First things first. I want to apologize to everyone about the chapter being SUPER late. I had an extreme case of writers block, so it made me feel unmotivated about writing. I just want to say I'm sorry to all of my readers, and anyone who liked my stories. I know it's been a long while since I've written, and I hope that this will never happen again. I thank everyone for the reviews and liking my story. Please keep reading and giving me your feedback. I've also now gotten myself a new job. It's taking a lot of time up, so again sorry for not upding in so long.

Now onto the chapter.

Chapter 10: Confrontation.

Yang woke up the next morning and looked beside him. He couldn't believe his eyes and what laid there. He shook his head to get rid of the sleepiness and took a second glance. There laying beside him was his mate Ki, and this made Yang ecstatic. He hadn't seen her in a long time, because he thought something had happen to her, so he would never see her again.

Ki soon woke up, and felt like someone was watching her. She looked over to the left, and noticed that Yang was awake. She looked up at him, and saw that there was a big smile on his face. She just smiled back as they both laid there looking at each other.

Yang was the first one to break the silence and said, "Ki I thought I would never see you again" as he moved his body closer to hers.

"Yeah I thought I wouldn't see you again either," Ki said as tears started forming in her eyes.

Yang just smiled at her and licked her on the face and nuzzled into her saying, "I love you very much."

"I love you as well," Ki replied, she then took a deep breath and said,"Yang there is something that I must tell you. It's very important."

"What is is my love?" Yang asked with a confused look on his face.

Ki just gulped and replied with, "I'm pregnant with eggs."

Yang was taking aback. He wasn't ready to hear that, but then he asked "Who's are they?"

Ki just smiled and laughed. She then said, "Whose do you think silly. They're ours."

"You mean I'm going to be a father?" Yang replied with a look of shock on his face.

Ki just smiled at him and nodded. She then watched and Yang's face lit up with the excitement of knowing that he was going to be a father.

"How many eggs do you have in your belly?"

"I'm not quite sure yet. They are still developing, and might it might be a while till I really know," replied Ki.

"Well that is really good news" Yang said, as he moved his paw to rub Ki's belly. Ki just smiled, and she felt Yang's paw touch her. She was so happy that she was reunited with him, and was happy that he was happy. She just laid her head down on the floor and just let him do what he wanted; however, this didn't last long because before Ki knew it, Spyro and Cynder walked up. Ki noticed them and pulled back from Yang.

"What's the matter?" asked Yang, as he felt her back away from him.

"Hello son. We need to talk," Spyro said.

Yang just looked up at his father and shook his head. He then stood up and faced his parents.

"About what?" Yang asked

"You will see. Now follow us," Spyro said as he and Cynder started walking towards a room that no one ever uses. Yang and Ki just followed them. It wasn't long before they entered the room and Spyro closed the door behind them. He then turned around and Yang could see that he had a crossed and disappointment look on his face.

"Why in the world did you mate with Inu's daughter and get her pregnant? Do you know how much trouble you have brought upon yourselves?"

"Why what harm as it done?" Yang asked.

WHAT HARM! This is Inu's daughter the person that is trying to kill me and your mother. Not to mention you put Ki's life in danger. She is to young to be having eggs and could kill her when she lays them."

" Mother wasn't much older when she had us, and everything turned out fine, Yang replied back.

"No it wasn't fine. Your mother had a terrible time laying her eggs, and there was a moment where we didn't know If she was going to be able to," Spyro said. Cynder just hung back and listen to his words. She then shuddered when she heard the last of Spyro's sentence. She still remembered that time, and she didn't want to bring that memory back up.

Ki interjected with." It wasn't Yang who wanted them. It was me who asked him to mate."

"Why, so your father could get mad at us? To put your life in danger? To make my son a father when he's not ready to be one? Uh is that the reason?" Spyro snapped coldly at her.

Tears started forming in Ki's eyes and she choked backed her tears. She then replied," No that isn't it. "

THEN WHY?" Spyro yelled at her still mad.

