This is a story about an older Gail and Holly but not much wiser for it and chronicles what happens when their life together takes a major detour and the struggles they face in trying to reclaim the love they once had. This story takes place a few years after my other story Wrecking Ball and includes sub-plots for Steve, Tracey and Chris.

10. Story Break

Dearest readers

I hope you all realise by now how much I appreciate your views and comments for all of my fiction and without you I could never write with such enthusiasm and delight. However, as you have probably noticed by now, I have not been updating my latest storyline at my usual pace and this is just not acceptable in my books.

I have hit another hurdle with this story.

This time in the form of my laptop dying, kicking the bucket as they call it, with my latest chapter completed and edited on it. I've thought about just rewriting the chapter and have sat down for the past week, trying to do just that, but as many of you know with writing. Rewriting a chapter is the hardest thing in a story to do. The chapter is just never the same and a lot of what initially drove the first chapter gets lost in the rewrite.

So, I've sent the laptop to the shop. I'm hoping to hear good news on it, but for now I will take a pause and focus on dealing with my other distractions and when I'm able I'll be back to writing this story for you.

PS …the viewing issue , when I originally posted this, was because I wrote and stored the info on a cloud document application. Which when I copied and pasted, converted it to the scribbles you saw. Sorry about that. I'm going to look for a new cloud to write on.
