Space- Near Tatooine
The Quicksilver flies through hyperspace at lightspeed. Sitting in the cockpit is Corvus who has taken off his helmet to show his face. Over the year, Corvus has become handsome more than pretty. In fact, Obi-Wan sees he has grown into traditional Mandalorian features. Corvus has sharp, dark violet eyes with thin eye, sharp eyebrows, spikey blonde hair, which ends at the base of his neck, is always unkempt, and is parted down the middle. His personality appears to be rather laid back when doing nothing but ruthless in combat. Obi-Wan suspects that ruthlessness stems from his days as a bounty hunter.
Obi-Wan goes through the battle between the brothers and Corvus in his head. Corvus demonstrated great saber skills in the battle and without a doubt, would be deadly in single combat. Having gone over his file, Obi-Wan has no doubt that Corvus is without a doubt, one of the most powerful, if not the most powerful Padawan at this time. According to Masters Yoda, Windu, and Cin Drallig, Corvus's most astounding ability is his growth rate; he grasps the basic control of advanced techniques in days where it would take several years for even the most gifted Jedi. Despite his somewhat cocky and taunting attitude, Corvus is analytical, perceptive, and deductive. In the fight with the four brothers, he immediately dispatched Ryen after mere seconds of observing his fighting style.
"Master?" Calls Corvus, making Obi-Wan stir from his thoughts. He looks to the Mandalorian who has a tilted head. He must have been calling Obi-Wan for some time.
"Yes, Padawan?" Replies Obi-Wan, making Corvus smile.
"We're approaching Tatooine." States Corvus as he cuts the sublight engines. The ship exits hyperspace to reveal the dust ball of a planet. Obi-Wan looks at the planet, haven't been here since before the Clone Wars began.
"Jabba's Palace is not a good place to land." States Corvus as he enters the atmosphere and speeds down, "I'll set us down a bit ways from the palace."
"Good idea, no need to announce our presence." Nods Obi-Wan, making Corvus smile, liking his new master. He of course has heard of Master Kenobi and his brilliance and intellect, but you never rely solely on rumors, "There's a place." Corvus follows his master's sight and spots a low populated area.
"That'll do." States Corvus before turning the starship and beginning to land, "Setting her down now." The ship shakes as it lands before Corvus exits his seat.
"Remember, keep track of your things." Reminds Corvus having told Obi-Wan, thieves tend to flock around Jabba. Once something is stolen, it'll be hard to convince someone it was yours to begin with.
"Right, let's hope we have no problems." States Obi-Wan as he puts on his Jedi cloak with Corvus doing the same. The two Jedi exit the ship with Pan yipping behind them. Obi-Wan looks to the Vulptex and bends down to pet her.
"It's too dangerous for you where we're going." States Obi-Wan, making Corvus look to the scene, "Watch over the ship." Pan yips before going back into the ship, making Corvus smile.
"Shall we get going?" Questions Obi-Wan as the two continue their walk.
"Your saber skills are most impressive." Compliments Obi-Wan, speaking up after a while, "Niman, correct?"
"Yes, master." Replies Corvus as he talks to his new master, "I have designed it to focus on Vaapad, and Shien."
"Indeed, but you should worry about facing multiply skilled opponents at once." States Obi-Wan, making Corvus confused, "Your style is suited to facing a single opponent but you need to be prepared if you are to face more than one enemy."
"What should I do?" Questions Corvus, making Obi-Wan smile and look to him.
"You have been trained in Niman, use those skills to your advantage and combine all forms into a single form you can use." States Obi-Wan but Corvus is still confused.
"Isn't that what Niman is?" Questions Corvus with confusion.
"In a way but Niman allows you to use all forms, but you never truly master any of them." States Obi-Wan, making Corvus nod his head, "So train in all forms and you'll become a Niman master, like Cin Drallig." Corvus widens his eyes, having always wanted to blend all the forms like Cin Drallig.
"Sounds like fun, I'll work on it master." States Corvus, making Obi-Wan nod his head. Obi-Wan's comlink beeps, making the two stop as he answers. The Supreme Chancellor and Yoda appear as holograms.
"Master Yoda, Supreme Chancellor." Greets Obi-Wan with Corvus bow his head slightly.
"Contacted us, Jabba has." Reveals Yoda, making Corvus raise a brow. Something must have happened to make Jabba contact them again so quickly, "Upset he is at the pace of the mission, hmm."
