If any confusion in the last chapter about Mikaki. He is just Hikaku's close cousin. Never mentioned before because Mikaki isn't important to the story but he is there for Hikaku's character.
Thanks so much for the reviews for the last chapter, I enjoyed reading all of them!
Warning! This chapter contains gore! Major character death as well. You have been warned
I'm sorry for incorrect punctuation and spelling.
Would anyone like to Beta my work. I've been slacking off with re-reading the chapters and fixing those mistakes.
Chapter 10 of Harakiri.
...
Sebastian had ushered both the Senju brothers both outside allowing Hikaku and Mikaki their privacy for a comfortable reuniting. Hashirama had left for the courtyard and Tobirama not dared follow him any further slinking around the dark gates of the entry. Tajima sighed, his eyes watched the two humans in his garden from the tower window. He felt a need to keep the two in watch, not so much as Hashirama but the other one was unknown. Sebastian stood beside him, fixing up the stack of wax candles, scrapping off the dried up wax from the wooden table. The room was tidy, untouched for many weeks since Madara's disappearance, Sebastian continually cleaning the bedroom for Madara's return.
"The sun shall rise soon. Once the day passes we march upon the humans holding my son captive" Tajima curtly explained.
"And what of Hashirama and the younger brother" Sebastian asked, flicking off the white wax.
"They are to lead us into the facility and from that point forward I care not"
"Of course. I will contact Takimaru and we will continue to try and reach Valentine"
Tajima barely responded with a nod, the feeling all too familiar haunting him once again.
(Time period - Not long after Izuna's death, before the Senju hunter's attack and before moving to Konoha after their house was burnt down. Events are happening in said mansion)
After the death of Izuna, the Uchiha family had fallen into the void of depression; the royal members more affected than others though the lost of yet another child terrified the entire family. Karina had left to her chambers and skipped dinner quite frequently and Tajima had grown worried. The death of their two other sons happened more than a decade ago and it had been a miracle that Karina had been able to birth two more sons to Tajima but with the seemingly curse over their heads they had just lost the youngest boy Izuna to a fervent disease. Vampire children, one of the most valuable gifts one could ever receive had been the most difficult to raise to adulthood. The unpredictable nature and practically one to zero immune system, vampire babes never made it past childhood. Madara was their third and only living child.
Tajima had passed a few vampires scouring the villa in anguish. With Karina left to herself in the confinements of their room, Tajima left to manage affairs that he had ignored for quite some time. A decree from the Elders demanding for a new child to be born and with the recent loss of Izuna the Elders had become quite frustrated with the results. It was rumored that Tajima's dynasty would collapse and a new one would take place.
A sudden scream that was followed by panicked shouts afterwards alerted Tajima who frantically looked up from his desk. Ignoring the scattered letters and ink, he stood up listening to the commotion. It was less than a moment, his loyal butler arrived at his doorstep, seeking entry looking worried.
"What is it?" he asked anxiously suspecting the threat of humans or even worse, hunters.
"Tiye had taken Madara into the woods." Sebastian explained, the sentence rather broad but Tajima raced forward in fear.
"Take me there"
Sebastian led Tajima through the villa, other Uchiha's looking worried by the commotion knowing something to be wrong. They had ran into the courtyard that was open and wide, the dark sky looming overhead and the moon shining brightly to the vampires. Tajima caught sight of Tiye and a few other vampires with her.
"What happened to Madara?!" he demanded, unable to hold back his rage.
"I was walking him and he had left my side for a moment and before I realized he had fallen into the river. We chased him down the river till he got a hold of a rock. Hikaku and the other's are with him now" Tiye cried, staining her scarf in tears. Enough was said and Tiye led them into the North forest sprinting to inhuman speeds before the sound of voices were heard. Tajima raced into the clearing and Hikaku and two other male vampires stood close to the banks of the gushing water and his eyes fell upon Madara, who clung onto a protruding rock, looking exhausted and tired almost unable to hold any longer. Hikaku and the other's were calling out to Madara trying to reach out to him but the distance was too great.
Tajima had almost pounced into the water but Sebastian had forced him to a stop.
"Lord, you can't rush into the water. You'll only drown yourself and Madara"
"I must get to him" he hissed, pushing Sebastian rather violently out of the way. Hikaku noticed him and quickly waved out.
"I can't get his attention" Hikaku almost sobbed but Tajima forced his way between the vampires to the edge of the river.
"Madara!" Tajima called. It only took one call before Madara's head jerked up and realized his father was there. The look that crossed his face made his heard shatter and Madara had tried to move against the water, his arms slipping against the rocks. Tajima stepped forward in shock and dread. "Madara! Don't move" he pleaded. His pale, small arms looked ready to break free and that would be the end.
