Artorias, however the dragon saw Naruto not a threat and left him be. Kalameet appearance matched his title, he was a black dragon who flames was black as the Abyss. Kalameet had one eye, that one eye was display on his forehead.
As Kalameet took into the skies.
Gough took a deep breath and remain silence for a minute. As Kalameet took flight into the air and let out another roar.
"Hrrmmm…" Gough focus his aim.
VROOM! Gough fired his arrow.
"RAHHH!" Kalameet as Gough arrow found its mark, Kalameet was shot in the back as the black dragon fell, once he fell a loud rumble was heard.
"You shot him…amazing your blind…yet you got him." Naruto was shock yet amazed.
"Hah hah! Yes, a truer shot was never loosed! That bat will be grounded for a good spell! The rest is in thine hands. I await good tidings. Ahh, dragon slaying. Knighthood's highest calling…"
"He will be tough to deal with."
"He is an ancient dragon. Skyward or no, will not be put down easily. Dragons shall never be forgotten. We knights fought valiantly, but for every one of them, we lost three score of our own."
"Wow…"
"Exhilaration, pride, hatred, rage…the dragon teased out our dearest emotions. Thou will understand, one day or maybe…sooner than thou knows. At thy twilight, old thoughts return, in great waves of nostalgia."
"Thank you Gough." He turned away and made his way to face the Black Dragons.
"Farewell, proud human. May every honor be bestowed upon thee."
Sometime later:
After traveling through the ruins of a town, Naruto found his way to deeper undergrounds. From there he found himself in a place where light was not welcome, as not a single ray of light was seen.
Naruto jumped down not knowing what lies down below the dark pits.
Hearing the sounds of someone or something coming his way, Naruto ready his sword and shield for whatever was coming his way.
There in the darkness he saw it. Its bright glowing red eyes or rather many red eyes. It had horns on horns on horns that were long and thick, in its right hand it held a large axe-like staff. The creature was using it as if it was a cane. The creature's left hand was giant and large.
The creature stopped and saw Naruto, the creature didn't move or say anything to the Uzumaki, Naruto looked behind the creature and saw Princess Dusk, Dusk was on the ground he wasn't sure was she alive or not all he knew was Dusk needed his help.
Naruto took one step back, once he did the broken pendent he wore around his neck jiggle. The creature saw the broken pendent around the Uzumaki's neck.
"Grrr…ahhh RAHHH!" The creature growled at him.
'This must be him…Manus, Father of the Abyss. To think the Abyss came from him, all of this darkness…came from him. I have to save Dusk. To think…everything that I am…came from you. You…the first…human the prime of my race…'
End of Memory of Crownless King:
Present Time:
"So this Volt thinks he can defeat our King because he has his book. So where is this Dark Castle at?" Alu asked Esdeath.
"From One of the Four, The Pursuer told me where it is. We're still far from the Dark Castle, if we hurry we shall make there before Dusk." The Ice Queen told Alu.
"Ah that should be enough." Alu smiled. While riding her horse, Alu took out a paper and pen and start writing.
"What are you doing?" Seras asked with a curious look.
"Writing a letter." Alu answered.
"To who?" Ria asked.
"Volt," Alu said with a calm voice.
"May I ask why are you writing a letter to the enemy?" Seras asked again.
"Oh I just want to let Volt know, just how special he is." Alu grew a scary grin.
"Oh…its one of those letters again isn't it." The females of the group sweatdrop together as Alu nodded.
"And done," The letter was placed in a scroll, Alu summon a crow from a nearby tree, after giving the crow the letter. The bird took off to make its delivery.
"I hope he enjoy it." Alu laughed.
The Dark Castle:
"My Lord!" One of the Volt's men rushed into the throne room.
Volt watched as his men was building him a new throne after Naruto destroyed the old one.
"What is it?" He asked.
"Here, a letter was sent to you but by who I do not know." The man said, while handing over a scroll to Volt.
Volt opened the scroll as he read what the letter scroll was written.