"I have assured him that the Jedi are doing all they can to locate his son but he appears to be losing patience." States Palpatine, making Corvus nod his head.
"The Hutts aren't exactly fond of that word." States Corvus with folded arms. The Hutts expect everything to be done as they command it, when they command it.
"I have no doubt but they are threatening to withdraw their proposal of allowing the Republic safe passage through their territory." States Palpatine, making Corvus sigh.
"Hurry to the palace, you must." States Yoda, making Master and Padawan nod their heads.
"We're right outside the palace and are about to negotiate with the Hutt." States Obi-Wan, making Yoda nod his head.
"Careful you must be, a disturbance I sense." States Yoda, making the two nod their heads.
"I feel it also." States Obi-Wan before cutting the transmission. "Well we better get going." States Obi-Wan, making Corvus nod his head. The two make their way towards the Palace with Corvus holding his head. Obi-Wan looks to him before grabbing his shoulder.
"What's wrong?" Questions Obi-Wan, making Corvus look to him.
"Something's wrong." States Corvus before he turns back to the ship. Pan yips as she runs to the two.
"Pan, I thought is said to stay with the ship?" Questions Corvus with a raised brow at Pan who wags her tail.
"She's certainly happy to see us." States Obi-Wan as Corvus looks to Pan. As Corvus looks to Obi-Wan, his ears twitch.
"Master, get down!" Warns Corvus as he grabs Obi-Wan and pulls him down as a rocket sails over the two and hits the Quicksilver. The ship blows up in a fiery explosion, sending both Jedi sailing back. Debris falls as Corvus looks up with Obi-Wan with his helmet on, "Are you alright?"
"I-I'm fine." Assures Obi-Wan as he coughs. Pan yips in alarm, making Corvus cock his head to the left.
"Speeder bikes!" Warns Corvus as he gets up with his master. The two turns to see a band of thugs riding right for them. Corvus puts his hand up and launches a missile from his vambrace. The missile hits between the speeders, sending several men sailing from their bikes. The others begin to fire before Obi-Wan ignites his lightsaber and deflects the shots back at their source, destroying three bikes. Corvus watches as a rider comes for him, seeking to run him over. Corvus jumps and flips in the air before landing on the bike. He quickly dispatches the rider with a neck snap before tossing him off. Corvus comes back around before going full speed into the last two bikes. Corvus back flips off, sending his bike into the last two.
Corvus turns and spots more thugs running up before he pulls out two explosive knives. The first thug comes close before Corvus ducks and stabs the knife into his chest before stabbing the other into another thugs back. He moves quickly, stabbing knives into each thug before spinning and dropping a bomb that rolls to a group of thugs. Simultaneously, the knife bombs and the thermal detonator, go off with Corvus in the middle.
"Kill him boys!" Shouts at least five more thugs. Corvus spins around and points his left arm at the thugs. Five darts fly from the arm and hit the thugs. The thugs groan before falling into the sand.
"Well, it appears we have picked up some attention." States Obi-Wan as he looks to the thug. Corvus looks around before spotting a Dug who hides. The Dug becomes nervous before Corvus grabs him and pulls him from his cover. The Dug hits the sand and coughs before turning to see Corvus and Obi-Wan.
"Coo are u, sleemo?!" Demands Corvus as he steps on the Dug's legs, making the creature shout out in pain, "Coo ordered doe attack?!"
"Answer me!" Demands Corvus as he applies more pressure. Obi-Wan grabs his arm and pulls him close.
"Calmly, Padawan." Soothes Obi-Wan, making Corvus look to him, "Remain calm and control your aggression." Corvus takes a breath and calms down before looking to Obi-Wan.
"Forgive me, master." States Corvus, as Obi-Wan pats his shoulder. Corvus looks to the remains of the Quicksilver and sighs. He has fond memories of his time on that ship. Shooting down Pirates in the Hoth System, escaping with Cargo from Coruscant, and tracking down numerous bounties.
"Who hired you?" Demands Obi-Wan, making the Dug cower.
"I-I don't know!" Panics the Dug. Corvus bends down and glares at the Dug.
"You destroyed my ship." Reminds Corvus as he looks to the Dug, "I am in no mood to play games."
