SORRY FOR THE EXTREMLY LATE UPDATE! My grades began to go down and as a result I had to focus a bit more in school. My grades are pretty stable for now. Here's to a new chapter!

I Don't Hate You?
After the wedding Tomoyo and Eriol were sent to Hawaii as a honeymoon present(which both were forced to go). The house felt rather awkward and empty without them. There was also a certain tension in the household but they didn't know what. They were slowly realizing their feelings for one another but were hanging out with other people.
"C'mon Sakura pleeasseeeee~?" Ryu begged his friend
"No Ryu I'm busy maybe later" Sakura said getting a tad bit annoyed at her friend
"Please! Its starting to get boring here!" he complained to Sakura
"Well go play with one of your friends " she complained
"They're all busy" he explained
"Why don't you go with Meilin then?" Sakura responded back
"No way! Why would I ever go out with her" he retorted
"Because you guys need to bond even a bit before getting married" Sakura responded
"I don't even want to marry her...stupid engagement" he grumbled
"Ryu you need to learn to take responsibility for your clan, you are future heir after all" she scolded him
"Responsibilities are too boring" he complained
"That's part of growing up Ryu" Sakura sighed
"But I'm only 18 this is too much" Ryu confessed
"I know it is but you can't stop it from happening " Sakura sighed
"Or can I?" He said and smirked but was punched by a flying object
"You can't!" Kero said dusting himself
"Kero!" Sakura scolded him
"Wow thanks Kero" Ryu responded sarcastically
"Now you have bond with the brat and thats final" Kero told Ryu who only grumbled and left
WITH MEILIN
"What should I do Syaoran?" She asked as she paced around the room
"About what?" He asked as he practiced his sword fighting skills
"About Ryu and the wedding !" She exclaimed
"You know you can't stop it" he responded
"I know but...but...oh I don't know!" Meilin said
"I just don't want to marry a guy who doesn't even like me in the slightest " she said
"Don't worry I'm sure he'll come to and realize your a great girl okay?" He responded as she glomped him
"Thanks Syaoran!" She said before getting off of him
"Ew you're all sweaty "
"Well sorry but Im training so of course I'm sweaty" he responded back sarcastically
"Hate to interrupt you guys but can I talk with Meilin?" Ryu said as he poked his head through the entrance
"Be my guest" Syaoran said as they left the room
"So Meilin do you want to hang out or something" Ryu said as Meilin was surprised
"Where?" was all she asked
"Tokyo tower" he said as he showed her a picture on his phone. It was true that she hadn't gone there for a few years now...
"Sure I"ll go"she responded
"Alright we"ll leave at around 12" he responded and soon left
Lets just say that the Angels were watching them and were very amused
"It's working Sho!" Aira said exclaimed
"Hopefully nothing will mess it up" Sho replied
At that moment Aira and Sho were called for a meeting so they couldn't go and sp- I mean check up on them. They decided to get some help from some friends named Rhythm and Hibiki.
"So you want us to spy on them?" Rhythm asked
"Yep"
"But why?" Hibiki asked
"So that nothing can interfere with the plan" So explained
"Thanks again guys!" Aira said before they left
"This should be fun Rhythm" Hibiki smiled as she smirked
"Let's go darling!" she said as they transported to Earth
On Earth
Sakura gave Ryu some tips on what Meilin may like on their date while Ryu didn't want to see it as a date. Syaoran was stuck with helping Meilin pick her outfit although he clearly had no desire in doing so
The time finally came and Ryu waited for Meilin in front of the door for them to leave. Meilin finally arrived, grabbing his hand and leaving in a rush knowing that her dear friend Sakura would take picture of them.
Ryu made sure to follow all of Sakura's instructions:
1) Do NOT flirt with any other girl, he resisted the urge
2) Take her out for authentic Chinese food, he liked the food too so there wasn't much of a fight over it
3) Buy her flowers or an accessory!, he decided to buy her a red hair ornament to which she blushed when receiving it
4) Make her feel special, the hardest part to Ryu...
Rhythm and Hibiki were spying on them while going on their own little date. While doing so they couldn't help but feel like someone else was following them as well a dark force perhaps, and they weren't wrong.
