Okay, so this chapter is new. Completely new, As I said in the summery, I decided to add on and edit this story. So instead of going straight to the attack on the Carrier it will be going to when Tony, Steve and Bruce confront Fury on Phase Two. And there is a purpose for the added tension between Steve and Tony.

Tony and Steve were both sitting on one of the desks as Fury walked into the lab.

"Mr. Stark, what are you doing?"

"Uh- Kinda wondering the same thing about you." Tony said as he ate some more of his blueberries.

"You're suppose to be locating the tesseract."

"We are." Bruce spoke up. "The model's locked. and we're sweeping for the signature now. When we get a hit, we'll have the location within half a mile."

"Yeah, then you get your Cube back. No muss, no fuss." Tony looked back at the screen, "What is phase two?"

Steve walked into the lab carrying one of Fury's weapons. He placed the weapon on a table, "Phase two is SHIELD uses the Cube to make weapons. Sorry, computer was moving a little slow for me."

"Rogers, we gathered everything related to the Tesseract. This does not mean that we're making-"

"I'm sorry, Nick." Tony called from the other side of the lab. Tony turned the screen to face Fury and Steve. "What were you lying?"

"I was wrong, Director. The world hasn't changed a bit." Steve addressed Fury as Natasha and Thor walked in.

Bruce looked towards Natasha. "Did you know about this?"

"You want to think about removing yourself from this environment, Doctor?" Natasha asked.

Bruce laughed sarcastically, "I was in Calcutta. I was pretty well removed."

"Loki is manipulating you."

"And you've been doing what, exactly?"

"You didn't come here because I bat my eyelashes at you."

"Yeah, And I'm not leaving because suddenly you get a little twitchy." Bruce grabbed onto the screen, "I'd like to know why SHIELD is using the Tesseract build weapons of mass destruction. "

"Because of him." Fury snapped, pointing at Thor.

"Me?" Thor asked confused.

"Last year, Earth had a visitor from another planet who had a grudge match that leveled a small town. We learned that not only that not only are we not but we are hopelessly, hilariously, outgunned."

"My people want nothing but peace with your planet." Thor defended himself and Asgard. "I can say the same for Vanaheim. Danella is Queen, she to would want peace between the realms."

"But you're not the only people out there, are you?" Nick argued. "And you're not the only threat. The world's filling up with people who can't be matched, that can't be controlled."

"Like you controlled the Cube?" Steve spoke up.

"Your work with the Tesseract is what drew Loki to it, and his allies. It is a signal to all the realms the Earth is ready for a higher form of war." Thor fumed.

"A higher form?" Steve questioned.

"You forced our hand. We had to come up with something." Nick started.

"A nuclear deterrent." Tony cut him off. "Because that always calms everything down."

"Remind me again how you made your fortune, Stark." Fury scoffed.

"I'm sure if he still made weapons, Stark would be neck-deep-" Steve started but was cut off by Tony.

"Excuse me? My daughter and I stopped making weapons along time ago. And it was my father's fortune. Mine is what creations that Ella came up with. And how is this now about me?" Tony questioned, sounding insulted.

"I'm sorry, isn't everything?" Steve replied mockingly.

"I thought humans were more evolved than this."

"Excuse me, did we come to your planed and blow stuff up?" Fury snapped.

"You treat your champions with such mistrust?" Thor questioned as the others started to argue.

"Are you boys really that naive? SHIELD monitors potential threats."

"Fury! Why is my daughter listed as a maximum threat!?" Tony jumped up of the desk, glaring at Fury.

"What do expect us to do when Thor comes here and tells us that if your daughter was in the mood, she could destroy a town, easily by herself. So yeah, your daughter is labeled as a major threat." Fury yelled back.

"Captain America's on threat watch?" Bruce questioned.

Natasha looked back at Bruce, "We ALL are!"

Tony then turned to Rogers, "You're on that list? Are you above or below angry bees?"

"I swear, Stark, one more wisecrack out of you..." Steve started to reply, annoyance lacing his voice.

"Verbal threat! Threatening! I'm being threatened!" Tony raised his hands, stepping back.

They all continued yelling at each other, not noticing that Loki's staff started glowing brighter.

"You speak of control, yet you court chaos." Thor's voice rose above the others in the lab.

Dr. Banner spoke up, "It's his M.O., isn't it? I mean, what are we, a team? No, no, no. We're a chemical mixture that makes chaos. We're... we're a time-bomb."

Fury noticed how close Dr. Banner was getting to Loki's staff, "You need to step away."

"Why shouldn't the guy let off a little steam?" Tony questioned, placing his hand on Steve's shoulder.

Steve snapped, shoving Tony off him. "You know damn well why! Back off!"

