Summary:

A/U: Lucy Hearfillia one of the most highly esteemed angels in the heavens. Gray Fullbuster the underworld's best has been sent on a mission to deceive the archangel. The problem is they slowly somehow fall in love with each other during the process. They can't be together. Their is a prophecy that states the result of an angel and demon's love would bring about the end of their world or save it or bring it to a new dawn, but it's too risky if it's in the wrong hands. They must choose the world or their love. Will the prophecy come true? GrayLu Rated T.

3 months later...

"Lucy-sama your food is here." Mirajane walked into Lucy's room with a silver platter.

"Thank you Mirajane please leave it over there." Lucy sat at her bed working on the blue flame she had started a few months prior. Her stomach was in it's third trimester (sorry don't know much about pregnancy) She was going to give birth any minute.

"Lucy-sama, Romeo-kun is here as well he wanted to know how you were doing." Mirajane stepped to the side revealing Romeo behind her.

"Hello Lucy-sama." Romeo bowed and smiled.

"Um..." Lucy looked down worriedly. "H-how... How is Gray?..." She asked nervously.

"It's alright Lucy-sama he is... fine. He's a little beaten up but he should be fine. But," Romeo looked around the room to see if someone was sneaking about them. "He wanted me to give you this." Romeo placed something in Lucy's hand. "I completely trust Gray-sempai just as much as Natsu-sempai. But, Gray-sempai is smarter than you think."

"He only wanted to use me." Lucy put her hands down and the blue flame she was working on disappeared. "I don't think I can ever trust a demon like him ever again."

"But what about us Lucy-sama?" Romeo asked.

"I said like him not like you Romeo-kun. You both have been so kind to me. I've seen how the others maids scorn at me. You've both lost your precious people to this underworld." Lucy patted Romeo's head. "Hey maybe once i'm out I can ask the high council to help you go through something to the heavens. With enough spells and work it can be possible." Lucy smiled.

"Really?" Romeo's face lit up. "Well if we can get my child to the heavens and use her powers to restore balance of course we can!"

"Her?" Mirajane asked.

"Yup it's going to be a girl I just know it!" Lucy smiled.

They all laughed together." Alright Lucy-sama me and Romeo-kun will see you later." Mirajane waved.

Lucy waved back. She looked in her hand at the thing Romeo put in her hand. In her hand was a silver ring with her name engraved in it. There was a small light blue diamond that shone perfectly. She put her hand to her mouth as she felt the tears swell in her eyes. "No... I told myself to forget about him. I wil not revert back to my selfish human ways. Tears fell from her face. "But... It won't hurt to try it on." She put it on her ring finger and looked at it. "It's beautiful." She smiled and saw the diamond shine. "What?" A full-body hologram came up from the diamond. "Gray?!"

"Hey Luce. If you're getting this it must be soon for our child to be born. And I wanted to say i'm sorry for my action and it took me so long to say so. If Romeo just gave it to you hopefully like instructed he gave to you the day after I finished it. It's very hard to do something like this in secret. The things I said was so they wouldn't blow my cover for my true feelings but after seeing you like that I couldn't bear it." Gray paused. "I'm coming for you when the moment is right. I will come for you and our child. I love you Lucy. Please remember that. I hope you aren't sad anymore. Please there is hope. I hope Mirajane and Romeo are treating you well. Just wait for the right moment my love."

The hologram disappeared. "GRAY NO!" Lucy reached her hand out to where the hologram was. "Gray..." She smiled and looked up." I'll wait for you. I feel funny... Mira!"

Mirajane came rushing in."What is it Lucy-sama?!"

"I-i... I think my water broke..."

"Ugh..." Gray held his bruised stomach. He had been beaten and tortured just about everyday for the past 3 months. Several of his ribs had been broken, his face was badly bruised, their was a huge gash on his side form Jellal it was healing due to his demon powers, and scratches and bruises everywhere. Gray rubbed his aching neck. Then Gray overheard one of the guards.

"Hey did you hear? That slut of an angel is going to give birth today!"

"Really? I wonder what we'll do with the angel after." One of the guards smirked pervertedly.

Gray banged on the bars of his cell." Don't you dare talk about her like that!"

"Oh that's right you're the one in love with her." The guard smiled evilly.

"Once they're done with her she's going to be my bitch and you can watch!" The guard laughed.