When Ryu and Meilin finally entered Tokyo tower Hibiki and Rhythm followed them but they realized that the place had less people than it usually does. It was almost empty.
Ryu and Meilin shrugged it off and went on the elevator and proceeded to go up to the top floor. Ryu couldn't help but admire her beauty. He sweared that he was blushing.
Rhythm and Hibiki transported to the top floor and watched then through a mirror. When they exited the elevator there was no one on the top floor...except Rhythm and Hibiki who they spotted
"What are you guys doing here!?" they said shocked
" Oh well we um we..." Hibiki said not knowing what to say
" We-We're on a date!" Rhythm said grabbing his hand
" Hey... isn't it weird that there's no one on this floor" Ryu said looking around. It was empty which was weird if it was a great tourist attraction.
"You're right" Hibiki agreed
"I feel a dark presence" Rhythm said soon after
"What do we do?" Meilin asked
"We should get out of here" Ryu said and they walked to the elevator but when they pressed the button it electrocuted them
"What the hell?" Meilin said. The lights turned off causing them to jump. Whatever was happening was seriously creepy. Some of the lights came back on pointing to a door that they had not noticed before
"Do we go to the door?" Rhythm said as they stared at it
"Well based on on the horror movies I've watched most of the time when a random door appears and people go through it it usually gets locked or disappears..." Hibiki stated
" So that's a no" Ryu confirmed " Is there another way out?" he said as they looked around
'We could always take them to the Angle World and the bring them home' Rhythm told Hibiki telepathically
'That can be dangerous Rhythm. Lets just try to look for another exit for now' he responded
"Lets look for another way" Hibiki said
"How are we going to see in this place?" Rhythm said before Meilin and Ryu turned on their phone's flashlights
"With these" they said at the same time while he others 'ohed'
"They aren't going what do we do now fucker" a female voice told the other dark force next to her
"Calm down bitch I'll make sure they go in. We will destroy Fate and Destiny's work again" he told her
"This time we'll make sure their relationship is destroyed for good this time" she laughed wickedly
It felt like hours as they walked in complete darkness. There was nothing. They couldn't even find the windows or anything. The only thing there was were the lights and the eerie door.
They refused to open the door or even enter it because every time they approached it the temperature seemed to drop and they felt as if someone was watching them
"THAT'S IT! I AM SENDING A MONSTER THEIR WAY!" the female voice yelled in anger as her patience was long gone
The ground began to rumble and the remaining lights began to flicker at a rapid speed
"What's happening?!" Meilin said in a panic
"I don't know but it doesn't sound good!" Ryu responded
The ground began to shake and a blue light approached them. A giant white fox like creature with golden eyes and a blue fire surrounding it ran to them in an alarming speed. As it got closer the sound of chains became more audible.
" What do we do!?" Rhythm asked
" RUN!" Hibiki said as they began to run from the beast. It was a good thing they were all the most physically fit out of their friends too
"What is that thing?!" Ryu asked as they ran
" I think its a guardian animal " Hibiki said
" Guardian of what?" Meilin asked
" Guardian of the gates to our world" Rhythm clarified
" Why is it chasing us then!" Ryu demanded
" That's what I'd like to know" Rhythm said. Meilin turned around and saw that the beast had a black collar and chains
" If its a guardian why does it have a collar and chains" Meilin said. As she said that she tripped and the fox was heading towards her
"AHHH!" she screamed. Ryu ran towards her and grabbed her hand, lifting her up and ran faster away from it
"T-Thanks Ryu" Meilin said a bit flustered
" Thank goodness you guys are alright" Rhythm said and they continued to run
"We can't keep running forever" Ryu stated
" You're right for once. We'll die of exhaustion if we try" Meilin said
" Hey Meilin remember what you said earlier about the chains?" Hibiki asked
"Yeah... What about it?" Meilin said
" Guardian animals are not supposed t have any chains on them... or blue fire surrounding them" he said
" He could be possessed in that case" Ryu said
" Yep and I think I know what's possessing him" Rythm stated
" Where? If we brake it maybe it will go back to normal" Meilin said excited
"The collar, its the source of the negative energy" Rhythm said
" We need an powerful sword or something" Hibiki asked
" I think I can help with that" Meilin said taking out her necklace 'He was bound to find out someday' she thought
" Release!" she commanded as her necklace turned into her magical staff. She didn't notice Ryu's amazed look. She took out one of her sun cards before throwing it in the air and hitting it with her staff
"Sword!" Meilin commanded and her staff turned into a sword
"This sword can cut through anything" she explained " We just need it to stop chasing us for some time"
"Leave that to me" Ryu said taking out his pendant
"Taiyo" he said and his pendant turned into a sword. He took out a piece of paper and with the sword began to write " Freeze " on it. Once it was done he grabbed it launched it to the fox who froze. With his sword he made sure the paper didn't move
" Do it now Meilin!" Ryu commanded
"R-Right " she said still a bit shocked . She ran to the fox and jumped on it. Once she was on she cut through the collar with her sword and it let out a cry pushing back Meilin and Ryu.
