Previously on TIH Chapter 9:
"I'm sorry for all this. You don't seem like a dark creature." I smile, grateful that someone thinks I'm not evil.
"I'm not. But my parents may as well be." I mumble out.
"Ah I see. Well, you don't get to choose what family you're born into." I nod, if only she knew.
"I'll say that…. Now, um, what are you here to do?" I question, my curiosity asks changing the subject.
"I'm sorry, but our protocol states that I have to sedate all dark creatures patients. I really don't want to do this, but I have no choice, I'm sorry." I let her drag on for a second.
"It's okay, just do it quickly." She smiles and jabs the needle into my shoulder. It stings, but I feel the effects almost immediately.
I don't even try to fight, I just let the darkness take over.
The Invisible Horlcrux Chapter 10:
Kara's Pov:
I wake up a while later and feel extremely groggy. The nurse from earlier is in the room and I notice that she is exceptionally happy.
"what's going on?" i ask attempting to sit up. My vision blurs for a second and I pant for air. I try to sit up again but the same thing happens.
The nurse doesn't say anything but helps me to a sitting position. My breathing is still shallow and i note a concerned look on her face. She hands me a cup of water and a few pills.I don't bother questioning them and down the water and force the pills down my throat. I know that I shouldn't be taking pills that I don't know what they are, but I have no strength to argue my aching body. Voldemort did a number on my body. Every movement makes me feel pain.
I take a few deep breaths before my breathing is back to normal. My body tenses for a second and I feel the medicine taking hold of my body. I can tell that it's not a paralytic but I feel my body shutting down. It hurts and I want to scream. Instead, I take a deep breath and bear the pain. It's not as bad as the cruciatus curse, but I can still feel its effect.I know whatever she gave me has temporarily shut down the connection between my magical core and my body. Even if I wanted to do something with my magic, I wouldn't be able to anyway. I don't have the energy to do so. Why did they have to give me that pill? I bet Fudge used his Minister of magic talents to make them give me the pills even though I've done nothing to harm anyone or prove to them that I am a dark creature.
"What's going on?" I ask again. the nurse then looks at me with sad eyes. I can only assume that Fudge is coming for me.
"He's coming for me, isn't he?" She doesn't answer but looks at me. Yes, he's coming.
"Ah, the mistress of darkness is awake. Good." i glare at him angrily.
"Hello minister. To what do i owe the pleasure?" I sarcastically say.
"None of that nonsense. It's time you come back with me to Azkaban." No. I will not go there.
"I'm not going back with you. I'd rather die than go back there." I let out. He looks taken aback.
"No worrying about that, Ms. Anglewood, you will be returning with me." I hear Dumbledore say thankfully.
"But.." The minister says.
"Nonsense. Come minister let us discuss the details in private." The minister looks at me with warning eyes before leaving the room.
"I think it best that you get ready to leave, Miss Anglewood. Your train departs at 11am sharp and it is already 10am." What? It's already September 1st? Dumbledore leaves and I'm left alone. I change out of the horrendous hospital gown and into my robes. A few minutes later Dumbledore comes back in.
"It is time we leave." I nod and walk over to him. He apparates us directly to Kings Cross Station. Dumbledore leaves me and I walk straight to the train. I just barely make the train.
I walk around the train looking for somewhere to sit. Since i'm looking in and out of the sections I don't notice the people pushing past me and run into the worst person possible, Malfoy.
"Watch it. Ah, Kara. What a pleasure it is to see you." He laughs.
"It's always a pleasure to see you too Malfoy" I smirk at him.
"what are you doing here? Word is you were banished form Hogwars by the minister himself." How would he know that? Ugh, next time I see Fudge...
"first off, I'm not banished from anywhere. Secondly, what got you so buddy buddy with the minister?" I sneer at him and make a move to him.
"Watch it boys, you might upset the dark creature." ugh, I'm going to kill Fudge.
"I am not a dark creature." i yell at him angrily. The light above us sparks and both Malfoy and I are taken aback.
"Keep telling yourself that Kara. Like it or not, you will always be her daughter." Malfoy taunts leaving.
"hey, leave my girlfriend alone." What? girlfriend? who's coming to my defense. I turn around and smile at who I see.
Who does Kara see? What's going to happen next? Any guesses?
Sorry for not updating. I'm hoping I'll actually want to write the wonderfulness of this fanfic. Hope y'all still stick aorund.