"Oh, I'm starting to want you to make me." Tony replied.

"Yeah, big man in a suit of armor." Steve walked around Tony, "Take that off, what are you?"

"Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist." Before Steve could interrupt Tony added on, "I am also the father of an amazing girl who will take over the family company and apparently is more powerful then anyone else in this room."

"I know guys with none of that worth ten of you." Steve replied. "And I've seen the footage. The only thing you really fight for is yourself. You're not the guy to make the sacrifice play, to lay down on on a wire and let the other guy crawl over you "

"Knew." Tony answered back, "Everyone you know is dead. My daughter is worth more to everyone in this room then you ever will be. And if you read my file, you would know that I would do anything for my daughter. I was willing to give my life for her before she was even legally my daughter. As for the wire, I would just cut it."

Steve scoffed, "Always a way out. You know you may not be a threat but you better stop pretending to be a hero."

"A hero? Like you?" Tony pulled out his wallet, Showing Steve multiple pictures of his daughter at various stages of her life, "I'm her hero. Everything I do, I do for my daughter. You? You're a laboratory experiment, Rogers. Everything special about you came out of a bottle."

"Put on the suit. Let's go a few rounds." Steve challenged as Tony got in Steve's face.

Thor laughed loudly at the exchange, "You humans are so petty and tiny."

"Yeah This is a tea." Bruce added on.

Nick looked to Agent Romanoff, "would you escort Dr. Banner back to his..."

Bruce Banner cut him off, "Back where? You rented my room."

Nick tried to ease Bruce's annoyance. "The cell was built..."

Bruce cut Fury off again. "In case you needed to kill me, but you can't! I know! I tried!... I got low. I didn't see an end, so I put a bullet in my mouth... and the other guy spit it out! So I moved on. I focused on helping other people. I was good, until you dragged me back into this freak show and put everyone here at risk!" Dr. Banner slowly gets upset as he looks at Romanoff, who gets unnerved. "You wanna know my secret, Agent Romanoff? You wanna know how I stay calm?" Bruce ground out.

Both the Black Widow and Nick Fury placed their hands down to grab their guns..

Steve tried to calmly reason with Bruce. "Doctor Banner... put down the scepter."

Banner looks down and is shocked to see he's holding Loki's scepter, the look of shock on his face. Everyone in the room twitch when one of the computer beeps.

"Got it." Tony spoke up, knowing that the Tesseract was located.

Doctor Banner puts down the scepter and heads to the computer, trying to ease the tension in the room."Sorry, kids. You don't get to see my little party trick after all."

"You located the Tesseract?" Thor asked as he followed Bruce and Tony.

"I could get there the fastest." Tony spoke up.

Thor argued, "The Tesseract belongs on Asgard. No human is a match for it."

Tony didn't listen to Thor and started to walk out of the lab to get on of his suits. Steve grabbed a hold of Tony's arm. "You're not going alone."

"You're gonna stop me?" Tony questioned, slapping Steve's hand off him.

Steve didn't like Tony challenging him. "Put on the suit, let's find out."

Tony didn't back down. "I'm not afraid to hit an old man."

"Put on the suit."

Bruce took off his glasses, trying to completely understand what he was seeing on the computer screen. But before Bruce could warn him about what he saw, an explosion rocked the Carrier, smoke filling up the lab.

Natasha and Bruce were knocked out of one window to a lower level, Steve and Tony were thrown to one end of the lab, where as Thor was thrown to the opposite side, and Fury was blasted to the Cabin of the Carrier.

Coughing, Steve looked to Tony, "Get the suit." Steve helped up Tony and the ran from the lab.

All the agents were running around trying to figure out what was happening.

Maria heard Fury call her. Replying over the comm system. "External detonation. Number three engine is down."

Another agent called for Hill, "Fire in engine three!"

Maria ran over, "Can they get it running? Talk to me!"

"Turbine looks mostly intact but impossible to get out there to make repairs while we're in the air."

"If we lose one more engine we won't be." Maria replied, "Somebody's got t get outside and patch that engine."

"Stark, you copy that?"

"I'm on it. Just make sure someone is protecting my daughter!"

Fury didn't reply to Tony's demands, "Coulson, initiate defensive lockdown in the detention section then get to the armory. Romanoff?"

Natasha didn't reply right away. She looked behind her, seeing that her foot was pinned down by a pipe. She looked to Bruce who was laying face down on the floor as well. "We're okay." Nat replied, as Bruce was panting, trying to keep the Hulk at bay. Natasha watched Bruce struggle with the other guy, "We're okay, right?"

The attack on the Carrier will continue in the next chapter or chapters.

I don't know yet.