Madara's red eyes stared at him for guidance and in fear. His hair was wet-patted down and his clothes soaked. The heavy layers of winter clothing must of been weighing him down as the material sucked up the liquid. He could hear Tiye sobbing and the others continually calling out for him in panic.
Tajima moved closer, taking a step into the shallow section where the current immediately fought against him. He walked into the water deeper till knee length, almost toppling over but managing to hold still. He had to keep warning Madara to stay put who was almost about to cry, trying to warm his son with beckoning words. He kept going forward slowly until he noticed the boulder Madara was clinging to was almost about to give way, shifting in the water threateningly. There was a tense silence and before he was in arms length of his boy, the rock shifted and everybody screamed. Madara went under... Tajima jumped...
Being sucked into the water was like being stuck into a deadly rollercoaster. He had been split open by rocks and sharp litter but he hardly registered, allowing the current to take him until he had grabbed Madara. He felt Madara's small arm in his hand and he immediately pulled Madara into his chest and forcing to get them out of the water. He had made it to the surface and forced Madara's head up so he could breathe but unable to keep the position before they were dragged back under. He could faintly hear the cries of the other vampires as they ran down the side of the river.
It had been one of those moments, where his heard had stopped and the same fear he felt with his deceased sons. Madara's smaller body almost was pulled from his grasps by the greedy hands of the currents. He was able to force himself to the surface again and pulled Madara's head above the water again. He noticed Sebastian's running figure trying to reach out for them, Hikaku and the others screaming.
He managed to take a hold of a boulder with one arm, holding Madara desperately into his chest feeling the young body frozen and cold. Within a moment, Sebastian was by the river's edge reaching out and by chance he had managed to push himself towards the edge and grasp Sebastian's offered palm with earnest who struggled to pull him from the river's cold grasp. With the help of Hikaku and the others they were able to pull Tajima to safe ground who was grasping at Madara's pale body. Madara was unmoving and Sebastian's eyes looked down at the babe. There was no way he could have survived. The young vampire was frozen and Tajima recovered slowly before dropping Madara to the floor and towering over him. Madara's face was calm in deep sleep and he thought for the worst.
Sebastian felt himself sadden. To have lost another child, and Madara who seemed so promising. He felt for the young child's nature having spent so much time with Madara beforehand. The look on Tajima's face was heart breaking. Tajima leant down, shaking in his emotions, embracing the limp body. Sebastian's eyes closed knowingly. 'Another funeral'
"He is alive!" came Tajima's small whisper before he repeated himself louder. Sebastian's eyes snapped open. "He is alive!"
He took a moment to process. Madara was alive?!
"We must get him back. Take his clothes off, he will get sick. Hikaku, alert the home of Madara's situation" Sebastian ordered. He knelt down to remove Madara's heavy and wet clothing for Tajima was trapped in a trance. He took off the thick coat, white blouse and dark jeans, ripping off his tiny leather shoes and socks. Madara's skin was colder than it had ever been before. If Madara caught a cold, it might prove deadly and never wake from his sleep. Tajima wished to hold his son but his own clothes were cold and wet, watching in jealousy as Sebastian scooped up his almost naked boy and wrapped him close to his own body, coat protecting Madara from the cold winds.
After that, it was almost a blur. They had rushed home, Karina almost had a heart attack as she saw her son's predicament. They worked in warming him up and Tajima scrubbed Madara's body with a warm cloth to remove dirt and warm up the pale skin. Madara was bedridden for three days but he woke from his slumber notherless. Once Madara's red eyes revealed themselves, the house was covered in relief.
Madara was alive.
He remembered clearly. Madara waking up, red eyes glancing at him tiredly before a smile came to Madara's face, his smaller arms reaching out begging for an embrace.
Sebastian left Madara's room to leave Tajima to himself. He was still clearly affected by his child's disappearance and nothing will return him the same unless Madara was in his grasp again. Sebastian was determined to reunite the Uchiha family once again. He had left and easily got a hold of the Hyuuga clan leader, a loyal friend of the Uchiha, he had agreed immediately to the plan that would take place the following night and Valentine sadly was unable to be contacted. Tajima had suggested that Lawrence had some involvement in this matter and there was no such thing they could do about it.
Sebastian had invited Hashirama and the albino back inside and informed the two of the situation and Hashirama seemed please but this new figure was unreadable. He had no major concerns with Hashirama's brother but the younger man kept us his guard. Hikaku was to stay behind to rest, obviously unable to make the mission. Once Sebastian had left, Hashirama slunk down onto the wooden chair, a candle glowing brightly beside him, his tanned skin painted in shades of brown and orange from the candle light. Tobirama considered giving Hashirama what he wanted; his silence but he found himself approaching his older brother silently, the Senju made no recognition of his presence.