Dear Volt
I wanted send you this friendly little letter, to inform you of your imminent demise. For you have crossed blades with me and stands in my way. You are one foolish man, but I have to admit you have the balls to not back away. If you're curious about the frequency of which I've sent this letter, it is merely to instill as much fear as I can. As if basting a turkey. Which I will then proceed to have sex with. THAT'S RIGHT I'm going to FUCK the fear turkey! YOU'RE THE FEAR TURKEY BITCH!
From your destroyer, the Crownless King
Volt wasn't sure how to take or even understand the letter, he was just confuse so confuse it wasn't even funny. But yet he couldn't help but felt a hint of fear as he read the letter. He noticed he was sweating, he wipe his forehead before crashing the letter tossing it aside.
'What the hell was that about…why do I feel so...threaten…'
Back with Alu and the others:
"He got it." Alu grin, while she chuckle.
"How did he take it?" Ria asked.
"He's confuse but scared oh he's scared I can tell. I felt the fear as he read that letter." Alu laughed.
"How can you be sure?" Esdeath asked, while frowning.
"That's because that letter was a piece of me. Think of it as a tracker just in caused we get lost."
"Hey I'm not like Nine!" Esdeath yell.
"Yes, I know." Alu chuckled.
"You're very annoying corpse." Esdeath sighed.
"Don't call me that." Alu bare her teeth.
"Why, when it's true."
"No…I'm not a corpse. I'm alive, I'm alive just as much as you draw breath busty sow." Alu looked away and focus her attention in the path to the Dark Castle.
'I'm alive, I'm alive because of him. I'm alive because of you, my King. I'm alive because of you, dad.' Alu's mind returned to the past, in the past where her ties with the King began.
Alu's Memories:
Far into the past during the youth of the Crownless King's rain.
Naruto rushed into a room while carrying pregnant Astraea. Today was a very special day, today was the day Astraea and Naruto child would be born. Behind the couple were Nico Robin and Astraea's followers.
However, the event of happiest was changed into an event of worry. Naruto wasn't just carrying a pregnant Astraea but a wounded pregnant Astraea. While trying to show her way of God to help others in need, she was stabbed by fellow member of the Church, after casting her as a fiend and demon, since Astraea did have aid of Naruto and his undead soldiers and knights.
"Naruto, wait outside we'll take care of this." Robin told him.
"Wait I won't leav-" Robin snapped a scary glare at the King.
"Wait…outside..." She said with an angry tone.
"Fine…" He turned away.
"I don't want him to worry while being here. Astraea I want you to breathe, you've been stabbed and hopefully the twins are ok." Astraea slowly nod her head.
Naruto waited outside with a young M and Sir Alonne.
"Father please calm down, I am sure mother will be fine." M tried to calm his king, Naruto sigh as he shook his head.
"I can't believe…" He punched the stone wall which he cracked.
"Astraea has been dead to the world for over many, many years. Their reaction was…foresaw but still. That was no way to act or treat Lady Astraea." Alonne shook his head in disappointment.
"Calling mother a devil, what do they know? They don't know, mother is kind and gentle. How dare they attack her!" M growl in anger, Naruto walked over to M and patted him on the head.
"Calm down M. Your mother is strong, Astraea…is strong. The world she once knew has change over the years." He said, while frowning but he soon grew a smile.
Two hours later have passed, Robin exited the room and there she greeted the men in the waiting room.
"What happen?" Naruto asked Robin.
Robin made a frowning expression which made everyone worry.
"Astraea's fine, she was able to deliver the twins. However," Robin paused which cause Naruto to ask her.
"What?" He looked scared.
"One of the twins survived…the other one not so lucky. I'm sorry Naruto." Naruto lower his head, he was a father, a father he created life with a woman he loved. He was having twins but…only one survived.
"Thank you Robin." He said with a big smile.
"I'm not finish Naruto." She said with a serious stare.
"What do you mean not finish?" His left eyebrow rise, he wonder what she mean.
"Since you are undead…and Astraea was a demon. The curse…has…" Robin sucked in her lips, she refuse to tell him the rest. He grabbed Robin by her shoulders.
"Robin…please tells me. What happen to the other twin?" He asked.