"W-Wait, some Cathar came to me and told me to kill you when you landed on Tatooine!" Rants the Dug, making Corvus look to Obi-Wan.
"Tyen, looks like he wants you dead." States Obi-Wan, making Corvus scoff before looking to the Dug.
"You're one of Jabba's men, aren't you?" Questions Corvus, making the Dug nod his head.
"Good, you and he owe me a ship." States Corvus before grabbing the Dug. Corvus takes a final look to the wreckage before sighing. Corvus turns to the doors of the palace, which open. The two Jedi glance to each other before looking to the droid translator that walks up to them with two thugs.
"We should not keep the Wise and Powerful Jabba waiting." States the droid, making Corvus roll his eyes.
"I wouldn't dream of it." Quips Obi-Wan with a smile to Corvus who smirks. The two are escorted by the droid and thugs, into the palace.
Inside the Palace, Obi-Wan and Corvus are escorted into the main room. Corvus spots a Twi'lek dancing and feels sorrow for the girl. He knows what happens to the girls Jabba likes and it isn't good. Speaking of the Hutt, Corvus spots the Hutt lounging and looking at the dancing. He spots many bounty hunters in the palace but knows none of them know who he is. The two Jedi stop in front of Jabba who looks to them.
"Greetings, Mighty Jabba." Greets Corvus, knowing how to talk to a Hutt. Obi-Wan follows his lead as this is new territory for him. Dealing with the Hutts is dangerous as the slightest thing can set them off, "I am Padawan Corvus Vizsla."
"The Mighty Jabba has heard of that name before." States the translator droid, "Clan Vizsla has produced some of the deadliest bounty hunters in the galaxy."
"Indeed, they have." States Corvus, making Jabba laugh.
"The Mighty Jabba, wishes to know why you aren't working for him?" States the translator droid. Obi-Wan looks to Corvus who pulls something out from his cloak. A medal that appears to bear the Hutt Families' sigil. Jabba widens his eyes and then barks out with laughter.
"The Mighty Jabba has not seen you in some time." States the translator droids, "He wonders if you are still in the business?"
"Sort of." States Corvus, making Jabba chuckle.
"I would like to introduce my master, Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi." States Corvus as he gestures to Obi-Wan who steps forward and bows his head, "He is here to negotiate with you."
"But before that." States Corvus as he throws the Dug before Jabba, "One of your men attacked me and my master and destroyed my ship!"
"I know you would never do such a thing." Adds Corvus before Jabba speaks loudly.
"Selbulba, why have you attacked the group that is going to save the Mighty Jabba's son?" States the translator droid.
"He was paid and I want a new ship!" Demands Corvus, making Jabba look to him. Corvus had customized the Quicksilver to his standards and he spent a lot of credits on such a thing. Jabba speaks while gesturing with his hands to calm down.
"The Mighty and Most Gracious Jabba is fully willing to give you a new ship along with substantial funds." States the droid, making Corvus tap his foot on the ground. Jabba speaks again before gesturing with his hands, "Selbulba's ships is the fastest ship in the sector though that is no surprise given he is the former champion of the Pod Race."
"I'll take it." States Corvus before gesturing to Obi-Wan who steps forward.
"Greetings, Mighty Jabba." Greets Obi-Wan, "I assure you that one of our most powerful Jedi is on his way to rescue your son."
"We will not let you down." Assures Obi-Wan, making Jabba speak and Corvus covers his mouth, knowing the language.
"The most Gracious Jabba has one more, small condition." States the droid, making Obi-Wan raise a brow, "He demands you bring back the slime that kidnapped his little… Punky Muffin."
"Punky?" States Obi-Wan with amusement as Jabba speaks again.
"Dead or Alive." Finishes the droid, making Obi-Wan narrow his eyes.
"If you do not succeed, Dooku and his droid army will." States the droid, making Corvus sigh. The two bow their heads before taking their leave. Getting outside the palace, Obi-Wan contacts Anakin.
"We won't have much time." States Corvus, making Obi-Wan nod his head.
"Indeed, we must be quick." States Obi-Wan before Anakin appears as a hologram.
"All right, Anakin, here's the story." States Obi-Wan to Anakin, "Jabba has given us only one planetary rotation. ...To get his son back home to Tatooine safe and sound."
"Won't take us that long master." Assures Anakin. Corvus looks around, feeling something is here. He focuses his ears but picks up nothing.