Rhythm and Hibiki ran to them. As they did the fox's blue fire turned white and it seemed more... Free.
" Thank you for rescuing me" it told them startling Meilin and Ryu
" Guardian who did this to you?" Hibiki asked it
" I cannot recall who or what did it... However what I do remember is that they are part of the Angel world and it was not just one entity" it answered them
" Do you think you can help us out of here?" Rhythm asked and the guardian chuckled
" Hop on" he said and they climbed on them. His fur was actually very silky and smooth. The guardian jumped and a portal appeared before them.
As they traveled through the portal they realized there were pictures and videos of their lives
" This is the record of your life so far" the guardian explained " From your childhood to now"
Meilin saw a picture of her as a child, the first time she started learning martial arts, her and Syaoran , her with Sakura and Tomoyo, and one with the angels
Ryu saw a picture of him and his parents, him with Sakura, picture of him with countless other girls, training with Syaoran and Eriol.
Rhythm and Hibiki's was especially long but they were focused more on when they met Aira, Mion, Sho and Wataru . Then when they met one another, when they "finally became friends and when they started dating.
One that caught Meilin and Ryu's attention was one where they were both together in the same Elementary school uniform
"We knew each other?" Meilin whispered
" I think I'd remember if we did" Ryu responded. He tapped the picture and it began to play
Young Sakura was talking with young Ryu. It seemed like she was giving him words of encouragement
"Do your best and tell her Ryu!" Sakura told the boy
"But what if she doesn't like me?" Ryu asked her nervously
" Everything will surely turn out alright" Sakura smiled gently before pushing him to where a young Meilin was waiting
"Hey Ryu what's up?" Meilin asked and grinned
"Actually Meilin I want to tell you something" Ryu said not looking at her
"What is it Ryu?" Meilin asked having a confused face.
" Well... The truth is I like... No. I love you Meilin!" Ryu said with a flustered face and Meilin smiled. She went to hug him
"I love you too dummy" Meilin said as they continued in their embrace. Little did they know that Tomoyo and Eriol were recording it from afar and Syaoran watched them from the tree above them
"I don't get it... How could neither of us remember this?" Meilin asked
" Uhhhh... We'll ask Aira and Sho later" Hibiki said
" Yep! I'm sure they'll know" Rhythm laughed it off
The guardian finally summonsed another portal and they were in front of their house " Thank you for everything Mr. Guardian" Meilin said as she and Ryu got off and they bowed
"See you later!" Rhythm said as she, Hibiki and the fox disappeared
"This was the strangest date I've been on" Ryu laughed
" I have a question" Meilin said as they stood in front of the door
"What?" Ryu asked standing in front of her
"So does this mean... I don't hate you?!" Meilin asked confused as ever " No " Ryu said and went down to kiss her on the lips
" It means you ... No. We love each other" Ryu grinned causing Meilin to blush. They entered the house holding hand, as reunited lovers.
Thats it! I made this chapter extra long as an apology . Meilin and Ryu have found out the truth but who is behind this? I think most of you already know but please comment who you guys think is the one responsible for this. Hopefully my next update won't be so late. Remember : Dream goes on forever