"Your child…is a curse undead. She died few minutes after birth, stabbed in the heart by the very dragger that stabbed Astraea. Since she is a curse undead, she can't move on and the wound won't close since the dragger was a blessed weapon, the demon side still remain left inside Astraea and has pass down to one of the twins, and is in effect she's bleeding to death and yet she is revived soon after, again and again. All she can do is cry and cry until she dies again." She explained to her king, Robin walked pass the shocked King.
Naruto fell to his knees and held his head.
"No…No…No…NO!" He smashed his fists down to the ground.
"Even my children are not safe from this DAMN CURSE! I LOST MY MEMORIES OF MY FORMER LIFE! I LOST THE FIRST WOMAN I LOVE! I LOST MY HOME! AND NOW EVEN MY CHILDERN ARE NOT SAFE FROM THIS CURSE! WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT FROM ME? WHATELSE WILL YOU TAKE!" Naruto screamed.
He punched the ground again and again letting out his anger. He held his head and let out a howling cried of lost and anger.
M was about to reached out to his adopted father, but Sir Alonne grabbed his arm and shook his head. M frown as all he could do is watched the man he called father scream and curse again and again.
One week has passed since the birth of the twins of Maiden Astraea and Naruto Uzumaki. Astraea took care of their surviving twin which they named Cammy. Though she lost her other child, Astraea stay strong and loved the child they were bless to have.
Naruto however, unlike Astraea he didn't take losing his child like any other parent would, but losing his child who was effect by the curse of the undead was much worse. The curse of the undead, keeps the person alive even after they were killed in battle, but as the curse grows it become stronger and its effects grows from keeping you alive after death but also steals the memories of your life one memory for every death.
Naruto was in his laboratory, in his laboratory his cursed child stood on the table crying as she bleeds from her wound.
Naruto used almost everything that was used to cure wounds, from healing spells to using Warmth flames to using healing stones. But there was one thing that kept his daughter from crying and dying again.
The Estus Flask a green bottle filled with gold liquid that can heal any undead from any wound, but however when it comes to poison or bleeding this would drive the pain away for a time.
"Baby I know its hurts. I'm trying to find a way to fix this." He said to his infant child.
"Honey if I knew this would affect you…" He sigh while frowning, his infant daughter looked at him while drinking a small Estus Flask bottle.
Behind Naruto was a large glass capsule, inside where he kept the piece of Walter's power, Walter the great vampire lord whom Naruto defeated. The black liquid open its eye and set its glaze upon the trouble king and saw what was happening as it heard every word the king said.
"I can help…" A voice spoke.
"Huh?" He looked around but saw no one.
"I can help…I can help you, Crownless King." The voice spoke again.
"Who are you?" Naruto asked, while looking around.
"I can help you, I can help end the suffering of your child. Please…" Naruto didn't trust this bodyless voice, but to see his daughter die and live again was too much for him to bear.
"All you must do is ask, the asking is yours…"
"You know what it is, that I ask. I want to help my child, I want her pain to end. I want to heal her pain, but I'm powerless to help those I love…once again." He frowned.
"If you would have your wish, then GIVE ME MINE!"
"What would you want in return? If its souls I have souls to give, I would give you mine."
"No…not yours. I have what you have lost. Our deal is done. Crownless King please enjoyed your prize."
"Huh what do you mean?" He asked.
Naruto heard his daughter cry, he turned his attention to her only to see his child was change. His curse undead daughter was different, different slightly but different still. His daughter now had black hair instant of yellow blond, her eyes was orange. His daughter smiled and let out giggles of joy. Naruto grab his child and held her in his arms.
"A deal that will later come into play, but I will worry of that later. If it is a price to have my daughter remain human and not curse with the dark immortality I have, so be it. I will pay for it in tenfold if I must. For you Alu I will pay the ultimate price." He kissed his daughter whom he named Alu on the forehead. Unknowing to Naruto, behind him was now an empty capsule.
Three years later:
Alu and Cammy children of Lady Astraea and King Naruto, though they are twins. Alu was born first about few minutes before Cammy. Alu didn't look like Cammy as neither sister share hair or eye color but however they did share their facial appearance, especially when showing a bored expression.