"Well, take extreme care." States Obi-Wan as he looks to Corvus, "We have no idea who's holding Jabba's son."
"When we've finished negotiations with him, we will join you." States Obi-Wan before Corvus looks to him.
"Tell Ahsoka to be careful." Adds Corvus with a smirk before Ahsoka appears.
"I'll be fine!" Exclaims Ahsoka, making Corvus laugh.
"Stop that!" Exclaims Ahsoka before the transmission cuts off. Pan yips, making Corvus pet her behind her ears. Pan purrs at the contact, making Obi-Wan chuckle.
Minutes Later, Corvus, Pan and Obi-Wan, make their way to the back of Jabba's palace. The come out at a large area that reveals a large starship. Corvus deadpans at the ship with Obi-Wan putting his hands on his hips. The ship is… a piece of junk. Corvus looks to the ship and growls before looking to Selbulba. Judging by its frame, Corvus makes the ship out to be a XS Stock Light.
"You call this thing a ship!" Growls Corvus with Pan snarling at the Dug, "I'd have a better chance of flying myself through space!"
"Poodoo." Whispers Selbulba, making Corvus grab him by his collar.
"What did you say?!" Growls Corvus with Pan lowering her head and barking at the Dug. Obi-Wan looks to Corvus before sighing.
"So, can you fly it?" Asks Obi-Wan, making Corvus drop Selbulba.
"As long as the engines work." States Corvus before boarding the ship with Pan enters the ship. The ships shows how spacious it is. Corvus looks around and groans at all the work he's going to have to do to modify and upgrade the ship. Pan yips, making Corvus turn and pat her head.
"Alright girl, let's go see the cockpit… if it even has one." States Corvus as Pan rushes ahead with Corvus following. Obi-Wan enters the cockpit. Corvus looks over the instruments and begins to flip the switches. The engine stalls, making Corvus groan before starting them again.
"Cortana, can you upload to the ship?" Questions Corvus as Cortana appears.
"Not without the proper modifications." States Cortana, making Corvus groan, "I am sorry about the Quicksilver."
"I know, I'll miss her." States Corvus before the engines start after some tinkering.
"Well this should be fun." States Obi-Wan with sarcasm.
"Let's pray this bucket of bolts will hold together." Says Corvus before the ship hovers off the ground. The engines flare to life before the starship blasts from its position, making Corvus's back hit the seat.
"Son of a Hutt!" Exclaims Corvus as the starship moves fast. The ship enters the atmosphere in record time, making Corvus blink his eyes.
"Well, it is fast." States Corvus as he looks to Obi-Wan and laughs sheepishly at Obi-Wan's state. Obi-Wan's hair is ruined and he grips the seat tightly, "Just wait till I customize it!"
"I will never fly with you." States Obi-Wan, making Corvus chuckle with Pan hopping onto Obi-Wan's lap and licking his face.
"Making the jump to lightspeed." States Corvus before the ship blasts off into hyperspace.
Later- Teth
The Supremacy, exits hyperspace in front of the planet, Teth. Following the ship is Corvus and Obi-Wan in the Junkrat, as called by Corvus. The Supremacy opens its hangers and unleashes its armament of fighters and gunships. The fighters and gunships hand behind the Junkrat that flies at surprisingly high-speeds. Corvus punches several buttons as the cannons come online.
"Oh, great." Mutters Corvus as the cannons don't turn to their fully degree, "The cannons will only cover what's in front of us."
"Well, that's comforting." Quips Obi-Wan, making Corvus groan.
"Not helping, master!" States Corvus as the Junkrat flies down into the atmosphere.
"Gold Leader, do you read me?" Questions Corvus through the coms.
"Loud and clear, general." Responds Gold Leader.
"Give me a fighter squadron to cover my back!" Commands Corvus as the Junkrat levels and heads for the temple with the other crafts.
"Right away, sir!" Replies Gold Leader.
"Skywalker's in trouble!" States Obi-Wan through the coms, "We all know the drill."
"Yes, sir!" Replies all crafts. Corvus looks dead ahead before he spots enemy fighters.
"Fighters incoming!" Warns Gold Leader before red lasers shoot from the enemy.
