AN: Sorry guys, I have to apologize, because I mentioned three things in the last chapter that were a mistake. I mentioned a character that hadn't been introduced yet. I mentioned the Beast, without telling y'all where it came from. It's the giant truck that was in the garage of Dawn's home, and Duncan has been using it. I mentioned Duncan had a job, but that hasn't happened yet. The last chapter, and the chapter after this one were switched, because I felt like the pacing was better this way, but now I've kinda messed that up. So, I'll be uploading two chapters of CC to make up for it… Okay, the truth is, I really just went into overdrive and ended up writing more than one chapter, and I figured why make y'all wait for another chapter. I also decided to wait, and rewrite this whole chapter at the last minute, because I didn't like how it turned out. Another apology going out.

I smiled as Dawn, and I finished making sandwiches for the beach trip. We're also bringing hot dogs, and hamburgers to make while we're there. "Uhh, babe. Where did Mona say the grill was?"

"She said it was in the garage." She answered me.

"Oh, I should've thought of that." I said, as I walked out of the kitchen, and out the door. I spotted Mike, Zoey, and B trying to load more stuff into his GTO. "Guys. You can put stuff in the beast, Dawn, and I have already put our stuff in, and there's still room. Let me get it out" They looked at me, like they had completely forgotten about the truck in the garage, then started pulling stuff out of the car.

I got in the truck, and started it. I let it sit for a bit to warm up, then I backed out of the garage, and parked next to B's car.

"Thanks, Duncan." Mike said, and I waved, as I walked into the garage to find the grill. I found it, along with some mesquite, so the food would have a better flavor to it.

After we got everything packed into the truck, and B's car, we set off for the beach.

"Duncan?" Dawn said to me.

"Yeah?"

"Perhaps, we can go for a walk on the beach?"

"Of course. We're gonna be there already, so we might as well." I said, and she smiled.

It was about two hours, before we got to the beach. Once we arrived, I threw on some shades to hide my eyes, but left my hair alone since the green was faded and had been mostly cut out, then setup the grill, so I could start cooking stuff, while everyone else went to go change in the dressing rooms.

"How do I look?" Dawn said from behind me, and when I turned to look at her, my jaw dropped. She was in the bikini she basically modeled for me at the mall, but for some reason it looked so much better now that she was on a beach.

"You look amazing, babe." I said, as I put my arms around her waist.

"Hey, you two. Keep the lovey dovey stuff at home." Zoey said.

Dawn, and I let go of each other, and I saw her face turn red, and I think I might've done the same.

Huh, I never got embarrassed before.

I left some stuff cooking, and went to the dressing rooms. Right before I went in, I heard a yell coming from the women's entrance, and sounded like it was getting closer. It was Gwen, with a crab stuck to her foot.

"AAAGGGHH." We collided with each other, and ended up on the floor.

I looked over at her, and she was wincing, while rubbing her head, and the crab was crawling away from her. I got up to my feet, and ran back to our spot as fast as I could, but I could hear something faint come from.

"Thanks." She said, but I could barely hear her, as I kept running.

Why is she here!? What the fuck is going on!?

Before I could get back to our spot, I encountered a crap load of people dressed weirdly, some chicks with purple hair, guys with big fake looking swords, then I started to see people dressed like everyone from the show. Some of them were perfect, and others were completely off.

"What the-what the hell!?"

"Hey! You!" I turned around to see Gwen calling me, and I froze. "You ran off so fast, that I didn't get the chance to ask, but are you with a group?"

"A group?" I said, as she got closer, and I noticed it wasn't really Gwen, just a chick who looked a lot like her, I guess, and now that I actually listened to her, I can tell her voice is higher pitched than Gwen's.

"Yeah, a cosplay group. You can't tell me you're just a guy who looks like Duncan, and just happened to be here." She smirked.

"Uhh, I don't know what that is."

"It's where you dress up like your favorite character from a show, video game, or comic book. There's even people that dress up like animals."

"That's kind of weird, why the hell would I want to do that?"

"Because it's fun!" She shouted. "I'm Sherry."

"Uhh, I'm Du-Donnie."

"Well, it's nice to meet you Du-Donnie." She laughed. "Donnie. Are you seriously not here for the convention?"

"What convention?"

