Tezuka sighed at the message. Atobe and Fuji did leave of their own accord, once their affairs have been revealed. He simply closed his phone and got dressed for the party today.
KEISUKE'S PARTY'S A SCAVENGER HUNT AND I'M THE PRIZE. COME AND FIND ME, BASTARDS. –R
"R's definitely invited to the party, Mitsu." Sanada showed him the text.
Tezuka nodded. "Let's go." They left the apartment. At least they can enjoy themselves while finding out who R really is.
Shalnark sat on the sofa waiting for his friends, staring blankly at the picture that is across the room. A thin, knifelike sunlight cut across the room and then disappears, Shalnark knew that the sun is about to set. Just then, there were footsteps, and his friends came out. He noted that the girls dressed particularly carefully. Shizuka's dressed in dark grey pants flared at the ankles, a navy blue cardigan beneath a beige jacket. Her hair was let loose, and she put it up in a dark brown hairband that matches her eyes. Ringo was wearing a Sweet Pea Pink Lace dress. She was moaning about the fact that Shizuka wouldn't let her wear the Periwinkle Frilly Doll dress. Shalnark, having seen the dress before, thought it looked very childish, and it is fit for a doll. Pakunoda was wearing a Royal Blue Bubble Hem dress. Her hair is let loose, and she looked great.
"Alright? Ready? Let's go." Ryoma said, as he checked that his contact lenses are in place. He noticed Feitan was staring at Shizuka again.
"You look gorgeous." said Feitan.
"Why thank you," Shizuka said, and bobbed a curtsey. "You don't look so bad yourself."
She tip-toed and kissed Feitan on the cheek. Feitan blushed as he felt his heart explode.
They all piled in the car, with Feitan (still blushing) driving them to the place, while Shizuka is telling him the directions. Feitan turned down a road they never seen before and made a right turn into a winding driveway. At the end of the driveway, surrounded by trees, is a large, two-story house. They could hear the music before they reached the house. They parked at the side, and walked to the front door. The door opened into the foyer, where at the side, there was a long table filled with refreshments. They had to yell to be heard over the loud music. People are dancing in the living room. There are cans of beers in some of their hands, and others drinking bottled water or soda.
Keisuke welcomed them, and told them that he is glad that they could come, shaking every one of their hands.
"Enjoy yourself. Refreshments are at the foyer, if you need the toilet, it's at the second floor, second room from the left."
"Thanks." Shalnark said to him.
"I think the lovers are already here. If only I know where." said Feitan.
"Try giving them a message."

Sure enough, with Ryoma's sharp hearing, he saw Fuji at the corner of the room. He was looking around to see who had a phone in his hand. Feitan hastily placed the phone back in his pocket. "I'll try to throw him off." He said. He took a little plate of food, and went up to Fuji. "Here, you've got to take a minute to eat something, or you're going to pass out. What are you doing clutching to your phone like that anyway?"
"Oh…thanks." Fuji took the plate of food and ate what's in it. He gave a nod to Shizuka.

Sure enough, they heard ringing from four different phones. Ryoma, Shalnark and Shizuka went to the remaining three phones.
Fuji choked on the piece of shrimp cocktail he was eating, when he read the message.
"What? Did your mum want you back or something?"
"No, not exactly…it's just my friend, asking me about...homework!"
"Right…" Feitan said.
Feitan, being 'sympathetic', gave Fuji a glass of water. "Just relax for tonight, alright? It's a party, not a studying night." He smiled, and walked away to meet his friends.
Fuji got an idea, and he replied to one of the messages. Sure enough, he heard the phone ring from the left. He caught a glimpse of black coat, and he pushed through the crowd to get to that person.
The person happened to be heading towards the refreshment table, and as Fuji approached the tureen of fruit that is sitting in ice to keep it chilled, there is a message on the ice. Although the message is now wet, he still could make out the words.
YOU'RE GETTING COLDER. –R
Ryoma stood at the side, heaving a sigh of relief. He was nearly caught by Fuji. He then caught up to Shalnark, who was talking to Atobe earlier.
"Did you place that?"
He nodded.
Ringo was trying to find her friends, as she pushed through the crowd. What she did not know was that on the way to approaching them, she dropped something that would be a clue to find out who R is. A tiny, black hairpin had fallen out of her hair, and fell to the ground with a clatter.
Nearby, Atobe let out a yelp, which was drowned out. Someone attached a note to the box that contained super glue and a glass heart that was shattered to pieces.
DEAR KEIGO, TRY PUTTING IT BACK TOGETHER. KISSES! –R
He thought the heart looked familiar. He closed the box, and placed it under his arm.
Later, Ryoma realised Ringo's hairpin is missing. When he pointed it out, she let out an expletive, and went looking on the floor for it, being careful not to be stepped on by the throngs of people dancing in the middle of the floor. She was too late, however. Ringo watched in horror as Tezuka bent down, and picked up something black and shiny. She immediately recognised it as her hairpin.
"What's wrong, Ringo?" Shalnark asked.
"Tezuka has my hairpin. The one that Ryoma gave me for my birthday."
Shalnark smiled. "Please, Ringo, they never paid attention to you, do you really think they would recognise it as yours?" He took out his phone and sent a message.

Tezuka left a secret message at the secret place the four of them agreed to when they found a clue. Later, the four former lovers later met at the closet with the sign "Seven Minutes in Heaven."
They clicked on the lights and Atobe whispered, "A red alert. What is it, Tezuka?"
Tezuka held up a black hairpin. "This belonged to the R person. Apparently, R is a female that goes to our school. R is also the type of person to be concerned with her appearance, as this hairpin is engraved with a fancy pattern. R also knows about Ryoma's disappearance, so she must be connected with R in some way."
"Do you think it's Pakunoda? I mean, Pakunoda did break him out after all." Atobe suggested.
"No, Pakunoda didn't wear anything on her hair." Fuji frowned. "But wait, R could be more than one person so I won't take her off the suspect list yet."
"True." Sanada replied.
"How about Shizuka? She knew Pakunoda really well." Atobe said.
"I'm not sure about her, but we can suspect she's part of R as well. We'll keep this for now, and keep an eye on Pakunoda." Tezuka replied.
"Right." They then stepped out of the closet, and Keisuke dragged them to the middle, where strawberry shortcake was served. They enjoyed the cake, while keeping a close eye on Pakunoda.
"Looks like they suspect me." Pakunoda commented, jerking her head to the four former lovers.
"True. Paku, you'd better keep out of sending messages for a while, and try not to hold conversations that have anything got to do with their secrets."
"Got it." She then chatted casually about fashion and clothing, which eventually bored the four former lovers out. Atobe sat in a corner, fixing the broken glass heart R sent them. He gasped when he finally fixed the heart. That heart was given to him by Shizuka during Valentine's Day last year. It was kept in his secret box with a passcode in his schoolbag, even after they broke up. Only two people knew of the passcode, which is him and…
He widened his eyes. It cannot be!