"Time to see what the Junkrat is capable of." States Corvus with a smile, liking the speed of the ship even though she's not pretty, "Firing lasers!" The Junkrat unleashes its two dorsal and portside laser cannons into the enemy fighters. Several droids are hit and explode before Corvus spins, making Obi-Wan hold in his lunch.
"Slow down, this isn't the Quicksilver!" Exclaims Obi-Wan as he holds the seat tightly.
"Hang onto your lunch master here we go." Warns Corvus before the Junkrat goes straight up before flipping and diving right down.
"By the Force, I didn't know this ship could do that." Mutters Obi-Wan after regaining his breath. Pan goes around the ship with her collar on, which enables Cortana the ability to function as an Astrodroid. Pan stops in front of some wires before the collar opens and reveals several small tools. The tools touch the wires and rearrange them. The cannons gain full maneuverability.
"The cannons are fully operational!" Reveals Cortana, making Corvus smile and target the fighters behind him. The Junkrat turns right with fighters on its tail before one is destroyed by the laser cannons. The ship takes two shots and shakes, making Corvus groan.
"Poodoo, she's got a fat ass." States Corvus, making Obi-Wan look to him before Corvus turns left and cuts the power to allow the Junkrat to hover as it turns. The enemy fighter sails right by before Corvus turns the power back on and gets behind the fighter and destroys it with laser fire, "Woo, now that's what I'm talking about!"
"Please, get me off this thing." Mutters Obi-Wan, making Corvus laugh at his face. Obi-Wan's comlink beeps, making Obi-Wan answer the transmission.
"Skywalker to Obi-Wan! Mark my position, I need a medical ship stat!" States Anakin, making Obi-Wan answer it.
"Anakin! Do you read me?!" Replies Obi-Wan but the transmission is being blocked.
"They must be jamming our transmissions." States Corvus before flying through the fighters.
"I hope Anakin is having better luck than we are." States Obi-Wan as fighters swarm the Junkrat. The escort fighters take them down before Corvus spots Gold Leader with two fighters on his tail.
"I'm hit, I can't shake them!" Panics Gold Leader.
"Relax, I'm right behind you." Assures Corvus as he takes down the two fighters.
"Thanks, General, sorry I panicked." States Gold Leader, making Corvus shake his head with a smirk.
"No need, it happens to the best of us." States Corvus as Obi-Wan looks at the temple. He sees laser fire and hums.
"There appears to be some sort of battle on the east side of the palace." States Obi-Wan, making Corvus lean his ship and take a look, "And if there's a battle, Anakin is probably in the middle of it."
"Then we should start looking there." States Corvus as the Junkrat spins before launching towards the battle location, "Gunships, follow me! Fighters, break off and destroy the enemy fighters!"
"Yes, sir!" Reply the fighters. The guns ships trail the Junkrat that speeds ahead of them slower vessels.
Alpha-17 or more commonly known to as; Rex, is having a tough time at the moment. He is down to few men and running low on ammo. Surrounding him are droids of various designs. Rex fires his carbine, taking down two droids before ducking under cover as one of the clones, rushes forward. The clone whacks a droid with his carbine but this does little to the droid who kills the clone.
"Surrender, Republic Dogs." States a droid as Rex looks around.
"We've got you outnumbered!" Shouts Rex as a bluff. The droid that spoke looks around.
"Outnumbered?!" Exclaims the droid before he actually starts counting his troops. Suddenly, laser firs destroys the droids as the Junkrat appears to save the day. The Junkrat hovers as it turns before the ramp opens and Obi-Wan jumps out with his lightsaber activated. He destroys a droid as he lands before gunships arrive, bearing the sigil of Havoc Legion. The Sigil is similar in design to the Mythosaur skull but is engulfed in a circle. The clones the exit the gunships wear different armor than the other clones. The armors appear different for every captain, lieutenant, sergeant and commander but appear to be of the same type. Havoc Legion has been equipped with the prototype armor; The Mjolnir Powered Assault Armor or MPAA. The designs vary but all are part of Havoc Legion due to the sigil on their armor.
"Left!" Shouts a Sergeant in blue armor as he fires his rifle at the droids.
"Fire!" Shouts another clone as Havoc Legion pushes forward, pushing back the droids before the Junkrat lands. Corvus exits the ship with his helmet on before moving forward with his Darksaber activated on one side. He deflects two shots back at a droid before spinning and cutting a droid in half. He then jumps before slicing another droid down the middle and dashing through a group of droids while slashing with pin point accuracy. He ends in a sweep as the droids fall behind him in various pieces.