"C'mon, you've gotta be kidding me! The big comic convention that's going on at the hotel right over there!" She pointed to a nearby hotel, and I could see people dressed in all kinds of costumes flooding out of the doors. "There's a Total Drama panel with the original cast going on tonight, and there's also a cosplay contest. My group is missing our Duncan, and I was hoping you could fill in. Your eyes are perfect by the way, only thing missing is the hair."

"Duncan?" I heard Dawn's voice, and Sherry, and I looked over to see my girlfriend, along with all our friends.

"I thought you said you had no idea?" Sherry said.

I looked back at her. "Uh, you got me. We came to the beach, before the convention."

I turned to Dawn, and walked over. "Hey babe."

"Duncan, is that Gwen?" Zoey whispered.

"Nah, it's some girl pretending to be her." I whispered back. "There's some costume thing going down at the hotel over there, and a panel, or something with the original cast."

"Oh! we should go say hi!" Zoey shouted.

"Shut up!" I half yelled. "I can't go remember, I'm missing."

"Oh right, but it wouldn't be a problem if everyone thought you were just in costume, right?"

"Do you want to go?" Dawn asked me.

"I don't know. I do, but then I don't."

"But wouldn't you like to see everyone?"

"Not really." I lied. I did actually wanna see how everyone was doing. "But I guess it couldn't hurt." I looked back at Sherry who was just standing there awkwardly. "Hey, Sherry?"

"Yeah?" She perked up.

"Got room for them?" I pointed at Dawn, Mike, Zoey, and B.

"Sure!" She shouted.

After I introduced everyone to Sherry, under the name's Donna, Matt, Rose, and Kyle, which I seriously pulled out of my ass, Zoey got her number, and we decided we'd meet up with her group later, and went back to our spot.

"Babe, can you grab me a drink?" I asked Dawn, as I put the burger patties onto a plate.

"Of course." She said, then walked over to the cooler. She handed me the drink, and i gave her a kiss in exchange.

"What did I say earlier?" Zoey said from her spot in the water, and I smirked, and flipped the bird at her, then heard all three of them laughing.

I pulled away from Dawn a little, and admired her features. She started to blush, and tried to pull away from me, but I squeezed my arms around her.

"Hey, babe." I said.

"Yes?"

"Oh nothing!" I shouted, as I lifted her onto my shoulder, and carried her to the water.

"Duncan!" She shouted, and laughed. I jumped in with her on my shoulder still, and Mike, Zoey, and B came over to us, and started a splash war.

After we all got soaked for a bit, we went back to our spot to eat.

A few hours later, we got dressed in our regular clothes, and decided to head out to the hotel. Zoey called up Sherry, and she told us to meet her by the hotel entrance.

"Hey guys!" Sherry shouted at us, and we walked over to her, then she introduced everyone.

"Guys, this is Donnie as Duncan, Donna as Dawn, Rose as Zoey, Matt as Mike, and Kyle as B."

"This is my group, Jerry as Trent, Tommy as Geoff, Joanna as Bridgette, and of course I'm Gwen… Wait, Where's Cassandra?"

"I'm here!" A girl dressed, as Courtney came running. "Sorry I'm late."

"It's okay." Sherry said to the girl, then turned back to us. "That's Casandra as Courtney, we actually just met her today too."

I was startled a bit by this girl, who looked, and sounded just like Courtney. The resemblance was too perfect, and she definitely made Sherry look like an amateur.

"Wow, you know Duncan has a mohawk, right?" The Fake Courtney said.

Well, her complaining is spot on.

"Yeah, I know, but i decided to dress as Duncan, from a few years in the future." I said smoothly, and the Courtney girl scoffed.

"I have something to fix that!" Sherry shouted, and pulled something out of her bag. It was a tube of gel that also colored your hair, in a bright green. I slapped the green crap on, and shifted my hair into my old hairstyle.

"How do I look, babe?" I asked Dawn.

"Perfect." She answered.

We all walked into the hotel together, and I realized how big this convention actually was. All over the place were booths of all kinds. Some for anime, video games, and comic books, others for movies, and TV shows.

In one corner of the hotel was a ballroom with a Total Drama sign above it. We went in, and heard Harold in the middle of a beatbox session. I looked around the ballroom, and could see pretty much every one who was on the show at least twenty times.

