Yugi groaned as he woke up, he found himself sprawled out on his bed still in his black tank top and black leather jeans, his vision slowly came to focus as he looked at the time on the clock reading 8am and he quickly he jumped of his bed with a happy face, he was going to be married in about 8 hours, he headed to the bath room to get ready for his big day. After he was done getting ready he walked over to the nightstand to pick up his phone. He noticed he had a message from Tea. He tapped on the message and listened to the voicemail.
Yugi. I'm sorry for what I'm about to say, but I feel that I need to get this off my chest, I love you with all my heart, I can't bear to see you with Atem, and now that your going to marry him and having his baby I cant bring myself to be there and see it all happen, no I'm not going to kill myself, I am leaving Hawaii with Marik, I don't know where we are going and neither is Marik, we are just heading out to travel the world with no destination and never looking back, I hope that you and Atem are happy together but remember this Yugi, you'll always be in my heart, no matter what, enjoy life with out me. Yugi just stood there holding the phone to his ear, thinking maybe this was some joke Tea was playing. he quickly ran out the door and down to Tea's room. He knocked on Tea's door but no one answered, he dialed Tea's number. "I'm sorry but the number you are calling is no longer in service." Yugi hung up the phone and knocked on Tea's door some more, when no one answered he ran down to the end of the hall to Ishizu's room and knocked on the door until Ishizu answered. "Yugi, is everything ok?"
"Is Marik in here?" Yugi asked as he shoved his way in.
"No he was gone when I woke up this morning." Ishizu told him. "He might be with his band mates going over the songs they will perform at your wedding."
Before Ishizu could ask another question Yugi quickly ran down the hall to the elevators which were out of order again. "Damn it." Yugi yelled as he banged on the door. Yugi ran to the stairwell and ran up the stairs to the floor Mariks band mates were on. He ran up to the door and pounded really hard on the door until Quinn answered.
"Is there a reason why your banging on our door at...what ever time it is in the morning?" Quinn asked in a groggy voice.
"Is Marik in here?" Yugi asked as he walked in only to find Rick and Gil sitting at a table.
"Well good morning soon to be married man." Rick greeted. "Just going over the list of songs you gave us..."
"Have you guys seen Marik or Tea?"
"Well we haven't seen Tea but we saw Marik last night." Gil answered.
"Yeah he told us he was quitting the band." Rick said
"He quit." Yugi said.
"Yeah, told us he was quitting and was going to travel the world with that cute little blue eyed girl of his." Quinn said.
"This can't be true." Yugi said to himself. "This has got to be some sort of joke." Yugi quickly left the room and walked across the hall to Mai's room. "Mai are you in there" Yugi yelled pounding on the door. "Mai please open up, I really need to talk to you." Finally the door opened up to reveal Mai wearing nothing but a bathrobe. "Is Tea in there?"
"No she's not." Mai answered then suddenly there was a noise in the bedroom.
"Tea." Yugi said as he barged in hoping to see Tea but instead was shocked when he saw a shirtless Joey picking up the clock radio.
"Umm, morning." Joey said nervously.
"Morning." Yugi said quietly.
"Just picking up the clock radio...knocked it on the floor by accident." Joey said still sounding nervous.
"Ok." Yugi said.
"We didn't have sex." Joey said quickly. "We just talked all night."
"I didn't ask if you two had sex and even if you two did, I have no right to judge." Yugi turned to look at Mai who didn't look nervous or guilty. "Have you seen Tea or know where she is?"
Mai sighed. "I was with her for a bit last night after we all got back from the hospital, I was holding her hair back as she was leaning over the toilet puking up all those drinks she had, when Marik came knocking and asked to talk to Tea alone. I don't know what they talked about but earlier this morning she left me a message saying she is going to travel the world with Marik."
"Can I...can I listen to the message?"
"Sure." Mai walked over to the night stand, picked up the phone and gave it to Yugi who clicked on the message."
"Hey Mai, it's Tea. Well let me start off by saying I've enjoyed sharing a New York apartment with you for the past 2 years and I really hate to do this to you so suddenly but your going to have to find yourself a new roommate cause I'm currently at the airport with Marik waiting to board the next flight out of here. We are going to travel the world together for while and then I guess settle down some where and just live happily together. As for all my stuff at our apartment you can either save it in storage or just sell it, cause I don't know if I'll ever come back for any of it. Tea stopped talking and in the background you could hear the muffled voice from the intercom announcing the flights. "Well our flight is boarding." Tea sighed. "Look I know if I was there right now you would be telling me not to run away from this, to stay and fight for Yugi but Mai...they are getting married later tonight and having a baby, I just...I can't..." Tea could be heard sobbing before she hung up the phone. Yugi just stood there holding the phone to his ear before he slowly lowered his arm and just stood there staring at the floor.