The Muunilinst 10 arrive and rope down before Hammer jumps out with a large hammer in his hands. He slams it down on the ground, causing a small quake that unsteadies the droids. The others finish them off as Spec unloads his rotary blaster cannons on the droids. Corvus moves forward while deflecting lasers with Obi-Wan by his side.
"Captain!" Calls Obi-Wan as he deflects another shot, "Where's Anakin!?"
"Best guess is he's still in the castle, sir." Replies Rex as Corvus deflects two shots before spotting a rocket launcher. The droid fires before Corvus puts his hand out. The rocket stops right in front of the group before Corvus pushes it back, destroying the droids.
"Commander!" Calls Corvus, making Fordo rush to him, "I want these droid gone!"
"Yes, sir!" States Fordo before Obi-Wan looks to Rex.
"Keep the droids occupied while we go find him." Orders Obi-Wan as he and Corvus rush forward while deflecting lasers. As the two rush forward, Corvus spots Ventress with her cloak and two battle droids.
"Master Kenobi, always chasing after Skywalker." States Ventress before spotting Corvus who deactivates his helmet to show his face, "How predictable."
"Anakin leaves quite a mess, which always leads me to you, Ventress." States Obi-Wan as he enters his stance.
"I thought I smelled something foul." States Corvus, making Ventress glare.
"Your death will please me greatly, boy." States Ventress, making Corvus enter his stance.
"I'm sure it would." States Corvus as Obi-Wan looks around.
"Take them!" Commands Ventress as the two B2s fire at the Jedi. Corvus taps a part of his neck and his helmet appears. The two easily dispatch the droids and race after Ventress. The two enter the temple with pillars surrounding them.
"Ventress I know you're here." States Obi-Wan as he looks around while Corvus uses his ears, "You can't hide."
"I feel your frustration." Adds Corvus as he looks around, "Let me guess; you're after Jabba's son too?"
"RAAAGH!" Shouts Ventress before Corvus and Obi-Wan turn to block both red sabers. The saber lock is broken when Corvus pushes Ventress back before kicking her in the stomach. Ventress flips back but lands on her feet before tossing her cloak at the two Jedi. Obi-Wan slashes through it to show Ventress swinging down with both sabers. Corvus blocks the attack with his saber, initiating another blade lock.
"Child's play." Taunts Corvus, making Ventress growl before smirking.
"I have someone here who is dying to meet you." States Ventress, making Corvus widen his eyes as his ears pick up fast footsteps.
"Master, behind us!" Warns Corvus before disengaging Ventress and clashing with the newcomer. The light from the locked sabers illuminates the newcomer who is revealed to be Tyen.
"Ready to die?" Snarls Tyen, making Corvus smirk. Corvus and Obi-Wan battle Ventress and Tyen with the two switching targets ever now and again. Corvus battles Ventress before getting in close and raising a knee into her gut, making Ventress fall to her knees. Corvus raises his blade and Tyen sees it before Saber Throwing his lightsaber to block Corvus's blow. The move deflects Corvus's Darksaber, allowing Ventress to stand and kick Corvus back. Corvus sails to the right before engaging Tyen and jumping. While Obi-Wan engages Ventress, Corvus unleashes two skillful strikes but Tyen blocks before unleashing his own strike. Corvus parries before spinning his Darksaber like a buzz saw above his head, making Tyen lean back and flip with the use of his hand. Ventress jumps over Obi-Wan and seeks to end Corvus but instead is hit by Emerald Lightning, making her yell out and fly back. Corvus turns quickly with Tyen finishing his flip and prepares to stab Tyen who blocks but is Force Pushed back by Obi-Wan before rolling to a stop next to Ventress.
"You'll have to do better than that, my dear." Taunts Obi-Wan as Corvus enters his stance. Ventress turns to Tyen who glances at her.
"You handle the boy, Kenobi is mine." States Ventress, making Tyen smirk.
"I was hoping you'd say that." States Tyen before roaring and jumping at Corvus who blocks the attack with Ventress engaging Obi-Wan.