"Hashirama..." he tried softly. There was no reply as he expected but he continued forth ward. "Please accept my deepest apology."
"Brother, I cannot"
"I understand. I have betrayed your trust but I am willing to do everything in my power to fix this. I will fight against father."
Hashirama looked up at his younger brother. Tobirama had a stern expression but the slight crease in his brow gave away his desperation and guilt he felt. He looked away again, eyes casting down to the planked floors, unable to find his words. What was the point?
...
Madara slumped to the floor, body experiencing piercing pain in each of his limbs, some far more worse than the others. Blood leaked like a tap from his bruising lips from the cold pink-white gums where his fangs were ripped out again. His wrist were aching from the pressure of the steel handcuffs that kept him bound to the floor like some criminal. The cold had never bothered him before until this moment, his pants where discarded somewhere across the room and the only thing that offered him some decency was the long sleeve shirt, that was pale white with stains of red littering the white cotton; the shirt was no more than simple rags. He was to occupied to use his voice, the pain in his throat and gums too immense, occasionally having to spit out blood before he choked on it, red tears streaming down his face shamefully; a reaction he was impossible to stop as his face flushed. A cool liquid dripped down his inner thigh leaving a terribly itching sensation he was unable to brush away. It was impossible to tell whether it was seed or blood that crawled down his milky thighs but his thoughts lingered only on the aching pain.
Soft murmurs where heard from behind him but he wasn't paying attention to the words as Hideki fixed up his own casual clothing as if nothing had happened.
Hideki's frown casted downwards despite his comfortable and smug attitude watching Madara retreat on the floor once the deed was done. After the young vampire had been beaten, teeth removed and taken by force, Hideki felt content, not only from the sated feelings in his bones from his recent release. There was the issue of Madara bleeding out on the floor and he soon would allow his doctors to attend to the injuries once again. Once the necessary amount of blood was back in the vampire they could start this practice again until Madara called out for his father.
A small seed of doubt was planted into the back of his mind. If Madara was the young son of Tajima he would call out for help begging for his father to save him but there were no signs. If he was to break he would have done so already. There was no way they could have napped the wrong vampire, could they?
After fixing his jeans he gave the vampire one last glance before leaving him chained to the floor and left the large cell.
...
Night fell much quicker than anyone had anticipated and only Tajima had been properly prepared. Sebastian's noticed the other vampire's growing nervous and anxious for the upcoming events yet he dared not bring up the issue to Tajima. It was growing close to midnight and Tajima had ordered it time to leave, appointing Hashirama and Tobirama to led them to the place. Hikaku had been forced to stay back at the mansion along with the women, unable to participate in the fight.
Leaving Konoha on the back roads, Tajima refused to walk by Hashirama and the albino slinking back a few meters and Sebastian rightfully stuck by his leader's side. The rest of the Uchiha stayed at the gates of Konoha to greet the Hyuuga who were on their way to the fire country. The two families would meet in Konoha and follow their scent before declaring war on the organization that held Madara captive. With the help of Hashirama and Tobirama, they would head out first in a attempt to sneak in undetected and Takimaru was left to lead the two families into the front yard of the Extermination corps.
Tajima was going to make them pay.
They had travelled far from Konoha, the path that they took included no interruptions and they were hidden from the sights of humans but the track was a lot longer. Tajima looked up seeing the two Senju brother's come to a stop and allowed Tajima and his butler to catch up. The night was still a rich black, stars dancing brightly and Hashirama turned to them looking concerned.
"Where they are holding Madara, the facility is just up ahead." Hashirama explained and Tobirama slunk back behind Hashirama but in ears reach. Sebastian nodded and turned to Tajima for the next move, Tajima gave them a brief look.
"I want you two to create a diversion from the front. We'll take the entrance that Hikaku spoke of" Tajima ordered and Tobirama's head snapped at him quickly.
"You want us to waltz up and knock on the front door?" Tobirama barked, outraged by the idea.
"Precisely"
"For us to show up unexpectedly and then later a vampire attack happens. They will be sure to kill us"
"Tobirama!" Hashirama warned deeply giving his younger brother a dark glare before turning to Tajima with determined eyes. "We will do whatever it takes"
Tajima's deep red eyes meet with his, softening slightly before a small smile crept over his face that only Sebastian noticed.
...
Tobirama had protested lightly but Hashirama took no notice of it ignoring his attempts but Tobirama followed him anyway. The hunters had immediately allowed him entrance and alerted Butsuma who had come down to greet them. Their father had escorted them inside and Hashirama glared at the back of his father's head. He despised him.
"Why have you come back Hashirama?"
