A/N: Okay another update of this story, and I thank all of you for the reviews, faves and follows that have come through on this; they are all greatly appreciated.
So this is a that of a more filler chapter, before I do start getting into some more of the heavy stuff in the next one; and that is starting the show down with that of Sebastian and Scott's biological parents and the ones that they are not both living with.
However this chapter isn't that of completely useless, because it is setting up something else as well that will happen on further down the track.

Chapter 9
As the end of the year approached, it became clear to that of New Directions that even with Sebastian, now a part of New Directions; they were still under that of the required number for entering and performing in Sectionals, therefore Finn tracked down that of former Glee club member Sam Evans, who returned to that of the fold and McKinley High when through thanks to some connections of Burt Hummel, had Jonathan Evans get some steady work with a local construction company.
The New Directions then got to constructing that of a perfect set list to get them through to that of the next one Regionals and then there ultimate goal of the Nationals stage, with Rachel constantly reminding that of Blaine and Sebastian that they were to share nothing at all with that of their former show choir; both of which they promised they wouldn't.
The weekend of Sectionals; the New Directions weren't scheduled to perform to the Sunday, however the Warblers were this time allocated that of another grouping of show choirs to compete up against, and were therefore performing on the Saturday; and asked that of Blaine, Sebastian and Scott to come along to watch, and when finding out what the others were doing the day before even though he had made plans to go over to hang out with Mercedes before that, Kurt also decided to tag along and see what the former school he also once attended were doing, because he knew that if asked by Rachel, Sebastian or Blaine would not be able to be judgmental of them.
As they got to the auditorium where Sectionals were, they were heading down to that of some seats, when they heard a female voice talk.
"Hey you dork" said Jaime, going over to where Blaine was along with Kurt, Sebastian and Scott; and Blaine looked at her with a smile.
"Really dork" said Blaine with a laugh to that of the Crawford girl, who was also with that of another two girls from the school.
"I'm thinking more we should just call you Pee Wee" said a blonde Crawford girl with a smile and laugh. "Because that outfit is just wrong in so many ways there"
"Lovely to see you as well again Loz" replied Blaine, with a laugh and gave her a quick hug.
"So do the guys know that you're here checking out their performance?" asked the other girl, with a laugh. "Or have you not told them that?"
"Yeah they know Mere" said Blaine, looking to her with a nod and also going and quickly giving her a hug also, much to the displeased look of Kurt. "Nicky was adamant we'd come along and watch"
"Well it's going to be good that's for sure" replied Jaime with a smile. "And maybe just be prepared for some ass kicking when it comes time for that of Regionals"
"There can only be one winner at Regionals though" said Sebastian with a laugh.
"Yes, and you horrible person who defected along with our Blaine" said Lauren. "We hate you"
"Oh you don't mean that" said Sebastian, with a laugh.
"Hmm we'll see about that if our boys don't get through to Nationals" said Lauren, with a laugh.
"So no other annoying Crawford girl today?" asked Kurt with a laugh, looking to the three girls that were present. "Has she been grounded or something and not allowed to attend?"
"Mik you mean, I take it?" asked Meredith, looking to him and Kurt nodded. "She's around somewhere, she'll be here in a bit"
"Of course she will be" said Kurt, with a frown as the house lights in the auditorium started to dim and those in attendance began sitting in seats.
"Sit with us" said Blaine, looking to the Crawford girls.
"Of course we will" replied Jaime with a smile, as they all filed into that of a row a few back from the stage; in order of Sebastian, Scott, Kurt, Blaine, Jaime, Lauren and Meredith, and leaving an empty space on the end for Mikki when she got there.
"Why is there a piano up on stage?" asked Kurt in a whisper to Blaine next to him; and Blaine looked at him and shrugged his shoulders, as the stage went dark and then that of a small light came up to illuminate the piano; and they saw that what appeared to be a female walk over to it and then sit down at the stool.
"I thought the Warblers were first" said Sebastian, leaning over Kurt and Scott; and looking at Blaine.