Naruto was watching his daughters play with one another they were using toy swords, the two share one thing in command they wish to become strong like their father, but they had also shared the kindness and manners of their mother.
While playing, Cammy by mistake smash Alu in the face when Alu lower her head. The blow was strong and cause Alu to breed from her nose.
"Alu…I didn't mean too." Cammy frown, afraid she hurt her sister.
But just when Cammy was about to reached out to her sister, Alu's eyes flash bright red and out from nowhere a shadowy claw shot out from Alu's shadow, Alu had a blood thirst look in her eyes as the shadow claw was ready strike at Cammy, Cammy shut her eyes as she screamed, her scream snapped Alu out of it.
"No!" Alu and Cammy yell/scream.
SLASH!
Cammy opened her eyes to see, Naruto was standing in front of her. Naruto had his Black Knight Sword out, he sliced a piece of the shadow claw but however, he was almost too late. Cammy notice she felt a small pinch of pain, she touched the left side of her cheek.
"Cammy…I'm so sorry…I don't know what overcame me."
"S-stay away." Cammy hide behind Naruto.
Alu looked how scare her sister was, her eyes wonder up and saw Naruto look at the scare Cammy then to Alu, Alu saw how upset yet angry her father's eyes were, before Naruto could say anything Alu turned and ran away.
Astraea came into the training room.
"Naruto, what's wrong I just saw Alu." The Maiden notice the scared Cammy, she ran over to her child. Without saying a word Naruto took and ran hoping to catch up with his confuse but scared oldest child.
Naruto found Alu, who ran outside of the castle. He found her in the dark forest which was called the darkroots forest.
Alu alone, she ran to the heart of the forest, there she cried.
"Alu, why did you run? You know it's dangerous outside the castle's walls." He told his daughter.
"I hurt…Cammy. I don't what came over me. We were just playing, then suddenly a voice in my head. It said it would protect me, next thing I knew was…Cammy was hiding behind you." Alu looked at her father with tears running down her face.
"Honey, it's my fault. I know what's going on with you." He said, with a sad expression frown.
"You're fault?" She said while still crying.
"Before you and your sister was born. Your mother was attack, Cammy but you however didn't. And thanks to me…the curse that was placed upon me, was carried over to you. You would cry again and again, while bleeding to death. I was powerless to smooth your pain, to silence your cries."
Alu looked at her father, she could feel the despair of this fault coming from him.
"A voice spoke to me, and made a deal with me. The voice would stop your suffering for a price. That price I would not know…until now." Alu notice her father had his sword in hand. Alu quickly backed away from her father as fear build up in her heart.
"You…no…not my father…you want to KILL ME!" Alu's voice became darken as her orange eyes turned red. Alu's shadow grew and spread.
Astraea arrived as she was companied by M and Ornstein.
"Alu, Naruto." She called out her child and lover.
"Alu calm down."
"How can I be calm, I know…you made a deal to save my life and now you want to take my life!" She yelled.
"No…I…what happen to you is my fault! It should be on my shoulders to burden, I passed on this curse to my loving daughter, but I traded it in for one curse for another. Damnit…how can I be a great king when I keep dragging my troubles with those close to me." He punched the ground.
But then a new voice spoke, the voice was a male's voice and voice came from Alu.
"You are a fool, Crownless King."
Alu looked different, her skin was pale, her eyes was dark crimson and her surround her like armor.
"You saved your daughter because you knew there was no other way. Now you want to back down on our deal? I would end your child's suffering yes, but in return I would have a host, someone worthy of using me." The possess Alu said.
"Who are you, demon." Naruto growl.
"That's sad…you would call your own child a demon, when you yourself was called a demon on the battlefield. The Crownless King…no before that time. Naruto Uzumaki!"
"Who are you?" He asked again.
"I am…no…I was a piece of Walter, you remember him yes? The power he left behind. Years being locked away by you I grew tired and needed a worthy host…I am power. I need to be use, what is good of power if it's locked away, never to be used?"