"I want to see Madara"
With that, Butsuma froze in his tracks tensing angrily before spinning around and charging at Hashirama. It was almost expected, a sudden flash back of his childhood hit him hard as Butsuma's fist collided with his cheek, knocking him back a few step causing a trail of blood to trickle down his lips.
"You insolent boy! You should be grateful. With the crime you had committed you are lucky to earn your freedom and now you come in demanding of me!" He roared and Hashirama all but glared at his father. "If that is the only reason for you return, I bid you to leave immediately."
"Sir! Sir!" came the frantic voice from the corridor hall. Butsuma turned to look in the direction and Hashirama gave Tobirama a knowing look. The figure appeared of a hunter running towards them. "There has been a breach"
The words came with a harsh dread that had pierced them all. Butsuma's expression was like none ever seen before as he turned to look at the both of them with a dreadful glare. He had no time to express his anger but quickly ran off with the hunter to search for the intruders.
"We have done our job here, we must leave before he returns. Father will no doubt punish us severely." The consequences did not look good and Tobirama had never gone against his father and he did not want to witness the mighty wrath that Hashirama was so used to coping.
"No we must help them" Hashirama insisted, ready to up and leave Tobirama completely. He looked troubled but the convinced look crossed his face and Tobirama sighed deeply.
"This way"
...
It was difficult to recognize any of the halls, white painted everywhere and Tajima swore he was taking the same turns until he caught a familiar scent. Sebastian seemed to have caught up and sped up alongside him. The scent was rich but old but it was the closest sign that allowed him to feel his son somewhat back in his arms. The Uchiha and Hyuuga warriors were to arrive an hour later to assist them and hopefully by then, he would have Madara and would make an easy exit. He left his revenge to his family, no doubt they would achieve it for him so that he could take his young boy to safety. To have Madara back with him once more. His desire burned like an eternal fire.
Sebastian pulled him to a stop and he realized the confusion. He took a look at the two halls presented to him and Sebastian gave him a sore glare. The scent they had been chasing after split into two heading down both hallways and Tajima was unsure which scent was more promising. Time was not on their side and words had not been passed when the two separated, Tajima taking the left corridor and continued his search for Madara. The humans had been aware of their presence, loud sirens alerting everyone of the present danger.
The hallway he had chosen had been on impulse and pumping adrenalin. He continued through the hall and noticed the large open doors at the end, a blinding light inside it. No time was wasted and he charged through the door, his red eyes squinting from the light's intensity.
Tajima came to a halt, covering his eyes slightly as the light almost blinded him allowing his eyes to adjust slowly. Madara's scent was much thicker and he noticed a figure clumped on the floor, eyes slowly materializing the figure. Madara's clump of dark hair was spotted and he raced to the fallen figure.
"Madara!"
He raced to Madara's side, grasping Madara's face and lifting him to stare at his bruised face. Madara's eyes were dazed, almost unseeing as he was falling into a sleep either from exhaustion or something else he couldn't comprehend. Madara's lip was spilt and dark underbags under his eyes. He wore a long shirt and his pale legs were exposed. His heart was frozen. He forced Madara's face in his direction trying to catch his attention
"Madara, please look at me son" he pleaded. His voice cracked under the emotions he was feeling. He was getting crushed by the pressure and once Madara's eyes flew on him, they widened.
"Father!" Madara cried.
His arms immediately moved to reach up but they were held down by metal chains and Tajima finally noticed them. He tugged the metal chains hard and desperately trying to free Madara but Madara cried out at the pain and he retreated. He moved down to his son, embracing him sadly.
"I'm so sorry. I couldn't protect you!" Tajima groaned, holding Madara tightly. He felt Madara's face in his neck before the sensation of hot tears against him and he pulled back. Red streams begun to pour down his face and he moved to brush them away. "Please forgive me"
"None of this is your fault" Madara fought back. He felt Tajima's arms around him tighten. Tajima caught Madara's face, noticing a strange look on his son's face as he spoke. His two canines were missing; obviously pulled out to keep him in submission. He felt a pain inside him, tearing apart his heart. A loud thud sounded throughout the large cell and Tajima looked to see the door clunk behind him, trapping the two of them inside. Tajima perked up, his eyes narrowing in anger. The ones who were hurting Madara must be close.
"Ohoho, what a pleasant surprise to see you, Tajima" came a voice but the person was nowhere in the room. The solid glass wall behind them lightened and a man stood behind the glass with a triumphant smirk. "Looks like you didn't abandon Madara... completely"
Tajima rose eyes glaring at the mere human who stood behind a protective wall, spewing tough nonsense.