"Yeah, that's what the program said" replied Blaine. "I am as clueless as you are about what is going on here"
"This is just something of an added bonus" said Jaime, next to Blaine. "The guys managed to convince the show choir organizers of letting them do"
"So you know what's going on here?" asked Blaine, looking to his friend; and she nodded as the person who was up on stage still not that of fully lit, started to play.
As the music started the light went up on the stage more, and it became more clear who it was sitting at the piano playing the song "Vienna"
Blaine gave a laugh, as Kurt frowned, and Scott and Sebastian looked to that of Blaine.
"That's Mikki" said Sebastian.
"Yeah" replied Blaine, looking at him with a laugh; as Mikki started to sing.
"Slow down, you crazy child
You're so ambitious for a juvenile
But then if you're so smart, then tell me
Why are you still so afraid?
Mmmhmm"
As she continued to play, Mikki turned still singing to that of the audience, and managed to catch the row where the others were sitting and gave them a smile.
"Where's the fire, what's the hurry about?
You'd better cool it off before you burn it out
You've got so much to do and
Only so many hours in a day, aye"
Looking across that of those who were friends and also most likely worst enemy also, Mikki looked and them all with a smile and then looked to Blaine as she sung the next line of the song.
"But you know that when the truth is told
That you can get what you want
Or you can just get old
You're gonna kick off before you even
Get halfway through, ooooooh
When will you realize, Vienna waits for you?"
Drawing her gaze away from that of Blaine who had a smile on his face as he watched her perform, she quickly looked to that of Kurt and saw that the look on his face was that of one that was definitely not a happy one; and she turned back towards the microphone that was connected to the piano, smiling to herself.
"Slow down, you're doing fine
You can't be everything you want to be
Before your time although
It's so romantic on the borderline tonight, tonight
Too bad but it's the life you lead
You're so ahead of yourself that you forgot what you need"
Mikki turned back to the audience and for a moment looked out into that of the auditorium before connecting with Blaine's eyes again briefly, before with a smile turned her head back to that of the microphone again.
"Though you can see when you're wrong, you know
You can't always see when you're right, you're right
You've got your passion, you've got your pride
But don't you know that only fools are satisfied?
Dream on, but don't imagine they'll all come true, oooh
When will you realize Vienna waits for yooou?"
Mikki played a quick break in among that of the singing and she could see that of the Warblers ready side of stage, to come out when she was finished performing; who were all giving her huge smiles.
"Slow down, you crazy child
And take the phone off the hook and disappear for awhile
It's all right, you can afford to lose a day or two, oooooh
When will you realize, Vienna waits for you?"
Mikki looked in to that of the audience, deciding not to make eye contact with that of Blaine as she got near the end of the song.
"And you know that when the truth is told
That you can get what you want
Or you can just get old
You're gonna kick off before you even get halfway through
Mmmhmmm
Why don't you realize, Vienna waits for you
When will you realize, Vienna waits for yooou"
Mikki finished playing the song, and those in the audience applauded as she put back on her high heeled shoes that she had taken off to play the piano feet more easily; and then grabbed the microphone that was attached to the mic stand on the piano and standing.
"Thank you everyone, welcome to the first day of competition for the 2011 Show Choir Sectionals" said Mikki, as some stage hands from the auditorium came on stage and wheeled the piano away. "I'm Mikayla Kapowski, and I attend Crawford County Day in Westerville; and even though we don't have a show choir as such that does perform at this level, I was honored that the Warblers asked me to come along and perform the opening number to kick off this show choir season"
There was more applause from that of the audience, including some very enthusiastic ones of the Crawford girls who were there, as well as Sebastian, Scott and Blaine; whilst Kurt looked at the girl upon stage with that of still a frown, only clapping of that in polite manner.
"So without further ado" said Mikki, with a smile to the audience and then over to where the Warblers were standing ready to come out. "Please welcome on to stage the Dalton Academy Warblers"
The Warblers walked out on to the stage, and Nick went over to Mikki; and gave her a quick hug.