"Why my Alu? Why did she have to become your host?" He asked.
"Because, you made that choice you didn't want her to suffer any longer, Crownless King I am no danger to Alu, her soul is safe. She is but a Mistress that I obey her every command. Like a loyal dog I will serve to protect her, because you are unlike the others. Please don't prove me wrong. You said it yourself, you would pay the ultimate price if you must…in tenfold."
"I'm tired…so tired of losing…so tired of seeing allies fall before me. So tired of living this long life alone…"
"But you are not alone Crownless King…no…father..." The possess Alu grew a smile.
"Can I be accepted as a father, as I was accepted as a lover, as I was accepted as a King?" He looked at Alu and M then Astraea and finally Ornstein.
"My lord I will follow you to the ends of this world." Ornstein said, with a kneeling bow.
"You are a fool, but you are the fool that I love." Astraea smiled.
"Alu will accept you Naruto, but can you accept yourself and the choices you will make, the choices you must make to protect what you hold dear? You hold a special place in Alu's heart. You are not just her father, but her hero. You gave her life and freedom from pain. Alu wishes to speak with you." Alu appearance change and she return to her normal orange eyes self.
"Father…I…" He patted her on the head.
"I know." He smiled "I don't hate you, I will never. I never plan to kill you either. I'm just afraid…afraid of being hated, afraid of losing. I don't want to lose you. I rather go hollow than to lose my children. I lost so much in the past...I refuse to be rob of my future and the future of my children as well."
"Father what about Cammy?" She asked, while frowning.
"Your sisters, twins in fact, Alu if something happen to me and your mother. Remember you and Cammy always have each other. Family may have trouble from time to time, but remember family stick together no matter what." Alu hugged her father, Astraea stood by her daughter and lover. Alu soon hugged her mother and soon after gave M a very tight gripping hug.
"Alu…let go…your crushing me…"
Few years later:
Naruto was having a meet in the dining room, the meeting was being held by a group called the Night Raid, a group of hired hands Assassin who against the evil within the empire which is being control by a young Emperor.
Naruto agree to help this group after a small group of the Emperor army discovered Naruto's land and Castle and try to claim it for their Emperor, however unlucky for them Naruto was one King who refuse to hand over what he sacrifice to create.
Seeing this Emperor was nothing but an evil that threaten the peace which rain over Naruto's land for so many years.
Naruto decided the world needed him once more.
The group had totally of six members, Akame, Leone, Lubbock, Mine, Najenda, and Tatsumi.
"I will help," His answer was.
"Really? No fooling?" The short green hair young man, by the name of Lubbock said.
"I am." Naruto said, with a smiled "I own you guys. I really own Akame and Tatsumi for helping me escape from Esdeath's forces. I woke up and was little rusty, sleep can make you weak…especially for a guy like me, since my 'sleep' is normal."
"What ya mean, are you a vampire or something?" Lubbock asked, while looking nervous.
"No, don't be silly. I was…no I rather tell you later let before I met you guys I had another great battle...oh. It seems I have unwanted guests." Naruto notice, standing behind him was his Dragonrider.
"Who is it?" He asked his Dragonrider.
"The group known as The Wild Hunts they have been spotted." The Dragonrider said, the Night Raid looked worried but however, Naruto didn't looked worried at all he was pissed.
He rose from his chair and turned leaving the dining room, but not before he told the Night Raid.
"Everyone would you please wait for me on the upper floor, my Dragonrider will escot you. This won't take long…I trust you." He said in an emotionless tone.
'The Wild Hunts dares to enter my land? I will not allow them to bear their mark here. Not a soul will fall to their evil.'His thoughts were.
KABOOM!
Suddenly there was a loud explosion which came outside, Naruto made hast and rush outside his Castle.
"Syura why did you destroy that statue?" A young girl asked her leader.
"Tsk, it look so old boring." The man named Syura said.
When the smoke cleared, Naruto stood outside but he wasn't by himself. With him was Sir Alonne, Ornstein, Black Knight Ultra Greatsword, Astraea and One of the Four The Pursuer.