"Who are you?" Tajima asked after composing himself. The powerful might of Tajima increased and he could feel anger seeping out like heat. He stood in front of Madara protectively but Hideki's laughed. The damaged had already been done and by himself no less. Hideki's eyes moved down to look at Madara who sat in a pile of his own blood that seeped from his entrance. Tajima's eyes followed his and he tensed, gripping his palm in anger.
"Keep your eyes off him" Tajima warned, storming up to the front of the glass, glaring daggers. Hideki looked more amused at the threat and his eyes did indeed though move back to Tajima.
"Oh? I had done more than just look at him" he taunted. Tajima was about to tear that glass down and rip apart that insolent aged human.
"Father" Madara called out, catching his father's attention and Tajima turned back to his son. No, Hideki could wait, for now he had to look after his son.
...
The hallways grew tighter and tighter until he came to a large metal door that read cell block 23. Madara's scent was faint almost disappearing completely. He had forced the door open revealing large cage doors with many vampires inside, howling and crying. Sebastian's eyes widened. Vampire's were being held captive and tortured.
He slowly walked the cell's length, looking in each cage searching for Madara. The scent was cold and he feared he must of been too late. A cell on the far right was pushed right open and it was empty inside completely but it was where the scent finished. Madara was here at one point but no more. A dead end. He could only wish Tajima's path was more promising.
"Well well" a voice purred from behind him. Sebastian turned slowly to see a human in the cell's doorframe. He was quite tall and broad and had shoulder length brunette hair looking somewhat similar to Hashirama's built and looks. "To find you here only means one thing. Your after Madara" Butsuma pointed out. Sebastian demeanor was calm and Butsuma was taken back at the man's stature. He was dressed as a traditional butler, a fully matured vampire and his eyes were blood red. A fierce amount of adrenaline pumped through his veins smiling firmly; a desire to fight burned deep within him. The howling of the oblivious vampires around them echoed off the walls but the two paid no attention.
"Where is he?" Sebastian demanded softly yet the authority in his voice was evident.
"Buried deep within our chambers" Butsuma said as if it were beside the point.
"You will not hand him over easily?" It was more of a statement.
Butsuma needn't reply and Sebastian dusted his coat ceremoniously, white gloves flicking off the dirt.
...
The need of protest filled him, making it practically impossible to hold in his questions but he hurried down the halls where Tobirama was leading him. He hoped for his brother's sake that he was not leading him towards the closest exit. Everyone was scattered from their posts and luckily the guards dismissed their presence looking for the more obvious threat so they had been able to scour the halls undisturbed.
Tobirama shared no words of where they were going and Hashirama had not learnt of the building's layout until they came to a stop at a office door, Tobirama kicking it open immediately. This office... No doubt was considered; it was Hideki's. The main center inside the facility with the boss computer and drawers of files hugged the drywall.
"Tobirama?" he questioned. Why would they be in the main office when Tajima and Sebastian were now in danger of being discovered. He wanted to be a part of the action so that he could, to the best of his abilities protect everyone. Madara, his love unseen of in weeks and he was desperate to have the sweet vampire in his arms again. Never would they be separated.
Tobirama didn't respond, moving over to the mother computer and he quickly sat into the desk, logging into the computer. Hashirama moved to his side to monitor his brother's work.
"The first thing we could do is erase all the data of Madara. Then it would be difficult to retrieve information afterwards if they decided to pursue us. And Hikaku too" Tobirama explained shortly. The light bulb flickered on as he realized. To remove Madara's information on the mother computer, it would wipe out all data entirely. His eyes scanned as Tobirama opened up a rather large file under the name of 'Uchiha Madara. Son of Uchiha Tajima'. Once he clicked on it, dozens of reports on Madara appeared, all on different dates and times. With this revealed, it burned Tobirama's betrayal all the more worse. It hadn't been one incident where he had blurted out a secret but constant reports retelling the stories he thought were between them.
He watched in silence at Tobirama deleted the entire folder before moving onto Hikaku's and doing likewise.
...
Tajima cracked his eyes open, glancing down at Madara's form. He held Madara deep in his arms, cradling him close and watched his son sleep. He was clearly exhausted and tired. For the time being he allowed Madara to rest against him, giving him the only warmth and comfort he must of been deprived of being in here. He stroked Madara's dark hair, spikes ruffling gently. Hideki had disappeared behind the glass and he was able to tell if he was still there but he had guessed not.
They had been trapped in here for hours and he felt no presence of Sebastian nor the two other humans, Hashirama and albino.
He dreadfully dropped his gaze once again, looking down to Madara's pale legs, blood coating his inner thighs. He had lifted Madara's long shirt above his hips and saw the bruising on his hips looking similar to hand prints. Immediately his grip tightened on Madara lifting Madara to sit in his lap, not worrying about the blood coating his trousers.
