Ferb pulled up to Vanessa's father's building, where she was staying for the weekend. Though she had her own apartment, her father wanted to guarantee that she was alive after her date.
"I know your father is anxious to see me, so I'll walk you in," Ferb said quietly.
They paused for a moment outside the door, uncertain whether they should go in just yet.
Vanessa hugged the tall Brit. "Thanks for the great evening, Ferb. I loved the play."
He smiled back at her, and before he knew it, she kissed him.
Ferb blushed scarlet.
"That was bloody brilliant."