"Tea, there's something I have to tell you and I don't want you to say anything until I'm done. Okay?"
"Okay." She then sat down beside Yugi as he turned to her.
"Tea, we've known each other a long time. You were my best friend. No matter what went wrong, I could always count on you to support and help me. Every time I would duel, you were the one who had the most faith in me. I could never express my gratitude enough for all of that."
"Go on." Tea said.
Yugi then clasped Tea's hand gently. "Tea, I couldn't go on if I'd lost you without telling you how I feel. I... I love you."
At this, Tea blushed. She knew that Yugi cared a lot about her. It was in his eyes whenever they would look at each other. She felt the same way but could never finds the right words to tell him.
"Yugi..." Tea said softly as she blushed, looking deep into his kind eyes. "You mean a lot to me, too. You're one of the bravest and sweetest guys I've met. You even put your life on the line to save mine once. Yugi, what I'm trying to say is... I love you, too."
Yugi was in pure heaven when he heard those words. Feeling a little braver, he cradled her face in his hands, gently feeling the warmth and softness of her skin. Tea shivered from the touch, cherishing the feel of his fingers as they touched her skin. Their faces drew closer and closer until... Yugi Muuto and Tea Gardner shared their very first kiss. Neither one wanted the moment to end, losing themselves in the pleasure they felt from each other. Finally, both of them broke apart, blushing and breathing heavily.
"Oh Yugi, I wanted this for so long." Tea said.
"I did, too." Yugi replied. "You don't know how happy this has made me." He then looked up into the sky, seeing the stars shining brightly in the distance.
"Yugi...Yugi...YUGI!"
"Huh..." Yugi turned to look at Joey who had his hand on his shoulder, looking at his friend with a worried look.
"Your crying." Joey told him.
Yugi touched his cheek which were wet with tears. He then looked at Mai who was giving him a sad look. She was about to say something when Yugi spoke. "I'm sorry to bother you guys." Yugi quickly left the room.
"He left with my phone." Mai said quietly.

The sun was just starting to set in beautiful Hawaii, the beach was busy with family's packing up there beach gear and heading home after a long day on the beach, young couples walking on the beach waiting to watch the sunset but one area of the beach was busy with people setting up for the wedding. There where two tents set up on the beach, Yugi was in one of the tents wearing a white tuxedo, he was standing in front of a mirror looking at himself as he held the phone up to his ear listening to Tea's message over and over again.
"Yugi, you look fabulous my boy," Solomon said as he entered the tent.
"Thanks Grandpa." Yugi said quietly still looking down at the note.
"What's wrong?" Grandpa asked as he put his hand on Yugi's shoulder. "This is the happiest day of your life and yet you look like the love of your life just left."
Yugi started to let out quiet sobs and turns around to look at grandpa. "Oh Grandpa, that's exactly what happened."
"Atem left?" Grandpa questioned. "I just saw him in the other tent, why would he leave you now, after all you two have been threw, especially now when you have a baby on the way."
"I'm not talking about Atem." Yugi said and then held out the his cell phone to grandpa. Grandpa took the took the phone and listened to the message. After listening to the message he then looked at Yugi. "Tea's the love of my life grandpa, she always has been and now because of me I'll never see her again."
"You don't know that Yugi." Solomon said.
"I do know that Grandpa." Yugi said with more tears rolling down his cheeks. "She left and didn't tell anyone where she is going, I tried calling her but all I got was a message saying her number is no longer in service." Yugi sat down. "Oh Grandpa, I've made a terrible mistake of things, I don't know what I was thinking, I've acted like such a fool the past three years."
Grandpa sat down next to Yugi. "Oh Yugi." He put his hand on Yugi's shoulder. "Your right you have made a fool of yourself." Yugi gave his grandpa a hurtful look. "What, you said it, were you expecting me to say no your good boy and pat you on the head."
Yugi sighed. "I don't know what to do Grandpa, I love Tea but I'm having Atem's baby and we are getting married."