Tajima hardly reacted as loud sirens went off, warning signs of an attack. The Hyuuga and his family had finally arrived. He was slightly relieved to hear that they had finally made it and hopefully if any chance it would draw Hideki's attention away from them but it was not the case. Hideki appeared from behind the glass looking like he had run a marathon.
"You! Your cursed blood has arrived as you much anticipated" Hideki growled and Tajima didn't turn, keeping his eyes on Madara.
"I suggest you leave then" Tajima replied with obvious false concern. Hideki's eyes narrowed.
"Oh no. My workers are to deal with them. I had initially meant to capture the both of you but and keep you captive but my plan has came to a end. It seems that I have no choice but to dispose of you. I really wished to keep the both of you" Hideki drowned out disappointedly. Tajima was calm but the threat worried him and he looked down to Madara. He was in danger. Hideki was still talking. "I can't stay here much longer but I hope you two part dearly." he said and waved them off, the glass darkening once again.
Tajima looked around, for any signs that could be considered a threat but he felt Madara shifting in his arms.
"I'm sorry" came Madara's soft reply. Tajima's eyes narrowed instantly.
"NO! None of this is your fault."
"Had I not fallen in love with a human, maybe-"
"Lies son. You found your mate. You deserve to be happy" Tajima forced out, his throat tightening painfully. Madara gave him a soft look before sighing in defeat. He felt guilty for all of this.
A loud sound of metal clicking together alerted him to the rooftops and he watch the ceiling part open slowly. Sun rays beamed down from the crack and Tajima's eyes widened. Madara too noticed, tensing in his hold fighting the ability to cringe away from Tajima's tight hold. The beam of light hit the west wall and slowly the light became larger as the ceiling opened even more so but increasingly slow.
Tajima stood up alarmed. He reached down, tugging at the chain once more trying to free Madara frustration and worry building up in large mounds. The metal gave no sign of weakening and he almost screamed out in anger.
This was the end. There was no other choice.
Tajima slunk down onto his knees in front of Madara. This is the reason why he was kept alive; to save Madara a century later. Madara had noticed his defeat and his shoulders slumped in understanding. The sun light grew ever closer and Madara was shaking from the anticipation.
Tajima took a hold of Madara's hand sadly, a red tear rolling down his cheek. The understanding flew through his veins.
"Lawrence was going to initially kill you and claim Madara but there's something in your future, that he left you alive for..." Valentine had been somewhat aware but unable to change the course of his actions.
"...I'm going to let the future unfold..."
Lawrence's words were cold and it all made sense. He had predicted this, from the very moment he had bitten him back in the citadel.
His future... Was to die.
Madara's hand was cold and small in his own and he removed the ruby ring from his index finger and Madara realized quickly trying to pull his hand away but Tajima forced him to stay still, twisting the ring onto his finger and Madara had begun to panic.
Lawrence. He knew of the circumstances that would unfold and he was probably the reason why Valentine couldn't show up. Valentine was the only one possible that could have altered this path and he knew that. He wanted him dead... With him gone, Lawrence could do whatever he pleased. Tajima was the only one that stood before him and the Uchiha family... and Madara.
Madara's expression held despair and fear. This sign was showing him that he had given up. He forced Madara to wear the ring. The magic that would help him survive the harsh rays of the sun, not allowing Madara to reject it.
"No! No... No..." Madara repeated and Tajima just embraced him. Madara had begun to sob, fingers digging into the material of his blouse.
"You must stay alive. Escape from here and protect the Uchiha. Listen to me son, you mustn't be found by the Elders especially Lawrence." Tajima explained shortly but Madara gave him a look of confusion. "You will understand me eventually but do not be afraid."
The ceiling separated in two slowing sliding apart and allowing in more light. Tajima watched sadly giving Madara a small smile of confidence. He was happy to go as long as it meant Madara would live. Sebastian would help guide Madara into the right path and hopefully Lawrence didn't make a move too soon.
The sun rays were unlike anything he had felt before. When he had wore the ruby rings, it had charmed his skin just enough so he could tolerate it. The sun burned his skin and he flinched, holding Madara's head into his neck so that Madara's didn't watch his skin bubble. He had to hold himself from groaning but Madara caught onto him as he had begun to shake from the immense pain. In an attempt to calm Madara down, he begun to stroke his hair, blood dripping from his pores as his skin peeled off.
Madara tightened his arms around Tajima's chest, feeling the skin sink in as he burned. The sun touched his skin but caused no harm a warm feeling fluttering through his body. Tajima's arms were shaking around him and he tried to pull himself closer to him but soon the strong arms dissolved into nothingness and he heard Tajima's warm words coming to an end. The strong build that had held him turned into nothing more than thin air. Madara's eyes cracked open seeing the body completely gone from thin air and then his eyes dropped.