"You slayed it, Fraggle" he said in a whisper to her and Mikki looked at him with a laugh.
"Now your turn" she replied. "Kick some arse"
Nick looked at her with a nod, and Mikki went to go downstairs into the auditorium; quickly handing her microphone to a stage hand as she went to go down the stairs.
Jaime gestured her to come and sit over with them, and herself, Meredith and Lauren quickly moved up one seat each to the vacant one at the end, so that Mikki was able to sit next to Blaine.
"You were amazing" said Blaine, as Mikki sat down next to him and he gave her a quick hug as best he could in that of the seats. "Can't believe you kept that from us"
"You know me excellent secret keeper" said Mikki, with a smile.
Blaine looked at her with a nod, his arm still around that of the back of Mikki's shoulder; and Kurt looked to him with a frown, not liking how comfortable his boyfriend was with of his female friend; as the Warblers started their two song set list for their performance, "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy" with that of Nick singing the lead vocal on it and the others backing him up.
Blaine and Sebastian both laughed watching the guys up on stage that they had both once gone to school with, seeing that they were having a lot of fun with the number; and Scott as well couldn't help but laugh as well seeing some of the guys that he had come to be friends with also as well, perform.
"So typical of them" said Blaine, with a laugh to Mikki, who looked to him and nodded her head.
"Yeah" replied Mikki with a quick laugh also, as Nick looked to her on stage whilst singing and winked.
"They're such dorks" said Sebastian, leaning more towards Kurt and Blaine; so they were able to hear.
"Oh they are" replied Blaine, with a laugh.
"Yes, but it's hardly a good song choice to win with now" said Kurt from where he was sitting.
"At least it's better than Candles" replied Mikki, quickly looking to him; and Kurt glared at her; whilst Blaine looked at her shaking his head.
The Warblers finished up on stage and took a bow and then went into that of a different formation for that of their next song, this time with Jeff taking the lead on "I Want You Back"
"They're doing Michael" said Kurt, looking to Blaine. "How is that even possible"
"Don't look at me" said Blaine, looking to him. "I didn't tell them"
"Me either or Scott" replied Sebastian.
"Well it can't be a coincidence now can it" said Kurt, looking at Blaine; who in turn was looking at the girl sitting next to him.
"Please tell me you didn't go and tell them" said Blaine, and Mikki looked at him with a smile. "So much for great secret keeper"
"Sorry, it just kind of slipped out in conversation with Nicky and Jeff" replied Mikki, with a smile. "You can't hate me for it, you love me too much"
"Kind of don't right now" said Blaine, and Mikki frowned at him; and Blaine gave a laugh. "I'm kidding, you know you're always my girl"
"Yeah" replied Mikki, with a laugh also; as it became obvious to them why the Warblers had chosen to do the Jackson 5 song, and that was because they were subtlety trying to lure back that of Blaine and Sebastian over to them.
"Not happening" mouthed Sebastian, up to Nick when he pointed to him, and Nick gave a frown; which made them all that were sitting, with the exception of Kurt laugh.
As the Warblers finished up that of the performance and took their bows and exited stage; Sebastian looked over to Blaine.
"They would have been so much better if we were there" said Sebastian, with a laugh to him.
"Oh of course, yeah" replied Blaine with a laugh as well. "And I know how they know about us doing Michael and that"
"How?" asked Scott.
"Blabbermouth mouse here" said Blaine, pointing to Mikki.
"Nick and Jeff were going to torture me" replied Mikki with a frown.
"Torture you, how?" asked Sebastian.
"Tie me up and make me eat marshmallows till I was sick" replied Mikki.
"So you just went and told them" said Kurt, looking to the girl next to his boyfriend, and then to Blaine. "Next time don't tell her stuff"
"Well as one who know what Nick and Jeff torture is like" said Blaine. "I can kind of see why she did tell them"
"Really, and what did they make you do?" asked Kurt, looking to him.