Gray grabbed the guards collar through the bars and slammed his face into the bars. Gray glared at the guard."Say one more thing and i'll kill you."

"Not like you can get out you brat. I just can't wait to put my hands on her-"

Gray's eyes started to glow red. "You're going to regret that." His canine teeth got longer, his arms started to show weird black marks, his hands emitted a black glow, and his wings started to sprout from his back.

"Help! Someo-" Gray snapped the guards neck before he could finish his sentence.

"I did say i'd kill you." More guards started to come and charge after Gray. Gray slapped them away as if they were nothing. "I knew I said i'd wait for Loke but he's taking too damn long. Gray took out a orb and looked into it. "Loke!"

The orb started to show a hologram of Loke's face. "We're awaiting you're signal. We are currently above the entrance."

"Alright i'm going to cast a spell that should let you a good few in how many people are with you?"

"Eleven." Loke replied.

"What? Why only eleven others?" Gray asked.

"Oh believe me they're worth it."

"Fine then. Just wait till you see a portal open that should grant you a safe passage through."

"Alright thanks." Loke gave Gray an assuring look. "We'll get her."

"Yeah." Gray flew quickly threw the stairs and corridors of the castle. "I'll find you Luce. I'll find you I promise."

"AAAAAAGH!" Lucy's screams echoed the room.

"Breathe Lucy-sama. Breathe. It's coming out."

"AAARRGHH! IT HURTS!" Lucy was drenched in sweat.

"You're doing good breathe Lucy breathe." Mirajane said calmly.

"It's... It's a girl! Wait... Lucy push!" Mirajane handed the girl to one of the helping maids.

"Mira-onee chan she's beautiful." The maid said as she checked the baby.

"AAAAAGHHH!" Lucy used all her strength to push. She panted heavily. "W-what is it?" She asked weakly.

"It's a boy. You have twins Lucy." Mirajane smiled.

"T-twins?... But the prophecy said... one..." Lucy stuttered. "Let me see my children..." Mirajane passed the twins to Lucy. They both had dark raven hair like Gray's and Lucy's hazel eyes. "They're beautiful" she said weakly. She hugged them closely. She noticed something black on their back. "What is this?" She opened up the blankets slightly and gasped. "Their wings. Their black... They resemble a fallen angel but... The wings of a fallen are gray not black..." She'll caressed their heads and began to cry. "My two beautiful children... They'll be taken away from me..." She held them closer and looked up at Mira. "I don't want them to take them!" She sobbed loudly. She heard the door open and assumed it was Jellal. She held them close to her chest. "You can't have them! They're my children!" Her wings surrounded her to try and block out Jelllal.

Lucy felt a hand touch her head. It didn't feel like Jellal's cold presence. "So what i'm not allowed to see my children? I heard I had twins."

Lucy looked up to see Gray's smile. "Gray!" Her tears fell from her face.

Gray put his forehead on Lucy's and smiled. "Sorry it took so long I had to preserve all my energy. I haven't taken this form in awhile." Gray's face had blood splattered on his face, clothes, and a little on his hands. Lucy noticed the strange markings on his arm.

"What's this?" Lucy touched his arm.

" It shows the extent of my power these markings. The more you have the more powerful you are. Only on your arms though. And if I check now. May I see my children?" Lucy showed the two to Gray. Gray slowly took out their arms and touched them with his finger. The same strange markings started to appear on the girl's right arm and the boy's left."I knew it." Their wings and arm markings are proof they are the children of the prophecy. "I'm sorry but we need to leave now. We can't let them get either of them." Gray grabbed Lucy and put her bridal style. "Now hold my children tightly. Loke's right outside waiting to see you."

Lucy smiled. "Thank you."

"Your welcome ojou." Loke stepped out form the outside and into the room. "Your children look beautiful ojou." Loke smiled.

Lucy wiped her tears. "Thank you so much."

"Loke let's go how are the others?"

"They've already beat most of the guards and returned their time limit was up."

"Damn. Why do they have a time limit?" Gray asked.

"It's so the higher ups don't notice us. They've been searching the country probably the world for you Ojou-sama. They're looking for your children. I swear on my life i'll protect them and you ojou." Loke kneeled to Lucy.

"Thank you Loke." Lucy smiled.

"Now let's go Loke hold one of my children." Loke grabbed the boy from Lucy. "We're getting out of here."