The first thing Naruto's eyes lay upon on was the destroyed statue, the statue wasn't a statue of himself and nor was it just a normal statue. The statue was someone whom Naruto knew and he high respect for, for this person was a brother to Naruto, a brother in arms and a brother of soul.
The statue of was Knight Solaire of Astora, the sun warrior or the sunbro to Naruto.
Naruto's eyes shot up, looking at his unwelcome guests.
"You just destroy….a 20 feet tall statue of Solaire of Astora…"
The Wild Hunts looked at Naruto with a bored look on their faces.
"Tsssk…." He took a deep breath "SO how I can help you?" He said with a large wide smile.
"SO you're the Crownless King?" Syura asked.
"Supp." Naruto admit his title. The Wild Hunts was bit surprise to see this is what the Crownless King look like and act like so far.
"Ah, thought you be old as shit from the legends." Syura smirked.
"Some legends say one thing, history another and myth tells bit of both. So what brings you here? Surely not just destroying one of my prize statues?" Naruto's eyes slowly became red, he slowly drip into anger.
"The Emperor wishes for you and him to form a pact of…peace. We are here to ensure the pact. We are guest of his holiness." Syura smiled.
Naruto wasn't paying attention to Syura but rather his teammates, Naruto notice one of the females of the group couldn't stop staring at him with a love sick stare, another member which was male couldn't stop staring at Astraea with lustful eyes, but Naruto saw the youngest looking member had a bored look on her face as if she didn't want to be here.
"Hey you!" Naruto called out the male who was staring at Astraea.
"Yeah what?" The male known as Enshin said.
"Stop staring at my woman." He said with angry glare.
"Why should I? She's beautiful." He licked his lips.
"Ugh…" Astraea sweatdrop as Alonne stood in front of her.
Naruto walked over to the Wild Hunts and said with his eyes closed while showing a friendly smiled.
"If you don't stop staring at her with those rapist eyes, I'm going to cut your balls off and ripped off the thing that makes you a man. And don't think this is an empty threat, I am a man of my word and I keep my promises…every…last…one…of…them." Naruto opened his eyes showing his malice eyes.
"Ok…sorry…" Enshin sweatdrop, Naruto turned away.
"She's just one of them that I want to taste oh well, there's always the maids-"
POW!
Naruto sucker punch Enshin in the face which knocked him down to the floor.
"Don't even think about it you little shit!" Naruto walked away.
While up above watching from the window, the Night Raid watched their new ally.
"Holy crap did you see that!" Lubbock said, with a gasp.
"He's strong." Leone grinned.
Back down with Naruto.
"Ah forgive Enshin rudeness he's not around here." Syura sweatdrop along with the others.
"If I catch anyone of you thinking, doing, talking or even THINK about that! I'll punch you so hard your soul will crack!" Naruto threaten the Wild Hunts.
'I don't know why, but I don't think he was lying.' The Girl known as Dorothea thought.
"Daddy is everything ok?" A little girl's voice was heard. All eyes looked and saw a young blond hair, it was his five year old daughter Cammy.
"Aww, isn't she cute." One of the females of Wild Hunt said.
Suddenly Naruto saw one of the males members of Wild Hunt, who was dressed as a clown grew a large smiled. And ran towards little Cammy with open arms.
"SHE'S SO FUCKING CUTE!" The clown known as Champ wouldn't wait to greet Cammy open arms and give her 'love' as he has done to so many children be it boys or girls.
Champ dodged Alonne quick downslash and Ornstein stab trust, Astraea stood in front of her daughter, she stare at Champ with strong angry eyes.
"You will not have my daughter, monster!"
"Shut up! Get out of my way! I want to see that cute angel!" Champ pulled back his right hand as he was about deliver a powerful punch to Astraea's face.
Grab!
"Huh?" Champ said with widen eyes.
Champ stopped in his track or rather something stopped him in his tracks. Champ looked down and saw a giant black claw which rose from the ground was holding Champ in mid air.
"Stay from my mother and my sister!" A darken voice spoke from the unknown.
The shadow claw threw Champ back to his allies.
