I generally felt like a poet when I wrote this. If you don't understand it then message me and I will explain.
Merlin was in total darkness, falling through an eternal pit of nothing, feeling no pain, suffering or torment. He could hear no evil, see no evil, or speak or evil, it was bliss. No lingering fear of death hanging over his head day after day, he could breath again for the first time, not having to worry about everything.
'I never want this to end' Merlin thought
'I just want to keep falling, to never hit the ground of this Earth, to be able to be finally free. I I want to be able to stand on a cliff, watch the sun rise over the shining blue see giving the effect of stars floating on the waters of life in freedom not in chains of responsibility while in darkness. But all good things must come to an end and we must all hit the ground of the Earth once again. Darkness is bliss but will always cease to exist in the face of light'.
'Light' Merlin thought
'Light, what people think is pure, beautiful and gives hope. Oh, how they are wrong, Light is nothing but an illusion of pure, in reality it is control. It is unforgiving and brutal, it controls mankind without our acknowledgement, Light tells us when to wake and when to sleep, How long before we live and marks down the days till death. It controls our hunger and takes the air from our lungs in exhaustion. Light is the death of man'.
'Magic is the bliss of darkness and the control of light. It creates a utopia for men who play God with the stars of fate, to be able to change stars with the whisper of a word created by that of man. It enables a man of mortal blood to feel the truth of power, not the lie of a king. When we hear of power our eyes deceive us with images of a crown and not eyes of gold.
'Eventually we must all walk into the light and use eyes of gold to find the truth of power'
Merlins eyes flew open and the sight that greeted him made him want to scream.