"Yugi." Grandpa started. "Do you want to go threw with the wedding?"
"I...I'm...I don't know Grandpa. I don't know what I should do."
"You need to go talk to Atem about how your feeling, you don't want to go threw with the wedding when your having mixed feelings."
Yugi stood up. "Thanks Grandpa." Yugi walked out of the tent, as he was walking towards Atem's tent he looked out at all the chairs set up in front of the alter, all his friends taking their seats, well not all of his friends, Tea wasn't here. He stopped outside Atem's tent, took a deep breath and walked in. "Hey Atem, I need to talk to y..." Yugi was shocked at what he saw, Atem on his hands and knees being fucked by Akefia, both of them when Yugi walked in, Akefia quickly pulled out of Atem, both of them quickly standing up and pulling up their pants.
The room was silent. All three of them standing there. Atem and Akefia both looking guilty and Yugi just standing there not looking shocked, just had a blank expression on his face. He wasn't looking at Atem or Akefia he was just staring. Atem got worried and started to walk towards Yugi. "Yugi..."
"YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE!" Yugi yelled and then out of no where punched Atem hard in the face knocking him to the ground. "I CAN'T FUCKING BELIEVE YOU!" Yugi reached down and pulled up Atem by his tie. "HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME! AFTER EVERYTHING WE HAVE BEEN THREW! AFTER EVERYTHING I HAVE DONE FOR YOU! I LEFT TEA FOR YOU, YOU SON OF A BITCH!"
"Yugi what's going on?"
Yugi turned to see Joey standing outside the tent along with all of his friends who had come to see what all the yelling was about. Yugi let go of Atem and walked out of tent and past his friends. He stopped and turned to look at his friends. "The wedding is off." Yugi said. "I'm sorry all of you wasted your time coming all the way out here for nothing."
"Well look on the bright side." Tristan said. "For the rest of us it wasn't for nothing but a week long vacation that we didn't have to pay for." Everyone just gave Tristan an annoyed look.
"My sister is having your baby." Joey said.
"I was just trying to brighten the mood." Tristan said.
"Look can everyone please give Me and Yugi some privacy." Atem said. "We need to talk privately about this."
"THERE IS NOTHING TO TALK ABOUT!" Yugi yelled. "AFTER SEEING YOU BEING SCREWED BY AKEFIA I KNOW MARRYING YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE!"
"What." Ryou said.
"I'm sorry Ryou." Yugi said.
Ryou looked in the tent at Akefia who quickly looked away. Ryou held his baby in his arms tightly as he walked towards Akefia. "Is what Yugi saying true, were you having sex with Atem."
"Yes it's true."
Ryou raised his hand and slapped Akefia across the face. "HOW COULD YOU! I JUST HAD YOUR BABY LAST NIGHT!"
Akefia sighed. "Look, this didn't just start today." He said calmly. "it's been going on for a year."
Ryou was speechless, wasn't even aware Amane had started crying. Akefia reached out to take the baby when Ryou pulled away. "Don't touch her." Ryou snapped. He quickly walked away with the screaming infant. Everyone looked at Akefia expecting him to go after him but he just stood there.
"So, you've been letting Akefia fuck you for a whole year behind my back." Yugi said.
"Don't know why you are so mad." Akefia started. "You and Atem did the same thing behind Tea's back for a whole year."
"A Year." Joey said. "You told us the affair was only going on for a couple months."
Yugi didn't say anything, he just stood there looking at all his friends who were giving him hateful looks. Yugi quickly took off running back towards the hotel. "Yugi." Atem said as he grabbed Yugi's arm. "Lets just talk about this."
"There is nothing to talk about." Yugi said as he yanked his arm away from Atem. "I don't want to hear anything you to say." As he crossed the street, a car suddenly came speeding up to him. Yugi turned to the direction of the car, and his eyes widened.
"Yugi! Watch Out" Atem screamed, and ran as fast as he could towards him. But it was too late, Yugi got hit by a car right before his very eyes. "YUGI!" Atem screamed, with tears streaming down his face.
The driver quickly got out of his car, to check if Yugi was alright. he was bleeding.. ALOT. The driver got out his cell phone and called the police.
"Yugi! Speak to me!" Atem ran to his side and picked up his lifeless body, he was crying.
Within minutes, Yugi was instantly transferred to the hospital.
