Naruto and Hikari were cautious about heading to the other side of town. The enhanced Byakugan from Sakura's charka control being far greater then Hinata's meant that she could see far more then any other Hyuga could.

"Look Naruto, when we get there we can not let our guard down. I do not have full control over my body yet so I need for you to handle most of the heavy lifting if it come to that, understood" she told him.

This was true as she could not control her strength fully so it would be dangerous to attack someone while in this state. What if she hit them too hard and it killed them as result of being hit too hard or something.

"Hikari" he told her

"What is it? We need to come with a plan that keep you….ummm…us safe if things come down to that" came her reply

"Seriously Hikari" he said

"What are you…..oh" was all she was able to say as the person they were going to look for was standing right behind Naruto.

The two did not know anything about this person and they had managed to get behind them so effortless. Almost like it was utter child's play for this them. Of course this only cause them to wonder even more about this person and though Hikari wanted to just stay right there and think about this before acting.

"Interesting that you are about to hold yourself back despite me behind, him like this. You are certainly managing yourselves well making you a rather interesting fusion" they said "oh and by the way I am not neither your enemy nor am I exactly your ally either. You can see me as more of a neutral third party rather curious about those earrings you are wearing"

Hikari did not know what to make of this and was taking this calm as she could at the moment. Even though within her mind there were two inners scream different things at the moment. One with short hair that was being the voice of reason and second with long hair that was quick to start a fight because they were endangering Naruto. Having suddenly snuck up on them like this as they could have been part of the group that attack them both and cause them to become a fusion in the first place. However if that were the case then why did not they attack when they had the chance.

" Are you okay, Hikari" Naruto asked as she just was standing there without moving for prolong period of time.

"Seems that this might be one of her weakness as that is what happens when you make fusions like this. Seriously that was not the purpose of those earrings but then again it been so long. Thus none of us even know their real purpose. That being the reason I been traveling in the first place to find out" the person said.

Them talking about the situation like they were ever aware of what was going on did cause Naruto to question their claim about being a neutral third party. Seeing this the person decide to explain things to them a bit as they had an idea of who these two were and why they were out here. Their goals aligned so prevent a misunderstanding explain would be needed.

Back at the place Naruto and Hikari were staying at…..

"Huh where am I" Hikari said as she snapped out of the daze she was in

"Welcome back as I was wondering when you would come to" she heard.

Naruto then show up prevent her from attack Higa(he introduced himself as) so that he could get around to explain what he knew about her being a fusion.

"Those earrings you are wearing are what called Potara Earrings but are not the exact same as typical ones that normally exist. They are slightly different as they have been copied from a pair that were stolen from me that just so happened to be a real pair and not one of the fakes that I was selling" Higa said

"You were selling these" both of them yelled.

"Yeah I was as they are harmless when they are fakes and even the real ones are harmless as long as one person has both of them on themselves. A real pair is only consider dangerous when two different people wear them as the result is what known as a Potara Fusion. A type of fusion that will happen when two different people wear one earring from a set" Higa told them.

"How do you know this" Hikari asked

Higa then explained that potara earrings were standard issue for his kind and their attendants. So much so that they had even forgotten the purpose of what they could do. He had been traveling the around for a long time in search of that reason as why was something so powerful and in way dangerous being treated like just a common accessory. While they were traveling Higa was selling fakes to cover travel expenses and also see if they could catch the attention of anyone that knew what they were.

Have come here once before and was actually on a return trip to come visit someone that they had helped out in the past. Their real pair of potara earrings someone got mixed in with the fakes and now talks of fusions were appeared here and there. Although the type and how they were acting was strange and nothing like Higa knew normally.

"So someone took your pair, alter them, and are now reproducing them on their own" Naruto asked

"That seem to be the case as it as while I have learned a lot about them over the years. There many things I do not know about them and making them is one of those things. Creating them is something none of my kinds knows how to do as we are merely given them one day and we never questioned where they came from. For at time we just thought them as mere accessories and that is it" Higa said.

"So should we return to Konoha now as we have someone that knows about what going on to degree and what if the people after me come back" Hikari said.

"Come to think of it how did you managed to get her to become like this as others created through their potara earrings are nothing like this. Sure she is not a typical potara fusion as she has some quirks and kinks typical ones do not but is far closer to being normal then other fusion I have seen made from my stolen pair of potara earrings" Higa asked.

"The idiot that was suppose to capture her instead left her open to me having control over her. So I used that control to give her back her free will and ability to think for herself" Naruto told him.

"Well I was heading towards Konoha eventually as that where the person I was going to visit is. If I am with you two they probably be more willingly to see me though" Higa said.