"Because I love him" replied Ki as her tears ran down her face and onto the ground," And I want to spend the rest of my life with him, as his mate. Ki then turned around and opened the door, and left the room; slamming the door behind her.

"Great work dad. Now you've done it. I hope you are happy with yourself, " and with saying that Yang rushed out the door behind Ki.

"What's gotten into them?" asked Spyro.

Cynder just looked at him and slapped him in the back of his head with her tail. She then said, "You know nothing about females do you?"

"What do you mean by that Cynder?"

"I mean. You remember the time I was pregnant with our kids, and how conforting you were to me?"

"Yes, but that time was different."

Cynder just shook her head, and sighed, "No Spyro. It wasn't different from what's going on now."

"You were older than them though, and remember how hard it was for you to lay eggs. Think about what may happen to them if something goes wrong."

"I have Spyro and that is why I'll be there to help them."

"There is still no guarantee that nothing bad will happen."

"Yes. There is though a better chance of everything going right through," Cynder said.

"But," was all Spyro could get out before Cynder just shook her head and walked out the door after Ki and Yang. Leaving Spyro standing there trying to figure out what was going on.

"Wait up Ki," Yang yelled after her, as he chased her. He watched as she ran into an empty room and closed the door. Yang stood outside the door and just stared at it for a few minutes before knocking on it.

"What do you want?" Ki yelled back on the other side of the door.

"It's me. Yang," Yang replied.

Ki opened the door, and looked up at Yang. Tears were still flowing down her face as she nuzzled into his chest and said in between sobs. "I can't believe your father doesn't like me."

"It's not that he doesn't like you. He's just scared for you," came a familiar voice from behind Yang. He turned around and noticed Cynder walking up towards him.

"What do you want mom? Came to scold us too?"

Cynder just shook her head and smiled, "No son. I'm here to tell you how proud I am of you. Even though you're still young. You have grown so much."

Yang looked at her confused and asked, "So you're not mad that I got her pregnant?"

"No. In fact I'm want to congratulate you on becoming a father when the eggs arrive," Cynder then turned to Ki and asked, "So how many eggs is it?"

"I'm not sure yet. They are still forming."

"I see," replied Cynder.

Meanwhile Spyro was left by himself to think about what had just happened. His son was mad at him, and now his mate was too. He was trying to think about why that was, when what Cynder said struck him like a ton of bricks. He didn't take into the consideration of Yang's and Ki's feeling. He just went off on them. This made Spyro feel terrible about himself, and made him come to the relation that he needed to make this right. He left the room, and went to find Cynder and the others.

It didn't take long for Spyro to find them, as he stood back and watch Cynder talk with them. She had a smile on her face, and it took Spyro back to when he first found out he would be a father. Now his son was going to become one, and he needed to be more supportive of him.

As Spyro drew nearer Yang got him out of the corner of his eye and called to him, "What do you want?"

Spyro just kept looking at him, and as he stopped by Cynder he replied, "I wanted to congratulate you, and say I'm sorry for what I said. I should have been happy for you, instead of jumping on you and Ki like that."

Yang just looked at him with a quizzical look, and Ki just stood back and waited. Yang then said, "Do you really mean that?"

"I do," replied Spyro.

Cynder just looked up and him and smiled. She noticed the change is his attitude, and was happy that he was able to change his mind.

Yang just kept looking at him, and finally said, "Thank you father. I know it's going to be rough, but I will be there always for Ki. Nothing bad is going to happen to her and the eggs while I'm around."

Ki perked up when she heard that and walked over to Yang and licked him on the side of the cheek. She then sat down beside him, and just looked at Spryo and Cynder.

Spyro let out a laugh and said, "That's right son," as Cynder just sat there and kept smiling.

"Now let's head back to the main room. We need to tell everyone the good news," Spyro said.

"Let's go then," Ki said as she wiped the tears from her eyes, and started walking back with Yang and Cynder. Spyro just stood there and smiled at them, until he was suddenly hit with a feeling of dread. He looked around to try and find out what had happened, but couldn't figure it out. He shook his head and walked back towards the main room. Hoping whatever he just felt wasn't something bad.