"Booyah." Harold said, then walked back to his seat. There was only about half the cast in the panel seats along with him. Gwen, Trent, Geoff, Bridgette, Leshawna, Tyler, Lindsay, Cody, Sierra, Owen, Katie, and Sadie. I'm not surprised Courtney wasn't here. I'm pretty sure she was still trying to sue Chris again anyway.

"Damn, I think we missed the Q&A." Sherry said.

That old chick that entered halfway through season 3 came onto the stage with a mic, what's her name uh… Blaineley!. "Okay everybody! Now it's time for the cosplay contest!" She said, and the crowd cheered. "The first round will be a scene contest between Duncan, and Courtney.

"Booo!" Some people in the crowd yelled. "Not Courtney!" Someone said loudly, to my left, and when I looked in that direction, I saw Cassandra looking pretty pissed off.

What's that about.

Settle down everyone. Now let's see, Gwen pick the best Duncan, and the best Courtney."

Gwen looked into the crowd, and after a bit of looking locked eyes with me. "I pick those two." Gwen said, and pointed at Cassandra, and I.

"I am not going up there." Cassandra said.

"C'mon!" Sherry said. "Donnie, talk some sense into her."

"I don't know, what do you think babe?" I asked Dawn.

"You should go." She told me with a smile.

"Alright." I said to her, and gave her a kiss, before turning back to Cassandra. "It could be fun. Let's give it a shot."

She looked at me disapprovingly, but then started walking towards the stage. Once we got up there, Blaineley handed us scripts, and gave us a few minutes to read it.

"I don't think Courtney would say stuff like this." Cassandra said.

I looked over at her, and I smirked. "Yeah, I don't think Duncan would say shit like this either."

"How's your acting?" She asked.

"I don't know. Decent I guess."

"Okay, because I will not allow you to embarrass me." She said. This chick was starting to sound like Courtney more, and more.

We walked on to the stage, and a wave of cheers, and boos swept through.

"Hello, Delinquent." She said with a glare.

Hello, Princess." I said. "May I say you're looking smoking hot today."

"Ughh. You may not."

"Okay, how about this. You're are rather complainy today."

"That's not even a word, you neanderthal."

She says it so perfectly. She's gotta be an actress.

"Whatever, I know you dig me, so how about you just admit it already."

"Shut up! I would never be attracted to a delinquent"

"Keep lying to yourself, sweetheart."

"I am not lying!" she said, and I stepped closer. "Stay away from me, you pig."

"C'mon Princess, you, and I both know you can't resist me."

"I think I just threw up in my mouth a bit." She said, and pretended to gag.

"Sure, Princess." I said then grabbed her arm, and pulled her towards me. "I know I'm all you think about." I said, then edged myself closer to her, brining our faces near each other.

"Duncan." She said, and chills went up my spine, and for a second I wanted to kiss her, but then…

Nothing. No feeling. No emotion. It was like looking at Courtney didn't make me want to grab her, and never let go anymore. I realized the only person I get that way with now is Dawn.

What the hell?

I quickly pulled away from her, and walked off the stage. The crowd began cheering, and clapping, so I guess we were that good. I got back to Dawn, and wrapped my arms around her.

"So how was that?" I asked her.

"You could be an actor, if you had to act as yourself." She said a little sarcastically. A few of my tendencies have grown on her in the past few months.

"Wow! Donnie you were awesome!" Sherry shouted, and Cassandra walked back over.

"Why did you walk away?" Cassandra asked.

"I thought it was the perfect way to end it, you know, leaving Courtney wanting." I said.

A few hours passed, and the convention was finally shutting down, and we all left the hotel.

After saying bye to Sherry, and the others, we walked back to our spot on the beach, and a full moon was out.

"Did you enjoy yourself, Duncan?" Dawn asked, as we walked hand in hand on the beach

"Yeah, I did, but I think I would rather be alone with you." I told her, and she smiled.

"How did it feel to see your old friends?"

"It was alright, but I can say at least one good came from this."

"That is?"

"I'm finally over Courtney… Because I have you, my Dawn."

She looked at me with her beautiful eyes, then pulled me down by my hand, and gave me the most passionate kiss I've ever had.

It was a perfect moment, and I felt like I never wanted it to end.