Madara's arms shook and his widened eyes looked down to the pile of dust that covered the pale floor and his legs. He stared in shock, feeling warm tears burn his eye sockets, dripping out in streams.
He sunk in fingers into the dust desperately wanting to feel Tajima again, that he had somehow escaped it. Not this time. Tajima was truly gone.
Silence filled the room and Madara continued to stare at the dust that had once been his strong protecting father. Blood pounded in his ears to a deafening degree and his heart had begun to pump angrily. He hardly registered screaming hands covered in blood and dirt.
Everything that happened next was a blur...
...
Hideki watched with wide eyes, a smirk playing against his features and luckily for his safety that glass hid his presence. It had been a miracle that Madara had not been taken out with the sun but the exchange of rings may had been what had protected him. Tajima had died within seconds of the exposure, turning into soot.
The vampires that had broken in through the front door became chaotic and killed on first sights. He had to leave but he had wanted to stay behind to watch the show. His eyes fell on Madara's form who leaned over the pile of dust that had used to be his father. He was shaking terribly and he heard a deathly scream alerting him in shock.
Madara stood up turning to look in his direction. Hideki glared and Madara's eyes were met with his. Impossible. He shouldn't be able to see him. Madara's eyes were piercing red glaring at him with red tears stilling on his face. The look on his face caused him to pause.
It was a expression he had not seen the Uchiha make till now and it almost frightened him to a sickening feeling of excitement. He met the vampire's eyes challeneges and a quick quirk of his lips, Madara snarled.
Hideki noticed strangely that Madara's fangs had begun to grow back to their full length showing a deadly sharpness that would alight fear in others. A flash of pain passed Madara's face and he fell onto his knees panting and groaning in pain. Hideki took a step closer to the glass watching in fascination. Madara leaned forward onto his hands, scratching the cemented floor and succeeded in creating a dent. The pale body begun to shake and Madara's thighs tensed retching forward as if he was to throw up, bearing his fangs. Madara's back underneath his clothing begun to shift as if the bones beneath the skin were moving about. The shirt was suddenly ripped open in two sections, large feathered wings protruding from Madara's back. They stretched out, feather's shaking off blood and skin.
A gasp left Hideki's lips and he took a step backwards despite feeling the desire of adrenalin and happiness. He had found a vampire unique to the others, more powerful than others before him. A strong beautiful specimen. His instincts told him to run but his insanity caused him to smirk and reach out to touch the glass.
Madara had seemed to calm down, regaining from the transformation and he lifted his head to glare at him. Madara's eyes were more bloodshot than ever and it almost pierced the glass itself. He saw the two long wings expand as if he was about to take flight, predicting the vampire's action, Madara moved at an incredible speed, slamming against the glass, wings keeping him a few inches from the floor.
The attack caused Hideki to stumble back and the walls trembled as Madara clawed against the glass intent to kill him. His long talons bared themselves into the glass and the strong material threatened to break within seconds.
Madara was a terrible threat and Hideki frowned. He had to move before Madara broke down the glass but he was trapped here and if Madara tore the glass down no doubt would he tear him to shed and eat the remains. Without hesitation or a second thought, he pushed on one of the larger buttons that was painted a bright red. After he had pushed the button the large solid doors inside Madara's confinement cell opened with a loud thud, catching Madara's attention. His head turned to look at the opening and in the hall stood many of his workers that had been chosen to guard against intruders.
Hideki watched as Madara's eyes fell on them, before glancing back to him. He was almost driven to stay by his chance of vengeance but the primal instincts took over. The fresh blood and Madara's hatred for the specie that had destroyed his father must have overridden his conscious and the humans had no time to run before Madara was on them. Hideki watched as the mere bodies were torn to pieces and blood covered the walls.
His eyes were cold.
...
Hashirama had asked the remaining fighters to flee before the wrath of the sun trapped them here. Many vampires of both Hyuuga and Uchiha had been lost in the fight but more so the humans had suffered the most. Tobirama had stayed with him during the chaos and he had no idea of Madara's location, nor of Tajima's and Sebastian's. They had offered support to many of the vampires and Hashirama continued down a hallway -Tobirama following from behind- that was bloodied and war torn. He heard screaming and cries and he followed after it. He needed all the vampires out of here or they had no chance of escaping. The morning sun had risen and the early sun looked down at the world with saddened rays.
These bodies, decapitated and bleeding out of both kinds brought back terrible memories; of serving in the Great wars between the countries. He had left in hopes of finding peace after learning that bloodshed was not the way and here he was again. A terrible cycle that was inescapable.