"Sixth grade" replied Blaine. "Made me eat a whole tub of Red Vines"
"Yeah like you were complaining about that one" said Mikki, with a laugh.
"Not that day no" replied Blaine, looking to her. "But the next day I was so sick, my mom thought I was puking up blood because it was all red"
"That's gross" said Scott.
"It was really gross" said Blaine, with a nod to him. "And I couldn't eat Red Vines for almost a year after without wanting to puke at the sight of them"
"Well clearly that didn't last long" said Mikki, with a laugh. "Because you're addicted to them again"
Blaine looked at her and nodded. "So whilst I am sure Mik is sorry for blabbing, I can understand why she did"
"Yes, I like marshmallows too much and didn't want to puke which I know I probably would have ended up doing" said Mikki as the stage went dark again, and the next show choir performing started; and to be polite of that of those on stage, they became quiet to continue their conversation later on.

After competition finished, and first place for that of the Saturday went to the Warblers; who were gloating in their success and had told that of the New Directions that had come to watch, they they better bring their 'A' game tomorrow, and they would be watching to make sure they did; they along with that of Blaine, Sebastian, Scott and Kurt, as well as the four girls from Crawford were sitting in a little 50's style diner that wasn't located to far from that of Dalton.
"This place is quaint" said Kurt, as he looked over the menu. "And full of fatty disgusting high in calorie food"
"Oh live a little Kurt" said Jeff, with a smile to him.
"Yeah they have the best fries here" said Nick.
"Screw the fries" said Mikki, with a laugh. "I'm having the double deluxe cheeseburger, double the patties, double the cheese and double the ketchup"
"Do you know how many calories are in that" said Kurt, looking to her.
"See me not caring" replied Mikki, looking at him also. "It's not like I eat that every day"
"And really if you're that concerned Kurt about the so called calories and not being able to fit in to those skinny jeans that you insist on wearing that aren't at all flattering" said Lauren. "You can always have a salad, just as long as you don't mind the rest of us eating like normal human beings"
"Meow Lozza" said Meredith with a laugh.
"Hmm, maybe I'll have a cheeseburger" said Kurt, looking to that of Lauren with a smile.
"Ohh daredevil you" she replied with a laugh, as Kurt glared at her and then looked around the diner, snapping his fingers trying to get service.
"I really wish you wouldn't do that Kurt" said Blaine, looking to him. "It's really rude"
"Well how else am I meant to get them to know we're ready to order?" he asked, looking to Blaine.
"You wait, for them to come by and stop them then" replied Sebastian. "It's actually considered highly rude to snap your fingers at the wait staff"
"Well got one to come over didn't I" said Kurt, with a smile and a waitress who was dressed in that of a 1950's poodle skirt and twin set, approached.
"Hey there you groovy groovesters" she said, with a smile. "What can I get you all"
"So we'll just go round the table" said Nick.
"Sure handsome, order away" replied the waitress, and once she had gotten the orders for all of them; left that of the Warblers, New Directions and Crawford girls to talk some more before their food came, and once they had all eaten went that of their separate ways, vowing that they would see one another again tomorrow.
End Note: As said that chapter is mostly that of filler, and since we all know that the New Directions also win that of Sectionals, I'm not going to go into depths of writing that.
However there is something about this chapter, that is setting that up of future events; and let me know in review or PM if you have any idea what it could be - and the song version of Vienna I hear in my mind here, is that of the one by Ariana Grande, easily found on YouTube, if you want to take a listen to it and then re read that part of the story.
Next chapter, is still a work in progress; as I am having to google that of some law stuff and well that's totally fun - NOT! I have studied legal studies in college, but never actually went through with going and getting that of a law degree, instead choosing that of an English degree (keeping in mind I am Australian, so our law differs greatly of the American system) And really fat lot of good English degree has done me in the long run - unless you count my writing fanfiction as being good use of it. I do vow though one day I am going to publish some how the many original stories that I have on my computer, it's just working up the courage to do so as me.