"Ready to join your brothers?" Counters Corvus before the two unleash a flurry of strikes with Tyen flipping, spinning and somersaulting over the place. Corvus narrows his eyes at the style before spinning his Darksaber around his waist, pushing Tyen back. Corvus blocks two fierce blows before spinning his Darksaber in his hands and using a rush attack. Tyen blocks all the attacks before deflecting the last blow and aiming for Corvus's waist. Corvus sees it coming and sucks in his gut and hops back before spinning and twirling his Darksaber as he moves forward. Tyen clashes with Corvus and the two sabers grind against each other.
"Your head will decorate my wall!" Snarls Tyen as he pushes down, making Corvus's legs shake before he ends up on a knee.
"Now you die." States Ventress, making Corvus turn to Obi-Wan who is backed against a pillar. Fay overlaps Obi-Wan's face, making Corvus widen his eyes. He grips his Darksaber with one hand before using the other to break the pillar with the Force. The four warriors separate as the pillar comes crashing down. Obi-Wan uses the Force to retrieve his lightsaber while Tyen lands on top of the pillar. He looks forward to see Corvus back flip and land on the pillar with his Darksaber ignited fully. The two exchange three blows before Corvus spins and hops back. Tyen moves forward with a swing but Corvus flips by it before spinning and attempting an overhead. Tyen blocks it and Force Pushes Corvus back. Corvus hits a wall with a grunt before Tyen comes down with a stab. Corvus jumps over the attack before Tyen turns and swings fiercely. Corvus blocks the blows before Tyen spins and kicks Corvus back. Corvus sails through the air before using his elbow blade to skids to a stop. Tyen is on him again but Corvus blocks before elbowing Tyen and tossing his Darksaber. Tyen jumps over the Darksaber but suffers a double handed Force Push that sends him sailing through a wall. The wall crumbles under the power of the battle.
"HYYYYAAAA!" Shouts Corvus as he comes down with his Darksaber that returns to his hands via the Force. The Darksaber plunges into the ground but Tyen lands behind Corvus who glances back. Tyen jumps and curls into a ball while gathering Force energy. Corvus widens his eyes, knowing the technique turning and bracing himself. Tyen unleashes the Force Repulse and shatters the floor, revealing a lower level. Corvus free falls through the debris before using his left hand to grip some rock and back flip off it to land safely. Tyen comes down with a roar, making Corvus grip some debris and chuck it at the raging Cathar. Tyen maneuvers through the rocks before dashing towards Corvus who blocks his assault before spinning and upper-cutting him with his left hand. Tyen comes back with a head-butt, but groans when his head makes contact with Corvus's helmet. Corvus cocks his head before head-butting Tyen who falls to his back. Corvus stabs his Darksaber downward, but Tyen evades before using his Force Push to send Corvus back. The Force Push is so hard that it sends Corvus sailing back up to the upper level. Corvus lands on his back before Tyen comes down with a slash. Corvus blocks it and the two stare face to face.
"Your head is mine!" Snarls Tyen but Corvus begins to push him back with the use of his Bionic arm. Corvus kicks Tyen back before charging forward and unleashing two devastating strikes that Tyen barely holds back before Corvus swings upward. Tyen's footing breaks as he is near the edge of the hole that leads to the lower levels. As he falls back, he grabs the foot of Corvus who yells as he is pulled down. Corvus falls before hitting a rock and looking up. Tyen comes down, making Corvus uses his left hand to swing up and evade the strike while swinging with his Darksaber. Tyen backflips and lands on the upper level. He then uses the Force to break off three pillars before throwing them at Corvus.
"Fool." States Corvus before focusing on the Force. Corvus, with the use of Battlemind, Battle Meditation, and Force Valor, the latter taught to him by Yoda, jumps at the pillars. He speeds up one pillar before jumping to the other and doing the same thing. He then Force Grips the third pillar and swings it around before tossing it at Tyen who widens his eyes at the move. He holds onto the pillar, allowing him to be propelled up with the pillar. The pillar hits the edge of the hole, sending Tyen falling back before he flips to stand. Corvus comes from under him with an upward slash, cutting Tyen on the chest and making him roar. Corvus lands behind him before spinning his Darksaber and stabbing it into Tyen's back with how own back to Tyen. Corvus pulls the saber out before kicking Tyen to the lower levels.