Hashirama had made it to the scene and instantly he froze. This hall had been littered with bodies of only humans, organs torn out and faces scratched off. He looked down to the black and white figure in shock. Tobirama had finally caught up and came to a stop just before him. Pale skin and a long torn shirt that covered blood of its victims. Two large wings curled around the body, long feathers shifting and a few feather's covered the floor. It was a dark, charcoal color and had long hair to match, spiking up naturally.
The vampire was kneeling over a dead man's carcass, hands deep into the man's stomach and was ripping out flesh and flicking away bones. Hashirama's heart froze. The body was so familiar despite the obvious changes.
"Madara?" came Hashirama soft voice, catching the vampire's attention who turned rather quickly. Hashirama was terrified to see such an expression. He had never seen Madara like this before. Madara looked at him with hatred and anger, blood trickling from his lips as he feasted upon the deceased. Tobirama looked concerned but Hashirama had tried to avoid it.
Those beautiful eyes were cold and distant as if Madara didn't recognize him. His heart tightened and he took a step forward, boot squelching in the blood. Madara gave him a threatening look and Tobirama reached out to grab him.
"Hashirama, don't!" Tobirama warned. Hashirama tugged his arm away angrily and looked back to Madara in hopes that he would realize he was safe now.
"Madara. Don't do this. The fight is over. There is no need for more blood" Hashirama tried. When he had taken another step, obviously took close for Madara's liking he lashed out, wings flaring back in anger but Hashirama refused to retreat, even just slightly. Hashirama seemed to have missed the growl from Madara and Tobirama quickly raced forward, pushing Hashirama aside and Madara had attacked in a split second.
Blood splattered.
Hashirama fell to the floor and he quickly looked to see what had happened. Tobirama had pushed him and Madara... Madara had attack him. Hashirama's eyes widened gaping at the scene.
Tobirama held Madara's arms back who was holding himself in the air with the powerful wings. For a moment, it looked that Tobirama had succeeded in holding Madara restraint but then a second glance he saw Madara's mouth clamped around his brother's forearm. Hashirama yelled, jumping up quickly and going after Madara. He knock Madara down onto the floor but Madara refused to let go of Tobirama's arm, teeth slicing deeper into the smooth skin and a purple trail of poison leaked down his arm.
Madara was killing Tobirama.
"Madara, GET OFF HIM!" Hashirama screamed and Tobirama gasped in pain unable to move his body as poisoned was injected deeply into his system mixing with the blood. Madara paid no attention and he grabbed Madara's long hair and tried to yank him, slightly concerned to not harm Madara but one of the powerful wings slammed into his side trying to push him away. Hashirama used his free arm and pushed Madara's wing back almost ready to snap it, trying to persuade Madara into letting go.
Madara did not budge. Tobirama was gasping for air. Dying.
Hashirama felt blinded, raising a large fist in the air and brought it hard down on Madara's head almost shattering his skull. It worked, Madara pulled away crying out and he grasped Madara by the throat and slammed him into the bloody wall, crushing his lovers throat.
Madara snapped at him and he punched Madara in the face, hard. He felt tears cascading down his face and Madara's cold eyes remained the same, desperately trying to escape. His wings tried to give him leverage trying to push away from the wall but Hashirama held him in place making the vampire stand on his toes or to suffocate. Hashirama breathed deeply, breath hitting Madara's face as he sweated.
"Stop this right now! You are to hurt no one! You will do as I say and stop this. You hear me?" Hashirama yelled, his voice breaking but Madara kept struggling and trying to bite him. "Please Madara, you aren't like this. I'm here to save you. We have come to take you back home. My love" Hashirama then tried in his warm voice. Madara looked as if he were to pass out. He took that weakened moment to press a soft kiss to the corners of Madara's lips, trying to avoid the canines altogether.
He felt Madara's thrashing come to a cease and he pulled back to look at Madara's eyes that finally had shown some emotion. They were wide in shock and confusion.
...
Hashirama's face was close to his breathing heavily in his own face. Tears of rage and sadness pooled down his cheeks and Madara couldn't help but question why. Hashirama's grip around his throat ceased just lightly but still kept him against the wall. Madara felt betrayed and hurt. Even Hashirama...
"Why?" Madara asked having to choke out the words. Hashirama did not say anything but pity was evident. He leant down and pulled Madara into a hug, embracing the man he had loved. Madara froze unsure. He looked over Hashirama's shoulder and saw the bloodied mess. Many humans lay dead and he was unsure of who had caused such a terrible death to them. A patch of familiar white hair surfaced from under the blood and Madara's froze seeing Tobirama laying down on the floor looking terribly dead.
Hashirama around him begun to shake uncontrollably and he had heard Hashirama cry, sobbing loudly.
What happened?
