Ty runs a hand through his hair. "Makxin said we can pick from two quests for our first official quest…" Archaia buts in. "Who is Makxin?" She's the village elder." "Oh." "Anyway so we can pick from two quests the first one is to get five mountain herbs…" Maceian looks upset. "We are not ever going after mountain herbs again." Archaia looks smug. "But it turned out fine last time." "No." "If it happens again we can just have Ty…" "No." "But he can fly now." "No." "Just for the record I could always fly." "See, you would be perfectly fine." "I said no." Ty smacks his hand into his face. "Achaia just leave it, anyway the other quest and the one that we will probably be taking, because Maceian is a scaredy lyne…" "Hey!" "Is the anteka horn delivery quest."

|The Sacred Rock|

"Alright Makxin we've picked the anteka quest" Ty says. Makxin taps her cane "You two can go on ahead I have to talk to your leader for a minute." "Anything you can say to me, you can say to my team." Makxin narrows her eyes "Are you absolutely sure?" Ty stands resolutely "Yes." Makxin sighs "Very well, you two should think very hard about how much trust your leader puts in you." Archaia and Maceian look upset. "Ty how should I put this, I have an armor charm that will help to contain your "gift", no earthquakes, no hurricanes, no fires, but it will severely limit your strength." Ty begins walking thought the quest gate. "Don't worry I'll be careful." No, wait! Ergh that boy may be an excellent hunter, but he's as impatient as a child."

|Snowy Mountains Foothills|

"Alright great job team, now all we have to do is get these horns back to base camp." Two hunters with large golden Gs painted on the right side of their armor approach at a frantic pace. "Team name, titles, and rank!" shouts the one on the left. "Heroes of Ice: Beast of Pokke, Low-Rank 1: special class!" "Heroes of Ice: Sniper of Heaven!" "Heroes of Ice: Green Killer!" "What are you rookies still doing here don't you know that there was an elder dragon right here in this area!" "What makes you say that?" "One of Grant's armor skills is detect." Ty begins backing away slowly, but subtly. Maceian points up the mountain" Actually, I think I saw a shadow go that way when we entered the mountain." "Thank you. You rookies should go somewhere safe." The elites run off towards the mountains" Maceian shakes his head "Come on Ty. Let's get you out of here before they come back.

|The Sacred Rock|

Makxin hit Ty in the head with her cane for the second time "You idiot if that hunter had had autotracker you would have been found out! This is what I was trying to tell you earlier, if you contain your abilities with this charm not even autotracker will be able to find you. Now you are going to take this armor charm, you are going to go home, and you are going to equip it. And you two are going to go with him and make sure he does it" "Yes Ma'am!"

|Guild Hall Canteen|

Archaia looks to be about to cry on Maceian's behalf. "Have you ever thought about us that way?" Ty asks. "No, that's why I'm glad you are my friends, I can't read you, and it makes me feel almost normal, but now I know why I can't read Ty at least. I have absolutely no chance of killing our Little Arashiha Ikari" A hunter just returning from a quest walks up to them "Arashiha Ikari? I've never heard of that monster. Is it an elder dragon?" "No, it's just something I made up. Now shoo." The hunter walks away and Ty slams his head on the table. "We have got to find a better place to talk."

|Walking up to Ty's house|

Ty watches as a child is riding on Gakusha's back "Ya know I think the villagers are starting to warm up to the chikage." There is a calico felyne standing outside Ty's house. Archaia looks at Ty. "You know, come to think of it why is your house so big?" Ty looks at her strangely. "It's not my house I just sort of woke up there after I got knocked of the cliff by a tigrex, and…" "Um, excuse mreow" Interrupts the felyne. "I've come to apply as one of the cooks for the hunter's dorm." "Dorm! You mean we've been sleeping in shacks while Ty has been living the high life." "Your leader should have told you about it." "But no one told me that this was a dorm" "It should have been all right there in the beginners guide in your Item chest." "Oh that explains it I can't read." Archaia still looks angry, but Maceian laughs. "At least we have a place to talk now without people hearing all of our secrets." Ty and Archaia look shocked that Maceian is laughing, But Maceian continues. "Felyne what is your name?" "M-my name? my name is Shamisen." Ty gives an odd look. Maceian gives the felyne a deadly glare. "I hope you realize that everything you hear us say in this dorm is to stay in this dorm." "*Gulp* Ye-yessir." Maceian smiles. "Good, then we will get along great, welcome to the team." Shamisen looks frightened (He's scary.)

So what do you think? I threw in a noodle incident, and a reference. We got to learn a little more about Maceian and Ty got nerfed I've had Ty's power down grade on my to-do list since the conception of this story, because I vowed never to have a mary sue, but don't worry he still has powers just not his super strength. I'll elaborate on what those powers are in future chapters. By the way I think I mentioned a reference in here.