Coming out from the shadow of Astraea appear to be a five year old girl with long black hair. The girl was Alu.
"Mother are you okay?" She asked Astraea, the Saint Maiden respond with a nod, she grabbed little Cammy and carry her away.
"Lady Astraea go with Lady Cammy we shall take care of this fool." Ornstein ready his spear.
"Lady Alu you must go as well." Sir Alonne spoke.
"Like hell! You should have seen the shit that Clown did! I just read his thoughts and he was…he was…" Alu growl as she bare her teeth which became long fangs.
"I know, I see it on their faces, in their eyes. The ones whom killed Seras's parents and left her for dead."
"Seras? Seras-chan is still alive!?" Champ said with joyful smile.
"Where is she? Where is she I wanted to see her, I want give her so much love. I couldn't because of your little samurai friend there." Champ pointed at Sir Alonne.
Champ running toward the Castle's front doors only to be kicked in the face by Naruto.
"Not a single one of you shits shall enter my castle! Not a drop of sin of you shall walk my halls, not a single one of you, males especially shall glaze upon the females of my castle. I take it back from my promise to my new friends, I'll handle you myself."
"My Lord?" Alonne asked.
"Yes, Alonne. Kill them all."
Naruto body glow dark red aura, as Alonne's sword glow dark red, Ornstein spear spark of lighting.
"I'm going color my bedroom with your blood." Alu said to Champ.
"Alu get back, go and protect your mother."
"Father…I…"
"GO NOW! I REFUSE HAVE MY FAMILY BE RAPED AND MURDERED! ESPECIALLY IN MY OWN HOME!" Naruto yelled at his daughter.
Alu frown but glare at the Wild Hunts especially at Champ.
"You make him pay you hear me father…make…him…pay!" Alu said with a mean glare as she melted into the ground disappearing from her father's sight.
"I will, I will. I'll make them suffer with every life they destroy, I'll make them suffer hundred times the pain."

Present time The Dark Castle:
KABOOM!
The front gate of the Dark Castle was blown up…once again.
"OH YEAH!" Alu shouted.
However when they arrived after blowing the front gate open. What they found within the dark castle was a surprise sight.
Standing in the throne room wasn't Volt but some of his men and some Orcs and red Imp, but most of all standing in front of them was a man, who wore a long black, his face was hidden as it was overshadow by his hood.
"Ah so our guest did arrive?" The hooded man said.
"Who are you? Where's Volt?" Esdeath asked.
"Ah, you JUST missed him. He took off, he took his best and couple of his new allies with him, saying something about stealing the virginity of a Shine Maiden and half blood-Elf and meeting an old friend too. I was placed here as the castle's watcher until he returns." The hooded man explained.
"Damn!" Seras cursed.
"As you can see, I'm not like my friends here. I have different taste on pleasures. I enjoy fighting for my pleasure. How about we play a game?" The hooded man brought out a deck of cards.
"Interesting…a deck of hand full or a royal play?" Alu said, with a smirk.
"How about THIS!" The hooded man threw his deck of cards, the cards was thrown with such speed, the card nib Seras's right cheek.
"He's mine!" Alu charged through the remains of the Castle defenders.
Volt's men and the Orc ran towards Seras, Esdeath and Ria as they all had one thing on their minds, however unlucky for Volt's men, the women in Naruto's castle were no weaklings.
While the other females were slaughtering the Castle's defenders, Alu was dealing with the hooded man.
"So what do they call you stranger?" Alu asked.
"Luxord, the Gambler of Fate. I play the game of life, with all bets on the line. Care to play with me little girl?" Luxord removed his hood showing his face, he have platinum blond hair, very short and worn in a caesar cut, he has blue eyes, for facial hair, a goatee with the same color as of his hair, he had five silver piercings on his ears.
"Little girl?" Alu laughed "You need your eyes check, little boy! Fine then while my friends having fun slaughtering your men, I'll have my fun. I hadn't had this much fun in ages." Alu grin.
Alu raise her right hand slightly in the air forming a fist while her red eyes glow, she grew a large smirk.
"Now come on, show me what you got!"