"Sorry but I like my head where it is." Pants Corvus before his ears pick up lightsaber clashing, "Master." Corvus dashes off through the temple, following the sounds of combat. Corvus spots the two clashing together before Corvus propels himself off the floor and flies at Ventress. Ventress sees him coming but fails to react in time as he grabs her with his left hand and throws her through the ceiling. Corvus lands before joining Obi-Wan in the pursuit of Ventress. Ventress groans before she widens her eyes and looks around.
"You sense it right?" Questions Obi-Wan as he and Corvus land across from the assassin, "Anakin is gone, you've failed Ventress."
"Surrender, this is your only chance." States Corvus, making Ventress yell and charge them both. She connects her lightsaber's into a double bladed lightsaber and attacks in a rush. Corvus counters the well-known attack pattern before severing the middle of the blade.
"Amateur." Scoffs Corvus before clashing with Ventress. Obi-Wan attacks, forcing Ventress to block his attack as well. Due to that, Corvus overpowers her right side and disarms her before kicking her back, "You're master will not be pleased."
"Jedi, scum." Growls Ventress after tapping her wrist. She attacks with Obi-Wan and Corvus easily defending themselves from the attack before Corvus thrusts his hilt into her face, sending her back.
"We've won, there's no point in fighting any longer." States Obi-Wan as Corvus spins his Darksaber and stalks forward. Corvus spots a Vulture droid before Ventress hops off the bridge and onto the droid that flies away with haste.
"Coward." States Corvus as he retracts his Darksaber and puts it on his waist. Obi-Wan walks beside him and pats his shoulder.
"Well done, Padawan." States Obi-Wan with a smile, making Corvus look to him and deactivate his helmet.
"Thank you, master." States Corvus as Teacher and Student walk away.
Weeks Later- Coruscant, Jedi Temple Hanger
Inside the Jedi Hanger, the Junkrat sits with its parts littered around the area. Pan yawns as she sits on a cushion of some kind. Her ears flicker every now and then when she hears welding. Corvus pops his head from the ship with soot over his bare chest. He wears repairmen gloves and boots. He coughs several times before getting off the ship. He turns around and looks at the ship with a smile. It took a lot of work and credits, but the Junkrat is up to his standards. The color of the ship remains the same but appears to be polished and the metal appears to have been replaced.
The Junkrat, features a heavily armored body made to bulldoze through laser fire and cold deep space. It is shielded by state-of-the-art armor plating and its bridge has forward armor plating, and is equipped with advanced, precision flight instruments. It also has a shield generator. The ship much like the Quicksilver, is also fitted with stealth plating, making it difficult to track and unseen on radar. Corvus has tinkered with the engines and replaced them with more, up to date technology. The Junkrat, features numerous upgrades that make it one of the fastest and most nimble ships in the galaxy.
Corvus has also extended its armament. He has kept the laser cannons where they are but has changed them to rotary laser cannons for more fire power. He has also added two more missile batteries located beneath the ship's belly. Two more additional rotary laser cannons have been added to the starboard side of the ship, allowing for more combat versatility. The Junkrat can contend with some of the fastest ships in the galaxy.
"I think I did well, considering what I started with." States Corvus, making Pan yip with her tail wagging.
"Oh no." Mutters a voice, making Corvus turn to see Obi-Wan who steps away from the ship.
"Hey Master, the Junkrat is ready for takeoff!" Cheers Corvus before he sees Obi-Wan walking away with haste.
"No way!" Shouts Obi-Wan, making Corvus gape.
"But I upgraded it!" Complains Corvus as he trails after Obi-Wan.
"No!" States Obi-Wan as Master and Padawan argue.
Coruscant- LiMerge Building
Darth Sidious hums in thought of the recent events. He stalks through the building before arriving at a training ground. Countless droids litter the ground before Sidious stalks forward. He hears laser blasts but pays no mind to them before coming to a stop at the sight of a cloaked figure destroying the last of the droids. He claps his hands loudly, making the figure stops and turn before bowing.
"Your strength returns." States Sidious with a smile, "No… your hatred and pain has made you even stronger than before."
"It is all because of your training, my master." States the figure. Sidious cackles loudly before walking forward.
"I foresee great things with you by my side…, Adag." States Sidious as Adag raises his head. His skin remains red but traces of Dark Side taint move along his face. He also wears a breathing device over his mouth due to his burning by Corvus.
"Yes, my master." States Adag as his eyes glow red.
Adag is back!
